Nice Way To See Piza an Florence In Private

Punctual, efficient and good driver

Great time with Francesco. We were traveling with 4 adults and a baby. He was a very good driver and was attentive to our needs. He showed us the highlights of Pisa and took us to Florence for some scenic spots and some shopping.

What a fantastic, comfortable and timely tour! Our guide Francesco was great, very communicative before and during the trip. He gave us insight into both Pisa and Florence. We loved this trip because it was the opposite of many alternates to cruise tours from Livorno, starting in Pisa instead of Florence. We were so grateful to have the quiet morning in Pisa, and take our time to enjoy the architecture there. Francesco had water and air conditioning available in the van, the seats were very comfortable and there was plenty of room in the back of the van for our travel wheelchair. He gave us a brief tour of Florence city by car before dropping us of near a market, and also gave us great advice on shopping, sites to visit and a place for lunch. We were so impressed with this tour!

Great experience in Pisa & Florence! Very helpful communication.

Francesco is an experienced, courteous professional. He dropped up close to the leaning tower in Pisa, then got us quickly to Florence so we could maximize our time in the city. He suggested a brief stop at Piazzale Michelangelo on the way for a great view overlooking the city. He then gave us a quick tour of the general lay out of the main sites and was right on time to take us back to the ship. The van was top notch transportation with wifi on board. We had a great day. Professional, knowledgeable and fun.

Had Francesco as a driver and he really made the day a breeze for us. He was so nice, professional and was just such a great guy to talk to and about the city as he drove us around. He gave great advise and recommendations while also being very flexible with what we’d already had planned.

Driver from cruise port to Pisa and Florence and return to port

Francesco was a great driver and tour guide. He was on time and waiting for us at the arranged meeting point. He went over and above to make out trip a memorable one! The vehicle was clean and comfortable.

AMAZING!!!

This will be a long story but please read. I originally booked this excursion without knowing we would be docking at La Spezia port instead of Livorno. I contacted the driver Francesco the day before to notify him that I screwed up on the ports and could he pick us up from the other port. He agreed to do so for a small fee since it was 1.5hrs away from the other port, I agreed to pay it when he arrived. Well there was a huge wreck on the highway that caused major delays, he notified me that he was running a little behind for our pickup. Once he arrived he discussed our options for going to Florence and Pisa and told us it would take twice as long to get there due to the traffic being redirected. We insisted that we still wanted to go and had the time to do so. On our way out of town my dad started having heart attack symptoms and we were forced to turn around and get him help. He stayed so calm and knew what to do! He got us to a police station where they were able to call us an ambulance for him. I rode with my Dad in the ambulance and he drove my family to the hospital. After arriving at the hospital with my dad I noticed that he and my family were already there waiting for us. We were at the hospital for 7hrs. (by the way, it's really like a 3rd world country-socialized medicine sucks!) This man stayed in the parking lot of the hospital for the entire 7hrs and checked on us regularly and even drove my daughter and friend to get food at one point. When my dad was released he was there waiting and brought the car to him so he wouldn't have to walk. He even called the cruise ship port and got permission to enter the port to take us directly to the ship. He said in 10yrs of doing these excursions he has never been allowed to enter the port. I give him 5stars but would give him 50 if I could!!! He was such a blessing!!! I tried to pay him the money I owed him for coming to the other port and he wouldn't take it! If you are wanting to book a cruise excursion from Livorno or La Spezia, Italy please use Francesco......HE IS AMAZING!!!!

He was so amazing and accommodating. Would definitely use his service again. He took us all over the place. We actually needed a pharmacy and he was helpful in finding one.

Wonderful layout. Francesco - our driver - was the best. Very helping. The 6 of us really loved this experience.

Nod concerned about passenger safety.

We never docked due to a decision by the captain, he claimed dangerous weather condition's. I contacted the driver and Viator ad soon as I heard about a refund and was denied.

Truly fabulous to have a driver to get you from place to place quickly and efficiently.

We were so lucky to have this driver when we did. It was raining and often pouring most of the day. The driver would take us wherever we wanted to go, provided umbrellas, and waited close for us to return. He even made a lunch reservation for us. It was well worth the money especially since my mother has mobility issues. We saw so much! I would do it again even without my mother along.

