Chris was very knowledgeable and was eager to tell the most minute details about the history of London. You can tell he's passionate about what he does. Communication all the way up until the day of the tour was good as well. The tour is definitely a little pricey for just one person so I would recommend to go as a group.

Perfect London Tour

Anthony was a fantastic tour guide and story teller. We booked this tour early in our trip and Anthony gave us a long list of must-see sites. He also takes great pictures😊

A great start to our trip!

We met Anthony at Noon on our first full day in London and greatly enjoyed the 90 minute walking tour. Anthony had tons of great stories to share, tips of what to see and do, gave us a historical overview of some of the city's top take in's, and was a truly wonderful guide. He was fun and incredibly knowledgeable, and I can't recommend this walk enough. It was worth every penny (or pound!) spent, and I would absolutely do it again. Add this to your list of must do's, you won't regret it!

A great first day!

It’s our first trip to London. Anthony did a great job of introducing our group to the city! There were six of us of all ages (ages 13-73!), and he kept us all engaged with his stories and helpful tips. We would definitely book again!

River Views and Government Buildings

We enjoyed our time walking with Chris. He provided a mix of information about the development of London as a city, from public works to architecture. The tour focused on sights along the Thames and the Houses of Parliament. We ended at Trafalgar Square with great recommendations on things to do for the rest of our visit.

Spent too much time...

Spent too much time asking about my visit instead of telling us about London. Seemed too shy to talk while I am taking photographs of the places we are touring. Tour seemed less informative for the price we paid.

Amazing Tour

We loved the tour!! Sophie was very knowledgeable, friendly, and awesome! She took the time to answer all our questions and even had great advice, tips, and suggestions for the rest of our trip. 11 out of 10!!

2019 October wonderful London tour

(Actual Date Oct 2019) Due to a missed flight connection at Gatwick while heading to USA from Prague, my wife and I decided to spend a few days touring London. Since it was our first time, and we had previously had great experience with WithLocals in Central Europe, we logged on and were lucky to find Andreea available the next day. We explained our interests and she responded that we'd go off the standard walk plan a bit to focus on our requests. From the Barbican we proceeded to tour historic London as well as the new London - this city has done very well at integrating widely varying architecture. During the walk, Andreea told us much about London's history as well as current events and was able to answer our questions too. We used the information to plan our next few days of touring on our own - we couldn't have planned it so well without Andreea's advice. Near the end of our walk I noticed Andreea on her phone, apparently texting. But no! She was actually researching our request for good quality fish & chips, and we seamlessly ended our tour a a pub near Leicester Square where the lunch was just what we'd asked for.

On tour with a new friend

Our tour with Sorcha was wonderful. She brings her personal perspective along with attitude which is refreshing. The day was a bit cold and, when she learned that my teens love chocolate, we made our way to a shop serving the best hot chocolate that we have ever had. Sorcha not only showed us the highlights but told us the stories behind them in a way that brought them to life. We certainly felt like friends enjoying the sights with our local, Sorcha.

Personal and sincere

Sorcha put together an excellent day for my family (2 adults and 2 young kids). She was accommodating and really took great care of the kids. We spent almost 8 hours together exploring London and covered quite a lot. Thank you again Sorcha. You are awesome!

Great experience, wonderful host!

Me and my friends met Dimona in a part of the city, where we probably would've never ended up as a tourist, far from the typical touristy attractions. And this was great. He was friendly, flexible, picked us up, since we got a bit lost ;-) He asked us about our preferences, and when he found out we are also into food and sweets, he adjusted his tour to it. So... we saw interesting and really pretty street art, even his and his groups´s art, additionally he took us to a great bakery with wonderful cakes and we could try a salty beef and pickle bagel in the oldest bagelshop of the district. And the chocolateshop...., here he showed real patience with us. It was delicious. We enjoyed the tour of this young artist very much. Thank you again D!

Great tour!

Chris gave us the best welcome ever to London! He was funny, super accommodating and caring! The day of our tour I wasn't feeling well and he actually messaged me the next day to see how I was feeling! He even helped me find a doctor when I needed it. Chris went above and beyond a regular Tour Guide I feel like Ive made a friend! I would recommend Chris 1000 times over. Truly a great guy!

Amazing tour with a great guide!

We did this tour on our first afternoon in London. It is a great tour to see multiple areas of London and hear some nice facts about the city and certain buildings. The tour was a great combination of seeing some famous sights like the house of parliament, but also seeing some spots you won't visit by yourself. Luciana really took her time with us and adapted the tour a bit according to what we prefered to see. Even after the tour, Luciana was extremely helpful. She shared some ideas with us for things to do during the other days of our stay. I really recommend this tour for everyone visiting London, even if it's not for the first time!

Perfect morning in London

The morning with Luciana was at the perfect way to begin our trip in London! She planned a wonderful 3 hour walking tour for my daughter and I and we saw many of the London sights. She was pleasant, positive and you could tell loved her city! I communicated with her prior to and after our tour and she was always quick to answer any questions I had! Great 90 minute tour!

Javid was a great guide! We learned so many little details about the various sights. Javid was extremely knowledgeable about London, and his love of the city shows in his tour. He also took quite a few photos of us in front of the various sights. Really wish we'd had more time!

90min London tour

Javid was a fantastic guide. He followed up with me with pointers before and after the tour by text message. He was very informative and you could tell he was a local and loved his city. We got to pop in a couple of art museums that we didn't know would be on the tour. My wife is an art professor and absolutely loved that. We got all the highlights and had great conversation.

Luciana was a delight!

We recently enjoyed an excellent walking tour of London with Luciana. Prior to the tour, she was extremely responsive to our questions and logistical concerns about where and when to meet. On the day of the tour, she was on time, ready to go, and had a great route planned for us. Javid was great!

Javid was amazing. He actually met us at our hotel since we were uncomfortable with the public transportation. He asked us what we wanted and went above and beyond to meet our desires and needs. He was very friendly and informative and went way beyond the 90 minutes without any additional charge. He also escorted us back to our hotel to make sure we'd get back promptly. He also helped us with questions we had the next 2 days via text messages. We give him the highest rating possible and then some.

Very nice concept!

Leuk concept! Voor ons vertrek kon ik al vragen stellen aan Luciana. Ze gaf telkens een uitgebreid antwoord. Tijdens de rondleiding was ze heel duidelijk. We hoorden anekdotes die je niet in de boekjes vindt. Na de rondleiding kregen we nog een mail met de tips (suggesties van bezienswaardigheden) die we onderweg hadden gekregen. Heel handig! Echt een aanrader!
