Fantastic Tour Guide - Kim

Kim and Steve were great, despite the rainy weather. Kim was very knowledgeable and entertaining and really made the sightseeing a more enjoyable experience! It’s a shame the sound wasn’t working on the top deck as poor Kim had to shout, but she was fantastic all the same. Liverpool is a beautiful city- totally recommend it!

Fun, relaxed and informative

Great tour, informative and relaxed! Reasonably priced especially for a personalised tour rather than one with headphones. Anne and Paddy were great. Would definitely recommend!

Great way to see Liverpool

Very friendly tour guide who was very informative but in a fun way. We learnt a lot about the city of Liverpool & the sun was shining so a great day!

Just ok

The bus tour was ok , only hopped off once . When I tried to hope on again later in the day , the driver was rude and wouldn’t let me on . It was raining ☔️ and she said “ I’m done for the day , it’s raining 🌧️, it’s business hour , goodbye “. She made me walk 2 miles to my destination. Won’t use that tour line again 😡

Friendly and informative

An informative and friendly overview of Liverpool. Vic and our driver did a great job.i was too engrossed to take pictures so I’ll have to ride it again tomorrow.

Liverpool City hop on and off...just do it!

staff were very friendly kept us updated about the next bus and chances of getting on (a Princess cruise) was in town and the tour was therefore oversubscribed. The guides were very knowledgeable when we eventually got on (fourth bus from our booked time). The buses were very clean and the audio from the guides clear and filled with details of the places we passed. The World Museum was a fantastic stop.

Just what we wanted!

Very informative and great experience, even though the weather wasn’t the best we sat at the top at the front and were protected from the rain, very friendly staff, saw some great sights and thoroughly enjoyed it, bus stop very accessible from our hotel. We got by Chinatown.

A must do !

Great ! 14 stops ! Soo much to see & take in ! Fantastic guide talking too. ( speaker 🔊 - pre- recorded ). Great value too The BEST way to see the city if your feet are tired ! Loved learning soo much about such a great city. Richard our driver was fantastic , friendly , happy 😊 and helpful. This trip is a must do !

Beautiful tour of Liverpool.

We took the Beatle tour and city tours. The guides were great and knowledgeable. Jimmy, our guide,sang for us and knew alot of fun facts. We went to penny lane and strawberry fields. Great fun. The city buildings were fantastic and stunning to l Iook at. A super day. Cannot wait to visit again.

Nice ride

It was a great ride around Liverpool. The he prerecorded commentary was lined up with the sites. It’s a good way to get the lay of the land.

Grown up family day out

Lived in Liverpool all our lives but still learned loads on this excellent bus tour! We did one full route and then stayed on and did our hop offs / ons on the second round which means you’re not missing out on any sights if you choose not to hop back on. Colin our driver and Kim our guide were phenomenal and really engaging. Would defo recommend!

Liverpool Tour

We stay for two days in Liverpool and for a city like this with so many attractions the fastest way to cover the most is using this tourism buses, the drivers where very friendly but the tour is too fast and for you to get out of the bus and visit and specific site and wait for the next bus in route you lose a lot of time preventing you from complete the other sites in a timely manner.

Highly entertaining Beatles experience

Great way to see and learn about the history of Liverpool! The driver was excellent as was the person giving us all the information and our poncho’s when it drizzled.

Adds to Liverpool experience

Really interesting tour, learnt so much from Kim (and driver Colin). Certainly added to our short Liverpool city break. We didn't hop on or off but looked really easy to do so if needed.

Superb commentary

I took the Blue Route and the commentary was non -stop, informative, amusing and educational. This is the way to see Liverpool. Stops for photo opportunities to suit all visitors.

Perfect tour and guide

Excellent tour! Our guide, John, was a perfect guide with clear narrative and great stories and explanations. We got to see many famous places and two great little museums.

Awesome city trip

A good way of getting your bearings.

I took this bus on a very rainy day in Liverpool and it wasn't without its problems. The bus had a leak so had to be swapped for a different one, which didn't have any cover on the upper deck. The lower deck filled up after a couple of stops so I sat upstairs, I was immediately given some rain ponchos which I really appreciated. The sound system wasn't working well, so for part of the journey a recording was played instead of live commentary, nevertheless that had some interesting information. I feel confident that had everything gone to plan it would have been a great trip rather than just a good one. Kudos to driver Ann and guide Kim for keeping everyone entertained in less than ideal circumstances!

Nice overview of the Citie's sights and then we were able to get off and on wherever we wanted. The live commentary was great to have as well

Disappointing

Enormously disappointing compared to the Beatles part of this combo ticket. Basically a bus journey with the very short occasional snippets of a comment of where you are. Very little info, facts or entertainment through a boring speaker system. Many times of no info and sitting at bus stops - the nature of a hop on hop off experience I suppose compared to a guided tour.

