We loved seeing Stonehenge! The city of Bath was charming and our fish & chips at The Crystal Palace were the best we had during our stay in London. To be honest, the tour of the Roman Baths wasn’t as interesting as we thought it would be.

Fun day, even with young kids!

This tour is awesome! I went with my husband, mother in law, 5 year old son, and 8 year old daughter. Stonehenge was on my MIL’s bucket list. I was hesitant to do this tour with the kids. BUT I’m so glad we did it! We made so many fun memories and the kids did great even on the 2 hour bus ride there and back. Steven was our tour guide and he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and he had some great jokes! See the pic attached. Carlos was our driver and he was also great. My son absolutely loved the two level coach bus. Biggest bus we have ever been on!! The bus had a small bathroom, and was cool, comfortable and clean. It was such a fun day, we had a blast! If your not sure if you should go, book it you will be glad you did!

Worth it

We took tour 8 to Stonehenge and Bath. The experience was lovely. Our guide Steve was really good, his knowledge was detailed but NOT boring, he did not rush us but made sure we were all on time. Thanks to him, we could almost visualise what it would have been like back then (at historic places). He was kind enough to do a bit of a walking tour of certain parts of Bath. The walking tour wasn’t mentioned in the package but he was kind enough to take us all around. Special mention to our driver Carlos! He got us everywhere on time and the drive is looong!

Comfortable and Informative tour

This tour experience has been great with the wonderful tour guide Steve who is full of humour and knowledge about history. The bus was so smooth and excellent in condition with excellent sound system. Completely hassle-free journey with good time keeping.

Great day trip!

This was a great day trip. Just enough time at Stonehenge, but Bath is quick! Would love to go back and spend more time. Steve, our tour guide was absolutely fantastic! He made the day so enjoyable. Carlos our driver was wonderful as well - they are quite the duo! All in all, a day well-spent outside of the city, exploring part of the beautiful English countryside.

Fabulous day trip

We had a fabulous tour to Stonehenge and Bath. Steve and Carlos were awesome! We enjoyed the informative and humorous commentary during the drive and everything was clear and organized.

Wwll worth it!!!

The entire tour was excellent. Steven kept everything going and gave us tons of information. Our driver Carlos did a wonderful job getting us back and forth in a double decker buss.

Best Tour We Have Ever Done!

Steve and Carlos!!!!!!!!! Best Double-Decker Dynamic Duo in the UK! Had the best time and learnt so much. This tour is perfect if you want to spend some free time in each location. Steve’s knowledge and dulcet tones made the drive very enjoyable. 10/10 recommend.

Great

Stonehenge was more impressive than I expected. Just beautiful. Wish there was more information and historical info about it. Our guide Zuzu (I think was his name) was amazing! Funny and knowledgeable and just great. He really added to our enjoyment of the excursion.

Amazing

Our tour guide John was AMAZING along with the bus driver this tour was breath taking and I recommend it.

Great day trip

Well organized and informative. Steve was a great guide, friendly and knowledgeable. The trip was relaxed but not too much wait time. Driver was skillful and safe. Buses clean but no wifi if that is important to you.

Excellent tour of Bath and Stonehenge

Steve was brilliant. Very witty and knowledgeable. Carlos was an excellent driver. We were in good hands with their combined effort.

Good value for time & money

Good value for money & time. Steve and Carlos were on time, organized, focused on the task of getting us to see Stonehenge and Bath. The bus was prompt, there was good commentary along the way.

Excellent Tour for Stonehenge and Bath

Great tour! Would recommend to anyone wanting to see Stonehenge and Bath from London. Steve was a great tour guide and provided a lot of great information. You didn’t feel rushed at all on this tour.

Great for solo travellers

This tour was very organized and the tour guide (Steve) and bus driver (Charles?) was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a solo traveller as it’s very organized

Excellent driver and wonderful guide!!

I've been on the tour 3 times now and John was easily the best guide I've seen: very cultured, funny and extremely attentive to the entire group. We went to Stonehenge in the morning then Bath, did the walking tour with John before heading to the Roman Baths. Had a bun at Sally Lunn's as recommended and a soft serve to end the day. Couldn't be happier with our day, it was my dad's first time visiting England and he had a blast!

Fun, informative, well paced visit to Stonehenge and Bath

Fun, informative experience with Steve and Carlos. All ran smoothly at a flexible pace. Stonehenge and Bath are both excellent destinations, giving us a reason to plan a stay in the region. Steve was a great guide with a treasure trove of stories, anecdotes and facts!

