Great tour

Absolutely loved all the stops in LA. Very interesting to see all the popular sites. Great pickup from cruise terminal and drop at airport at 430pm. The driver was a bit repetitive. Manly talked about his daughter and movie stars repeatedly. No real facts about LA. Would highly recommend tour but not driver.

A good tour with some disappointment.

We enjoyed the tour but it wasn't clear from the description that some of the listed attractions would only be a drive by. For example it was disappointing not to actually stop at Santa Monica pier but have an hour at Venice Beach.

The Alberto experience!

Alberto first of all, great knowledge and sense of humour! Great photographs with Hollywood sign, the very busy and somewhat tacky Hollywood boulevard. Lunch in Mel’s diner was an experience, food very American diner style. The cars on the road in Beverly hills. Venice beach was very lively with breakdancing competition. Most important for us returned to ship on time!

First Class Day spent in LA

We had an amazing day. So knowledgeable entertaining and made us feel very comfortable and able to ask questions. Thank you so so much for helping me find Bob Marley's Star on the Hollywood Walk of a Fame. I will always remember it. (Amanda)

Seeing the Santa Monica pier. Driver was very friendly. But less time or no lunch at Mel’s diner. Also a suggestion, a full stop at the UCLA stadium.

Gabriel, our guide, made the tour enjoyable. He's knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour covered all the famous areas of Los Angeles. The tour included pick up and drop off from our hotel which made it very convenient.

Great Way to Spend Last Day!

Alberto was a wonderful host for the day! He was very knowledgeable about the area, and gave recommendations of what to check out during our stops. We enjoyed all of the sights and stops offered on this tour. We were picked up from the cruise port and dropped off for our early evening flight - the perfect way to spend our last day rather than sitting in the airport all day!

Dream Come True

Omg! This tour was so awesome that I booked it twice! Gabriel and Alberto were my guides! They were fun to be with and kept all of us safe. I was very very impressed

RIPOFF DO NOT TOUR WITH THEM

Tour was not a full 8 hours, was just a little over 6. The Griffith Park Observatory was skipped. Rodeo Dr. was skipped. Santa Monica Pier was skipped. Guide, Gabriel, did not make it clear that we would not be visiting the Hollywood sign prior to stopping at the Walk of Fame. Guide was very distasteful in what was said, for example, speaking about going to strip clubs, repeatedly. Guide provided no information on the history of Los Angeles. Multiple people on the tour questioned the guide about skipping stops, the guide either ignored us or gave false information, for example, said the bus was not allowed on Rodeo Dr., however the other tour bus from that day did go onto Rodeo Dr. Website states you will be transported in a 14 passenger Mercedes Benz bus, we were on a large motor coach. Guide kept saying prior to the first stop that he had to "pee" and he will push everyone out of the way to get to the bathroom first. Extremely uncomfortable with this, very poor language over the entire day. At one point guide wanted driver to turn onto a residential street, the driver explained the coach was to large to be on residential streets, a while later, the guide instructed the driver to turn onto a street, stating he would be ok, only to find ourselves on a residential street! The guide knew that the driver stated the coach could not be on residential streets, but put us all in danger by having him travel onto a residential street anyway. The guide was clearly just in a hurry to make a few stops and get us back to port as quickly as possible, assumingly so he could get back to the strip club and eat chicken wings as he repeatedly stated throughout the morning. The entire tour was very uncomfortable and ruined by the guide, missed stops, and cut short.

Amazing day seeing all the sights!

This was a lovely tour, we were stuck for what to do as we had a long wait between getting off the boat and our 9pm flight and having our luggage with us. Not only was our guide very knowledgeable he was also funny and showed us so many things! I would recommend this tour to anyone that needs something to do before their flight!

Good use of time

We found that the tour was very good especially the morning we enjoyed the observatory and Hollywood including Mels Diner, we would like to have known who lived in some of the Beverly hills properties and also a stop in Rodeo Drive rather than Venice beach

Great tour guide!

