What an amazing show. My family and I loved it. From the costumes to the singing. The performers did such a good job keeping my 8-year-old entertained. A show not to be missed.

Better than movies.

Better than movies. The actors for scar, mufasa and simba are so freaking fantastic they just burst out movie actor energy.

A family friendly show!

The music, the dancing, the costumes are all so amazing! Every minute of the show is engaging and leaves you wondering-how did they do that? ! Have dinner and a pint of local beer before the show, reservations recommended, at Wellingtons next door. Super easy to catch a black taxi cab after the show.

Stunning from the start

OMG! My wife and I are in our 60's. And have been to the theatre many, many times, Now admittedly this time was with grandkids 8 and 10, and i was influenced by both who both raved about it afterwards but this was still the best show we have seen. Stunning from start to finish. Actors, musicians, costume makers and all involved must be so proud. If i could just say, please don't go in comparing a theatre production to a film. Just get caught up in the story and the performance. Definitely a show that will last in the memory. You have to see the costumes, UNBELIEVABLE! Disappointed the big Elephant only got seen at the start :-).

Was not perfect

Dancers’ movements were not coordinated enough. Otherwise great performance. Enough said; enough said.

Slightly dissapointing

Enjoyable but not as good as the original by any means felt they used some cheap effects some of the costumes not as good but if your a first timer you'll enjoy it.

Incredible 10/10

From the bottom of my heart this show touched my soul and it was probably the most memorable experience of my life. Stunning. You HAVE to experience this at least once in your life.

Great cast performance!

The entire cast did such a great job! The only thing I would recommend for Viator.com app is that they would allow you to select your own seats and not only the theater section.

Incredible!! What a show. The costumes, singers, performance was amazing from start to finish. Would definitely recommend!! Was a last minute decision to go and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Energetic and uplifting

Honestly one of the best shows! The energy of the whole cast, the costumes and production were outstanding. I saw this over 10 years ago and going back did not disappoint. Loved every minute.

Enjoyed it thoroughly

We bought the tickets about 3 weeks in advance and everything went very smooth. There aren’t any options for halal snacks other than crisps and popcorn but otherwise the show was amazing

Great performance.

There was a lot of confusion because the name of the theater was not shown on our viator ticket. We had to ask several people at our hotel if they knew where the theater was.

Awesome experience

Outstanding performance by each and every actor in the show. The orchestra and stage settings need a standing ovation. Also expressions of each participant was true to their role. Bravo

The actors are very talented! The changes to dialogue and humour were fitting for London crowds. We thoroughly enjoyed the show!

Such an amazing performance! Must see in London. Get stall seats because the animals (people dressed as animals) walk right down isles by you.

Truly brilliant. Wow what a show. Really spectacular. The performance and story adaption to theatre is fantastic. The costume design is really something else though. Amazing show, I would love to go again. There are a number of sites that sell tickets so it pays to shop around. We brought our seats a few weeks out direct from the theatre website and paid 20GBP/seat for a Friday evening sitting. Many tickets go for significantly more than this. Our seats were in the third row of the grand (highest) circle) and I thought we had a really good view. Not sure if I would pay the typical 100-200GBP more for other seats.

Fantastic spectacular show

Absolutely brilliant. A spectacle and a show. The child actors genuinely seemed to be having the time of their lives. And as for the woman that played Rafiki . Well worth going to see her alone. Superb. Fantastic

Nice musical

Show was excellent. Seats not so good. Even paying expensive tickets, when you gave in Front s tall person it destroy all the magic. The inclination of the seats is not good.

Simply the best musical I’ve seen to date

What can you? The experience was both on stage and in the crowd! Fantastic! Brought to life the animated film in ways unexpected and were spectacular to boot

Not very good at all

I need to be honest. I didn't enjoy it that much at all. The theater is obviously trying to send a political message. I like the message, but not when it affects the quality of the show while the ticket money is still coming directly out of my pocket! Singing of the young boy (Lion King) was not very good at all. A few key songs like "matina callade" was run through quickly. I expected big hits like that to be milked for all they were worth as the audience really liked that song (even though averagely sung). About 4-5 songs were just "fake African" (no real English words) which I thought was cool the first time around but then I longed to understand what they were saying in English. The monkey lady was great. They didn't fully turn her voice loose until the end but by then it was too late as I had already lost interest. GREAT costumes, though!

