Rude and unhelpful staff

Dreadful customer service when we wanted some help. Could not have been less helpful. Our taxi was stuck in traffic and we asked to check if we could move to another tour just in case. The rudeness of the person we spoke to was quite unbelievable for someone in the customer service industry. We didn’t purposely ask to be stuck in traffic and be potentially late for our tour. No sympathy, empathy or help in any way. Rude. We didn’t go on your tour as we then read your reviews after such a shocking phone call. Bridgts afternoon tea bus was fabulous. Chose that over Golden tours any day!!

Save your money for something else

Disappointing trip, don’t waste your money, much better options about. Good Points - bus had quirky decorations and lovely staff Bad Points - food and drink not brilliant and not the normal quality of an afternoon tea, for the prices expected much better. The London Tour aspect was shocking, no commentary, which makes it no more than a bus ride with a lunch that’s a very basic afternoon tea. Value- Total rip off even for London Prices If you want to see London and have the sights pointed out, don’t pick this tour and if you want to enjoy a lovely afternoon tea, don’t waste your money here, there are much better options. Overall had the actual tour been better and had commentary it would of been bearable, but left feeling I’d wasted my money.

Overpriced Poor Quality

Not the traditional Afternoon Tea experience we expected. Poor quality food with no explanation or menu showing what we had been served, loud music blaring all through the tour very distracting. No commentary pointing out what we were actually seeing American guests on the tour had no idea what they were looking at. Would not recommend totally overpriced.

Such a great experience drinking Prosecco seeing London Monument.

We had such a lovely time with Raja, Diya and Fahim as a driver. Great time with very nice food, a glass of Prosecco and some tea at the end. The guys were very friendly and caring. They even took pictures for us. The best of all … the Muic 👍🏼

Horrible

The worst ever dirty bus nasty food just disgusting they don’t tell you what the rights are you just ride around not knowing were you are with dirty windows not able to see anything with nasty spoiled food

Beautiful view and delicious delights

We had a wonderful time with Hetel, Nilza and Farhim on this noon trip through London. The view from the bus is nice and the food and drinks were delicious. Could highly recommend taking this tour.

A memorable Anniversary occasion

Booked two Premium Upper Deck seats as a part of our Anniversary celebrations. We were allocated front seats and had a most memorable time. The sandwiches and scones were very fresh and tasty, the other cakes were not quite the same standard. However, large glasses of a nice tasting Prosecco and a large Teas were also most enjoyable as we passed many iconic sights of Central London. Abisola and Daisy saw to all our needs and ensured we all had a good time. Driver Cleveland was excellent and unhurried. Heavy traffic and other events meant the route was altered slightly, but the bonus was going over Tower Bridge and nobody was bothered that we arrived back a few minutes late. You made our day – Thankyou.

A pleasant experience. Staff excellent

Overall this was a really good experience. The staff on board were very friendly and engaging. The service was extremely good. The location to the pick up point could be clearer however A great tour of many London sights but was disappointed we did not pass by Buckingham Palace or Big Ben. Also surprised there was no commentary ? Unless you are familiar with London you may miss many points of interest The food was pleasant but there could have been more. Everyone left still feeling a bit hungry. The souvenir cups were a nice touch

This was fantastic!

This was so fun! Great way to take a tour around London and see all the major sites while drinking prosecco and eating mini sandwiches. The staff were so lovely. Wonderful experience.

Nice little experience

Fun, unusual thing to do one afternoon. Food not exactly fortnums but exactly as described. Servers were lovely. It's a fairly limited route so definitely nothing like you will see on a proper sightseeing bus but it's different. Everything provided was as described and we were happy.

Relaxing & fun way of seeing the sights of London!

My wife booked this as a special treat whilst visiting London to celebrate her 50th birthday. It was a fun and relaxing way to see the sights and have a bite to eat at the same time! The food & drink was delicious and the service given by our hosts Mercy & Heteel was friendly and welcoming. Don't be expecting luxury, as it it a double decker bus after all, but the bus was decked out in a nice way and it's a great idea if you're wanting a fun way of seeing the sights of London.

