We had an amazing day exploring Florence and Pisa. Our guide Sabrina was so fun and energetic and knowledgeable! She communicated very well on where to meet and times at our different stops, so everything kept on pace and ran smoothly.

Superb Florence & Leaning Tower of Pisa Shore Excursion!

We loved that we were able to visit both Florence and Pisa in the same day with a guaranteed return to our cruise ship on time. The guides, Sabrina and Igna, were informative and entertaining on the bus ride.

Stranded in Pisa by Alice from Shore Emotion

SHORE EMOTION TOURS. I am writing in regards to a recent tour my husband and I took called "Discover Pisa and The Leaning Tower" on September 15, 2024. Tour time of 10:30 with Alice. We took the shuttle from the pier, that the Norwegian Epic Cruise Ship provided for us. We met Alice, then embarked on a fun tour of seeing Pisa. She spoke broken English so fast, and then repeated everything in Italian it was difficult to follow. We had such high hopes, since this was the 4th excursion from your company we attended on this trip. Our tour left late because of late arrivals. Alice assured us she would give us extra time at the end of the tour. She walked us through the arch of Piazza dei Miracoli and some of us, over to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, and then shooed us away to explore on our own. We met Alice early at the designated meeting point for our 20 minute walk back to the parking lot, to catch the bus to the shuttle. Since we were early, she suggested we shop at the 2nd stall, and give them her name because the owner is her friend. I said sure I will take a look at his t-shirts. I purchased 2 shirts, and we turned around and the group was gone. We were so upset we couldn't even remember which way to turn. Imagine being in a foreign country, not speaking the language, and no one including several police officers, cab drivers, shop owners and locals and everyone tells you "no speak English". We eventually found our way to the bus parking lot. Our bus was gone. Then 3 city buses pull up with several police cars to block them. It was a scary situation. They would not help us either. We eventually found a cab to take us to the shuttle, at a cost of 82 Euros plus a $20 tip. Then the shuttle to our ship. Luckily we had 4 hours before our ship was departing. So, between the Tour, shuttle, taxi and tip we paid $274.00 to be stranded in a foreign country by Alice. At this point we are still very upset about this tour. Ariana is the best tour guide! She took us to the best places in Florence and Pisa as time permitted. She even shared with us local tips to do in these places.

Bus tour from our ship.

We had a wonderful tour guide named Sabrina who was funny and knowledgeable. It was a rainy day but she made it fun and even arranged a train ride so we didn’t have to walk too far. We could have used more time in Florence but she marked a map with places to see and that was very helpful. Francisco was a great driver!

Good tour

Our tour was fantastic! The bus was clean and your guides were very good. They took us to the place that we needed to see and the tasting I find very good but the quantities were very little. A piece of bread and a piece of cheese. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The trip to Florence and Pisa met my expectations perfectly!

The trip to Florence and Pisa met my expectations perfectly. My cruise line's price of $329 for the same tour was significantly more than the under $55 I paid. Luca, my guide, was very accommodating and provided excellent recommendations for dining while ensuring the tour stayed on schedule. The bus was exceptionally clean and comfortable, making this an obvious choice that should be booked right away. The only aspect I might think twice about is the tasting, as it consumes a lot of time and isn’t really worthwhile. If your guide offers the option to take a shuttle train to the leaning tower for €5, definitely accept it! It’s quite a lengthy walk!

Good way to get to Florence and Pisa

This was a bus trip to Florence with optional wine and food tasting at a local restaurant, then drove to Pisa. Sabrina and Raul did a good job and supplied maps to guide you. She gave a little information on the bus, but it was not a guided tour. We had just enough time to see what we wanted in each place. The tasting was interesting.

Great shore excursion

Great bus ride to Florence & Pisa. If you’re coming from a cruise ship please allow yourself at least 45 minutes to get to the meeting point from the port. Our driver and guide was great, we were on time for both stops and our return to the ship. I wish they included & added the extra $5 euro’s pp for the train ride to Pisa. We didn’t have cash on us so looking for an ATM to get cash took some time away from us in Pisa. Other than that, have cash on you and this is an excellent tour to quickly see both Florence & Pisa.

Go with a resonable expectation and you will like the cities, but skip the tasting part.