A Wonderful Family show

This is a story we all know by heart. But the production is amazing. After two minutes you forget that there are people behind the costumes and just see the animals. The show is a bit long (2 hours) but the theater was filled with children and everyone sat hypnotized. An excellent family show.

Lion king in Royal circle box

I took my parents to the Lion king for my father’s birthday, i chose Royal circle box AA after reading many forums i knew i may get a slight restricted view, seats 1&2 could barely see anything without leaning forward, seats 3&4 had good views We also paid extra for the Ambassador lounge £35pp, it was nice to avoid the crowds have private toilet and a pre theatre drink our host was a nice chap

The lion king show

Show was awsome. Children 5 and 12 year old really enjoyed. Really worth the money spent. Thanks to the wonderful actors.

Spectacular musical while visiting London

Spectacular show! We enjoyed every moment from start to finish. Vocals, decorations, dancers - everything was perfect. Would like recommend to everyone who visits London with teens.

Magical experience and fantastic cast of talented people. Well worth a visit while in London! We had last minute seats on the very top balcony but could still see all the magic.

London and The Lion

The Lyceum Theatre has great seating and no blind spots. Enjoyed the Lion Kjng Live for the first time. Double pleasure; London and The Lion King.

Great show, amazing performers. Pricey drinks and food.

Amazing show. Took my teenage niece for a theatre trip and Lion king was our last show of the week. The music was amazing and the performers were so passionate and engaging. The use of staging and puppets was out of this world. Every time the scene changed there was something else to take your attention. The drinks and food were a little expensive, it was £10 for a slush as they only served it in their lion king cups which you got to take home with you. The young performers who played Simba and Nala were amazing as well as the adults who took over from them. It was a magical performance and well worth the cost in my opinion.

Magical experience

Such an amazing show! Zazou, Simba, Scar, Timone and Pumba were especially great with their comedic timing and every member of the cast were so fantastic to watch in their amazing costumes. A truly magical experience made even better by the announcement at the end for the centrepoint charity which was lovely. I highly recommend for adults and children!

Amazing!

Visited Palace.Theatre Manchester for this show. It did not disappoint! The cast were amazing especially zazu the bird and timone and pumba 🤣 the sounds the props.. everyrhing was fabulous. We laughed and cried 😊 a must see.. amazing show!!!

Cool but air conditionner awful

It was a nice Show, Amazing Songs we really appreciate but in Grand Circle place 6 row L it is far away from the Stage,if I knew it,I would rather be closer and pay more

My husband booked this for to go with my sister. We loved it. However he could not find any confirmation emails from you and we had a panick nearer the time.

Kids first Theatre experience.

The Lion King was awesome. My children really loved the show, it wasn’t to long and it kept their interest. Highly recommend for families!

What a show this is !! Absolutely amazing 😊 we had a box and several actors used it to which gave us an extra opportunity to see them up close ! The only thing with the box was you do have to sit sideways and lean forwards to see it ! For us it was ok for others may not be so x This is my second time and yes I would go again totally recommend for all ages x

This was a great production although I did not really like the seats ahead because I was in the upper level and it was harder to see

Great must see show when in London !Evennif you have watched the Disney motion picture, this totally brings out the creative and human emotion to life.

Musicals were amazing and the cctress Simba was spectacular. The fashions and.design was incredible .l.would recommend everybody to go and.watch the lion King. Good experience and very accessible

Never been to a theatre before but can tell you the lion king was amazing was a perfect to take my Fiancée on her birthday you don’t have to be a lover of Disney to enjoy this show will be coming back very soon 5*’s

Still a great show but please look after our historic theatres

Amazing show, production, costumes and timeless songs to enjoy. Given the ticket price, some of the performances were lack lustre which was a shame. One actor was decidedly off key. Nala, Rafiki and Mufassa were excellent. Am also amazed that audience members are allowed to interupt viewing by leaving during the performance and then allowed back in again. Would be nice to see the theatre strengthen policy in this area as it ruins the experience for the rest of us. I'm sure that was never the case a few years back. Was also fairly disgusted to see the state of the theatre after people had left - the floor is not a bin!

Absolutely amazing from the staff in & outside, than the performance was brilliant we loved it, as it was my first time at a theatre show. Will be booking again in the future.
