The only way to see Pisa and Florence

Private tours are the way to go. The tour was excellent. My guide was Giuliano. We arrived at Pisa early and escaped the crowds which allowed for a thorough tour of the leaning tower, Cathedral, and surrounding town. The visit to Florence was equally rewarding with Giuliano covering the history and culture of the city and area. During the tour chose a visit to the Uffizi Museum of Art which should not be missed and ample time was allowed for hitting the high-lights of this fantastic house of historical art and culture. Giuliano suggested an excellent, non-tourist, restaurant for an amazing lunch with a stop up the street for real made-on-site Italian gelato. Giuliano is a real conversationalist adding antidotal stories at each stop. I not only recommend this tour, but I recommend asking specifically for Giuliano as your driver/guide.

"Made" our day in Italy

From pre-planning with Ubaldo to the tour day with Giuliano, it was a fabulous experience. MMDII was extremely responsive and a great help in customizing our plans for the day prior to the trip. Spending the day with Giuliano was an absolute treat. His humor, knowledge, flexibility, and passion made our time in Pisa/Florence so memorable. We still talk about stories from our day together. I highly recommend booking MMDII (and Giuliano as your driver)!

Florence and Tuscany an Awesome Tour!

We had an absolutely amazing time on our tour with Giuliano! He was a terrific host. He was very knowledgeable, considerate, conversational and entertaining (he even sang for us!). Giuliano was very prompt and made sure we were back to our cruise ship in plenty of time. On our tour of Tuscany, Giuliano took us to Pisa, Lucca, and to a beautiful winery where we had lunch with a wine paring. It was fabulous! We had one request and that was to see the home of Andrea Bocelli, and boy did Giuliano deliver!! Not only did we see his home and beach resort, we met and spoke with Andrea Bocelli! I would highly recommend Giuliano as your driver and host of Florence and Tuscany. It was a memorable experience!!

Organized cruise tour

Giuliano organized a tour with 3 vans for the whole family. We were 17 people and optimized the time on our visit to Pisa and Florence. It certainly made our day trip experience from Livorno as we were coming on a cruise. even with an accident on the road, drivers chose an alternative route that allowed us to arrive on time and continue our trip. without hesitation, 100% we will repeat. thank you.
