Spent a little too much time in St Paul’s for my taste. It was beautiful but maybe adding another site would’ve been nicer use of time. Sat in the cafe to kill time. Tower of London was very interesting. Our guide ended the tour there which was great because we could explore at our own pace. Guide took photos of us in front of Buckinghams palace which was nice. We didn’t see the changing of the guard but on the plus side it was not crowded at all. We personally ended up not going on the London Eye ( fear of heights kicked in) and strolled along the Thames while we waited for our group. Our guide was Tish was great.

So much history and fun for our family of 5

This tour was so great for our family of 5 with kids ranging from 9-21 years old. May have been a little long for the youngest, but he was so interested in everything we were doing he never complained. We got to see most of the iconic tour stops in the city and the Crown Jewels were a fun way to end the tour. Advice: wear comfortable shoes. There is quite a bit of walking on uneven surface. Athletic shoes would be best. We would have appreciated an earpiece, so we could hear the guide. She was very informative, but the group was large enough you can’t hear her unless you are right by her.

Good, not great

If you don’t have time to explore on your own, I would recommend this tour. Tour guide, Mark, seemed knowledgeable. (Felt) Rushed through some of the attractions and thought there would be more guide on the guided tour portions.

Terrible customer support

The guide was exceptional, the company was awful. The directions to the mtg place were incorrect. The bus left without us because we were 1 minute late as a result of their flawed instructions. The mgr on site was rude and not helpful. He told us to take a taxi to the next stop and hope our bus was there. Totally pathetic and unprofessional!!!

London City in a Day

Eileen was a great tour guide, we definitely saw all the highlights of London, most impressed that she knew how to position us perfectly to see all the parading during the changing of the gaurd. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

Fabulous London tour

Our tour guide Tish was amazing, humorous and so knowledgeable . Loved visiting St Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London and meeting Barney Beefeater Royal Guard. The London Eye experience was fun. Wish we had skip the line priveleges to avoid the queues as this was the case throughout the day at most. of the attractions.. The Uber Boat ride was delayed...and not what we expected > we thought it was a cruise on the river but it's really a boat taxi option to get to the Tower of London.

Brilliant tour

Brilliant bus tour. Jack was a brilliant tour guide and kept us entertained with his humour whilst being very knowledgeable. I learned more about London on this trip than any trip previously. There was plenty to see for the whole duration and we did not feel like it was getting dragged out, if anything it could’ve been longer.

Truly enjoyed

Tish was our guide she was very informative and had a great sense of humor The tour began at St Paul’s Cathedral where she provided an in depth explanation of the significant individuals interned there we then proceeded to the Tower of London where a Beefeater introduced us to its history she also stood in line with us to see the Crown Jewels although any other guide would have abandoned us to our fate Truly enjoyable

Good

The whole experience was a good one. Would have preferred a little more free time at the stops where we were on our own just because of the lines that we had to deal with. Our guide, Martin, was Superb, very Knowledgeable, very personable, just a good individual all the way around.

Disappointed

Tour was canceled because of London bike event through streets. Was not told till we were standing at our bus stop.

Fabulous London tour!

An amazing full day covering the key landmarks and points of interest in London. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour of St Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London visit. The a London was also a fun attraction. Our tour guide Tish was fabulous! She's so knowledgeable and interesting with a great sense of humour ! Most enjoyable experience 🙏

Great London Experience

I had an incredible experience with Sandra as my guide! Her knowledge of London was outstanding, and her enthusiasm and love for the city made the tour truly enjoyable. She was attentive to all our needs and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional tour experience!

Great time!

I didn't give all 5 stars only bc I feel like this was more work than planning the sightseeing ourselves. Our hotel was near the sites so we really could have walked and paid for the tickets separately. Especially bc the tour guide didn't talk a lot. We would only hear from her while waiting in line for places, but we weren't given a radio and headphones so we couldn't hear her. The coach was nice though.

Enjoyable tour of iconic places.

Mature and experienced guide made all the difference. Enjoyed the iconic places often viewed on shows.

Sweet Ride

The line was long but well worth waiting. The view was spectacular and the pod was clean. I really liked that it went slowly so we could get lots of pictures.

Great day in London!

