Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath with Pub Lunch in Lacock

Very fun day!

Just overall a great day that was well organized. Our guide (Zoso?) was very knowledgeable and friendly. Good mix of guided time and our own time. It was really cool to see Stonehenge, but Windsor and Bath were great as well.

A complete and interesting day

My son and I took the tour as way to see as much as possible in a day. The tour didnt disappoint as we had about an hour each at Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Bath, and Laycock. Richard, our guide, was excellent - mixing humor and information to keep the day interesting and fun. There isnt sufficient time to tour the Roman Baths, but Richard led a walking tour around the town pointing out interesting features and history. Well worth effort if you only have one day.

Great tour and great tour guide!

Steve is the best tour guide. Very informative, makes sure all of are there and no one gets to be left behind and even asked us how are we all going home because the meeting point is different from the drop off area. Cheers, Steve!

Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is closed on Monday, unforunately. Plan accordingly.. Pub lunch was great. Bath is fantastic..

Memorable Family Tour

Stonehenge tour did not disappoint! The stopovers at Bath and Windsor were as memorable. And to top it all of, the full meal at Lacock pub was delicious! Our tour guide Nicholas was very knowledgeable and even my 7-year old son had a wonderful time!

Great tour and tour guide!

This was a great choice. Our first time in London, with our 2 girls. I was a little uncertain about a tour, but Peter (the tour guide) made it an amazing day, He was funny, knowledgeable, and really went above and beyond. My only (small) complaint is that it is a lot packed into one day. Not in terms of walking, but I could have spent more time at each of the spots easily - though Peter did a great job of informing us how to get back if we wanted to, and what to see if we returned. Glad I went.

Great tour - would definitely recommend this trip.

Our tour guide Eugene kept us consistently well informed, entertained and engaged. Not and easy thing to do but he was exceptional. Eugene is very knowledgeable and makes the whole trip along with the Bus Driver a very enjoyable experience worth the costs. This was a day long trip visiting multiple sites and is a fairly short visit to most sites, but still a great value. The Pub Lunch was ok - could have been better but good. The nearby stores in Lacock specially the chocolate store next to the Pub is worth the visit with some good deals and chocolates. We were as a group on time at every venue and Eugene very politely kept reminding the group routinely. The sites visited were scenic starting with Windsor where we did have to wait a bit to get in as we arrived early at the site. A lot of history at the site but Windsor also involved a lot of waiting in lines to get into the site and then the main rooms again had queues. Stonehenge was more efficient with a well managed trip to the site and back.

Enjoyable day

The whole thing was good. We had a great driver and a great guide. Windsor and Bath are really nice. Nice to finally see Stonehenge.

Don’t Use This Tour

Tour guide left 6 of us in Lacock. Tour guide did not give us a time when to return to the bus. We had to catch a train to get back to London. I would NOT recommend this tour to anyone. A full refund to all 6 of us is most definitely in order.

Our guide made all the difference!

Our tour would be rated at 10 if we could because of our great guide, Peter! He was lively, kept the trip interesting, and filled full of great historical info. You could tell he enjoyed what he was doing. We stopped for lunch at a local pub, and he even helped serve the dishes! He certainly set the standard high. Highly recommend him!!

Fantastic Tour with an Amazing Guide and Driver

We had an amazing tour. Our tour guide Eugene was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. We learned so much about the rich history of each part of our tour. Our driver Robert was amazing as well. This was a fabulous tour! I would highly recommend!

Best tour I’ve taken so far

Peter was an excellent guide..hilarious, knowledgeable and a pretty decent singer. He kept things moving at a manageable pace as did our driver! Highly recommend doing this tour!!

