London by dusk

I appreciated the various London areas pointed out. I noted street names and Underground stops of interest. The in person guide makes a difference also. I took the tour before at dusk and felt it was a good idea.

Ok, probably better in the daytime

It was ok. I thought London would be a more lit up at night, but it wasn't. It was a little hard to see the sights clearly at times. Guides were wonderful though! Tower bridge was the best part- great views along the river.

Perfect First Activity on our trip to London

This was our first activity after landing in London. Perfect overview to get a "feel" for the city and get to know the landscape. Also made us realize things we had to put on our "must" list. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly

Boring, cold and didn’t learn much new

It was hard to hear the lady speak and she didn’t seem to know a lot of facts. We passed by some major sites and I knew about them from other tours but she didn’t even acknowledge it. Also, the tour was the same tours offered by other tour groups and it was hardly dark enough unable to get the night effect. Id recommend going at 9pm at the earliest if you want to actually see London at night. I would not recommend.

Great all-round tour for the evening, the tour guide was funny and energetic. Saw lots of the sites and was good value for money

Very Nice Tour

London looks totally different after dark when the various buildings and attractions are lit up. The tour did a wonderful job of taking you through many of London landmarks to get a new perspective. One tip - if it’s a cool evening bring a jacket or a warm sweater. You’re moving 20-30 mph in an open top bus, it gets pretty chilly!

Must see London at night

Great photo opportunities. Big Ben is beautiful by night. Loved going across London Bridge. Our tour guide perfectly balanced information with some funny commentary.

Only if you can do upper level

I would have given two stars but they offered to let us switch to the next tour because there wasn't room for us up top. We declined because we didn't think it would matter much if we did the tour from the lower level. It did matter. A LOT. I would definitely recommend that anyone who wants to take this tour ensure that they're able to make it there early enough to be among the first in line so they can sit on the upper level. Because the tour guide is up there, keeps referring to things that can only be seen from there ("look up", "take a selfie with it behind you", etc). He also apparently made jokes/had interactions with the people up there -- which made no sense to those of us on the lower part. We saw so little from down there - saw far more stuff on the #11 bus upper and that bus only cost £1.75. I was very disappointed.

Great tour if you’re tired or can’t do much walking. Hits all the right places and the tour guide we got was pretty awesome

See the city from another perspective

The bus tour was great, ride in the top deck and was able to see all the sights. Our guide was wonderful, lots of history and funny anecdotes about each location. The lights were beautiful and the city takes in a whole different vibe at night.

Great tour

Great trip, traffic was manic an routes had to be changed due to road closures but was really good we enjoyed seeing the sights at night.

Unprofessional behavior of the crew member and delay

1. The bus came 15 min late. 2. No availabe restrooms nearby bus stop 3. After letting passengers in, waited another 15 minutes without explanation, I have to mention a "professional" crew member saying to the bus driver "just start the engine so they think we are leaving soon".

Great way to see London

This was absolutely worth exploring London. The narrator’s had a personality and she was very knowledgeable about the history of London. This was a wonderful way of exploring the city.

London Night Scenes

This was an excellent tour of the key monuments of London. The tour operator was quite challenged with road closures and tried very hard to make sure the customers saw everything. The staff at the kiosk as we waited for the bus were very kind and engaged. The guide on the bus during the tour was very knowledgable and very entertaining. We had a great time on this tour.

Informative Narration, Great Intro to the City

Informative and interesting narration of various London sites while cruising around on an open-top bus in the evening. Narration was with a live guide (not pre-recorded) and was more substantial than I expected. Guide spoke clearly and was easy to hear. Perfect activity to get your bearings the first or second night in town.

Relaxing bus tour.

Was little disappointed that they cancelled our time and had to wait for the next scheduled bus But it was fun to sit and relax and see London at night.

Overrated

The tour started late 15min lates, which I wouldn’t have minded if I didn’t have reservations planned for afterwards. Upstairs, you could not hear the guide since the volume was low on the outdoor section. Tour ended up going over 90min - which meant we had to get out at a random bus stop and call an uber. To be fair, there were some road closures but some communications prior/during the tour would’ve been helpful so we could’ve made arrangements.

Inconsiderate

It was raining all day, I ask to consider a refund but was refused. That was our last day in London and cannot do it on any other dates. They should be considerate.

