Consistent with what was described to me. Churchill’s room was very, very far from lavish and his personal lifestyle!

This place is well worth a visit. Such a fantastic piece of history that everyone should see! The included audio guide was great, really informative. Highly recommended

Don’t go thru Trip Advisor/Viator!!!!!

The museum was great. A real experience of what it was like during the war, and includes an interesting and extensive exhibit on Churchill’s life and career. However, dealing with TripAdvisor/Viator was a nightmare. They sent me confirmations that they had my money - but the correspondence was clearly marked as NOT tickets. They then sent us something that had to be downloaded, and that was also “NOT a ticket”! Never did send me actual tickets despite finally getting thru via phone to an unsympathetic & incompetent rep, and lots of wasted time. Even getting the address of the place was a struggle: it was not written on their “confirmation”. We finally just took the “confirmation” and went. We did get in but it was unclear how, since we didn’t have a “ticket”. But then we were so frustrated it nearly turned us off to something that was a great attraction. When we got there, it turns out we could have simply walked up and bought a ticket (at a lesser cost!!) from the actual venue! To be fair, it’s late February so perhaps it would be useful to have tickets with a timed entry in advance when it’s crowded, but definitely not worth the wasted time and frustration of doing it with TripAdvisor!