We went on The Total London Experience with Sandra as our guide. It was an excellent way to see many sights. The tour was well-organized and Sandra's knowledge of London and all the sites was very impressive. Would highly recommend!

Don't waste your money!

Terrible service. Booked a Total London Experience Tour and would never recommend them. Was separated from the tour after St. Pauls due to very vague details of pick-up point, so missed getting to Buckingham Palace. Rang emergency number and was told to go to the Eye and meet tour guide at ticket office there. After searching for 20 minutes I recognised one of the group in the queue and rejoined them. One of the reasons for booking the tour was because the information said we would skip the queues but it took 25 minutes to get onto the Eye in the public queue. Went to the Tower, no Beefeater as promised, only a brief talk about the buildings and we were then set free to explore on our own. Once again the queue for the Crown Jewels was ridiculously long.

Amazing tour with Williams

Amazing tour with Williams today. We learned some much, Williams put so much enthusiasm in his stories, the 2 hours went very fast!

Very enjoyable with fun memories made!

The tour was excellent and Mark did a fantastic job!! He was so knowledgeable about the landmarks and his added touch of humor made it fun!

Wonderful

Patricia & the driver on the coach was excellent. She spoke very clearly. You could understand her. It was a great time. I would tell my friends how good it was.

Great experience in London

Wonderful tour. Tish was very knowledgeable and so easy to follow with that yellow umbrella! There was plenty of time to explore and see both St Paul's and Tower of London . Put in 16k steps! The London Eye was fun too! Thank you for this great experience in London!

Iconic London in a nutshell

Think Mary Poppins in London… and that is exactly what you get. Sandra was an incredibly knowledgeable guide who made you feel welcome and included despite the large group size. Locations we visited were classic bucket list locations as you do for the first visit to London. A must see coupled with an innately warm guide with infinite knowledge and a wry sense of humour. A must do trip for all those visiting London for the first time.. and for those with a thirst for historical knowledge.

Cost was too much for experience

The instructions told us to meet at 7:30am. We were there at 7:15. The bus didn’t show up until 7:50. The guide was very rushed throughout the day. The most disappointing was to not have a beefeater guide at the Tower of London and to have been turned loose more than an hour before our tour was to end at 4:30. Luckily I had someone with me who had been there before so I could get information from her.

Mark was a great guide. Really enjoyed the tower,the eye, and cathedral. Definitely a tour worth taking to see a lot of sites

Fantastic tour of London with our expert guide Sandra

We absolutely loved this tour and our expert guide, Sandra. Sandra is a professional guide which requires extensive training over multiple years. She is a walking encyclopedia of history with a great sense of humor! All of us on the tour were engaged and listened intently to everything she said. My wife had a brain aneurysm rupture last year and has been recovering for the last 9 months. She is able to walk short distances and Sandra was extra mindful to ensure we didn’t fall behind. We ended up doing 10,000 steps over 9 hours!! We were her little chickadees following her around happily listening to her tell us the history of what we were seeing. We saw everything listed on the tour and a lot more from the bus and didn’t feel rushed in any way. We had time to get a coffee or lunch at a few stops as well. We ended at the Eye which was also an amazing experience. Golden Tours has put together an exceptional tour and Sandra took it over the edge. It was the highlight of our trip to the UK and France. Strongly recommended!!

Worth the money

Excellent experience. Great guide and sites scene were as advertised. Taking a couple who had never been to London before and felt the tour was well done and efficient providing London "newcomers" a quick view of the city

Excellent experiences !

I really like to write a commendation that - today’s Total London Experience with Golden tour Bus was a great one. Tour Driver Mr. Amrish and the tour guide Eileen were truly tremendous with their efficiency, Super service with exact timing, patience and humor senses. It was a great experience for me and all in our tour today, for Surely. The Guide Eileen has a great power of Knowledge and astonishing memory of the subject matter with lively humor- that reminded me over and over of my high school history teacher. I really would like to refer all to get their service. Thanks Eileen and Amrish. Only thing I would suggest to the company to make it easy- the finding of departure location- as people not familiar with the location as I came from New York for the first time. Best wishes. Great staff....

Great staff. Knowledgeable and friendly. Kids enjoyed the tour and we hit all of the listed stops and a few extra.

