Worth the Money

I can not recommend this tour enough!! At first I was on the fence because of how expensive it is but the tour proved to be well worth every penny. We were some of the very first people in line for the Tower of London and some of the few who got to see the opening ceremony. We were also some of the first to see the Crown Jewels. In some rooms, I was the only one there. It truly was a magnificent experience to see the jewels with no crowd. We were given an hour to self explore the Tower of London and towards the end of the hour I thought I’d go back to see the jewels one more time. The line was out the door! It was a blessing we got there as early as we did. Our tour guide Louise was funny, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She pushed us through crowds and always made sure we got the best experience. She told story after story about London’s history. Louise was definitely one of the biggest reasons behind me recommending this tour. All in all, it might be expensive but you get sooooo much out of it. I promise you will agree that it is worth it

Ian is excellent

Ian was wonderful. He had hilarious stories. Learned so much about this area and the history. He had so many good stories about the royal family, places, and more.

Something to do

Started at the tower very nice guide Crown Jewels we’re beautiful to see hopped on a ferry. day I picked was no changing of the guards walked around a very crowed area walked to Buckingham palace lots going on. I could have done this on our own but I like getting history information from a guide.

Well worth it!

Excellent tour! An easy way to get to see a lot of London pomp and circumstance, get some history and see some highlights. The tower is an excellent place to stroll around and learn so much. Getting in first to see the Crown Jewels is a must as the queue was an hour or two wait when we came out. Watching the ceremonies of changing of the guards three times in one morning was amazing. Buckingham palace is of course a gorgeous sight to behold. Nathalie knew where to take us for excellent viewing. Book this tour- it is well worth it.

Highly Recommend

Very interesting and enjoyable tour. Our guide David was very knowledgeable and enjoyable. Early access to the tower was great. Also enjoyed the boat ride and Westminster.

Definitely worth it!

I absolutely adore London and England in general. I feel at home there and have been there over 8 times. This is a perfect thing to do if it’s your first time or if you’ve never had time prior.

Grat tour

Jeremy was a great guide, very knowledgable and professional and kept the tour very interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

Meeting point difficult to locate as the guide/ not clearly identified. Waste of money for me!!

Never saw the Tour and never located the Tour guide at the specified meeting point. I was there at 9:15 am as directions specified. No flag or identification for the group.

Worth it!

Natalie our guide was amazing! Very informative and with a bit of humor. It kept my 18 year old son even entertained. I would highly recommend. Being first to see the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London was very much worth the ticket price. No lines. Thank you Natalie!

Great tour hitting some London highlights

This was a great tour, a very time efficient way to see some of the main sites in London. Our tour guide Natalie was personable and informative. The kids and adults in our group enjoyed this tour.

Windsor Castle

Our guide Phil and driver Pat were exceptionally great. Phil took the time to get to know everyone. His knowledge of the castle and Oxford was a great help. I would recommend Evan Evan’s tours to anyone.

Wonderful experience

This is one to do!

This was a fabulous tour! I highly recommend. Being first in line to watch opening ceremony with a Beef Eater and hand off of the Tower's keys was great! Plus, you are already in the Tower of London and get to beat the crowds to view the jewels, the castle, etc. Boat ride down the Thames was nice. We did not see changing of the guard but great walking tour from The Thames to Buckingham Palace.

Isabel Makes the Tour an Adventure

Isabel was outstanding and made the Tower of London come to life. Her stories were fun, historically accurate, and provocative to the imagination. She amplified her voice well and was insightful beyond the tour, even giving recommendations on shows to see while in London. Much appreciated!

Book This One!

Absolutely the best tour. Our guide, Andrea or Andre, was the best guide that I’ve ever had. This was a 4-1/2 tour and he spoke the entire time telling us the background to everything we saw. We toured the London Tower, rode a boat, walked through the city to Buckingham Palace and were lucky enough to watch the rehearsal parade for the King’s birthday. Our guide took us on routes to avoid large crowds and see some of the hidden pubs. All along he explained the builds, history and background. Even my grandson thought that it was the best tour that we’ve taken in the four countries that we have visited.

Ask for Louisa!

Louisa was an amazing guide she was a great story teller, kept the flow of the day moving and was so positive. There was a blip on transportation, but she made sure we found a new route and saw everything!

Great tour!