We really enjoyed driving around seeing the architecture and famous places. Sorry we did not go to Mel’s diner.

Disappointing excursion.

The guide was very knowledgeable. However, we did not visit sites on the itinerary as per the website. Did not visit Observatory, Santa Monica pier, Rodeo Drive. Spent full day of driving around without really looking and stopping at highlights. Very disappointed and so were other passengers. Started 45 minutes late as had to wait for passengers arriving late. Very disorganized in the morning, sorting out passengers and buses.

A Great day of Sightseeing.

Alberto was our driver/guide. He was awesome!! Very knowledgeable of the area and its history. Alberto has a great personality, he was funny and made us laugh. He picked us up promptly after we got off a Carnival Cruise at Long Beach terminal. He loaded our luggage and dropped us off at LAX after our tour. He drove a high rise van that was comfortable. I was a little skeptical in the beginning but I was pleasantly surprised with the tour. On the way to our scheduled sights he told us the history of the areas we were driving through. Some of the tour was ride by but we did get out at a few places. He carried us to lunch at Mel’s Drive In. The food was a little expensive but it was very delicious. I would highly recommend booking the City of Los Angeles from Long Beach. We visited a lot of places, saw a lot of sights and had great food. I only wish we could have spent more time at the places we visited but I also know it was a day paced full. You can only do so much in 8 hours. Great time!

We saw LA in one day! Alberto was great, very knowledgeable about everything. Really thought an 8 hour tour would get boring but Alberto would not let that happen. We saw everything we wanted to see and learned alot about " behind the scenes" stuff. Would defiantly recommend this !

Cruise guide was very...

Cruise guide was very knowledgeable of the area, kept to the schedule while still allowing enough time to explore. His jokes were also funny. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Nice Trip, If you are from out of town.

John was good driver, The audio system left a lot that could improve, maybe a longer mike on the headphone setup. I and my wife enjoyed seeing areas we heard about and not having to drive it on unfamiliar roads.

Tour of LA

Our tour guide was awesome, we stopped at several places and he gave us very reasonable amounts of time to view the sites. He was very personable and knew a lot about the city of LA.

Great way to spend a day

Griffith Park Observatory. I generally enjoyed all the venues, and really appreciated the transportation from the cruise ship to LAX.

Great Guide!

Four stars because this tour was perfect for us and what we needed for the day coming off of a cruise and waiting for our evening flight. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We did find the actual tour lacking and the visits to the spots too quick or too long… Loved the theaters and the insider history. The first stop was to the first LA and market… that wasn’t completely open yet - would have been a great stop for lunch! Lunch was to Mel’s and then we drove down Rodeo Dr. and out to Venice Beach - we would have loved to stay here longer too! If you have mobility issues it’s mostly driving so walking wouldn’t be needed much but the van could be a struggle.

Will not allow for special accomdadations despite advertising that they would

We ended up having to cancle becuse the tour agent could not accomodate the special requests we needed in order to take the trip. We are still waiting for a refund.

An excellent ‘highlights’ tour of LA!

Gabriel, our guide, did a great job of sharing local insights on areas of interest and providing us with a full day of interesting sights. The stops were well timed and provided plenty of opportunity to experience a little bit of the most iconic nearby places. This was our first visit to LA and now have a good sense of where we’d go next time we’re back.

Nothing to share. May take it again. Hope it was a bigger van so can sit more comfortable. The guide was good.

Very Good Tour and Guide!

Luck would have it that my wife and I were the only passengers. Due to health issues, we could not walk much so our guide filled our tour with many other sites to see that he could not have done with others walking to sites like the observatory at Griffith Park and other places. Gabriel was very accommodating and kind with his patient demeanor. Gabriels' knowledge of the area and its history is amazing. We are very happy to recommend Sunseeker Tours and especially Gabriel to all looking for a great day in LA. Steven Templin

Great Day!

