Confused Upon Arrival to the UK

We were taken to the wrong location and got to the front desk only to have a scare that the hotel was not open to the public. After contacting travel agent and doing some research it was discovered that we were taken to the wrong location. However, the address given was the correct one. There was a strong language barrier on top of it.

Take a cab!!

It was awful ! The driver did not show up in time. We were the last ones to leave the port drenched from the rain. The office staff is rude. The driver was not welcoming at all with a huge attitude! Never again! A taxi from the port to central London is half the price of the tour !

Awful!

Pickup arrived 45 minutes late!!! Van had old dirty cups and papers food papers in it. Driver dressed unprofessionally. And Dropped off at the wrong terminal!!!!!

Drive from Southampton to London was good. Sabrina as an excellent driver, very safe, helpful and informative . I would highly recommend Viator transfer service to friends.

Ride to hotel

Our driver was 45 minutes late with no texting to let us know he was going to be late. Otherwise we got to our hotel safely.

Definitely would NOT want to try to drive that trip on my own!

Nothing to report. Trip took a little longer than planned due to heavy traffic. Streets are just crazy here in London!

Good driver in difficult conditions.

The driver was very pleasant. He did a great job of driving in very congested traffic. He was very helpful when we arrived at our hotel.

Uncomfortable trip

Very overcrowded van. Because driver made an error recognizing our name, we were last in the van and had to sit up front. Very uncomfortable. The trip was extremely stressful due to the speed with which she drove. I would never recommend this service or speeding driver.

Very late pickup causes stress for us!

The pickup was one hour late! This was truly stressful since we needed to arrive at the airport (Heathrow) in time for our international flight home. Once the we were on our way the driver was a very good getting us to our destination in time to catch it flight.

Misleading description by Viator!!!

We booked transportation from the cruise port to the airport. The description said shared transportation in a comfortable vehicle. We were supposed to be picked up at 9am, which we were picked up at 9am but then transported to another cruise terminal and loaded into a bus and had to wait an hour for the 30 other people to get off their ship and into the bus. We did not leave the 2nd cruise terminal until almost 10am! This was not what we signed up for! The description should have said transportation in a bus not comfortable vehicle....very misleading. Shame on you Viator

Five star personalized service!

My husband and I were happily surprised to find a Mercedes Benz with the driver waiting our arrival. He, Andre even telephoned us via WhatsApp. Amazingly clean car kept by Andre with excellent driving skills. Very impressed with the service. Andre even brought all our luggage up the steps into the hotel lobby. Will definitely get this service once again. Thank you for organizing such efficiency!

There needs to specific instructions as to the time and place for pickup. Also a usable phone number for USA phones

We arrived in the designated area only to find no one to help us locate our ride. After much questioning we still had no answer. We waited for quite a while in case the ride was just late. Still nothing. We then hired a taxi to take us our hotel. An hour after the prescheduled I found 2 phone possible from the driver. I don’t know for sure as no message was left

Bait and switch

Well, we were expecting a van that holds six people and not having to wait for a large bus. we expected it to be a 2 Hour drive which ended up being over four hours. Mainly due to traffic. Suffice it to say that I had to beg the driver to open the bathroom after 3 1/2 hours of driving. He noted to me that the company keeps it locked. Other than that, it just took a few minutes to originally find the driver as they were not looking for me.

Feeling hot hot hot!!!

Great driver, poor vehicle!!! Van didn’t have air conditioning for the second and third row and we were sweating but the he couple on the front row decided they didn’t want the a/c running or to open the windows !!! Bad policy for the remaining six passengers!!!

Bus missed hotel.

Coach was comfortable and Maria organized boarding in a professional manner. We were disappointed when our bus drove by our hotel. We had to walk an unexpected distance back. Note the hotel had a bus lane in front to unload passengers. We witnessed others were dropped off from this lane.

Not impressed.

Driver was late, prompting multiple calls to dispatch. Van was roomy, but bumpy. We asked to stop once during the three hour journey for a bathroom, but he forgot.