Great Trip to Stonehenge and Bath

Badly planned

The locations are wonderful and our guide was great. We received a great road tour along the way and the walking tour of Bath was full of cool sites. Our guide took pictures for people which was lovely. This trip was not planned well. There was only about 30 minutes to eat in Bath before going in to the Roman Bath House, with another 30 minutes afterwards before needing to get back on the bus. It’s not enough time to eat. Our particular day had another major issue - the bus returned us to London four hours late due to a planned road closure on the M4. How did the travel company not know this would happen and route the busses around it? By the time we got back to London it was 23:30 but it was an hour later before we got back to our flat. The exhaustion ruined the next day for us. The travel guide did the best he could given the circumstances, but four extra hours on the bus (due to bad planning by the travel company) was just too much. Ultimately, this excursion had two serious planning problems which made for a less than ideal experience.

Lots to see!

This was a really great day out. The guide was charming and quirky, offering interesting commentary on the bus ride, and we saw some fantastic sights. A few more minutes at Stonehenge would have been good, as that part felt a tad rushed, but a certain degree of that is to be expected when you fit so much into the one day. Overall, was a memorable experience, and would definitely do again.

Terrible Bus experience!

Absolutely terrible! Currently sitting at a McDonalds at 10 pm after spending 5 hours in traffic in our bus due to the fact our driver and tour guide decided to put us on a closed freeway. We are now waiting 40 minutes for a replacement driver since ours cannot drive any longer due to overtime issues. We’re still 1.5 -2 hours away from London. Incredible. We should all get our money back. 🤬

It’s a bus ride, then you’re on your own.

This was a fairly comfortable bus ride to Stonehenge and Bath. It wasn’t much of a tour. We got some info on London history on the way out of town. Stonehenge is on your own with an app, which they don’t tell you to download until you’re on the bus without WiFi and you probably won’t have your earbuds since you won’t know this ahead of time. Bath was also mostly on our own because we booked the Jane Austen experience which is just the tour guide handing you tickets and showing you where it is. There was a walking tour in Bath, but the guide walked really fast and made us all hike up a hill with zero info on the way up so we decided to go on our own. We didn’t book a hike, and if there wasn’t going to be a *guided* tour, there was no point. If you’re an Austen fan, the JA experience is very interesting, and Bath has lots of shops and restaurants to visit. Technically you could do all this on your own. It was nice not to have to figure out our own way with trains and buses, but I’m not sure it’s worth the price.

Wonderful Day Touring

Very comfortable and clean double-decker bus. John, our guide, was extremely informative and friendly. Both sights were amazing - with plenty of time to explore both locations. Be prepared for a long day - but well worth it. John also pointed out places of interest along the way during our 2-hour bus trip. Heads up - upon arrival back in London, we were dropped off at Gloucester Road Underground Station - so you can be prepared to go on to your final destination. Perfect for us as we were one-stop away from our hotel.

Sampling history

We really loved this tour. Our guide Alan was informative and fun, with a great sense of humor. I'm glad we only did the tour with 2 stops instead of 3 because I feel like I would have loved to have more time in each spot, not that I needed a tour over 12 hours. Stonehenge is great to see the mysterious artifact from history. Bath is beautiful and so much bigger than I ever imagined. The Roman Bath House was a phenomenal look back into how advanced the Romans really were for the accomplishments of their time. I highly recommend this tour and all of my party of 7 had similar sentiments.

Highly recommend this tour of Stonehenge and Bath

We took this tour in May with Clive and Miguel. This could not have been a better tour! Clive and Miguel were a joy to travel with. They were kind, courteous, fun and funny. I learned so much from Clive (and he does look a bit like Michael Caine). The double decker bus was very comfortable and the tour was very well planned out. Stonehenge was amazing and we had the perfect amount of time there. Bath was beautiful. We did not do the tour of the Roman Baths, but opted to walk around town on our own. The only negative thing I have to say is that the bus dropped us in a different location than pick-up. It was all fine really as Clive was helpful in pointing out all of the different transportation options. I would 100% recommend this tour with Clive and Miguel.

Stonehenge/Bath tour

Great trip. Lisa was an excellent tour guide with a wealth of knowledge and Miguel was fantastic as our driver.

Absolutely fabulous tour!

This was the best tour we did while in London for the baseball games! Steve was terrific as was our bus driver Lleban! Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a fabulous tour. Great meal in Lacock too!!

Good day trip!

Really loved seeing Stonehenge and Bath! Both absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed the host and driver Lisa and Miguel. Lisa was kind and helpful, and Miguel was hilarious! The coach was comfortable and beautiful views. I wish there was more time at the stops, I felt a bit rushed, but that was no error to the tour, the short amount was the timing of it all and as much as they could possibly fit in for the whole day. Overall I think it’s a great tour and had an awesome day, but dont expect to have a ton of time to read and see everything at the sites if you are one who wants to really soak everything in.

Lisa and Miguel are awesome!