Pick up was easy from the ship, got lots of information on LA. Good balance between driving and the various stops. If you are short on time and want to see as much as possible in a day this is a great tour. Driver was very knowledgeable and kept the group on schedule.

Waste of money

Our experience with Sunseekers Tour was far from enjoyable. The guide seemed disinterested and provided minimal information about the city’s attractions. We spent more time in the bus (drive-by attractions) then actually exploring Los Angeles. I was left with the impression that this tour was not worth the money, and I would advise others to consider alternative tour options. The Los Angeles tour was a major letdown. Despite the city’s rich history and vibrant culture, this tour managed to complexly ignore all of that. Instead of providing any meaningful insight into the city’s history or its diverse attractions, our guide, Gabriel, seemed more interested in perpetuating Hollywood stereotypes. He incessantly droned on about celebrities and their latest escapades, as if that’s all there is to Los Angeles. The focus on ‘woke’ liberal ideologies felt forced and out of touch, making the whole experience uncomfortable for those looking for a well-rounded exploration of the city, the tour left us feeling like we had wasted our time and money on shallow conversations and superficial obsessions. It was a missed opportunity to appreciate the city’s true essence and left us thoroughly unsatisfied.

Good day. Easy. Great excursion from our ship as we only had 12 hours in port.

Our guide Alberto and our driver Abe were excellent. This tour was a great overall highlights of LA. Limited time at several stops but we saw All the hits.

Exceeded Our Expectations

Gabriel was excellent. He started sharing info from our pick up at 8:15 until our drop off at 6:15. It was our first visit to LA, so there was a lot to take in. I would highly recommend Gabriel for this tour. We got our money worth and more. Thank you Gabriel. Your Ohio visitors.

The Best Tour Guude!

Our tour guide, Alberto was fantastic! Even when on a boring freeway or stuck in traffic, he made it interesting with his seemingly unending knowledge of facts and stories. What a great experience! I also appreciated how conscientious he was about getting us back just in time to get on our ship. This is one of the best tours I've ever taken and it shown by the biggest tip I've ever given. Thank you!

Tour area good tour guide not so good

Enjoyed that we got to see a lot of the city in one day. Was great to get picked up off the cruise ship in Long Beach and see Los Angeles. Had ample time at each stop. Tour guide Gabriel, was evidently having”a bad day” the day of our tour and preceded to question my age and mental awareness suggesting I had dimentia when I asked a question regarding where we were headed next and what beach we were seeing. The whole tour bus was upset at his comments to me and tried to tell him he was being very rude and disrespectful but that only made him get going more with his nasty verbal comments and he proceeded to pull the bus to the side of the road and lecture us on why He was proud to be disrespectful… it really was weird. I contacted the tour owner and informed him of Gabriel’s inappropriate comments and behavior . He agreed his tour guide was out of place in his actions and verbal comments to me and our entire tour group. He agreed to refund my tour money and explained Gabriel said he was having a “bad day”!? I would never take a tour with Gabriel again but the tour owner did his best to apologize for the incident and compensate me for my bad tour experience. I am suppose to get an apology from Gabriel ….still waiting for that….

A great overview of Los Angeles and Surrounding Areas

Our guide, John, is a native of Los Angeles and is a wealth of information. We saw not only Los Angeles and Hollywood, but also Griffith Park, Santa Monica, Venice Beach, and Marina Del Ray. He took us to Mel’s Diner for lunch and we had numerous opportunities to get snacks and have restroom breaks. He picked us up from the cruise terminal at 8:45 am and dropped us off at LAX at 5 pm.

A scam for cruisers!

If you are planning to get off your cruise to take this tour...DON'T! You cannot get to their bus on time. We were with faster to the fun and were 1 of the 1st off but had to wait as our toddler wasn't traveling with passport. I feel certain this is a scam as driver started calling 15 minutes before pick up time wanting to know where we were. A manager actually called me and refused to refund and told us to take an Uber to meet them at 1st stop (We didn't dare for fear of them leaving us again). Again, I caution anyone who is considering dealing with Sunseeker Tours after your cruise to rethink your plans.

