Wow, guess there's a first for everything even at Hard Rock. Came to this location about 22 years ago and probably 80% of all around the world. Doing a Europe trip with grandkids and did Piccadilly yesterday ( spent about 550 pounds) there and wanted my grandson to see the original and tell him the story of it and go to the vault. Well go inside and allot of empty tables and see a booth by bar, just want 3 drinks and nachos with beef. The waitress tells me ah if your only having nachos and 3 drinks you have to stand at bar or go outside. I said we'll nachos ( about 30 pounds) and 3 drinks is going to be around 50 pounds and I have to sit outside or stand at bar? Yes corporate rules. I said we'll have the management come tell me I cannot eat nachos and have 3 drinks inside. Anyway about 5 minutes nobody coming over and again was slow inside. Management finally came walking over but wife and grandson were outside. She did say corporate policy and I disagree as I'm sure Eric C. would too. If she only knew how it all started....... Well told grandson story but didn't get to show him around as I as a old rock and roller didn't meet the criteria of Hard Rock dining regulations.

Fantastic burgers and rock star quality service

We had a pre-matinee lunch here on 11 May as part of our daughter's 10th birthday celebrations. Great setting in Mayfair, had a lovely sunny stroll through Green Park first. We sat on the terrace. Our server was Louise and she was fantastic, very quick and attentive service in a friendly, efficient style. She told us this was the flagship branch and about the museum next door and memorabilia inside (we later went to check this out including the famous Eric Clapton guitar!) Louise made a lovely fuss of our daughter's birthday including bringing out an ice cream sundae with candles and getting everyone to sing. Daughter is a bit shy but she was SO impressed! The food was fantastic, the nicest burgers I can remember having and really good value for such nice food and overall great experience. Thank you Hard Rock Cafe and please give Louise a pay rise!

Where is the "hardrock"

This has nothing to do with hardrock like they played pop songs in the HARDROCK CAFÉ. Everything is overpriced and all the shirt there are about the fact that this is the hardrock café. The food was fine but this is still not THE HARD ROCK CAFÉ this is just Café shop.

The memorabilia was great...

The memorabilia was great and the food was excellent. Service was top draw. We've been there many times and have not been disappointed. Couple from Ontario canada

Perfect

The table was perfect, we were served by Alex who was also the perfect host ánd funny. The food was top …..an unforgettable evening with our granddaughters.

Amazing experience

Amazing experience. Great food and great staff. In particular Matt and Jade (who was training I believe) were excellent, they made our experience really special and went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. We actually asked for the service charge to be raised to reflect their service. 10/10 - thank you both!

Birthday Family Lunch - Not Bad

Good Experience, friendly staff, busy although felt looked after. Restaurant is compact but great atmosphere. Food was hot and a good quality. Downside - Lack of draught beers choice as they had run out, offered alternative via bottles which we appreciated. Service charge of 12.5% is automatically added to your bill which when questioned advised this is split to the staff. I'd rather have this removed and reward my server personally. It seems this cannot be done so wasn't pleased with this.

Tamer Ahmed

Didn’t end up making it to this beautiful establishment due to one of your apparent staff members harassing me on Snapchat telling me to not show my body by the name of Tamer Ahmed. Very angry, young gentleman After this experience, I don’t think I will be visiting this venue as I will feel unsafe.

A 10/10 experience

I hadn’t been to the Hark Rock since I was a child, so was super excited to recreate the memories…And it didn’t disappoint! The food was delicious, but the staff were impeccable. From the team on the door to our incredible waitress, Acushla, who totally made the experience. Acushla took care of us as if we were guests in her own home and made our meal one to remember. The biggest thank you 🥰

Voucher does not give access to traditional menu

Slightly disappointing. The Hard Rock experience itself was great. The restaurant and all the memorabilia are amazing. All the staff were great, but our menu was disappointing. I had no idea that using the voucher bought from Viator would no allow us to choose from the traditional Hard Rock Cafe menu. I was prepared to pay the difference in price and order from the menu, but was told it wasn’t possible. I will be going back to the Hard Rock Cafe, but not with this voucher.

AWFUL FOOD AWFUL STAFF AVOID

The only reason it got two stars was because of the memorabilia the food was awful the staff even worse ( left for a good 20 mins before being asked for a drinks order waitress (Amelia i I think) was rude and unattentive given a boiling hot glass for my coke I LOVE WARM COKE 😑 which I ordered at the start of the meal and the waitress forgot about only bought it over when I had asked if it was coming) the drinks ok at best such a shame as this could be something good like WFT does messi have to do with ROCK MUSIC ?!?!??!? menu items should be music themed inside the cafe they should play rock music not modern pop ( Taylor Swift ) if they can name a burger after messi then why can’t they name one after a rock band, I recon back in the day the Hard Rock Cafe was great but today I think they are too big and lost focus on what they set out to do. Clearly unsatisfied staff didn’t bother to ask if everything was okay and then forced to pay a 12,5% service charge, Huge disappointment will not be returning

a tour in the vault, fantastic experience, the guide give a almost personal tour, realy many collectibles items of high value.

