Great tips for navigating the tube and loved the Bourough recommendation. Super helpful and assisted us in finding umbrellas in the rain. Wish there was a little more history knowledge rather than using Google.

DELIA: Best guide for walking London

The tour was wonderful because the Delia was wonderful. She is knowledgeable and personable, a delightful guide in every way. From Parliament to Buckingham Palace to St. James's Park, we learned a lot and saw a lot. This is a four hour walk and ours came directly after getting through an 8 hour plane ride. Delia made rhe walk worth every step. From 10 Downing St to the Churchill War Rooms to The City, we saw a l lot but Delia let us know it was just the beginning. Would do it again but only with Delia.

Fabulous Tour

Ana Maria was a fabulous tour guide! She made sure to ask what we wanted to see before we left. She gave us helpful tips about the city and took us to several hidden gems. She even sent us information about how to find other things we were interested in seeing. We had a great time on our tour, and we loved that it was tailored to what we wanted to see and do.

Wonderful introduction to London!

That's so hard to say as there was so much! But our tour guide Nikki certainly added more that just knowledge to our visit. Her enjoyment of showing off the iconic sites was palpable and her friendly way was a joy.

Tom truly rocked it!

Tom was excellent.....witty, great company, good content, interesting tid bits over and above the very interesting history of everything we saw....he truly went way beyond to ensure we get a great feel of London. And we did. Truly worth it....am glad I booked this!

Tom is an excellent guide who provided us great information, awesome stories of London, and was super engaging with our kids 12 and 9. Perfect morning walk through London

Becky was an absolute delight, she was extremely knowledgeable and was able to adjust our tour on the fly based on our interests. Couldn’t recommend this walk enough. Make sure to bring your walking shoes, we went ~5.5miles!

Had a great personalized walking tour through London. Maria picked us up from our hotel and took us all around. Bea was simply the best tour guide we ever had!

We spent the day with a lovely woman named Bea. She was honestly the best tour guide we ever had. She catered to our every desire in what we wanted to see. She took us to a lovely little cafe for lunch as well and it was some of the best food we had. Bea was so knowledgeable and friendly and we learned so much about London. Bea is the type of tour guide that I would want as a good friend if I lived here! She never made us feel rushed and made sure to pack in everything we wanted to see. Thank you Bea!

Everyone should do this the first day they are in London.

Let me start by thanking Naomi for being a wonderful and experienced guide. She was so welcoming and kind to us. We trekked to all the places we wanted to see and then some, even some secret spots. This would be so helpful for someone new to the city or just wanting some inside experience.

This was a walking tour

Our guide, David, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. The sites we saw were marvelous. However, the original tour description was misleading. The photo with the ad showed a tour guide in front of a car. Our guide had no car and it was essentially a walking tour, with a few short bus trips. My husband has cancer and can walk only short distances. Although we bought an 8-hour tour, we had to leave after 3 hours because my husband couldn't do any more walking.

A wonderful introduction to London!

We had an amazing day with Becky! She customized the tour to our interests, and showed us many unique and interesting spots in London that I am sure we never would have seen in a tour group. We covered many areas if the city, from Westminster Abbey to Soho, but at our own pace. Becky was just delightful and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour!

It was a fantastic...

It was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Astrid, was very knowledgeable! Showed us details that we would never see on our own. We even went inside the courthouse! Best 4 hours we spent wondering around and sightseeing by foot! We definitely recommend the tour and our guide!

Great overview tour.

We loved our tour with Sandro, he gave us a great overview of the London sites. We saw Big Ben, 10 Downing, Buckingham Palace and sites around. We ended near China Town where we got a bite to eat.

1/2 day tour of London

We were in London for 1 day and decided to book a 1/2 tour for sightseeing. Our tour guide Giuseppe was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the historical sites of London. We ended our tour feeling as if we'd seen the entire city. If you're looking to book a London tour, then Giuseppe is a must!

Memorable London discovery with kids!