It sucked…

I paid for a private shuttle for a 0730 pick up, but that was changed without informing me. What I got was a 0900 group shuttle (packed with 8 passengers and or driver) that did not leave the terminal until after 1000. We had not gotten what I expected or paid for.

Professional

Out experience with Viator was a very good one. The driver was professional and courteous; we did not have any issues.

Unhappy in London

I would never book with this company again. They offer no refunds if you make a mistake or change your mind, even months in advance. We booked a ride from Southhampton to Heathrow. Then we found out that our ship was coming into Portsmouth. And, our ship would offer us s free ride to Heathrow. We paid them over $300 and got no services. Most Viator services allow money back until 24 hours ahead. We hope Viator drops this company from their listings..

Awful

After I booked and paid, I was told I had to pay an extra fee because my hotel was too far away although every other transfer I booked this trip had no issue with the location. When the driver arrived, he parked on the complete opposite side of the parking lot. I had my elderly mother with me and when we got to the the van, the driver said he hadn’t bought a booster step yet so I needed to get in and pull my mom in the van myself.

Great way to get from the cruise pier to our London Hotel. We ended up getting a private car which took us directly to our hotel.

The Worst Viator Travel Experience EVER

We were DUMPED OFF with six pieces of luggage at the hotel loading dock Our driver was late….and had no clue where the London Marriott was located Absolutely the WORST travel experience Be careful when using this service from Viator

Ship never went back to dover so I did not use the services. I told viator so hope they did not go and wait for us

When we arrived at the port, we had no trouble finding the driver to take us to the airport. It was timely.

Not what I expected, and would choose some thing else

There seem to be no central point where we were told to meet our driver, who we were under the impression from the picture was driving a small bus or van. As it turns out, we were on a full-size charter bus which filled up with people and took four hours to get us to our destinations in central London. Part of that was due to having to drop off passengers at locations in several places prior to hours had I known this was a charter bus that would take four hours I would certainly have booked some thing else my wife and her sister took some thing, arranged by the cruise company, got a tour of the city, and still arrived at our hotel before we did. There was one stop on the way for people to go to the bathroom and maybe get a quick snack, but that was it, and there was no bathroom on the bus. Certainly not something I would do again.

Seamless Travel Experience

We were a little anxious about this leg of our trip, but our worries were unfounded. The company and driver made everything work seamlessly and we were dropped off at Heathrow's Terminal 2 without a hitch.

Aggravating, horrible, never again!!!! Poor poor customer service!!

Over an hour late and then we were put on an Asian tour group only to take over 5 hours for a 2 hour transfer!!!! It seemed that they screwed up on our transferred and just threw us on this bus. There was another family that had the same thing happen. They represent transfer on a smaller bus and then through us on that bus. Horrible horrible experience!!! I asked for a partial refund for the inconvenience, additionall costs due to intl phones snd a missed tour that was scheduled due to the 5 hour transfer snd local office denied. I will be writing a letter to Viator headquarters once home explaining my first experience (which was a no show) and this one. Someone needs to be respofor this horrible service!!!!! I

Dover cruise terminal to London

Arranging and communicating with the company was effortless. Our driver Carlos Luis was very courteous and profesional. Drove us from the Dover cruise terminal to our hotel in Kensington. Definitely would use the services again.

Great service!

The driver was a little early which worked out great. The driver met us with a sign that had my name in it. Driver was very courteous and even stopped on the 2 hour drive for a bathroom break and snack. We were delivered right to our hotel door.

EXCELLENT TRANSFER SERVICE FROM THE CRUISE PORT

On June 4th, we arranged a transfer from the Southampton Cruise port to our London Hotel. The driver picked us up on time at the cruise port. The drive to the hotel was smooth. The driver was courteous and pleasant. The transfer provider was London Travel In Limited. The driver was a Brazilian gentleman.

The way to go

Our transfer from Southampton to our London hotel went well—no hitches. We would use this company again.

Miss leading service

We requested a car for 3 people and paid extra and when the car arrived at cruise terminal, they also had two other couples included in the ride, we had to go out of the way to drop them off at their destination making a 1hr 45 min ride turn into 3 hours. it was horrible. We paid premium for nothing. The driver was nice, it was not his fault. Will never use this company again. Two days later we took a regular taxi from London Hotel to Airport and was 1/3 the price.

