Wonderful Tour

The Tour Guide and the Bus Driver, extremely Helpful with My Wheelchair and assisting Me to get the Most out of the Tour, with My Limitations. Love Warwick Castle, the Tour of Stratford on the Avon, the Drive Through the Cotswolds, but it started Raining, at Oxford and I went Shopping and had Tea at A Nice Hotel. Two Thumbs Up for the Tour

Costwold's Tour

Great experience, Danxia was knowledgeable about the stops on the tour and made it a fun day. Ashley, the bus driver was friendly and got us around. The sights were absolutely beautiful.

Skip the bus tour and go on your own

I would not recommend this tour company to my worst enemy! Never having been to London, the coach station was a bit confusing. We booked through Viator and as a result there were mismatched directions about where to go and at what time; we called the tour company to explain that we were THREE minutes late to which we received 0 sympathy or understanding. The bus took off despite knowing that it was missing 2 ticketed passengers, and the employees at the counter were beyond incompetent and rude, frankly. We asked if it was normal business practice to take off without paying customers without so much as a phone call to which the man said “we have too many lists.” Oh, ok! The simplest and kindest option would have been to rebook us on the following day, but they refused to offer any help unless we paid! There is a reason this tour is not amongst the first search results when traveling to London, so trust that. We wound up paying to be rescheduled and the tour itself was honestly not worth it. You get less than 90 minutes total at each spot which is not enough time to do hardly anything. You’d be better off doing separate day trips to the locations of your choice to truly make the most of the time.

Solo day trip

Loved the tour! Eduardo and Oliver made sure we were able to enjoy everything despite having problems due to traffic. Would definitely do a tour again to a different destination!

Oliver and Eduardo, Exceptional Guide and Driver

Oliver and Eduardo are professional, helpful and friendly. Oliver shared historical background about our tour areas that we would not have gotten otherwise. The bus was clean and comfortable, we did pay extra $ for the upgrade so we: sat up front in comfortable seats. Would recommend.

Nice tour

The Warwick castle wa a lot of fun. Visiting the oldest pub in Oxford the bear inn was great. Our guide Regina was very knowledgeable and helpful

Enlightening!

Shakespeare's birthplace was the best attraction of this tour. I love history so this part was fascinating.

Maybe skip this one unless you do not want time to enjoy and explore

Our guide, Stefan, was a delight. He was funny, knowledgeable, knew history, and had great commentary without going over the top. Warwick Castle was a letdown after being there 25 years ago before it was turned into a theme park. To me, it has lost its charm. Stratford upon Avon is a darling town, although again such a tourist hype. There was very little time to explore the old town or walk along the Stratford upon Avon. It was interesting to see Shakespeare‘s birthplace, but wish there was a little more time to explore the city. The Cotswolds are beautiful but dont blink! Oxford was fascinating. Loved all the info from Stefan. No time to explore but saw the highlights. Our driver Tony was exceptional!

Day Trip to Warwick castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford

Ana the guide and Kirin the driver both were excellent. Each stop was interesting and it wasn't rushed.

Pleasant

Stefan the guide was good , knowledgeable and very funny and did the tour in a nice humor way..only negative was that he did not carry a flag or a sign and we were a big group that was not always easy to find him.. also there were no device to be able to hear him so we must have find a way to be close to be able to hear.. Dan the driver was good..also i suggest not to get all the cities in one tour as you dnt get enough time to enjoy rather you keep rushing around..

Oxford and Stratford!

Regina was amazing! Very informative, knowledgeable and responsive to questions. A pleasure to spend the day with!. We really enjoyed Oxford and Stratford upon Avon. Beautiful views of the countryside.

Warwick Castle experience

Steffen and Tony were the best so nice so helpful. Very informative and made our first tour experience one to remember. Everything was on time there were no hiccups. They had the whole group under control. She was also quite funny. We appreciate the sense of humor. It made the trip even more enjoyable. They also her very approachable never felt bad asking questions. thank you, Steffen and Tony for a great day👏🏻

Zozo is the best tour guide!

Our original tour in the Cotswolds was cancelled the night before we were supposed to go. Golden Tours contacted us and offered this tour as a substitution. At first we were disappointed, but in the end we can’t imagine the day could have been any more perfect. This was due to our wonderful tour guide, Zozo, who made the day so fun and informative. He provided historical facts, information about London architecture and neighborhoods, information about each stop prior to getting there, and basically had us laughing with his jokes and quips the whole day. We appreciated that we were given choice when we arrived at each stop to stay with the guide for further narration or go off on our own and meet up later. He also did a great job keeping us on track to make the best use of our time at each location. Our bus driver was also safe and very personable making sure we rode comfortably. All-in-all, this day trip was a definite highlight of our European vacation and we would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like a day outside of the city to visit three fun places!

No Mercy

The tour was nice. I enjoyed all the stops. Would like to have had more time. What upset me was at the last stop a young woman and her young son could not find the bus and was getting left. The driver did not even wait 5 extra minutes before pulling off. Thankfully a couple of blocks down someone on the bus saw them and I felt like they reluctantly pulled over after the man that found them was trying to open the door of the bus to help them. The driver and the tour guide had no mercy for them. I think most everyone on the bus didn’t want to leave without them and was relieved when they were found.