Fantastic tour. The guide was incredibly patient with kids and captured them with royal stories! We saw all the main attractions in 4 hours of tour so we got totally in the London mood thanks to this tour

Favorite tour

This was my favorite tour of our entire Eurotrip. Naomi was amazing. She took us to the main tourist and also non-tourist stops. She customized the itinerary based on what we wanted, no rush it was just like being in London with a friend. Loved this tour!!!

Our guide was fabulous!

George Bury , my guide , was fabulous! He provided me spot-on advice about using the Tube, train, and bus in London. His help was really the key to our getting the most out of our trip. I wanted a guide who would give me tips on using the transit systems and he was a fantastic teacher plus very personable. Along the way, he pointed out interesting sights. Prior to meeting him in person, I had emailed him about what we needed to know and he came prepared with information about getting to the various places we wanted to visit. Becky for food tour

Prior to our tour we were specific in asking for a historic tour, wanting facts about the city you would not get from a guidebook as we had been here previously and one us a history buff. Becky was friendly and kind but would have been better suited for a food tour. She couldn't tell us any specific details about architecture, facts or anything historic. All answers were "around the 1800s" or some other very generic vague variation. She did, however, take us to her favorite cheese store, point out lots of sweets and other restaurants along the way. We had a nice stroll through the city but could have done this on our own.

Great Day. Excellent guide

Delia our tour guide was excellent. She did a great job navigating through London on a day where most streets were closed due to cycling event. She took us through Southwark, South bank and Westminster neighborhoods. We were able to get a flavor of the local culture/art, ate at a traditional Pub and still were able to see the landmarks ( House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace) Great day.

Great way to start a vacation!

This was a perfect way to spend our first day in London. Ana Maria was very knowledgeable. She crafted our day around everything we asked and helped fill in the gaps with extras that she thought we would like! She even took the time to show us how to use the Tube, and gave great suggestions for the rest of our vacation.

London in a Day With Delia

My day with Delia in London was just delightful. She gave me the full experience in just a day so I could navigate with confidence myself next visit knowing exactly where I would want to spend more time. She was full of facts and knowledge that help tell a story throughout the day. She understood my profile and made sure to hit top architecture, art and gardens. Delia adjusted our itinerary to accommodate a busy marathon day so as to avoid the crowds but get a taste of this unique vibe in the city. Spending a day with her is highly recommended.

My first day in London with Ann.

I’m so happy to have Ann as my private tour guide in my first day in London. She gave me a lots of information and led me to go to as many places as possibly could during 10 hours of tour. She specifically told me how to use a tube, a very useful tool when you are in London. 👍👍👍👍

London according to your personal interests

London is an amazing city that can be confusing and intimidating for the first timer. Anna, our personal finder of hidden gems, provided us with a plethora of information and tricks which she personalize to perfection. My wife and I had an eclectic request for our tour and she very successfully accommodated our interests. We learned and experienced loads of great things and would strongly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to simplify and magnify their London adventures.

A delightful tour customized to our interests

We had four adults on our tour, and the first thing that our guide, Ana Maria, did was to make sure she knew what we were all interested in. I appreciated this, because only ONE person filled out the pre-tour survey! Based on our answers, she modified the plan and we visited places that everyone in our group enjoyed. We commented over and over that we saw and learned so many things that we would have missed without Ana Maria as a guide. And even though I had studied abroad in London we saw and experienced things that I had not seen or experienced before. A really great investment of your time and money - highly recommend!

Exceeded my expectations.

The private tour was conducted by a CityUnscripted tutor guide. It completely exceeded my expectations. The personalized experience allowed me to conquer everything on my itinerary in additional to new inquiries along the way; within 8+ hours. Undoubtedly a pleasant “welcome to the neighborhood” experience. In due time I will be back to this city, of course after the completion of the restorations of Big Ben. Thank you for exceeding my boyhood ambitions of exploring London from a local and minimalistic tourist perspective.

Our guide JJ was on time and took us on a varied tour. He was spontaneous, which means he changed the program a little because of the rain. His main areas of expertise include food and entertainment.
