Great tour of North Lombok

Thank you to our guide Nasri for making our tour of North Lombok great. Nasri is very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was well planned, and we got to see the main sites of North Lombok on our short visit.

Really recommend this tour!

A wonderful day out! We had so much fun visiting the waterfalls! Our tour guides were amazing too - and even brought some local sweet treats for the car journey! We also had a photographer come along who made a beautiful album of our day and a reel for Instagram too!! Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a great day. And it’s Such good value for money! The waterfalls are stunning and a must see! We were then taken to a little traditional village where they were all having a little celebration, and then we walked through some rice paddies! We were even taken home via the monkey forest as we hadn’t seen it yet! Really recommend this tour!

Go for it, really.

My guide Junaidi arrived with his very reliable driver Jaya exactly on time for my hotel pick up. The van was clean, comfortable, well air conditioned with plenty of bottled water. On the way to the waterfalls, Junaidi proved very personable and well informed by answering all my questions about the climate, culture, religions, politics, regions and daily life in Lombok. We were met at the waterfall area by easy going yet safety conscious Ruden who was my guide through the rain forest and to the 2 waterfalls. Physically this walk was minimally challenging as climbing steps, walking on rocks and walking through streams were involved. But oh so worth it. The incredible sight of the waterfalls was only surpassed by standing under them. The strength of the falling water and the cold temperature of the water forced me to scream out in joy and in fear as well. Nothing sort of exhilarating. We all should wake up this way. The return trip to my hotel was again relaxed and very comfortable as my conversations with Junaidi were enlightening as well as a pleasure. In short I had quite a remarkable day in Indonesia. I expect you would have the same.

Great views of North Lombok

Stunning views overall! Our guide Arie took loads of photos during the tour. Wadi (the local guide) was very tentative and held me and my friend’s hands whenever the terrains got a bit challenging. The tour was well planned- a few landmarks visited and a nice little spot for lunch. Recommend overall:)

Great waterfalls!

Arie was so great with his photo taking and did his best to make sure we are comfortable and enjoy ourselves. The tour route is a bit tough for me but managed it just fine with Arie and Wadi's guidance.

Amazing guide and experience!

We went on a day trip to see two waterfalls at the foot of Mt Rinjani with our guide Akbar and our driver Mr Samsul. On the way, Akbar told us us many interesting facts about the island of Lombok, and kept us entertained through the whole drive. We had several stops to take in the views, feed some monkeys and take some great pictures. The drive itself was around 1.5-2hrs, but the time flew by listening to Akbar’s hilarious jokes. Once we got to Senaru village, we started the short hike to the waterfalls. It’s a good idea to bring waterproof shoes or sandals for part of the hike where you wade through the water as well as a change of clothes and towels if you’re planning on going under the waterfall. Although just walking up to the waterfall was extremely refreshing. The local guide for this section was extremely friendly and helpful On the way back we were able to stop at a masjid to catch Asr salat in jamaat. We also got to take in the amazing view from Malimbu hill. Overall it was an amazing trip with excellent views, and it was great learning more about Lombok from Akbar. He convinced us that we need to visit Lombok again for longer in the future, and we’d love to have him show us around again when we do!

Spectacular sight, worth the effort.

Collected as arranged from our hotel on time. Our guide, Nasri was welcoming and friendly. Approximately a 90 minute journey from Senggigi (with a fast driver!) to our first stop which was the first mosque in Lombok and traditional house. A short onward journey brought us to a small Cafe/ restaurant near the entrance to the park. We then met up with a further guide to take us to the waterfalls. The first one was fairly easily accessible through well made paths and numerous steps. Time was given for us to enjoy the view and be showered by the waterfall. This area had a few shacks where drinks and snacks could be purchased. We sampled the lombok coffee, worth a try. The second waterfall involved a much more strenuous walk. You would require moderate fitness and agility, the guides were great helping. Surfaces are very uneven and you cross the river twice, wear good shoes. The second waterfall was even more spectacular, and rewards the effort you put in to get to it. Again time was allowed to enjoy it, before returning for lunch at the restaurant. This was very tasty and freshly cooked to order. The journey back involved some more fast driving and overtaking, to get us back to the hotel around 4.30. Nasri kindly took many photos and videos during yhe day and transferred them to my phone during the journey back. An unforgettable day, but be aware the terrain isn't always easy, but worth the effort for a memorable experience.

Wonderful Lombok

Beautiful waterfalls! You walk down some stairs to sendang gile waterfall. To Tiu Kelep waterfall you have to hike twenty minutes along a river with glitchy stones. The way itself is also very nice. The Tiu Kelep is Just astonishing! Thank you Bale Laut Tour!

The tour was really amazing! Their guide took us around al the beautiful places and waterfalls. Both were very friendly and gave us a real good vibe. They did everything for us, so we could enjoy every minute of the trip ! Get experience to enjoy these beautiful waterfall in Lombok. The myth when you take a shower in that waterfall you will stay young haha. Well, thank you so much guys!

Attractive

On an admittedly iclement day, the premises seemed to be unusually uncrowded. Affordability, ease of access, and proximity to Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfall made it increasingly attractive.

Junaidi So Fanny

The trekking was not bad with Guide Junaidi who was So Fanny... About 45 minutes. So that you are not too tired when you go home, you can take an alternative route, namely the water tunnel. The route is safe. There are also lots of guides there. It's also safe for solo traveling 👍 don't forget to wear suitable footwear for trekking because the terrain is quite challenging

One of the most amazing waterfalls in Lombok

Can bathe under the waterfall. The water is fresh and cold. The place is well managed. There is a parking lot, there is a gazebo, there are traders, there are entrance tickets too. To get to this waterfall, you have to go down dozens of stairs. It's a little tiring but it will all be worth it with the beauty of the Sendang Gile waterfall. Avoid coming during the rainy season.

Over all recommendation

If you're feeling crazy, that's okay... It's better to just blink, I recommend it... The walk takes 30 minutes or less with a beautiful forest and river atmosphere... So close to the waterfall, it's quivering, wow, it's amazing!!!... After the earthquake, Tiu Kelep now has no pool, now it is covered with rocks. The path also changed. Now it's over the river, don't worry, the path has been provided, it's neat and nice, made of rocks wrapped in wire nets... If you want to take fun photos at Tiu, please provide a waterproof case / bring a camera / cellphone that is weather shielded / waterproof. Because the water is pounding and flying, the water looks like rain...

Amazing waterfall, a long journey from Mataram but paid off with an amazing view of the waterfall even though it was quite tiring going down and climbing dozens of stairs.