Best tour guide ever!

Alberto, our tour guide, did such an amazing job! He is so personal and made us feel just like family! He has such a wealth of knowledge and shared so many interesting things throughout the whole tour with us! We would definitely recommend this tour as we went from city to city seeing so many sights around LA! Thanks again Alberto!

Great full day tour of LA......small van!

Excellent tour of 9 hours, taking in a huge tract of Los Angeles. Downtown, Griffith Park, Pasadena, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice and associated sites, like the walk of fame, Santa Monica Pier, Mel's Drive In for lunch. Gabriel our driver was great. Only criticism ....the van was WAY to small for 12 people and luggage and I ended up with bad cramp from being almost folded into tge rear seats!

Great day in LA

What a great way to finish off our holiday after our cruise. Picked up at the port and shown the sights of LA. Our guide was a local who informed us greatly. Finished off our day by being dropped off at LAX airport for our night flight home toAustralia. Bonus 👍

Nope, don't. Skip this tour.

I asked for a Spanish guide, I got none. Had I known this was going to be English only, I would have chosen any other tour, they were cheaper because of being single language. I would not recommend this one.

Worthwhile excursion, informative guide.

Liked the older residential part of L A with the individually designed houses and the foot and hand prints in front of the Chinese Theatre. Santa Monica Boulevard is lovely, also the beach area.

Not good enough for the $$$

Waited exactly where required, bus arrived 15 mins late and unable to contact them we not all visitors are from the USA with suitable mobile/wi-fi. No adequate provision for non US guests. Tour guide kept repeating the same things over and over again. Too many references to US sporting events, players etc as only 1 out of 15 was American and the rest of us had no idea and little interest that a new player at 17 is rumoured to become a star. A passenger asked a valid question and the driver ridiculed her for at least 5 minutes. We visited some nice places but the small tour bus wasn't ideal. We thought it would be a full size coach. OK but wouldn't recommend.

Brilliant last day before flying back to the UK!

My wife and I were collected from San Pedro cruise terminal. Our guide was Gabriel. He was excellent … informative, and took us to all the scheduled itinerary. We had a great time visiting Hollywood, Beverly Hills etc. The only point of improvement I would make is that the instructions told us to meet our guide ‘at the curb outside the terminal.’ Both ourselves and Gabriel found this difficult because 2 cruise ships were in and there were thousands of people lining the long curb! It would have been better if the the instruction had been more explicit … E.g to meet at the sign for gate 92. Having said that, Gabriel was brilliant and contacted us by phone, and we eventually found each other. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Excellent Tour

Got to see all the important sites of LA with a fantastic day's tour in a comfortable mini bus. Several stops of 1 hour to explore and enjoy the key areas of intrest. Our guide Gabriel was a mine of information and knew everything there was to know. Friendly and funny, he totally sealed the experience. Would highly recommend this trip and would definately do it again.

Gabriel was our driver. He was professional, knowledgeable and fun. If I was rating this tour simply on our driver I would give it a 5/5 stars. Unfortunately it rained ALL day and although Gabriel did his best the tour fell short of our expectations. We cannot blame your company for the rain but I was not able to visually see things that were being pointed out, we did not visit many of the sites mentioned in your literature and the restaurant (Mels) was a disappointment. It was run down, ceiling was leaking in several places in the restaurant, chairs had rips in the leather etc. We know Gabriel did his best and he apologized profusely. But we felt we paid a lot of money for a ride from the ship to our hotel that day!

Excellent tour!

Had a long wait before our airplane left after getting off our cruise. Found this tour. It exceeded our expectations! Saw so many things that we’ve only seen on TV. Ate at Mel’s diner. The tour guide was fantastic. He shared little bits of info about every place we went by. Then he dropped us off at LAX. I definitely recommend this tour!!