London excursion

Fun day trip

Great day tour to get out of the city and see other iconic places in England. We started at Windsor, getting there right before they opened which proved to be best because the lines are insane. Not our favorite stop, but we loved going into St. George’s and seeing the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II. Stonehenge was our next stop after a 90 minute drive. So worth the time and drive out though. We didn’t feel rushed, even though we were there for just about an hour. Get ride on the shuttle bus and go out to the stones. Then come back and walk through the shop and cafe at the end if time allows. Bath was next after a 60 minute drive. Beautiful town with tons of places to shop and eat. Bridgerton fans—there’s a couple places that you’ll absolutely love seeing from the show! Lastly, was dinner or late lunch in Lacock at a pub from the 1300s. Food was pretty good, and just keep in mind they’re trying to serve and feed 60+ people all at once. Andrew our guide made sure everything went smoothly, even though we had to leave people at 2 different stops. Set an alarm on your phone for 10-15 minutes before you need to meet back at the bus! Overall, one of the highlights of our trip and we would recommend to all.

The tour was longer than...

The tour was longer than we expected. It was over a 12 hour day. The meal was advertised as lunch but it was a late supper. We would not have booked the entire tour had we know how long it would take.

Very disappointed.

Very rushed at each stop. And Bath we thought we would get to see the Roman baths. No such luck. Time to use the bathroom then back on the bus. Stores were closing very disappointed. Not worth the money. Find a trip with more time at Windsor would be better.

Experience England in a day

We, a couple and our two adult kids took the tour today w Eugene. Seeing Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath in one day by itself was a real treat but Eugene with his wit and local knowledge made the trip even more enjoyable. The lunch in the town of Lacock was very good with a wide variety of options. I would highly recommend it. Pa the driver was incredible navigating the small streets.

Fantastic but long day

This tour was a wonderful but packed day. Our tour guide Leon was knowledgeable, engaging and funny, he and our driver Ricardo are a great team. While the experience was fantastic, be prepared for a VERY long day - about 13 hours nonstop - we were struggling through the last 1/4.

Must do day trip while visiting London

Everything was exactly as advertised and our guide Leon was extremely knowledgeable and witty. We were very pleased with the ease of accessing each site and Leon’s commentary really just took the trip to another level.

Packed experience in the English countryside

This tour was amazing. Ava was awesome and our driver (I forgot his name, sorry) was outstanding. The most rewarding experiences were the things that just happened: like getting to see the Changing of the Guard at Windsor Castle; seeing Harry Potter film spots in Lacock and passing by several "murder villages" from the Midsomer Murder series. If you have limited time in England and want to see several sights, this is the tour for you. However, keep in mind, it is a taster tour. Due to the packed schedule, you will only spend a little time in each place.

Fun time exploring outside of London!

A very long day to see some amazing sights outside of London. Our tour guide, Leon, was entertaining and informational. The bus was comfortable and would recommend this trip.

Your was great, although rushed we squeezed so much into the day, well done to the tour company for moving so many of us to so many places. My only negative is the tour guide said ‘I know you’re supposed to wear seat belts on the bus but don’t’. This was to the day 12 months since the Australian bus disaster with 10 people who died when the bus tipped over, everyone fell onto the windows and dragged under the bus due to no seatbelts. Nearly every person on the bus died or was very badly injured. The tour guide was reckless in his comments, he also grabbed the driver under the neck as a joke while he was driving. Please train your guides to take safety instructions seriously.

Great out of London tour

It was a great tour to get in as much as possible in a day, including seeing the countryside. Our tour guide Eva was awesome and very informative about everything. She and the driver made it very enjoyable.

Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, Bath, Lacock

The entire day was wonderful. Eugene (tour guide) and Ricardo (driver) were excellent. We could not have had a better day!

Windsor was impressive...

Windsor was impressive with the history. Stonehenge was a tourist trap and disappointing. Lacock was a neat town with a good meal and pub. Bath was disappointing with the visit being late in the day on a Sunday and businesses became being closed.

Great tour !

The tour guide very knowledgeable. The driver is fun and friendly. One wish though. Sometimes tourists are sick when there a late. Thankfully I recovered. I came back with a angry guide. No curiosity about what happened. Just assumed I was shopping. Reality everyone shops but people also get sick. I was to embarrassed to speak up.