Amazing

Absolutely amazing experience. Well worth the money. Food was amazing and our waiter was the best we have ever had. He was so lovely and constantly checking we were ok and refilling our drinks.

Good venue with interesting memorabilia

Visited here for Lunch with colleagues for the first time. The venue is interesting with lots of memorabilia and good food we were in a hurry and the staff worked really well to serve us and get our food on the time limit we had. Next to the venue there is a shop selling items and a small musuem you can visit for free. The food is good

Hard Rock Cafe London staff were so very nice and kind and showed me Madd LOVE I was born the day they first opened in 1971

Wonderful time

Fantastic bottomless brunch. Service was outstanding from both the manager and Dmytro to two people with major allergies. And the cherry on the cake (literally!!) was the courtesy ice cream for the girl celebrating her fourth degree (Masters in Law)

Excellent service

The food was lovely, and service fantastic - the only problem was they different have any record of my booking!! They said Viator hadn't passed on my details but as I had the confirmation email and tickets they were happy to go ahead

Stone cold Vegeburger.

Ordered a vegeburger a "Moving Mountains" burger, and it was stone cold. Cheese wouldn't melt on it. I had to send it back and got a new one that was barely warmer. For £18.95 it wasn't cheap and I expected something decent. Won't go there again.

HRC rocks!!

Very helpful welcoming staff. Great nostalgic videos and amazing memorabilia. The starter nachos were the best I've ever had.

Disappointed

The 'Diamond Menu' which was included with the deal was quite limited. The best things were the dessert and unlimited tea/coffee and soft drinks.

London calling!

After reading other reviews, made reservations for the same time with OpenTable via the HRC website. We arrived early and they were able to accommodate us. Reserved the gold menu. Had a choice of 5 entrees and brownie for dessert. Both the food and service were great! Asked to see the vault at the shop and we were taken downstairs to see additional memorabilia not currently on display. Perfect ending to our rock and roll tour of London.

Exceptional service At the Hard Rock London

Reception Staff/check in staff are amazing, the people who land the front desks are the ones that we have the most interaction with as travelers and guests and the Hard Rock London’s staff is I dare say a league of their own when it comes to London hospitality. Business associates has encourage me to stay at hotels tge considered more “Posh” but I refused that label as I know the hard rock brand and have al slays love their superior standards and service and this time in London it was no exception the stay although was for business was made so much more pleasing by its exceptional reception staff. Even up to the moment of checkout which we did at 5:45am on a Sunday morning. We called down to the front desk and Karolis the young man on duty answered the phone. We asked him to please send up a porter to the room to help with our bags. Within a minute or less The same young man Karolis although being front desk staff, showed up at our door on the second floor ready to take our bags down. I was amazed and remarked “aren’t you front desk staff” to which he happily replied “I’m Hotel staff sir and we are a family here with one purpose, to serve our guests to the best of our ability” I was flabbergasted to say the least. To hear those words said by Karolis underpinned the amazing service and interaction that we had experienced with the staff of the Hard Rock hotel London. This fine young gentleman took our bags down with zero fuss and with a smile which was like all the other smiles that came with the service at the hard rock , a smile that was genuine, un-faked, not a transactionally Induced facade but a real happy to help happy to see you smile; how fantastic!!! But Karolis’ splendid and above perfect service was not unique to him only because Whether it was breakfast staff catering to your every need or it’s security staff watching over its guests with confidence and professionalism making you feel like a celebrity with personal bodyguards or the bar and shop staff treating you the way you wanted to be treated, with special and focused attention or the amazing front desk staff making you feel as if they were there just for your care, it was all perfect and delightful to experience, even though the building it’s decor, many special memorabilia and fantastic live acts were totally amazing it all comes down to the service and the Hard Rock London’s staff is second to none. I had to fight the urge to extend our stay to a month because the way they make you feel at the Hard Rock makes you want to stay and never leave. Thank you so much Guys for a truly wonderful stay and to anyone reading this review I must tell you. Every word is genuine and every experience was real and I have said this not just to express my gratitude but it’s the least I can do for people who do so much everyday just to make guests at the Hard Rock happy. Go there now, book your room no matter the size no matter your race ethnicity, religion, language or politics, the Hard Rock Hotel and especially its London staff will make you feel at home and cherished.

Birthday celebration

We have had a lovely time, it was a birthday celebration, Paulo was super friendly and was very helpful. We are definitely coming back.

It’s a SCAM

We weren’t even seated and they told us to come back in an hour they said they have tried to explain to viator that people who sign up for this excursion are not guaranteed a seat at the given time and that there was nothing they could do because it’s a third party so they sent us away and didn’t even try to resolve the problem that we were standing there with a AR code that should of promised us a table but it did not

Hard Rock is not what is was

We sat at our table for 25 minutes without any staff coming by the table. We ask a different waiter if they could find our server at one point we did also speak to the manager about getting a server. The manager offered to pay for my drink, which he never did. When the food arrived, it was not what my wife ordered.