Excellent tour

Oxford University, Warwick castle, drive through Cotswold was breathtaking. Ana was excellent, even the driver Armando was very good. Time management was excellent.

It wasn’t what we thought it would be

Anna and Armand were absolutely fantastic. Anna has so much knowledge and she shared that with us. Unfortunately, had we known that Warwick Castle was more of an area for kids or families with kids we would have opted for a different tour. The displays in the castle were great, but it just wasn’t what we Thought it would be. Shakespeare’s home was interesting and the town was delightful but once again there was not enough time to explore the town.

Meeting Shakespeare

I would recommend this trip to those who are in London for short time and wish to visit as much as they could. Covering three different tourist place in an excellent time bound duration is commendable. P.s - reach the meeting point before time otherwise would be left .

Well worth it

Excellent day out combining the tranquility of the Cotswolds with the village charm of Stratford (note: riverside market on Sunday), the weird blend of history and kitsch of Warwick castle and the academic historicity of Oxford. Hats off to guide Stefan and driver Dan, it was a full days trip but they got us going on time, got us back on time, didn’t lose anyone, and were affable and informative throughout. Overall, the trip gave us what we were looking for, a quick taste of England beyond London. We’d have loved to spend more time in each location, especially Oxford, so we’ll do that next time. A word to the wise: don’t try to run the ramparts of Warwick castle 5 minutes before your bus is due to leave. There’s an awful lot of steps, they’re narrow and steep and it’s one way only - no going back. The view from the top is great though.

Wonderful trip to southern English countryside

Amazing trip with the guide Stefan and driver Dan. They brought us safely and effectively to Warwick Castle, Stratford upon Avon, Cotswolds and Oxford. Stefan was very knowledgeable on the history and was a good sport - was trying to keep us organised and our morales up with jokes. The journey even in bus was enjoyable thanks to his recounting of local area points of interest and history. Dan was a great driver - he and Stefan both communicated clearly leaving times and as result all the group knew precisely when and where to return back to the bus at each stop along thr journey. I loved the trip had an amazing time seeing the castle, walking around Stratford and Oxford - the latter of which Stefan gave a great walking tour. Would recommend to book this trip 👌

Day tour at Oxford, Warwick castle and Stratford with Golden Tours

We pre-booked this tour from India. It started exactly on-time. Our tour guide was Stephan, who is really very entertaining guide. He was very witty, funny throughout the tour and guided us properly about all the places, especially Oxford university. We covered Warwick castle, Stratford (William Shakespeare's birth place) and Oxford. It was a full day tour, but we enjoyed every minute. Enough time was given at each place. Our driver Dan was very punctual about time and is a very safe driver. I would definitely rate Stephan and Dan's team a 5 out of 5 and the overall tour too is highly recommended.

Nice places and great service

Joined Warwick castle, Shakespeare and Oxford tour with guide Regina and driver Sanjeevan. Very good experience. Enough time at each place. They also provided rain coat. Regina provided good service, she’s funny, gave interesting background information and clear instructions. Sanjeevan drove smoothly even in the heavy rain. Will recommend this tour to my family and friends!

A.very nice tour though short on time. Sanjivan and Lucian were great host and conducted the tour impeccably with diverse knowledge of history and events. The ride was comfortable and safe too

Disappointing day

Although advertised as a luxury coach, transport was in fact a very small coach cramped and uncomfortable. The whole trip felt rushed with little time to enjoy each stop. A walking tour of Oxford was promised but our guide set off at such a pace that in this crowded city several of our group completely lost site of him and had to locate colleges and other places of interest independently. On the whole a disappointing day.

Great experience for a quick visit to Warwick Castle, Stratford and Oxford

Stefan our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable about a broad range of topics, even throwing in quite a few dad jokes which were mildly amusing:) The trip was a good way to see these places if you are short on time. You get a great overview of Stratford and Oxford. There was plenty of time to see Warwick Castle. Mario, our driver, did an excellent job driving us through some pretty villages in the Cotswolds as well. It was a great way to see a lot of places in a day. I would highly recommend it.

Great tour

Great, informative Tour leader. Good driver! Oscar was a great and informative Tour Guide. Sanjeev was smooth and knowledgeable driver. Warwick was fabulous, Stratford was very interesting and Oxford was quite magically.

Thorough and on time tour

Regina and Ferhat took us around for a sunny day. Regina was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a very good time at Warwick Castle, in particular. The only criticism in the fact that our original tour was cancelled but we never got an email about it (booked via Viator). However, I will commend the team for exchanging our tickets for a near-identical tour on the same day, so we still got to enjoy our day.

Warwick Castle and Oxford was great, but didn’t see cottages

The Warwick Castle was amazing and the tour of Oxford was spectacular. However, we didn’t see any cottages. We paid to see Cottsworth, but we drove through it like there was nothing to see. Very disappointed.

Fun and informative day trip.