If looking for a private transfer this is not it.

It might have been my fault for not reading well but I assumed this was a private transfer. It was a shared transfer. The driver was fine and courteous. However, there was zero communication prior to me calling the tour operator. Then confusion finding the van. Luckily we were dropped first but since it was shared we could have had unwanted time in the van.

Too small too many people

The van was too small for all the people and luggage. The driver did not completely help us with the luggage.

Bus overcrowded and unsafe

Pick up was on time but Bus was totally full. Bags were put in the floor in the aisle between the seats making the bus unsafe if we had needed to evacuate the bus.

Great service although a bit pricey.

Nice vehicle, very clean and spacious, friendly driver. Only complaint is that it was pricey, but door to door service was probably worth it.

No problems at all

The pickup was scheduled for 11am. The driver got there an hour earlier, which was fantastic since the weather was freezing and we would have been waiting for most of that hour anyway in a poorly heated area. Driver was courteous and pleasant, had my name on a screen, and was right where I was told he'd be. Can't ask for a better experience for a transfer to the airport.

Safe and Friendly

Carlos the driver was able to come early and get us to the airport early. I was able to contact him with whatsapp and let him know our cruise came in ear. The rain was horrible but we all felt very safe with Carlos. Thanks for a safe and friendly transfe4.

Driver Arriving One Hour Late.

Our pickup time was 7:30 AM because we needed to make a flight at Heathrow Airport. A 1 hour 30 minute trip. The driver didn't show until 8:00 AM and said that he had to wait for another fare that would arrive at 8:30AM. Then drove off leaving us standing at the curb. Meaning that we would have not been able to arrive at Heathrow in time to check-in and board our flight. We immediately found another ride and arrived at Heathrow a few minutes prior to the final check in time. I will be filing for a total refund from my credit card company.

.Delay and angst.

The most memorable part of the experience was waiting well beyond the scheduled pick up time for the driver to arrive and identify himself. Equally memorable was discovering that rather than a private transfer we were part of a small bus transfer which did not leave until an hour after the original scheduled departure.

Bad customer service

Completely messed up. Private car turned into a van with two other couples who were also supposed to have a private car. We all paid for the private car!

Late pickup

We waited an one and a half hours for the driver to arrive and then found out we were sharing the ride. The other guests were 35 minutes away from our hotel.

Great experience.

Perfect. On time, even came 30 early at our request. Straight drive to our hotel. Would recommend without reservation.!

Great door to door service

Driver was waiting right outside the cruise terminal holding a sign with my name on it. Very easy to locate. He was parked in a very convenient location near the covered walkway since it was pouring. He was also able to pull right up to the airport terminal. Bus was clean and comfortable.

Left Stranded at Cruise Terminal by London Travel in Limited and Viator

We booked this transfer through Viator with London Travel in Limited for a transfer from the QEII cruise terminal in Southampton to London Heathrow airport. As per their documentation, the driver was to meet us in the Arrivals Hall at 9 am holding a sign with our name on it. We disembarked the ship and were in the Arrivals Hall at 8:35 am. I looked all around looking for someone with a sign with our name on it. None to be found. At 9:00 am I began asking every private transfer person that was there if they were there for us. They were not. I made one email and had three phone calls to London Travel in Limited, the first at 9:03 am. The agent said the driver was in the area and would be there in 10-15 minutes. He never came. The second call I was on hold for ten minutes and hung up. I then got a call back at 9:35 am from them and that agent said the driver had been there and left because he didn't see us. That's just not true. He then asked what HOTEL we were at. I said we're in the QEII cruise port and why didn't you already know that? I told him we had to take a taxi to get to LHR and that I wanted a refund. Once we got home, I made two written requests to Viator for a refund. Both were denied because London Travel in Limited said we weren't there to be picked up. They either went to somewhere other than the QEII cruise port or are just flat out lying. This this experience, I've seen many others have had a similar experience with London Travel in Limited and Viator. Terrible companies.
