Brilliant staff, really polite and helpful. The view is absolutely breathtaking I recommend to anybody- and love that we could take our little dog too! Would definitely visit again.

Must see when in Liverpool

Wow what a place, visited here today with my best mate. We were amazed at the views and it was a bonus having 3 lovely members of the team being so lovely from the lad who checked us in to Ross and eva who were a fountain of knowledge they showed us around and were very pleasant,they showed so much enthusiasm for their job it was so nice to see. I would defo come back.

Good views of Liverpool

Lovely way to look out over the city. Can spend as long as you like at the top. Worth a visit when in Liverpool . The lift is quick and there are few seats at the gallery but no cafe , it’s literally a viewing gallery only.

Great Views

Me and my daughter visited for the first time on Friday 31st May. We were really impressed at the views and his much you could see. Bonus was there was a group there at the same time think they were called the old boys and they were playing at the Cavern in the night time the sang a Beatles song gif a group of older ladies who were so happy they were very good just added a bit of charm to the experience.

Friendly staff, great views

The views are as spectacular as you can imagine. Even on a cloudy day, it was beautiful. The lift gets you up and down in next to no time, which is quite surprising. Overall, a lovely experience and highly recommended.

Wonderful experience and great value

The views were amazing and we found the information posters about the buildings and sites really interesting and informative. It was great value for money.

Exhilarating, informative spectacular experience

30 seconds up to 400ft wow, spectacular experience, the views were phenomenal and there was so much information, you could see for miles, then we met Ross, we then had our own private guide, he was full of so much information and knowledge and so very friendly, he pointed out Blackpool for me, my home of birth.

Amazing view

The views from the top were amazing! So much history in here. We had an unfortunate issue where the lift broke and we were trapped in for 2 hours. Throughout staff were amazing and kept the situation under control. We were given a full refund and still got to see the view. Even got to see a original 8 track for Imagine. Which was incredible. Would come back again and hopefully not get stuck in a lift this time

Great place to see views of Liverpool. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Value for money. A must if you are visiting Liverpoo.

Great views across Liverpool

We were in Liverpool for a few days and decided to try this on our first day. It is a little expensive but well worth it. My 13 year old was a bit nervous at the height of the tower but once inside she loved the views. It is totally enclosed, so she wasn't scared at all. The kids were particularly impressed with the view of Anfield and again at the view of Wales across the Mersey. A great way to see across the city in all directions. We were really glad we visited here.

A great introduction to the city

When I lived in Liverpool, this was the first port of call whenever family and friends came to visit. It is a great introduction to this wonderful city- stunning views!

Good views.

Hard to find the entrance but once you are in the guide will let you know about the building then leave you to walk round the top and take in the Liverpool skyline. You can see all the way to Wales The information boards are a bit out of alignment at the moment but still easy to follow.

Amazing views and knowledgeable guides

We were holidaying in Liverpool from London and we visited St John’s Beacon on the first Monday in March. The views from the top are amazing. We were very lucky to be shown around by one of the congenial guides at the top of the tower, Ross, who has a wealth of knowledge and is a real ambassador for his home city. He even shared a pair of binoculars with us so we could spot Blackpool Tower over 28 miles away!
 St John’s Tower is the perfect vantage point to see the city and having such interesting local guides in the viewing gallery really makes it one of the key things to do in Liverpool. Adam & Nigel

Interesting half hour

Interesting to see the city from this height, a little overpriced however. Somewhere to buy a drink and take in the views perhaps would have been worth the £7.50. Staff very good.

Drab & dreary. Windows need a good clean

A good view of the city, but apart from that, a bit drab and dreary. There isn't much else to do once you are up there. I expected a cafe at least or a toilet. Compared to Doha's Torch Tower, this was very much a let down. Didn't bother taking pics

Great views, well worth a quick visit. Better signs explaining exactly what you can see would make it better.

Scared me to death, hate heights, very windy day, but great views, from the top, so give it a go. 😭😭😭

Iconic

For the best views of our city a visit to the top of St John's Beacon is a must go destination. £7.50p admission fee ,views are amazing ,a full panoramic view of the city and beyond and its popular, this tower is a landmark feature of the city and is well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate along near St John's Shopping Centre.

Must Visit

I visited to pass time and the view is amazing. You can see all of Liverpool and beyond. There is a lot of information about the sites you can see. Staff were really helpful and informative. The door to the entrance is only small, next to the shopping enter entrance. I managed to miss it about 3 times

Perfect 360 views of an amazing city.

We wanted to get the best view possible of Liverpool so we decided that the best place for this would be St John’s beacon. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn’t very busy and it was a very clear day. It cost £7.50 per adult to visit. We were welcomed by friendly staff and were in the viewing tower within minutes. The views were excellent and there was no time restriction to the visit. There are 360 views of the city and information boards all the way around, explaining what could be viewed from that point. We had a very enjoyable visit and I would definately recommend this to anyone visiting this amazing city .

The views were absolutely amazing, I took lots of photos, the only way to see the city. The views can not be beaten. Gave me some great ideas on where to visit.

The view of the city is worth the visit. It is £7.50 each which is a bit much for a look of the city but I was happy to do it as a tourist for the experience.

Nice view of Liverpool where you can see Anfield station and much, much more. We stayed at the Delta Hotels Marriott, which is close by.
