Westminster Abbey Entrance Ticket Including Audio Guide

Worth it

Audio guide a bit confusing, as it begins on the opposite end of the church from where you pick up the guide. Viator website states TWICE that the ticket must be printed out on paper, but that is not the case. Meanwhile we panicked to find a printer at the last minute and paid 2 pounds for the copy. 😡

A must see for All

This was an awesome experience that’s a must on anyone’s list. The history of the location and the architecture is magnificent. Even all the people that are laid to rest there and their tombs are wonderful.

Not to be missed

Westminster Abbey is a venue that should not be missed on a visit to London. The audio guide however was a disappointment. Very little information is given and had I known beforehand that the Abbey provides guided tours, I would opted to go that route.

Stunning architecture, angelic choir and walking around famous dead folks

We found this to be a rather weird and underwhelming experience. Whilst the architecture is astounding as you would expect, walking around on famous people’s gravestones ( cause they have been buried in the church under the floor) and going past royal tombs just felt, well wrong to be honest. The choir was practising and they were beautiful and reminded me I was in a church rather than a morgue

Westminster Abbey Audio Guided Tour

Westminster Abbey tour with audio guide was amazing. The audio was informative and to the point explaining the history of the abbey and those laid to rest. The architecture, stained glass windows, tomb of the unknown soldier and hourly prayer are all part of a great experience. Unfortunately, the lines to get in were long and the wait was about 30 minutes for a 2:30 timed ticket.

Outstanding tour guide

We loved our tour with Adrian. Our family, including 3 young adults, enjoyed everything! Adrian was positive, interactive, knowledgeable, funny and overall very pleasant. His enthusiasm was passionate and he taught us the perfect amount!

Charging students the same amount like adults! Buying all the tickets, so we couldn’t buy one from the Abbey!

“High” price because you buy all the tickets from the venues, forcing us to buy from you if we want to visit!☹️ You are charging an undeserved commission for doing nothing. I will not call your business very honest !

Unbelievable

Words can’t describe how unbelievable this place is. If there’s one thing to see while you’re in London, it’s this. Overwhelming experience.

A Must See

Even with tickets, expect to wait in line to get in as there is only one cashier inside scanning tickets. The audio tour worked out well, and the Abbey is architecturally stunning! It was extremely crowded, which made getting around a bit difficult at times. There are quite a few people buried here so it became more like a tomb than a church.

Westminster Tardy Abbey

Very disappointed in the tardiness of process management of our ticket. Arrived on time at 09:30 but then had to queue outside for 40 minutes while two other queues were allowing quick access into the Abbey. On arrival at entrance the long delay was due to reprocessing tickets already bought and paid for having to be reissued. It was horrible and spoilt the experience. Inside the Abbey there were so many canvas wrapped containers down both of the side aisles hiding many statues and tombs and plaques. The number of people allowed in at one time shows money is dynamo for running this Abbey and not a personable experience. Very disappointed. Abbey also was quite tatty considering all the Royal coronations and fanfare that goes on.

Historical and utterly beautiful

The audio tour was amazing. It let you go at your own pace and really soak in the significance of it all. 10/10

Not great customer service

We actually didn't get to go because the airlines canceled our flight so we arrived a day and a half late and even though we contacted the tour company immediately and provided proof of cancellation of flight they refused to change the tickets to Saturday or refund our money. I think that was unreasonable and obviously we'll never use them again

Stay away from this tour operator

I would not recommend this to anyone. The tour operator is not helpful and I would look for other options

A must see in London

Never disappointing, Westminster Abbey is an amazing place to visit and well worth visiting. Using the audio guide is a must.

Unique experience - not to be missed!

With the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Galleries, you even get a glimpse from above on the beautiful church. History and fantastic architecture everywhere you look. Not to be skipped or missed at all, when visiting London.

Amazing in real life

Lots of historical references and easy to follow the audio guide but we heard some snippets of the private guides as we passed them and they sounded excellent as they bring the stories to life. Still a very interesting and beautiful abbey - highly recommended. We went as early as possible in the morning as it gets very busy.

The tour was very good. I enjoyed the self pace audio guide. I was also happy we were able to get in earlier than our scheduled tour time as we arrived earlier than I thought we would.

Beautiful building audio tour good . Easy to follow route around loved poets corner that was really fascinating. Audio a must to experience everything

May 31st visit

Poets corner was interesting. We didn’t know that the queen’s jubilee was another option to see. It was very crowded.

Astonishing Cathedral

It was an amazing cathedral. It’s a piece of art. Highly recommended to visit. You can spend hours in there.

Beautiful but crowded

While the history was spectacular and enjoyed the crowds were entirely too large and conflicted with the sanctity of the tour. Some very disrespectful people in there.