Regina and James were so professional and knowledgeable. The only issue was something out of their control, the traffic. We had to reroute and change the order of the itinerary. We had to rush a bit at Oxford. They made the change seamlessly.

Great tour to Oxford, Warwick and Cotswolds

Had a great time with the Golden tours. Our tour guide Regina and captain Jim were amazing and had a great knowledge about places and history with some amazing driving skills. Overall a smooth bus ride tour.

Stratford, Oxford...

It was a great Tour! We had a lot of time to explore every stop and Oscar gave us a lot of very interesting insights into Britain's History. Thank you Oscar and Nathan for a safe and fantastic Tour!

Be aware of tourists trap!

The tour itself was not bad, but the company engaged in dishonest practices, attempting to extract additional payments from tourists for items already included in the standard price. During our excursion to Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Warwick Castle from London, the company initially charged £78 for the tour, excluding entry tickets to Shakespeare's birthplace or Warwick Castle. Alternatively, they offered a package priced at over £105, which purportedly included entry tickets to both attractions. However, upon arrival at these attractions, all members of our tour group, even those who hadn't purchased the entry tickets, were granted access without any additional payment. Surprisingly, when one of the women who hadn't paid for the entry ticket inquired about purchasing one, the tour guide merely shook her head and gestured for her to proceed into the attraction. It became evident that there was no requirement to pay extra for entry. These deceptive tactics employed by the company to extract money from tourists are not only unethical but also illegal. Despite my request for a refund of the nearly £60 overcharge for the two tickets, after the tour, the company adamantly refused. This company is the operator for similar tours advertised on platforms like TripAdvisor, Viator, and GetYourGuide. Exercise caution when considering booking with them

Great day trip from London with a great tour guide!

Really enjoyed exploring other parts of England outside of London on this day trip. The guide was fantastic & provided a lot of history & stories. It was a long day…10 hours, but the coach bus was very comfortable in between stops & the ride back to take naps. Our tour was 4/29/24 & it was very breezy & chilly, I think it was 53 degrees. Just FYI…Warwick Castle is not heated so it was very chilly.

Very good value for money day out

An extremely good tour. The hostess (Regina) was phenomenally knowledgeable which added tremendously to the visit. I’m from the uk but learned a lot! She and the driver (James) made the tour a really nice experience, they were so helpful. We got to see a great deal but didn’t feel rushed at all. Full marks!

Excellent option for a day trip from London

Excellent places to visit on a one day trip from London. The Warwick castle was exceptionally well displayed, beautiful gardens and medieval city. Then Stratford is a cute little town, and Oxford was breathtaking. Pablo our guide was super knowledgeable and funny. Kee our driver was excellent as well. Highly recommend this day trip. It is long but didn’t feel tiring or boring. Bus was clean and comfortable.

A Vacation Highlight and Nice Break from London

Fun, very informative, wonderful scenery, combined history with clear, humorous narration by our superb tour guide Pablo. Safe, comfortable driver Ferlan did a great job. This trip was a highlight of our vacation. Highly recommended for sure.

See a lot in one day. Would recommend

Great guide and driver. Beautiful and very interactive castle. Knowledgeable staff at Shakespeare's House. Good value for money on this tour. A big shout out to our guide Oscar and driver Nathan. Both did extremely well. Nathan was all smiles, whilst managing to squeeze that giant tour bus through cramped spaces. He brought such a positive energy to the trip. I am personally a bit of a history buff, but still Oscar managed to tell me several interesting things, I didn't know. It was a lovely tour, and I enjoyed it. The reason why I haven't given it 5 stars is: 1) not enough time at Warwick Castle. It is a very interactive experience, but we had to rush through it. And I had to skip several things. At least 2 hours is needed. 2) way too much time at Stratford upon Avon. If you don't want to eat lunch at a restaurant, you will find yourself with nothing to do for 40+ minutes. That time would have been much better spent at Warwick or in Oxford. 3) I says Cotswolds on the description, but the bus doesn't actually stop there. The bus is too big for the small roads. So technically you pass through an area that belongs to the Cotswolds, but you don't get to see any of the picturesque house etc.

Great Experience!

This day trip was well worth the money! The attractions were well-paced and I never felt rushed. Guide Regina did a wonderful job informing the group about the area’s history and sights. Driver Jim made sure we got everywhere on time! I highly recommend this tour, I got to see things I would’ve otherwise looked over, such as Warwick Castle. Thank you!

Lots of fun and history

We really enjoyed the tour, the places were amazing and really beautiful, stunning Warwick castle, Shakespeare birthplace and village, cotswolds beautiful country side and houses and mesmerising Oxford. Also our guide Stefan was very knowledgeable, entertaining and funny, great sense of British humor, which made the tour even more fun!

Great tour, great guide and driver as well!

Fantastic tour! Just got done today with guide Pablo and driver Nathan. Firstly the tour was very good, quite a few things to see but we felt like we got just enough time everywhere. would have preferred a bit more time in Stratford to see the town but this is a small quibble. Pablo is very knowledgeable and was very generous with his information sharing. Nathan was a very good driver as well. both are very friendly. I would highly recommend this tour to any one.