Excellent service

We had a fabulous evening, service was excellent, food was delicious and the cocktails were superb! I'd recommend this experience for anyone travelling to London.

No reservation was sent to Hard Rock

Hard Rock had not got any reservation, so we had to wait for an hour to get a table. The reservation was made one month ago.

Location easy to find...

Location easy to find nice friendly waiters and staff from cafe the shop and reception, also loved the theme of the restaurant

Pointless …..

Skip the line- or not! We had to wait 30 mins for a table - we were told we still had to phone to book a table- the menu was so small with only 2 starters salad or onion rings and only 1 dessert choice! Would have been better paying the same money and having a full choice of menu- truly not worth it!

Great Food in a Fun Place

Great service, lovely waitresses. Great delicious food however they have changed the way they do the Ultimate package works and there is less to choose from but still great food. Free T-Shirts are only white so no choice anymore.

Great venue with great...

Great venue with great food and music playing from many bands through the years. The whole restaurant had memorabilia hanging all around the restaurant. We even had a tour of some more memorabilia at the hard rock shop where a employee who had vast knowledge told us many things.

A let down on every way

None I wish o could leave no stars and I think after the email I sent yesterday slating the experience you have a cheek contacting me looking for a review. It was overpriced, limited and despicable

It's a hard rock

I've been to hard rock cafes all over the world. The food is basically the same. Good solid food. Nothing crazy. But good. This is the very first hard rock Cafe ever. The souvenir shop is so big it's in a separate building. Make sure you go down in the vault. U get up close with some of the cool memoribalia

Will be returning soon

I think our waiter was called Marcus. Looked after us brilliantly. His hospitality was second to none, checked on us numerous times throughout the time we were there to make sure we were ok. And Food was just amazing! We tried dishes from the starter/share menu and would highly recommend the shrimp! Will most definitely be returning and would recommend trying the cocktails too.

People working at both the restaurant and vault were so kind — showed us lots of great memorabilia we would have missed. A highlight of our trip.

THE HARD ROCK, ROCKS

This place is fantastic. The staff were so lively, chatty and make it a really buzzy environment. The memorabilia is incredible and there is absolutely everyone who is anyone on the walls. For music lovers this is the place to be. I'd like to thank our servers who were so kind and patient. They explain how the menu works and help with any questions. There were a few birthdays so lots of celebrations and singing which was so nice. My advice is to have a wander through the restaurant as there is so many instruments, album drawings and costumes / clothing from all genres and all the greatest stars. It's a museum and you should definitely head over to the Vault so you can get an extra look at the really valuable pieces 🤩

Good but just needed more...

Staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for me. Burger was a bit of a disappointment as it was a bit underdone and tasteless though nachos and cheesecake were divine. Wanted to visit the vault next door and it was advertised as being open from 11:30am onwards with a free tour but due to lack of staff this wasn't possible which was really disappointing.

The Hard Rock Cafe - just how I remembered it

No queue today, so no need to have a 'skip the queue' benefit, however it was good to pay in advance. The Hard Rock was great. It is pricey for what it is, but the staff are FANTASTIC and the atmosphere BRILLIANT. Pleased to see so many parents with really young children there - the next generation of Hard Rockers? Alison xx

Hotel Stay May 2021

I stayed at this hotel with my mum as part of a birthday treat in May 2021 . The hotel is in a very convenient location, but what really made our stay special was the staff. During our stay, the hotel staff we came into contact were exceptional and a credit to this hotel and their profession. Special mention to Yas (sorry not sure if that is correct spellings!) on reception and the breakfast crew!

Hard Rock Park Lane gone down hill

Staff scruffy & not very inattentive. Over priced for what it is. Food nothing special . Used to better & staff much more smarter & friendlier . No effort made for my sons 8th Birthday some stupid light /magazine book & when asked for pen so he could write in it was told no pens. Ribs over cooked & coleslaw was a joke

Do not use

I am appalled. Hard Rock did not recognise my voucher and I had to pay for the menu. Which was just as well as the Diamond menu was poor. I want my money back

Fantastic afternoon

Absolutely fantastic afternoon. The service was excellent, food amazing. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our table because we had a baby with us. We felt very Covid safe away from other tables. We could see cleaning being done all the time. I would highly recommend fantastic restaurant.

Couldn’t find our booking!

Lucky that it was not busy since the Hard Rock Cafe did not have our booking - even though we had booked it through this site for the correct date and time. However, very enjoyable experience at the Hard Rock Cafe!

Amazing

My friend and I had a really good time here. The food is amazing and delicious. The service was excellent, our waiter Anita was very welcoming and helpful about everthing. I highly recommend this place.