Terrible

We were very disappointed due to the fact that after our card was charged, we were denied access because it was closed. We were there at our scheduled time and told that they were open earlier. We were also told that we could come back the next day which didn't matter because we were scheduled to fly home.

Must see in London

Great experience! Awestruck by Westminster Abby. Learning about the architecture and history was super helpful with the audio guide.

Beautiful Abbey

The Abbey was beautiful and interesting. Even with a ticket, the line to get in was almost an hour long because we didn’t select a tour. However, the audio tour was fine for me.

It is such a beautiful, historic site! I think it is a MUST for anyone visiting London! All of our family enjoyed it tremendously.

Great tour, but paid too much

The Abbey was great, but booking through a third party is more expensive. For a substantial saving, go there on your own and purchase a ticket at the entrance.

Westminster Abbey is a must see when visiting London. If you want to avoid the waiting line buy a ticket in advance directly from Westminster Abbey. If you purchase through a third party you will still have to wait in line to get in

Wonderful

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Westminster Castle. Seeing the wonderful artwork about the history of all the people that have been buried there and the beautiful outside of the building made for a memorable afternoon

Great but not worth purchasing on Viator

Westminster Abbey was great but there was no point in purchasing our ticket on Viator because we were asked to wait in the same line as customers who lacked a ticket. We waited about 35 minutes. Perhaps if you want reassurance that tickets won’t sell out, go ahead and purchase. Other than that, I don’t see the value.

Long waiting line

But tickets directly from Westminster Abbey. We had to wait in line for 45 minutes. People with tickets bought from the abbey walked right in.

An amazing tour of an awesome historic church. Tour guide was knowledgeable and answered all questions professionally.

Unable to go due to an ill friend and company refused a refund. Won't use it again. I don't want to say more and you insist I do............

1. I was very clearly...

1. I was very clearly said that mobile tickets are not accepted. So I had to go a post office, line for 45 min and pay 3,5 pounds to have my ticket printed. Why. At the end, I discovered that mobile tickets could be used. I wasted time and money. 2. The audio guide is poorly organised and (italian version) includes some mistakes (Queen Mary reigning AFTER Elizabeth…).

Still beautiful after all these years

Tickets were supposed to open up on app and link never worked. They still honored them. Still made me nervous while waiting in a long queue. Audio tour had some information that was interesting but not near what I would have liked to know. Audio tour was difficult for the tech challenges people in my group.

Great learning experience!

The tour was very informative. There was much more to see than we expected. We spent almost 3 hours inside and learned a lot. We were unaware of the full extent of the history and the number of historical figures buried in the Abbey. Well worth the time spent.

Must go

The audio tour is excellent. A must see, so much history. It was better than I had thought. To see where nearly 400 Monarch have been crowned.

Westminster Abbey

The Abbey is amazing! Be ready for crowds and queueing to see certain areas. The audio added to the self paced tour. We were not required to print our tickets, just presented our confirmation information on your phone. Viator was an easy way to get and reserve entry though it is available at the door, arrive early.

Don’t miss this on your trip to London

The church is beautiful as are the sculptures and choir area. The ceilings are architecturally amazing and not to be missed.

The best way to visit...

The best way to visit Westminster Abbey is to reserve tickets with the Audio Guide. Having the ability to tour at your speed, and replaying the audio at times was extremely helpful in seeing such a beautiful, historical landmark.

A must see

Beautiful isn’t an accurate description; the history and tributes are breathtaking. It truly is a place of reverence.

Cemetery for the Royals!

My hubs & I had a lovely time exploring & learning about Westminster Abbey. We didn’t realized that it was mainly a cemetery for the former royals, but enjoyed our time within. The history is consuming & impressive!

DONT BUY THIS TICKET

Don’t book with Viator or Evan Evans Tours. They require you to PRINT OUT THE TICKET after you have purchased it. Buy direct from Westminster Abbey website. and go straight in. I had to visit their office to print out the ticket and then queue to get in the Abbey. What’s the point of buying this ticket???

Beware of this entry policy!

Although we bought timed tickets for entry, we were told we had to stand in a very long line with those who had not pre paid tickets- we were told by the staff that our Trip Advisor tickets were considered “vouchers” and therefore not recognized as timed tickets. Only tickets bought on the Westminster Abbey website were given timed status recognition. The block long line wait severely impacted the amount of time to see the Abbey before closing, and we felt rushed through. How disappointing for us! That policy was not pointed out when we were getting the tickets from Trip Advisor. Had I known I would have gone directly to the venue website. We felt extremely mislead and certainly did not get our moneys worth on this purchase.

Late Flight missed opportunity

Our flight was late, it was raining, we missed our tour. Still wish to experience this tour. Maybe in a few days.

So much history and a great tour. Audio guide was informative and the Abbey wasn’t too crowded when we went in the morning on a weekday.

Easy to get in and it was good to know we had our tickets booked. We like the self guided tour option.
