Tour of Westminster with No-Wait Entry to the Abbey

Natalia was knowledgeable and so kind. The time in the Abbey felt a little rushed. It would have been lovely to have had more time to wander. The walk around Westminster I felt also could have been more structured - but she showed us some great spots! Overall, we had a wonderful group, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

Excellent tour. Well worth it. Value for money. Our guide was amazing, informative and funny. The walking tour through Westminster was well worth it. A few extras were added which we didn’t expect but were fantastic.

Our tour guide was very informative! Plus she went above and beyond in our tour. It was not a normal day with the King’s birthday . She helped us make it in the best spots to see everything and kept going on even through the rain! Very nice women!

Walking tour in Westminster & Central London

The tour through Westminster Abbey was outstanding. Natasha was an exceptional guide with a good mix of info, who kept us moving at a good pace. I enjoyed the tour and would recommend it.

Don’t book with this company!

We did not make the tour. My granddaughter was in urgent care-5 minutes away from the meeting point. I tried to reschedule for another time that day or the next day. They were unwilling to make any changes. I will not book with them again ever.

London Highlights

Paul was an amazing guide, he was organized and did a great job of keeping the group going and together. He had knowledge of the site we walked to and around and answered any questions we had. It was fun to see the changing of the guards. The history of Westminster Abby was incredible. Don't hesitate book this tour.

Walking Tour with Westminster Abbey

Lucy was an excellent guide. We had a great walking tour experience. The Abbey tour was great. This is a great way to see the Westminster sights.

Not a Great Host or Tour

I never leave negative reviews, however our experience was a severe disappointment. My family and I were very excited for this tour. We have booked guided multiple tours through Viator the past few years and have always had great experiences and wonderful hosts. This was not the case for this host. Even though the travel group emailed photos of the meeting spot, it was still very disorganized and chaotic. There were multiple tours and groups leaving from the same location and our group did not have professional signs. After wandering around and asking multiple guides if they were the correct people, one said to wait for a few minutes. I asked the same host multiple times if she was sure we were not with her group and I finally told her to scroll down on her app and there my name was. One of the other issues with her was that her sign was hand written saying the wrong time. We were the 9:05 group and her sign said 9:00. I know that doesn’t make much of a difference but when there are at least 10 other groups meeting in the same location, her sign needs to be correct and also say the travel group. Once we got started, a family in a different group and time missed their original tour and our host spent a long time trying to help instead of guiding us. Our host had very little interest in guided our random group of 20. She never introduced herself, so I still don’t know her name. She did not give us a mini itinerary and she did not speak loud enough. As we walked into the Abbey, she was more concerned about helping this one group who miss their original tour since they were late. Not her fault, but inside the Abbey was very busy. Since it was so busy, she should have spoken a bit more loudly but she didn’t. She didn’t give us time to look around on our own, just took us to spots she had stories about and then we left. We probably spent an hour total in Westminster Abbey. After that, we continued on to Buckingham Palace. We walked through the park and it was. Rehearsal for the Trooping of the Colors. Months ago I realized we had scheduled a tour for this same day and I reached out to the company to see if this would cause any disruption to the tour and I was told no. However, the street was blocked and we were unable to stand right in front of the palace gates. The host asked multiple police officers what was happening, she had no clue what was going on. I should also point out by the time we got to Buckingham Palace, several different groups had already left the tour. The host made a few different comments on skin color at this point and then I had enough. My family and I left before the end of the tour. My family and I were very disappointed with this experience. We didn’t have much time in London and this was a waste of our morning, from 9:00 until almost 12:50. We would not recommend this tour with this company.

No show

Our tour guide never showed up. We waited over 30 minutes at the area in the directions, I tried messaging him thru the app and calling Viator with no response back. So our experience was not good at all!

A lovely tour through Westminster!

We had the best tour with Paul! He was very knowledgeable and very witty! We thoroughly enjoyed his commentary and enthusiasm; he made the tour extremely entertaining, as well as informative! One of the best tours we've ever been on, to date!