So much history learned! I would recommend this tour to all that appreciate history and learning fun facts about London. Tim could have not been nicer and made sure we all were engaged and comfortable. Must do!!!

Not good

Tower of London tour part was good. Thames River cruise is just taking Uber boat to get to Westminster area. While at Westminster “walking tour”, tour guide did not use microphone and could not hear anything she said. Definitely feel was not with the cost. Tour guide also awkwardly was asking for tips. We took 3 different tours while in London with different companies. This one was the least liked by all members of our group.

Great tour don’t miss it!

David was wonderful and passionate about London. He was funny and kind …..former police officer and had some great stories as well as restaurant recommendations!

Easy to find the tour organizer at designated spot. Nathalie did a great job. She was funny, told such interesting stories and did a great job of keeping everyone together.

Disappointed

The landmarks of the walking tour was good. Our guide was not as clear in the meeting points after going through the Crown Jewels at The Tower London. She was very hard to hear with 20 people in our tour. Wished she had a flag.

Excellent Tower of London with Westminster walk

We used Viator for the first time when we booked the "Best of London: Tower of London, Thames & Changing of the Guard" tour on May 19th . This was also our first visit to London, so we were unsure what to expect. I am happy to report that everything was seamless and we were very pleased with everything. We met our guide, Jeremy, outside the Tower, and had no difficulties in either finding the meeting point or checking in. He gave us a good overview of the history on the tower and then led us inside. We were able to witness the changing of the guard ceremony, which was very interesting. We then had around a hour to look on our own, so we immediately went to see the crown jewels, which are impressive to view. I definitely advise going their first thing after you enter, as this is a wise move which will enable you to beat the crowds, which soon appear. From there, we then met Jeremy outside and we boarded a boat for a short ride down the Thames, where we disembarked at Westminster. our guide then led us on a stroll though the area, giving us many interesting facts along the way. The tour ended at Buckingham Palace, which was a just a short walk back to our hotel. Overall, we were extremely pleased with this tour. Jeremy was an excellent guide, as he made this both educational and humorous. My family was also extremely impressed with his knowledge on the subject. The complete tour lasted around 3 hours, but the time went by quickly as it was so entertaining. The only thing I would have added would have been a little more time at the tower to explore, as we did not get to go to the white tower or explore the grounds as fully as we would have wished. However, I would highly recommend this tour and book it again, as I believe the value received for the price paid was well worth it.

Fun, informative tour

Great start to a London Trip

David was our tour guide. We chose the opening ceremony tour. The opening ceremony was need to see, plus they got you in to see the Crown jewels before anybody else. With only an hour to tour the Tower of London, it can be pretty rushed to see everything you want to, but our guide told us to see the Crown jewels and the White Tower. Then we took the boat ride down to Westminster Abbey. They were not doing the changing of the guards because of the weather so we got a tour around the Abbey and Buckingham Palace instead. David did a great job making sure everybody was able to keep up. The walking pace was not too fast, but there was plenty of walking . Would definitely recommend.

Must Sees in London

Tour guide was fantastic....very informative and also funny...Great stories. Tower of London is a must see. Also really enjoyed walking around Westminster....so much to see. Covered alot of ground for a half day tour. Well worth it.

Best way to have fun, and see London's sites

Our tour was awesome! Our guide, Mark, made the whole experience. He was very informative, but not dry and boring. He made everything so interesting with his wit and extra tidbits. He was very engaging, and involved everyone in the group. We say all of the sites noted on the tour, and he pointed things out and told stories of other things as we were walking. Just a caution, it is a lot walking, so be prepared. But we'll worth it!!

Great Value

Great tour. Really good balance of price, convenience, and things to see. Isabella was an absolute treat. She brought a really fun energy to the group. Happily answered all our questions and gave recommendations. We have done a bunch of tours and this is the first time we finished with everyone we started with—well done Isabelle for keeping us all together!

An enjoyable tour to Tower of London

The tour of Tower of London by City Wonder tour guide Linda was informative and fun. Without a tour, it would be harder to appreciate what a treasure the place is. The crown jewels did not disappoint. The rest of the tour was equally good. Thanks to Linda for a memorable tour.

Great guide!

Tour guide (forgot his name - been almost 2 weeks - May 8th - 8:45 am tour) was top notch! Observations of other guides from other companies proved to us how very good he is! Wish I could give his name so he gets credit. As for tour itself - Tower of London was as expected and walk up to Buckingham palace informative.