Very helpful staff at Golden Tours UK

Hello my friend had booked the afternoon tea bus tour back in May 2022. We went to the wrong pick up point, we were panicking we would miss our trip, but guide Izham pulled up in another Golden Tours bus, driven by Fernando, and said don't worry he would speak to the driver of the afternoon tea bus and get him to meet us a near by. We were so so grateful to him. He calmly dealt with our problem and saved the day. Sorry this review has taken so long to send through, but I had lost his card with details on!

Great

The staff were all extremely friendly and attentive, we booked it for 5 people for one of our daughter's 18th birthday treats and we were not disappointed. Great fun, food was good, lots of laughs along the way. Definitely recommend it. Good Value for money.

Very nice

Took my Mum for her Christmas present. Had a really nice time. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Would recommend.

Wrong seats, wrong food, old tired bus!

We were supposed to be in premium front row seats (paid the extra) but they gave us other seats and didn’t offer refund - tried to pretend they didn’t know what premium seats were. Eventually I had to go to office and complain before I got refund. Bus tour - London sights were great, but bus was tired. Lights didn’t work, decorations were old and tired. Food was atrocious. Worse but was that my daughter was told her sandwhich was marmite - it was actually pickle but they kept insisting it was marmite. Luckily we don’t have food allergies, but if you do they had no idea what was in any of the sandwhiches! I would choose another tour and not do again.

Fun and enjoyable Afternoon Tea and Sign seeing London

This trip was a surprise for my mother from my partner and myself for Christmas. All 3 of us had a great time, and would highly recommend the experience. The staff on the bus looking after us, serving us afternoon tea were very friendly and helpful, Both made the experience enjoyable, and fun. My partner, mother and myself feel it’s a fun way to see the big major signs of London, while at the same time enjoying a wonderful afternoon tea.

Amazing don’t miss out

Amazing tour. Guide Toyota and Sofia were amazing so welcoming and helpful. On top of that I’m vegan and gluten free and they catered for me for everything and I never missed out.

Too long going in circles

Lower deck does not have the best views the navigator do not speak about the landmarks and at night with the lights on you cannot take pictures because of the glare from the windows. The traffic was terrible and the tour lasted more than 90mins

Afternoon Tea Bus

Great experience. Very good tour of London with welcoming hosts Aurora, Sofia and driver Cleveland. The tea was excellent with plenty of choice. Also drinks topped up regularly. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting London

Really nice tour around to all sights. The staff on the bus were really nice and the food and drink were top notch. Can really recommend this trip. The bus was also nicely decorated.

Afternoon Tea on a bus

Our hosts Charles & Toyosi were excellent! They were friendly and engaging. We enjoyed some bubbly, lovely eats and tea. Decor on the bus was lovely. Had a lovely view of the sites from the upper deck. All round excellent service, had a great time. 5⭐️

Brilliant Afternoon Tea.

This was a really fun afternoon. The staff were great. Food was fresh and very nice. Prosecco was flowing. Music playing and sites to be seen. Deffo would recommend this.

Should be named "Disco Bus" not "Tea Bus"

First of all, the staff were very friendly. The food and drinks were very good and enough. The tea could have been served a little bit earlier. However the music was inadequate loud and not really appropriate for an english afternoon tea event. More people are complaining about the music and I can't understand why the tour company doesn't change this. This is the reason neither to book another Tea Bus tour nor to recommend it to friends. Another disadvantage is that the view strait out of the window in the direction of travel is party blocked by a bunch of plastic flowers.

Fun and relaxing

Really enjoyed the afternoon tea experience. Staff were friendly and attentive. Bus takes a leisurely tour around London landmarks. Would recommend for a special occasion.

Great experience

Perhaps this was our best experience in London. We got to sit together, eat and drink well - all while some of the highlights of the city passed outside our window. I’m still having a hard time to forget their biscuits, haha! Good atmosphere in the bus and service-friendly hostesses.

Good fun and good value

A most enjoyable afternoon spent eating cake, sandwiches and scones while viewing top attractions across London. The hostesses were fun and did a great job. Rain or shine this is a fun trip and I thoroughly recommend.

Don’t

When we booked the “tour” we were under the impression it was an actual tour-a guide telling us about the city. Instead, we sat on a bus, ate finger sandwiches and had tea. I would never suggest this tour to anyone who was looking for a guided tour.