Convoluted Itinerary Changes and Incoherent Tour Guide

Lucy was our guide. While she knew an absolute ton of information about the Westminster Abbey, she could barely be heard. When we did hear her, she shared a bunch of facts but it was more like a listing of dates and names. There was little that was fun and interactive and memorable. She needs to work on her interactive charisma. Additionally, zero time was spent on Big Ben and Westminster Abbey was most the tour. Poorly laid out. Additionally, the promised sites were not stuck to (see Big Ben comment above) and the tour deviated from the itinerary because she thought we needed to see the changing of the guard. While that sounds great, I had another tour later in our trip to see just that (which means I saw it twice) and missed out on what we were supposed to do on the tour with Lucy.

I was so surprised to see who is buried in Westminster Abbey. So pleased we did not miss this. The history is fascinating. The guide was knowledgeable

Guided tour of Westminster Abbey

Being led on a guided tour of Westminster Abbey which allowed for quicker access to the Abbey. Also included was a walk through St. James park to Buckingham palace as well as St. James Palace.

We loved the tour in part because of our tour guide. Our tour guide, Paul, was excellent. Very knowledgeable, good sense of humor. Be sure you want to walk because this tour has a lot of walking. It’s great though. We loved it.

Great tour! Got my teens excited about history. And Westminster Abbey was so beautiful. Our guide was so knowledgeable and brought the history to life.

A matter of taste

The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and lovely-this tour is just way too long. It definitely tells you that in the description so we definitely prepared for a longer afternoon-I just thought that maybe we would have spent a more even amount of time at each locale. The time spent at Westminster was incredibly too long. I think if you really are looking for that, it’s great, but this tour should really be titled Westminster Abby. Then when we did get to Buckingham we couldn’t even walk up to it because the guide said we didn’t have time. Again, super impressed with knowledge of guide-just consider if a long tour in mainly one spot is for your taste.

Informative tour

Excellent local guide who showed us all the sites we wanted to see. Guide on time spoke loud enough so all our 20 people could hear well. Would recommend to all.

Our guide, Mika was very knowledgeable and was able to answer any question asked of her. She was very good to make sure the group was together before telling us about the new site we were at.

Must do tour!

Excellent tour guide , Natasha, was so knowledgeable. I loved that this was a small group of about 15 of us. My first time to London and this was for sure the way to go!

Find a different one.

Find something else. Guide spoke poor English and too softly to hear. What we could hear was platitudes and uninteresting. Nothing came alive. We bailed after Westminster Abbey.

Doing the Westminster thing

Great fun with a delightful guide. This was my fifth time to see the Abby and by far the most enjoyable and informative. First class viewing for changing of guards. All in all a brilliant day.

Would recommend

Very knowledgeable about the area and questions asked. Just disappointed to see that she was not excited about us watching the rehearsal parade that was happening right in front of us. She was wanting to push ahead to get us into the Christie’s auction. Would spend about 30 minutes less in the Abbey. The different chapels got boring.

Excellent Tour!

We really enjoyed this tour. Steve is an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and informative. The two-hour guided visit of Westminster Abbey included in the tour was very interesting. Rich in history and art the Abbey is a must see in London and the UK. After visiting the Abbey we walked through the Westminster district where our guide pointed at the main sites, including the Parliament buildings, the Big Ben, and Buckingham Palace, telling us about their history, art, and fun facts.

Wonderful with Natasha as Our Guide

Our guide was "Natasha" a blue badge guide and it showed. Very informative. We proceeded to an in depth tour of Westminster which lasted approximately 1.5 hours then proceeded through a beautiful park that led to Buckingham Palace. She provided a very nice presentation of its history and then kindly took individual pictures of the members of the group. The group was thankfully small. We then proceeded down the mall which to our surprise there was a troop rehearsal for the Trouping of the Colors. She was once an employee of Christy's and we were able to enter and view if. After that we proceeded to Picadilly Circus where the tour ended. If you happen to luck out and have Natasha you will be pleased.

Our day in London

The inside tour of the Abbey was spectacular! History comes to life. The walking tour shared fascinating information and provided a good guide to London. Our Guide Steve, had a great number of historical stories.

This tour was great! I think you definitely need a guide to tour the Westminster Abbey or you are looking at a lot of cool history and just walking by it. I would recommend this tour if you are looking to hit some of the big sites in london and be fairly knowledgable about them.
