Wonderful must do experience

What a fabulous morning spent enjoying the facilities here at the Outback Pioneers shopfront. It was a full on show from a town crier out the front giving you a history lesson, the stage coach ride, the comedy show beside the coaches, a movie and beautiful scones and red/coffee in the dining area. The stage coach was really special and we managed to get on the top in back. So is 1 spot beside driver and 3 up top at back and rest are in the coach itself. Very dusty up too but so worth the experience. Highly recommended

Super cool

The whole experience on the stage coach was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Me and my friend Lauren really enjoyed it and the lunch was amazing so I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try something different go on the stage coach and they have gluten free options available as well

Terrific experience and well worth the cost. Both entertaining and educational. And they feed you so well in the Outback.

Getting to ride beside the coachdriver! My only constructive critism, is the ride could've gone longer & the movie shorter! Otherwise, very enjoyable!

Coach ride, morning tea...

Coach ride, morning tea and lunch were excellent. Show was too long. Edit out 20 minutes. Film was interesting.

A great experience !!

Loved the whole experience. Travelling in the stage coach with horses at full gallop was awesome. Enjoyed the delicious morning tea, old movie and tent show. Very entertaining, had a great time.

A must do in Longreach.

The staff are all friendly and helpful. The experience was well planned out. The tea and scones after the stage coach ride was awesome

Great experience I enjoyed it so much.

Riding on the top of the stagecoach was awesome, especially when the h I rses galloped. The scones jam and cream were great. The movie was so good, and the tent show was so funny.

We did it all! Every tour with Outback Pioneers is worth doing. Five Stars.

My friend and I stayed in the very authentic and amazingly comfortable 'The Stables' accommodation in Longreach and each day, we went on tour with Outback Pioneers. Their organisation was excellent. Such a friendly, welcoming setup - from the first morning coffee served by Dominic, to breakfast with the lovely Diana in the dining room, we had no complaints. Richard Kinnon gave us an exciting ride on the stagecoach. His son Jeremy took us on an entertaining visit to Nogo Station, the family property. Vern drove us to a most enjoyable evening on the riverboat cruise. He also took us to the Dinosaur Discovery Centre in Winton, The Waltzing Matilda Centre and back in Longreach, the Australian Stockmans Hall of Fame and the Qantas Founders Museum. I think we saw it all! Highly recommend Outback Pioneers if you are thinking of visiting Longreach.

Fantastic Stage Coach experience, more than we expected

This was a fantastic experience that our whole party (70, 69, 36 and 3.5) loved. My father (70) has back issues but he found the ride to be fine and it did not aggravate his back at all. The stage coach ride itself was brilliant and we were not expecting the freshly baked scones with jam and cream afterwards. The movie is quite an old film and was boring for my little one so we stepped out for that while my parents continued to watch it. We then all really enjoyed the old time tent show at the end.

Fun Must Do in Longreach

This is a truly fun must do activity in Longreach. The Cobb & Co stage coach ride was really fun, especially when the horses are let loose! Lane was our coach driver & he was so entertaining, making the ride even more enjoyable. The rest of the tour is fun, nostalgic and interesting. Highly recommend.

A Unique Holiday Experience

This was a truly unique experience with a selection of fun activities and entertainment experiences; including food and drinks.

Disappointed

I was lucky enough to sit up the back but my husband was inside with the other 7 people, way to many. Not happy with sitting for an hour watching a movie we all saw 50 years ago. We missed the tent show as we left the tickets in the van, the scones were nice but that should have been in the bush setting before the stage coach returned. We expected a longer ride for the price.

A good addition to things to do in Longreach

Stage coach ride was interesting but inside carriage made it hard to really appreciate the experience. Movie was very reminiscent and the live show was very entertaining. Gluten free scones exceptional.

Pioneer morning!

The second experience we have done with Outback Pioneers - they know how to do it! The fun of the ride, the tent show, the old time movie, lunch in a billy can and the smoko of fresh warm scones - a great way to spend the morning!

Some of it went on too long.

The movie was pointless. The tent show went on way too long. Not that funny either. The stagecoach run was not long enough funnily. Hard to understand the soft tones of Wade also. Needs to speak up a bit.

Fantastic experience

Everything really. The coach ride especially and we were surprised just how fast we went when they were put to a gallop!

A unique experience you won’t forget.

This was a terrific experience. Absolutely loved the coach ride. The scones were fresh and delicious. The tent show was very unique and entertaining.

Back in Time

My wife and I were the lucky 2 that got to sit up top. A quick lap around the block and we were onto the original stagecoach route used 150 years ago. Good information through the commentary, our Driver Lance was a crack-up. Good old dry wit bush humour. A hard tour to beat

This was a great experience I would definitely recommend it , it was lots of fun and very well organised and value for money .

Must do experience in Longreach!

Riding the stagecoach was a fantastic experience and the day from beginning to end was just amazing. Highly recommend to anyone going to Longreach but make sure you book well in advance so as not to miss out on this great day.

Very Funny Stage Coach Drivers

Very safe, a lot of fun, very funny stage coach drivers. Lovely morning tea to start the day with. Horses and cattle dog were beautiful.

A lot of fun

Well run, unique experience. Don’t have breakfast as you have scones and coffee as soon as you arrive. After the stage coach gets back there is a very hammy stage presentation. None of us know what to make of it (hence 4 not 5 stars). The presentation was informative and filled with really bad dad puns. But even then they explained why. It was worth the money.

Loved it all, the ride the informative commentary, the movie and of course the tent show. Thank you to all involved.

Excellent value for money.

The whole experience was wonderful. It was informative with its share of humour. The whole day exceeded our expectations. Would thoroughly recommend this as a must do when visiting Longreach.

What a great morning, stage coach ride, morning tea served in style, the town crier giving history early morn, tent show , very clever, poetry and film., and optional lunch served in a billy can. Well worth visiting to participate in this activity

Cobb and co experience

So enjoyed the morning tea of tea and scones. The coach ride was fab. Liked the guy at the end getting the dust off the participants with the blower. The old time movie 1956, am old enough to remember some of the young actors from later years. The tent show and bush poetry. All entertaining.

When we arrived we taken through for a photo followed by a stage coach ride,morning tea,a movie and finally a fun show

Fun in the Outback

We visited Outback Pioneers in Longreach and did the Cobb & Co Stagecoach Experience . Glad we did , it was great . It was a nice little tour in and out side the town . We arrived back and then watched a movie . We enjoyed the movie with popcorn and then after the movie we enjoyed some comedy with the staff and animals . Enjoyed a good laugh . Was great to see