Tour was easy to find at Victoria Station in London. The tour guide Lisa and the driver Miguel were very friendly and knowledgeable. Only suggestion is they extend the hours of the tour, as the time in Stonehenge felt short. Loved walking around Bath and enjoyed the food suggestions from Lisa.

Excellent guide and wonderful time

Our guide Allan was absolutely phenomenal. He told us many stories of the sites we've visited and provided us tips for navigating around London. Loved the city of Bath. Would 100% recommend.

We hate the Mets!

Tom our tour guide was very funny and made the two hour bus ride very doable. Honestly, we were concerned about the two hour drive, but it went by very quickly and was very educational. Tom new when to be quiet and when to talk, a nice balance. Once we arrived, you had a choice to continue with Tom or go on your own around Bath. We met back up at a certain time to do the Roman Bath. That was are favorite part of the trip. We plan on going back because we loved it so much! A must do for sure!

Wonderful, succinct tour with a great guide and driver

Stefan was a great guide and Nathan was a wonderful driver! They were both very accommodating and knowledgeable. The bus was very clean with a convenient bathroom. Both sites were spectacular. I would have loved to spend more time in Bath. What a quaint town.

Disappointed

The trip ended up being little more than a bus ride and entry tickets to Stonehenge and the Roman Baths. Our guide was friendly and offered some interesting stories as we left London but not too much else throughout the trip. There was supposed to be a walking tour in Bath and the guide took off before the top level of the bus had even exited. Plus, it said a maximum of 75 people would be on the tour and there was many more than that which may the walking tour unmanageable. Further, the tour boarded at 8a and there was no break in itinerary for lunch until 4p. After the long ride to Stonehenge, there was not even a bathroom break before the guide herded us to the shuttle. The guide offered very little info on Stonehenge and Bath themselves which was odd to us- felt more like transpo and entrances rather than guided tour. Also, we picked this one because it mentioned a stop for Jane Austen which we did not get. On plus side, we arrived safely, and the bus was comfortable (although it did have some mechanical issues on way back). We learned some interesting tidbits from the guide - but not much info about Stonehenge and Bath which was disappointing and not as expected - plus didn't feel we received all that was advertised in the description.

2024 tour of Stonehenge and Bath

I loved Stonehenge it was great seeing it in person. Bath was amazing also. The Roman Bath was a spa with a cold plunge, sauna, hot bath. So interesting that they knew to have a cold bath to help reset there body system.

Perfect day!

Fantastic outing! Fully enjoyed our guide’s commentary and fun personality- thank you, Nicholas! Stonehenge was very cool. Crowded in June, but still able to get photos without people in the background! Bath was mind blowing! Possibly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. Could have spent a few days there, but our guide was diligent before we took off on our own and walked us to several must-see locations so that we could decide what we wanted to do with our time. Can’t stress how beautiful the countryside is. This was a really really great day! Fully recommend this tour.

Amazing trip

The tours were great. Loved our Tourguide John. Only issue was the coach. Would’ve liked Wi-Fi and the ability to charge my phone as it was a long trip.

Excellent day trip and guide (Nicholas)

A great day trip. Pleasantly surprised by the beautiful city of Bath, fascinating Roman Baths with excellent museum, followed by the drive through the lovely Cotswolds to Lacock and then on to Stonehenge. Our guide, Nicholas, could not have done a better job. Funny, upbeat, helpful, and full of interesting historical knowledge and excellent tourist tips. Would love to have him on a future tour!

Leon was an amazing guide!!! Also a lot of tours feel rushed & this one did not at all. I enjoyed every second of it. 10/10.

Great experience and tour

I was on Tour 8 to Stonehenge and Bath and both Clive and Leban were great guides. I appreciate Clive sharing history about each location and both helped to ensure we made it to our sites and hotels/dinner after.

Great experience!

Amazing locations — both Stonehenge and Bath were incredible. Our tour guide was amazing and made sure that we knew where we were going and directed us to independently owned shops vs chains. Overall a great experience.

This tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our tour guide was hilarious and extremely informative. He was a wealth of info on the way to Stonehenge and Bath, and on the way back. We are so glad we booked this tour rather than doing it on our own. We would have missed out on so much of the rich history of these sites.

Bath is the highlight

The tour was very good and our guide was excellent. I enjoyed the free time we had in Bath. I do wish Stonehenge was about 30 minutes longer to see the indoor exhibition. But overall a great tour that got us back right at sunset.

Great Tour

This tour was really good. We did not feel rushed at either Bath or at Stonehenge. Clive, our tour director, was knowledgeable and congenial. We would definitely recommend this to others.

Not so good

Missed the bus by two mins and no money refunded .traffic bad. Not so good trip. But good weather. Hooray