History never looked so beautiful! Nicholas was our guide and pointed out so many fascinating things along the way. He made suggestions to make the most of our time and the food at the pub in Lacock was outstanding!

Stonehenge

Tour guide was very knowledgeable. The bus was comfortable. Although it was a long day, my teen boys said it was one of the most fun experiences during our time in London.

Excellent Tour

We had the best time on this tour! It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of London to see another version of England. Our favorite stop was Stonehenge. It was incredible! I would highly suggest this tour! The lunch was also delicious.

A LONG But Good Day

This tour was great. You got to see so much. The one and only disappointment was that Windsor Castle is not open on certain days and we were there on one of those days. But that missed opportunity gave us extra time in the city of Bath (usually only get 1/2 hour there if you have the Windsor Castle opportunity). Bath was beautiful. Lacock was just charming. Lunch was very good (3 meal options). Stonehenge was interesting to see. Overall, a definite good tour choice.

UK’s Heritage Site

Love seeing Stonehenge and Windsor and the Pub lunch was delicious. Our tour guide Richard entertained us with lots of stories and informations about the places we’re visiting and always made sure we are ok and enjoying.

From start to finish, this tour was unforgettable! Richard, our tour guide, was outstanding! He was kind, hilarious, and had incredible knowledge about each location and the history connected to it. The tour through the countryside to get to each location was beautiful. Seeing Stonehenge, Windsor, and Bath was a breathtaking experience-I would highly recommend this tour and tour guide to absolutely anyone!

The tour was a great opportunity to see several iconic locations in one day. 1. Our Tour Guide, Eugene was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and witty and entertained us with interesting commentary throughout the tour. The audio facilities were superb and I could hear very clearly upstairs. 2. The overall organisation of the tour was excellent. We left London on time, and Eugene managed the time and large number of passengers very well. We had just enough time to see the various locations. 4. The pub lunch at Lacock village was enjoyable. 5. The tour bus was brand new and very comfortable! (Wifi should however be enabled for future tours.) 5. Our driver Florian was excellent and the drive was smooth and comfortable. In all, I recommend this tour highly to anyone who wants to see these key sites in a day in comfort.

Sooo much fun! We had an amazing time. The driver was great. The guide Richard was hilarious! We could have used more time at every stop, but that is how it always is. This was a great way to see multiple places in one day and decide if you want to come back later to spend more time. Highly recommend!!

A can’t miss tour

Steve was an unbelievable guide and brought us on one of the best if not the best tour we’ve have. He was super friendly, extremely informative, and was more than willing to answer questions. The tour itself was amazing and allowed for us to see as much as possible in the short time we had here. The driver Lii Ban was also amazing and provided and smooth and easy experience driving and was exceptional with helping load and unload my grandmother’s wheelchair. Tour was also extremely accessible for the handicapped.

A way to see it all!

We had an amazing time with our tour guide Steve and driver Lee. It was a very long day but it was totally worth it. We are from Texas so we wanted to try and see as much as possible during our trip to London because we may never get to come back and this was a great way to do it. Steve was very knowledgeable and funny. He even went around to each group at the end to make sure everyone knew how to get back to where they are staying and had a good time on the trip.

Did not go inside Windsor Castle, as the description of the tour stated it would.

Our tour guide, Steve, was fabulous and we had a good time throughout the day. He made the best of changes that were unexpected to us (like Windsor Castle being closed), and he was a very fun guide to spend the day with. HOWEVER, I am not happy that Viator sold me a tour that INCLUDED tickets inside Windsor Castle on a day that the castle is closed. For those looking at this tour, please be aware that this tour does not take you inside Windsor Castle on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, as the castle is closed on these days. Viator, I think you owe me a partial refund for promises made but not delivered. But that is not Steve’s fault, that is yours.

Excellent if you want to see a lot in a short time. It is fast paced

Ava our guide and Carlos our driver did an excellent job in getting us to all of our planned stops and proving a fun and entertaining trip to some of the UKs most treasured landmarks. We had a really great time.