Delightful Experience with Afternoon tea

We took the Afternoon Tea Bus tour and it was simply delightful. Along with delicious scones, sweets, and pastries; we were served juice and tea. Our guides Ella and Helia were so sweet and made the experience very enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

Afternoon tea for my sons birthday

We had an amazing time for my sons 11th birthday The staff Nilza and sewanu were great with him and got the whole bus to sing happy birthday. The driver fernando gave us a lovely ride around london

Great afternoon Tea with Golden Tours

Celebrated my daughter's 7th Birthday with her friends, they were so excited to see the famous landmarks. The afternoon tea was lovely and the Guides Nilza and Sewanu were absolutely wonderful, very attentive and accommodating. They made my daughter feel very special.

This was such a wonderful experience! Our guides, Charles and Ella, were wonderful! The Prosecco flowed, and everyone was merry. Charles and Ella were as cheerful as could be. I wanted to get back on when the tour was over, and do it all again! Do it! You’ll be glad you did.

Fantastic way to see London

Host Emanuella was amazing!!

The best thing about this tour was our host, Emanuella. She made our party of 6 feel very welcomed. It was my Grandmas 95th birthday and from the moment she met us at the bus stop Emanuella was simply incredible. The bus sang happy birthday and we received a chocolate rose and miniature bus. Thank you for being a wonderful host and for looking after us so well. You are the reason we would book this tour again. Thank you.

English Tea bus tour

I cannot write a favorite part as it was all amazing! The English tea tour bus was worth the money and effort. Our guides Ola and Monica were sweethearts and very well accommodative! Would highly recommend if you want to see all of London on a bus but want a light bite to eat and a few treats ☺️

Afternoon tea bus

Nice friendly staff on board. I had a gluten free option, sandwiches were nice and soft. Good fillings. Cakes weren't the best unfortunately. Cold drinks served for the 1st half then hot drinks and warm scones for the second half. The boarding process was a mess. No one could hear if they were being called for their bus. Definitely need a better system. Tour was 25 mins late, due to traffic. Obviously not their fault. Drinks were OK. Cannot fault the staff, wonderful and friendly Overall a good experience

Staff member Ella was simply the best!!

We traveled on Saturday and were met by the incredible Ella who not only was arranging everything at the bus stop but also ending up looking after us on the bus tour. We were celebrating a 95th birthday so we wanted it to be memorable. Ella was so welcoming of our mother/ grandmother. Gave her a huge hug, small gift and chocolate rose. On the bus Ella was joined by Monica and Luiza who were all simply amazing. We felt so welcome and looked after. We felt so lucky to be on the same bus as these wonderful ladies. The tour was excellent and your staff made it perfect. Thank you to your driver Kahlil for ensuring the bus was parked appropriately so we could get the wheelchair on and off the bus. Thank you

Definitely recommendable - a great way of seeing London

If you like sightseeing tours, this is the one for you! Afternoon tea in a different way. We had so much fun with a glass of prosecco, cakes and sandwiches and even a warm scone to enjoy while seeing London! The staff was really nice and you could see that they also had fun! We can highly recommend this tour!!

A great afternoon tea

Booked this tour for my daughter (6yrs) and mum (62yrs) as a Mother’s Day treat. On arrival the staff introduced themselves, very friendly (Ola, Monica and Fernande) and upgraded us to the upper deck as it was available. The staff were very attentive, polite and professional throughout. The journey was quite slow and Fernande drove with care. My daughter was given a free replica of a golden tours tour bus, she was very impressed. The staff offered to take photos for us which was nice. Nothing was too much trouble for them!. The food was nice and real cutlery was used, the macaroons and biscuits were a hit. And to top it off we got to keep the tea/coffee cups as a souvenir. I would definitely recommend.

Disappointed

We were a few minutes late and called to let them know that our flight got seriously delayed but se would make it five minutes late and they still left without us.

A Fun London Experience!

Guides Chandni and Aurora and driver Ivan were amazing on our afternoon tea bus tour! The sightseeing was top tier and the food was delicious! Would HIGHLY recommend if you find yourself in London!