Lots of steps

Our trip was a great experience. There were a lot of steps you had to walk up. Our tour guide, Santiago was very knowledgeable.

Great London Experience

We had a great time and about guide (Sandra) was incredibly knowledgeable and witty! She was extremely patient and funny. The tour was timed well with plenty of time to wonder about.

Expansive tour

We had a wonderful experience with Golden Tours. The bus was comfortable. Our driver, Tish, was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was a wonderful tour guide. We experienced St. Paul’s which was beautiful, the London Eye, which was totally worth the hype, the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, a cruise of the River Thames, and the Tower of London. Tish was great with keeping us on schedule and her yellow umbrella made it easy to find her in the sea of crowds.

Fun day around London

Fantastic fun. We started the morning early and organized. Sandra our tour guide was so passionate and knowledgeable. She pointed out small details and set us up for success at all the main stops. She even took time to interact with my daughters and show them little bits of history throughout the tour. Great tour.

The tour was fine but not...

The tour was fine but not what we were expecting for the money. The tour guide, Mark, was very good and knowledgeable but the tour did not provide us anything more than we could have done on our own. We understood we would get access to site, not just the payment of admission but that was not the case.

Great taste of London

We loved this experience. Our tour guide Mortimer was excellent! He was extremely knowledgeable and definitely entertaining. We got to visit a lot of places in London that were on our list and they were all great. Our only complaint would be the explanation of the meeting point! Luckily for us our Uber driver knew what we were talking about when we told them it was stop #8 but other people were not as fortunate. Some people on the trip went to Buckingham Palace looking for the meeting place which was far from where we actually had to meet. There needs to be a better description of where to meet.

Best way to see London

Wow - what an amazing time! Marc was a fantastic guide, with so much great information to share. The pickup location was easy to find, and we had plenty of time at each of the stops. Hot spots on this tour are Buckingham Palace (outside), St Paul’s Cathedral admission, London Eye ride, pics of Big Ben and the London Bridge, ferry ride on the Thames and a fantastic tour of the Tower of London. We had an amazing time and saw all of the best tourist attractions.

Amazing tour, guide could have been better.

Tour was good and very interesting. Our guide, while knowledgeable didn't come across as such by using terminology like 'see he's holding a harry potter wand' when talking about ancient statues etc - it sort of took away from the beauty and age of what we were seeing. Also catching a public ferry while waiting in the rain was not ideal, we were all spread throughout the boat and there was confusion when we were to get off etc.

Wonderful!

We loved it! I was a little concerned that it would be a world-wind look and we would have to "keep it moving" the whole time, but that could not have been further from the experience. A great pace to see and enjoy the sights, as well as learning interesting facts along the way. Morton did a great job as our guide and was so easy to ask questions of, and had such a cheerful attitude the whole day. Definitely worth it!

Great introduction to London

This tour was an amazing introduction to London. Our guide Mark was so knowledgeable and made it a great day. Would highly recommend this tour.

Great way to see a lot in a little time

Well worth it! Tish was our fabulous guide and Jim our amazing bus driver. Started at Buckingham Palace for a photo op, ended at London Tower and a look at the Royal Jewels. Included a boat ride front London Eye to the Tower. Packed with information and all the insider info to make the rest of our stay in London better.

Amazing experience!

ZoZo was a fantastic tour guide, the trip had to be changed due to weather but I felt I did not miss out. ZoZo was attentive, informative and we felt like we were looked after. 100% recommend and would book again. We loved our encyclopedia tour guide! He knew just about everything you could ask!

Great Way to See the Highlights of London

This was a great tour for hitting the highlights of London - especially if you don’t have much time in town. We even got to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace.

Fun experience

Amazing tour! Highly recommend. This tour was a quick "see it all" trip. We were able to hit a lot of major hubs in London all while getting in a lot of beautiful scenery and our tour guide was super knowledgeable about all the history. Highly recommend. Unfortunately don't remember our guides name but she was a sweet Irish woman. Super nice ! Loved her.

Worthwhile. Just keep up with the guide

It was a good tour, but it needs to improve the organization. I recommend making sure that contact information is provided in case someone gets lost and having a pole with a flag attached as often we merge with crowds. The tour was certainly informative and entertaining regardless
