Our guide, Molly, was excellent. Very well-informed, very entertaining, friendly and enthusiastic . The views were spectacular and the film show half way up was really good too. A visit well-worth making

Hidden Gem...

I say hidden gem because it's not very well publicised that you can do this tour in my opinion. Great experience with Molly, the friendly & informative guide. If you visit New York, you must visit the Empire state, if you visit Liverpool, you must go up the Liver Building !

Tour of Liver Building

The tour guide was very impressive with her knowledge of the history of the building and made it really interesting

Amazing Liverpool.

I took my grandchildren on this tour and they loved it. The cruise liner Queen Ann was in port and we had a great view. The tour guide was excellent, friendly and professional. I would recommend a visit.

Absolutely marvellous

Saw this on a booking app, and decided to go with it, despite not being amazing with heights or stairs. It was absolutely marvellous. Really enjoyable experience. Our guide, Shauna if memory serves, was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun and informative. Don’t let the idea of the steps bother you, it isn’t that bad at all.

Honestly. This is amazing. I've lived in liverpool for over 20 years and we have thought about doing thisfor years. honestly it was amazing one of the best tours I've been on. Brilliant tour

Absolutely fantastic tour. Meg and the staff were all very helpful and informative. The clock tower film was brilliant. We took the 11.15 tour which meant we were under the clocks when they chimed noon. Nice place to sit and have a coffee and snack too.

Very interesting tour of the Liver building with a good detail of history given about the building. The presentation in the clock tower was very interesting.

Great Tour

Great guide, wonderful views and thoroughly enjoyable. Stairs not a problem although spiral needs care on way down. You need to be fairly mobile to do this. Well worth it though.

Amazing views of liverpool

Really enjoyable and informative day views of liverpool amazing. Stairs aren't hard at all, so don't be put off. Being a scouser myself and never been here thought it was time I explored my own city and I wasn't disappointed. A must for anyone visiting liverpool or scousers that live here like me

Fantastic !!

Spectacular , amazing, fabulous. As a kid living in Wallasey and seeing this iconic building both day and night I always wanted to go and see Bella and Bertie close up. Liver building has always been my favourite building and, today I got to get as close as I could. Guide was brilliant to. One thing to take note is the lift only takes you half way. You have to then walk up 135 steps to the top balcony.

Liver Building Tour, fantastic , enjoyable and fun

Absolutely fantastic tour, tour guide is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and great fun. The video experience in the clock tower is wonderful and emotional. Found out information about the Liver Building and Liverpool City, itself that I as a Scouser was not aware of. Would highly recommend.

Managers let down

I wanted to enjoy my day off on a tour around the liver building. The guides were SO friendly and knowledgable. Unfortunately I feel that management has let the rest of this amazing team down. I witnessed a senior staff member verbally belittle and patronise a much younger worker, in front of myself and other customers. This was not only unprofessional, but embarrassing for everyone involved. I think grown men who can’t keep their temper under control should be sectioned, not put in management. Thanks

Enjoyable

Enjoyed the tour but the video shown in the clock tower should’ve been more about the history of the building and less about the history of Liverpool

Brilliant!

I would definitely recommend this. The views were spectacular. We were there on 31 March and the young lady who took our small tour was very friendly and informative. Don't be put off by the health and safety warnings. The steps are not too bad and they are not all together (I have arthritis in both knees but managed fine. I can be claustrophobic but did not feel it at all as the steps are not narrow.

Interesting visit to an important building

Very enjoyable tour and friendly and knowledgeable guide. I would have liked to see more of the building too but obviously this wasn’t included. I did find the film excessively loud in the confined space.

Fantastic hour, great views!

We had a fantastic guide who was very knowledgable. She was friendly and keen to share facts about the building and passionate about Liverpool. The views were amazing. We loved it- the time went so quickly!

Interesting building, enjoyed the light show in the clock tower, great views of Liverpool on a lovely day. Guides friendly, helpful and informative. Stairs a test for the aged!

To me the most beautiful building

This was the best experience ever. The gentleman giving the tour was very informative. The climbing of the steps to go the top is not a bad a thought.... 50 steps then 30 steps then another 3o steps and then and the top and wow its worth it

Great tour and great views.

Saw the Liver building from our hotel and remembered the Liver Birds TV programme and just wanted to find out a little more about the building. Fascinating tour and great to find out what the Liver bird was all about. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and we had great views from the top.