The fair rating is not all the tour company's fault, our tour guide was excellent. The part that you shoud not participate is the tasting. We paid extra 10 euros pp for tasting in a local market, I was expecting some snacks/drinks, but got nothing but little 2 pieces .5 in cubes of bread dipped in olive oil. It is more of a market scheme with the local marchant. Then Florance and Pisa is not all that impressive. The pictures and travel books hipes gave us that ureasonable expectiation. Florence is pretty, but not as romantic as the pictures portrait. Pisa it is just Pisa. A leaning tower and church in the square. Even the tour is designed like that. 4 hours in Florence and an hour in Pisa. That is all the time you need in Pisa. It got check mark of places that I've been, It is not somewhere that I would want to go back again and again. Go with a resonable expectation and you will like the cities, but skip the tasting part.

Fantastic tour guide - Sabrina

Pick-up and drop-off points were easily accessible (after the port shuttle) and tour was on time. Arrived back at port with ample time to get back on the ship. Our tour guide, Sabrina, was amazing. She shared her knowledge of the area's history, landmarks, etc. Sabrina was humourous and caring throughout the tour. We highly recommend a tour with Sabrina.

Great experience with knowledgeable guides!!

Everything was seamless. The guides were amazing! They even set up a small train car to avoid the walk to the Tower! Highly recommend!!

Long ride no bathrooms

Tour did not take into account that there were elderly and disabled people on the tour. Ariana was walking on a pace more fit for teenagers. Also after a long bus ride to Florence many had to go to the bathroom and had to scramble to find a cafe to use it's bathroom. That should have been the #1 thing to think about

Bus ride

Too much time in the bus. Guides were great. Should have read the description closer. The tasting was disappointing, the place we went did not explain anything. Just food on the table. Again, the guides, Gabriel and Beatrice were fantastic!

Florence & Pisa whirlwind tour

Beatrice was a fantastic guide. Gabrielle was very friendly and helpful. Boris was a great driver which made for a smooth trip. There was a lot of free time but even then it was too brief. Looking forward to coming back to the Tuscan region.

Great tour and Super Guides and Bus Driver

Great tour! Gabrielle and Beatrice were great guides and shared lots of details about all the places we traveled. They also gave recommendations for places to eat! Bus driver was the Best!

Florence/Pisa transfer

The tour guides Gabrielle and Beatrice were amazing and made the drive very enjoyable with their funny banter. The bus driver Boris was by far the safest driver we have had in Europe so far. Drop off location was within walking distance of everything in town. We even got a 1 hour stop off to see Pisa. My only complaint is that the “meeting point” was in a pretty sketchy area, we had a homeless man screaming at us. Gabrielle handled the situation very well but maybe in the future choose a different meeting point!

Tuscany from Florence to Pisa !!

Boris, our driver, was incredible and we had great conversations over google translate. He is a gem. Also our guides Beatrice and Gabri were awesome, funny and enthusiastic. They taught us about Florence and Pisa and gave us great suggestions on places to visit and places to eat. This tour does have a lot of walking and by end of day we had almost 7 miles walked between both places. On way back to we drove past the largest American military base in Italy (camp derby), 2nd largest in Europe. We enjoyed the beautiful Duomo in Florence and other churches, squares, museums and historic sites and then went to Pisa to experience the leaning tower and cathedral and Baptistry. If you are happy to walk, and can handle some free time in a foreign land than you need to book shore emotion for this tour and ask for Boris to be your driver and Beatrice and Gabri to be your guides. My wife and I are tired but we enjoyed the day immensely and would love to come back and stay a week to see more of beautiful Tuscany!!

Eating through Florence

Gabriele, Bea and Boris were great. They gave great recommendations for food and things to see. They gave us a map of Florence with all of the important sights to see marked already. I would recommend the Florence plus Pisa tour.

Wonderful Day!

I took this excursion,311. Great group of people on the bus. The people of Italy are very welcoming. Great sights sounds and tastes. The best part of the tour was our tour leader. Sabrina. She is so knowledgeable,, funny.really takes pride in her work. I smile at the thought that somebody reading this may get the opportunity to meet her.! she made the trip.! I hope to see her again someday!

Horrible day

Instruction was confusing when Tour guide left us in a grocery market! And she left on our own for 2 hours! we got lost and got to the meeting point about 15 minutes late. She left with the group and when we asked how we can get back to Liverno to our cruise shuttle, which was one hour driving, she responded go back by the train with no instruction on how to get to the train station! it was a rainy day and we didn’t know where is the train station, she didn’t respond, we got panic, my daughter was crying, no body knew English in that area to help us, finally we got a taxi, paid $270 to go back to the cruise, and missed going to Pisa.

Get to see most of the important historic sites with lots of information given by the toir guide. Excellent route was taken.