Great tour

Our tour guide was very informative and funny. We really enjoyed our tour thoroughly. We had a 12 hour layover and it gave us the opportunity to get to see London. Would definitely recommend

It was truly a remarkable tour, our guide was wonderful! Getting to see the city at night was one of the best experiences and it was very much worth the price. Highly recommended!

First Day In London Must!

The guide was entertaining, not just with facts but great sense of humor. It was the perfect tour to get the lay of the land in London and learn some fun facts.

Good tour, shame about organisations

The tour was good. Shame that our tour was canceled at 8pm and had to wait for the one after at 8.30pm. We had a child with us which was very tired and then made things difficult for us.

Great tour!

This was an excellent tour. The bus was clean and on time. Our guide was great and we were able to fit in lots of sites at one time! Seeing it at night made it even more beautiful

Europe adventure 24

We enjoyed this tour immensely. It was a little cold and ran very late, but our driver and guide were excellent in their knowledge and skills. Well worth the money, but the bus windows need to be cleaned before each trip because all our pics at night had bird droppings on them.

Night bus tour

It was informative but the company does not try to contact tourists of the tour with changes and they were running 30 min late so i couldn’t finish the tour as i would not have the tube to return home as they ended later than planned All were accommodating and pleasant otherwise

Nice night tour

It was an informative tour and a different perspective than during the day. Unfortunately, it was our first day in London and I was suffering from jet lag!

Excellent activity after a whole day's walking!

We were taken to some beautiful spots in this gorgeous city. Some of them we had already seen before that day, but it was amazing to see them illuminated and hear what Kevin has to say about Harry Potter and Old/New Scotland Yard :) funny and interesting guide, thank You.

Perfect for an Extended Layover

Do to a flight cancellation, the airline put us up in a hotel for an unplanned evening in London. This was a perfect way to spend a few hours sightseeing while tired and with no plans. I'd recommend the company market to the airport hotels because there were dozens of us in the same situation, and it sounds like it's a regular occurrence.

Nice nighttime views

It was good. It wasn’t quite what I expected but for what they were allowed to do. It was very nice. The tour guide was excellent. He was very informative and engaging and pointed out items before we got there so we could try and get pictures. Of course you can’t stop when you’re on the bus tour but it was really nice to see London lit up at night.

Great way to see London’s Sites!

The night tour was a great way to see London. Streets were much less crowded and the views of the sights at night were amazing.

Convenient Tour

For a last minute tour straight off my flight, it hit all the major sight-seeing spots I didn’t have the energy to walk around to. Very convenient for a solo traveler or group.

A nice tour of a night lights London

We had a good time on this tour. The guide could have been a little more informative. Recommend dressing for the weather, as it can get quite chilly during spring time if you want to ride on the top deck.

Great value for the experience

Loved that this was a person talking through the bus tour rather than an audio recording. The bus was also clean and the driver was on-time and did a great job navigating us around the city, and we got to see all the main tourist attractions from a different perspective

London Bus Tour By Night

A fantastic tour taking in London by night with the most knowledgeable, friendly and humorous tour guide. He kept us interested, entertained and in check too, as some passengers were a little loud at the beginning. And safe in the hands of the bus driver, together this made for a great experience. I would definitely recommend.

Great experience seeing the best of London

Such a great and fun experience! Our tour guide Kevin was excellent. He’s super knowledgeable about the city and was very funny. I know some folks said they found it hard to find the location to meet up so I was nervous about that but it was very obvious. When you exit the tube go to Piccadilly south exit (use city mapper app for exact directions on the tube) and the stop is literally right there at the top of the stairs. If you hit the Ritz you’ve already gone too far! As others have said the top and the first few rows are the best spots to see and hear everything but it is COLD. I wished I had gloves! Also for the tour company, I wish there was a way to leave a tip through an app. I wanted to tip but didn’t have cash and definitely not pounds. Hopefully this review is still helpful!

Do this tour....

Definitely worth it. Great way to see the city. London at night is spectacular. It's a great way to get the lay of the land and figure out where you want to go back and visit.

Nice way to see the sights at night

So glad we did this! At the end of a long day it was pleasant to sit and be shown some of the iconic buildings and bridges. Our guides and staff were professional, friendly and helpful.

This was a great way to see London at night with all of the buildings lit up. Also being on the double decked bus provided a great opportunity for photos.

Great experience well worth booking

Great tour got to see the whole of London's main attractions in 90mins as we were only there for 2 days this was worth doing as we only managed a few of the attraction on foot in the day and things look so different by night . It was well worth it . Just wrap up well and get on the top of the bus to get the most out of this tour.