Brilliance tour and friendly staff

I have wanted to do this tour for a while now but this was the first opportunity I got. I was absolutely blown aware by the whole experience. From our experience booking tickets at the desk upon arrival to the goodbye all staff were so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The show in the clock tower is really well done. We visited on a terrible day but the views were still great. I would definitely recommend a visit to locals or tourists.

We got married at the Liver Buildings in April 2019 and went back today on our Wedding Anniversary. It was so magical to be up there, viewing our beautiful city, Liverpool. The tour guide Matt was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. All staff were friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. It’s nice to be a tourist in your own city for the day!

Highs and lows of Liverpool from above the city.

What a wonderful tour. You're taken up to the top of the most iconic building in Liverpool. They walk you through its history and the views are killer. If you have difficulty walking or stairs it's not for you. The guide is knowledgeable and professional. Definitely worth it. The group are small which I love.

A must do tour for anyone going to Liverpool

First time visiting the city of Liverpool for pleasure and had never been in the Liver building before. The whole experience was amazing and even the stairs which I wasn't looking forward to due to having knee trouble, were in fact no trouble at all to climb and decent. The views from the top were amazing as was the cinema show inside the clock tower.

A must to do and great views

Well worth a visit, the team were passionate, enthusiastic and very engaging on our tour. Loads of steps but we were told about this and it’s not as bad as you think. Great video and immersive video in the clock tour and loads of history. The weather was awful on the day which made being outside challenging but the team did a great job of making the most of the visit.

Well worth the effort.

Fantastic guided tour from Fyval. Despite the windy weather and creaky knees, the climb to the very top was done in stages - so more accessible than the literature leads you to believe. The views, and information were worth all the effort and we would recommend adding it to your list of things to do in Liverpool.

Great Experience!

The guide was very knowledgable. We were given just enough time at each spot. Great views of the city and a fantastic immersive film in the click tower which charted the history of the city.

Really enjoyable experience

Booked online however missed our time slot due to traffic.Rang to explain the situation person on the phone was really nice and got us booked in for the following morning no problem. I'm so used to being told if ever we've had a problem either there's nothing that can be done about it and lost the money or getting charged to amend something. All the staff are really friendly in fact the whole experience was really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend anyone to visit

Brilliant experience

Fantastic tour of the Liver building found out so much history of Liverpool. The Liver bird is the crest of Liverpool football team. The view is amazing and our tour guide was a lovely young man who genuinely loved his job he had a great enthusiasm about the story he was talking about. The 4 D experience was just brilliant. A lot of steps to climb but well worth it 👌

Stairs. Not that bad.

Excellent experience went with my mother who is 91 years old. Managed all the stairs just fine. The view is spectacular. Best to go on a sunny day.

Must do tour!

This was a great tour and Matt was an excellent guide with amazing knowledge and delivered all of the information in such a natural,friendly way.Loved the amazing views from the top and it was so interesting to be on the inside of the clock face!

Worth the climb.

A must for a number of reasons. The History of the building,as it's the first UK skyscraper and the fact it is part of the iconic Liverpool scenery. Architecture, views and good guides taking you round. Beware, there are a lot of stairs to the top floor after the lift takes you so far.

The clock mechanisms &...

The clock mechanisms & the history in film screenshot onto the walls and clock faces was amazing, going through time from construction to modern day. The view from the top of the clock tower is worth the visit to gain special knowledge into this historic building.

A must see in Liverpool

Easy to book on line - though didn’t realise can use BlueLight card for discount do worth noting if applies. We turned up early and staff let us go on earlier tour. Staff very warm and welcoming. Tour guide was excellent - didn’t rush us. Fab tour - great views and pretty special to sit inside the building on the inside of the click face. Great value and great tour. A must see if you’re in Liverpool.

Was amazing despite the 153 steps to the top. Holly the guide was amazing. Stunning views from the top. Very informative and well worth a visit

Limited experience

Disappointing. Limited within the building, as a working building any interesting rooms not available. Corny and irrelevant film about Liverpool presumably as a time filler. Guide needs to present information better rather than reeling off a script quickly.

A Great Chance to Meet Bertie and Bertha

How have we not done this tour before? The iconic Liver Birds are everywhere and yet this is the first time we’ve got up close and personal. Our guide, Holly, was exceptional, her knowledge, delivery and wit have made this an experience we will all remember for a long long time.