Marvellous trip to Florence and Pisa

We went on this full day excursion to Florence and Pisa, booked on line before we went. We were on cruise ship Ambience. The excursion was marvellous, comfy coach, and our tour guide, Alice, was a wonderful guide, very informative and she spoke perfect English, the commentary was all done in English Spanish and Italian. We cannot praise her highly enough. Plenty of time to explore Florence and Pisa and we got back to the ship in plenty of time, in fact the driver went beyond the call of duty and dropped us right back in the docks to the ship. We recommend this excursion to anyone, it was much cheaper than the trip organized by the cruise company.

Easy of finding group for check in. Knowledge of tour guide shabrena. Clearly stated time of where to meet for next stop. Guide was able to set up a shuttle at piza for a couple of extra euros to take us back and forth to the tower. Very nice, great day

Great place to visit!

Luca did a great job keeping things organized while giving history and background of the area and what to do for the day. We got about 2.5hours of free time in Florence and a little over an hour in Pisa. We were able to see Michelangelo’s David and get down to palazzo vecchio to see the madonna del vecchio while get an excellent lunch in Florence - just plan ahead to utilize your time.

Great Day Trip

Very nice tour, and Beatrice was informative and able to answer any questions. Tour puts you in a quiet park in Florence that is surrounded by all the sites within a short walk. The stop in Pisa is normally a 15 minute walk to the Leaning Tower. Our guide, Beatrice, was able to secure a lical trolley train to and from the site for everyone for $5 each and gave us an extra 20 minutes to explore and take photos.

Very much worth the cost of the excursion.

Excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable of the area. Great pictures of Pisa and Florence. The guide had excellent suggestions for taking the best pictures and what the must see wold be at each location. She provided excellent advice.

Nice tour, but " tasting" is 100% disappointing g.

Sabrina was a great tour guide!!!!! But very disappointed with the "tasting"..it was bread and two toothpicks of products. Very disappointed

Amazing!!!! Do the smaller groups like this one

David was a fantastic guide. If you are considering going with the cheaper hop on hop off bus don't do it. With the smaller group and van you can be dropped off closer to the sights and a lot less walking. Also you can see 3x as much as the bus tours. David our guide was friendly , funny , and very knowledgeable. One of the best excursions we've ever done . Would absolutely recommend to anyone .

Florence Pisa whirlwind tour

Very nice trip! Sabrina was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would have liked more time in Florence, so much to see and just not enough time to see it. Pisa was nice 1 hour really is about all you need.

Tiring but all worth it…

Did the Livorno,Florence and Pisa tour..first off from the cruise port need a shuttle which cost 7 Euros per person ( return trip ) that took us to the city center. Sabrina our tour leader along with Claudio our driver were the best!!!!..it was a long day but Sabrina kept us informed with Italian culture and historical landmarks along the way, and even mapping our way through the streets of Firenze ( which is confusing without a map). Lastly, she and Claudio brought us all back on time to the ship. Thanks again Sabrina and Claudio..Ciao till next time!!!

Great guide, but not enough time

Florence is just beautiful! Our tour guide was great! She was organized, knowledgeable and funny. It was a large group tour and the tour bus was hot and didn't smell great. I️ would have spent all day in Florence. Felt rushed to leave to get to Pisa for a short visit.

FLORENCE & PISA TRIP FROM LIVORNO

Enjoyed seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and walking around in Florence. We booked an English speaking tour however Ariana spoke in a very broken English with a heavy accent and then repeated everything in Spanish, so there was very little quiet time on the entire bus ride with her constantly talking. Her English was somewhat difficult to understand. We were very rushed throughout our visit in Florence, as we were late leaving our bus top which was scheduled for 08:15. We left around after 0900.

Great Guide, horrible parents.

Our guide was probably the most patient guide I've ever seen, she ended up spending the entire tour "babysitting" 2 children that were absolutely awful while the mother and grandmother thought it was funny that the 2 interrupted her every second of the tour. They should have been escorted to the back of the bus so we all could enjoy the history information.

The tour was great and well planned out. Communication was good with the company shore emotions. We had SABRINA as our tour guide. She is hands down the BEST tour guide we have ever come across in our whole life. She has a passion for her job and takes pride in her work. She is funny caring and knowledgeable. She was the only guide for 46 people and did an amazing job. I’m so glad we spent the day with her. We liked how the time was split with less time in Pisa and more time in Florence. We were scared to book outside the ship but they really do make sure you arrive back on time. We travelled with my mom husband and 9. Month old baby. She made it special for our baby too. Exceeded expectations.

Shore Emotion did a great job. Elena was in direct contact before and during the trip and Beatrice the tour guild was wonderful with her commentary and her humor. It was well organized and everyone knew what to do and where to meet. It exceeded expectations.