Highly recommend this trip and Francesco

Francesco was an incredible driver. He gave us all kinds of information along our tour to Pisa and Florence. The tour was superb. We were able to see both Pisa and the statue of David in the Academia as well as have a delicious lunch at a location recommended by Francesco. Thank you for an amazing trip!!

DISAPPOINTED

I don't recomend this tour. Our driver, Francisco, was a driver only. WE felt lost both at Pisa and in Florence. The tour would be MUCH better if it included a GUIDE.

Great day with family!

Our driver, Francisco was amazing! He did a fantastic job! He drove us to places we wanted to see all day long. He was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. He made the whole day fun!!

Nothing better than a private tour with your wife and a knowledgeable private driver

A private car tour to Pisa and dropped off close to the leaning tower. Fluoresce was wonderful the driver was able to drive into the city center and dropped us off close to a very wonderful quite restaurant. The driver was knowledgeable of area with interesting facts. A private tour is the way to go. You can direct and no extra walking. My wife and I very much enjoyed this tour.

Florence and Piza

Francesco was amazing. We had time in Piza and the travelled to Florence. He made sue we had time to explore and made sure we were well equipped for the day! Hitting all the places for photos!

Fantastic

Fredrick was fantastic and very accommodating. Very knowledgeable but not obtrusive. Was right outside port and ready. Gave us plenty of time in Pisa and Florence. We were party of 8 and he did a wonderful job of herding cats. We had no problem returning to ship in time. We had his service for a full 9 hours. Van was comfortable and had a great air conditioner. I highly recommend his service over Holland’s. Bravo

A great day in Pisa and Florence.

Francesco is a gem! Professional, knowledgeable and a great driver. He asked us what we wanted to do and then set out to achieve that in the most timely and effective way. He took us from the cruise terminal to Pisa giving us insights into the local history, dropped us off in Pisa to look around at our leisure and then took us off to Florence. Having given us a tour showing us the best views and the most famous sights he then recommended we have a couple of hours sightseeing by ourselves and told us of a great place for lunch. He had us back to the ship in good time at the end of our day. A great experience! Highly recommended!

Wonderful time even with the heat & crowds!

Had a wonderful driver Francesco who was very nice and accommodating to our wishes. Spoke wonderful English so he could tell us about the wonderful things we were seeing through the countryside on our way to Pisa & Florence. Would definitely request him again if we come again or to our family & friends!!

Fun time in Florence/Pisa

Stefan was very knowledgeable of the area. He brought us a a close to sitters as possible. He was easy to communicate with when we were ready to be picked up. We had a great time!

Francesco is the best!

Francesco was extremely friendly and professional. Was very informative along the route. We decided to stop at a winery we researched and he was extremely accommodating and patient. Someone in our group was not feeling well and he was very accommodating. Like family. It’s a long drive but he made it interesting and time flew by.

Fun guide, Cool ride

Francesco was a wonderful guide. He was right on time and enjoyable to talk to. The van was very clean, had great a/c, and bottles of water ready for us. We went to Pisa first, then to Florence. We cut our day a little short because my 83 yo mom was struggling a little bit with the walking around Florence. So, Francesco took us by his home to show my husband and sons his cars. We met his wife and boys and it was lovely. I highly recommend Francesco!

Fantastic Tuscan guide and tour.

We had a great time with Francesco. He picked us up at the scheduled time and place. He immediately asked us what we wanted to do and actually listened to us. Within minutes we were headed to Pisa where he gave us ample time to take photos and wander around. After that we made our way to Florence. There was an accident on the freeway so he took us on the backroads through the Tuscan countryside where we were able to photograph some hilltop villas, vineyards and olive groves. Then it was down into Florence, first to Michelangelo square where we could view the entire city and then into the city itself. He gave us a quick tour in the van, giving us directions of where to go and what to see, then let us out to wonder around for a couple of hours on our own. He even suggested a very nice spot for lunch and it was a great place to eat. He picked us up on time and had us back to our ship in time for dinner. A simply fantastic day.

Livorno with group of friends

Francesco was our driver and tour guide. He was fun and very easy to understand as he speaks multiple languages. He gave us very good tips as we venture the city. I will highly recommend him. He’s the best!