A lovely day in Liverpool

We had a great day in Liverpool. Being that it was an unusually nice day, we were able to sit on the top level to see the sights. The commentary was interesting, informative and amusing. We first got off at the Philharmonic Hotel, but we were too early - it hadn’t opened yet, so we walked over to the Cathedral. An impressive and beautiful building! Back on the bus, where our next hop off was at the Albert Docks, for the Beatles, lunch and some shopping. We enjoyed our day in Liverpool.

We jumped on Tommy & Daves tour bus. They were very comical & got the passengers engaging from start to finish great tour. Highly recommend 👌🏼

Good For Getting Your Bearings

Well worth a trip to get your bearings of the city. We did this on the day we arrived in Liverpool to get an idea of where key locations around the city. The audio track Was very informative pointing out buildings such as the Cavern club,white star building and the old Naval HQ during WW2. With nori or music from Liverpool,fun facts and a few jokes was definitely worth the trip. Would highly recommend for anyone who is visiting the area

Good - well worth the money.

Well worth the money. Dog can travel with you on the bus. Friendly and helpful drivers. Interesting tour guide with many additional facts on top of the usual stuff.

Penny Lane

I did the blue line tour and found the guide, Chris, very informative and entertaining. He was also very helpful when we stopped at both Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields, taking pictures for anyone that anybody that wanted them. The best bit was when he and the driver, Arthur, did a duet as the tour was finishing. I would do the tour again just for this

Wonderful sights of Liverpool

The bus trip enabled us to see the sights of Liverpool and hear about the history without having to walk the route. It was very convenient to get off at the stops we wanted to see more of

Great 48 hours in Liverpool

Did the fantastic Beatles tour with Chris and Arthur. It was very informative and oh so much fun. Then popped onto the Hop on Hop off to do the city tour Couldn’t believe the ticket was for 48 hours and even included a glass of Prosecco in The Philharmonic Dining Room. Unbelievable value. Highly recommend it.

FAB FAB FAB

What a fab 90 minute tour with Colin and Damien it was very informative and entertaining and also emotional the whole of the top deck joined in the singing whilst Damien played guitar and sang too!! FAB FAB FAB and we get to reuse our ticket on the hop on and off red bus to go to the Cavern later on today

Great experience

Very informative, helpful driver and guide. When we stopped they were only too happy to take photos for us. We even had a musical entertainment from the guide!

Great Tour, got to see all the highlights….

Very enjoyable tour. Our tour director and driver were great… Everything went according to plan and we even got the front seat upstairs… Not bad for a couple of seniors with walking sticks ! The stairs were pretty easy to climb..

Great Beatles and Liverpool experience

Wonderful trip exploring Liverpool - especially Beatles tour. Tour guide Chris was exceptional - well informed funny and entertaining. Bus driver Ann was so friendly and caring. The two complimented each other. Great tour great deal and thoroughly recommend them.

City tour and Beatles tour

We took the red bus for a city tour and the yellow bus for the Beatles tour. Red bus very enjoyable! Citi bus was good except the guide BLASTED the music! Half the volume would be adequate and not as disturbing to the surrounding neighborhoods! I recommend both tours because they are very different.

Few days away

Did the beatles tour as part of the hop on hop off. It was excellent . Rob out guide made it he was brilliant knowledgeable and very obviously a huge beatles fan. Great afternoon

Educational and Entertaining!

Really enjoyed this experience. We were able to see the fantastic sights of Liverpool and the commentary was witty which made us laugh on a few occasions. One of the best hop on hop off tours we have experienced.

Superb bus tour and highly recommended

Fantastic bus tour of a very historic city. I've been to Liverpool many times over the years working but never as a tourist. I will definitely visit again. The incredible buildings and history of this city is amazing and well worth a visit. The bus tour itself is second to none, very fairly priced with excellent and professional drivers and booking staff. Highly recommended.

Great trip

Great trip with a very knowledgeable guide. She explained all the features during the tour. Would highly recommend. Also good value.

No happy with stops

We got on the bus. We were told to let the driver know when we want to get off. Seat up at the top for more of view. No bel or way to let the driver know that we wanted to get off. We have been on 6 sightseeing busses and they always stop at all the stop for people to get off. This bus just didn’t stop at any of the stops. You get on at stop one and off there again. We wasted 1 and half hours as we after getting off had to wait for the next bus. Due to this we also could not get off all the stop we wanted to.

Definitely worth doing

Very good value. Only £12 for a 50 minute tour. Some music as well as the commentary which we enjoyed. I didn't like not being able to view the tickets via email. You have to access the app, before you can view your tickets, which took quite a while to access. Also, last tour ride is 3.50pm, which possibly needs to be more advertised as we didn't know and only just got it.

PErfect way to see the city

It was great, you didn't have to wait too long for the buses, each one had a unique guide with their own way of telling the story of their city so even if you went by a stop twice it wasn't repetitive.

The 'Fab Tour'!!

We were a party of 8 girl friends, visiting Liverpool for the weekend, to celebrate Monica's birthday! Tommy & Colin were our Guides, they were not only informative but very entertaining! They organised us wonderfully & were kind enough to take lots of group photos! It really was an incredible experience & an unforgettable highlight of our time in the City! Will definitely book again on our next visit!
