Adventure Combo Tour: Zipline adventure and Tortuguero Canals

Ziplining was Great and Canal Tour was Blah

My husband and daughters age 10 and 12 enjoyed the ziplines. They did not love the canal tour as much, so in hindsight we would book just the ziplining only without the canal tour.

Cruising and Zipping! Wee!

Fio and Yiyi were amazing. The canal tour was good and zip lining was awesome! Someone wrote a review about a drop off on a slippery trail. One trail was slippery but no drop offs. This is a fun activity. Go enjoy yourself!!

Best tour of zip lining and boat up canal!

Fio and Yiyi were fantastic! They were so personal, knowledgeable and lead us in an order that allowed us to get the best possible experience! Highly recommend them!

Excellent service. Super informative. Local tour guide (Mary) took care of us start to finish. She thought of everything. Zipline was amazing and safe. This tour was personal with just our family, driver, and tour guide. 100% recommended.

Our tour guide, Fiorella...

Our tour guide, Fiorella and our driver Yiyi picked us up in port. They drove us to the canal where we had a boat ride, saw sloths and monkeys. Next we went for our zip lining adventure! It was awesome! Our guide and driver went above and beyond! Thank you Fio and Yiyi! We had an amazing adventure! Pura Vida and Coco Loco!

Great deal for all we got! Very worth while!

Ricky was young lady who led the tour. She Did a lot of extra stuff to really teach about the area before getting to zip line. Sharing common treats with us to try and other foods. It was great zipping through the trees and everyone was extremely helpful. Rode in boats to see sloths and iguanas. Very well versed and pleasant!

Great Experience!

We had a great time! Our tour guide Sheylin was super nice and had great energy. She showed us everything we wanted to see and made sure we were taken care of. Super fun experience, would definitely book again!

Great Costa Rico adventure

Great guide. Fun and interesting My 4th time zip lining in Costa Rica. Least favorite course. Loads of platforms but short individual lines. Also need to walk a very treacherous path between 2 platforms that had no safety rail with a hairpin curve with slippery mud on the narrow path with sheer drops on both sides. Difficult and dangerous. My only complaint

Zip line adventure.

Great experience. Our tour guide / driver Johnny was outstanding. The only reason It’s four stars instead of five is because it was a long day without lunch. Zip lining was incredible. The boat ride was nice but not a necessity.

10/10 exceptional

This entire tour was very fun! The two tour guides that drove us around were very funny, nice and very informative. I loved the zip lining ! The guide made me and my wife feel safe while on the zip line and gave us cool info about the animals and plants around . After the zip lining we went to an area where they grow bananas, have different plants like ackee, coca chocolate and other fruit plants . Then went on a boat tour where we seen different birds , baby crocodiles , ate fruits off the trees , spoke with a guy who was fishing for blue crabs . 10/10

Great zip line and lots of animal sightings

Great zip line and canal trip. Zip line was amazingly fun and safe. We saw sloths, monkeys, birds and other animals on boat ride. Guide Nicole was sweet and informative! Driver “Gato” went out of his way to spot animals and attractions along the way. Would highly recommend this tour and company.

We loved it!

1/28/24-This was an awesome experience! Not only was the ziplining well-run and the coolest experience, but the staff was truly amazing! They kept it flowing well and made us feel very safe. We can't say enough good things about our guide, Christian/Chris. Chris was with us every step of the way to make sure he took care of anything we needed. When we later stopped for food, he insisted on bringing everything to us so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. There were four of us traveling together and we all raved about what a great guy Chris was and how much we enjoyed the tour. We also saw several sloths and the guides (on the canal tour as well) worked hard to search them out for us as well as to give us plenty of time to watch them (important for sloth watching-haha!).

Loved it

Our lovely driver from the very start Juan was a legend, very good English and perfect person to share our experience with. Really enjoyed the zip wire, all the staff amazing and made me feel safe and comfortable, I’m so glad we booked this private tour it felt more personalised. Paperwork completed quickly and all safety carried out with staff. Driven to the canal to experience the wildlife, seen a lovely sloth and much more. Was offered fresh fruit and water. Even had a stop of just to have a Quick Look at the beach. I even needed pharmacy on way back and asked to be dropped off, but Juan made sure I got what I needed and was driven back to the ship, I really feel Juan went above and beyond the whole day. I will definitely one day be back to Costa Rica to see more and would use this platform to book my trips. Thanks guys

Zipline with Christian from Syltravel

We booked through Syltravel and had Christian as our guide. He was excellent, spoke good English and did the whole tour with us. We originally thought the price a little high but afterward said it was well worth it. Had a blast. Christian took us to a local beach after the zipline for lunch at a fantastic beach restaurant. There were three couples in our group and we had a nice air conditioned van with great driver. Highly recommend!!!

Zipline the Spider-Man way.

Fun! Fun! Fun! Ziplining through the Rainforest was an Amazing adventure. The zip line crew took all the precautions needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. The cables were strong and stable. The distance between the platforms gave me plenty of time to actually enjoy the scenery. Marco (aka Michael Jackson) was there to encourage us along the way as well as pointing out deadly frogs. Marco knows a lot about the environment. Thanks Marco for having fun with us especially as we zip lined the Spider-Man way. Ask for Marco, you will be highly entertained.

Another great day in Limon

This was my second time using Syltravel Day Tours in a week. This particular tour was informative and our guide Marco was at our service. We saw lots of animals and Marco gave us a lot of information about local and national culture. If you’re ever in Limon try Syltravel Day Tours. Randal Hines

Right day

We had a phenomenal day, and it started at the boat with Risheylin and Willie, picking us up at the ship. We started down through the countryside and they stopped because they saw two sloths in the trees next to the road. First sloths I’ve ever seen. Went on the canal tour and saw all the animals that were promised. went on the zip line and had a total blast. Had extremely quick/speed zips and loved it. The workers were very professional and safe. We were then taken to botanical garden with bananas, cacao trees, Tumeric, ginger, etc. My wife absolutely loved it. Willie stopped at a little hole in the wall, grocery store and bought a piece of cake and a candle, and they sang to me for my 68th birthday. Way way way beyond kind, we had great conversation during the driving times and learned a lot of history about the area. It could have not been a better day than what they showed us by their kindness would recommend them anytime and ask for them by name. Risheylin & Willy Thanx for a GREAT DAY!!!

Great event you couldn’t feel wrong doing it

Had a great time on the zips, and they were very very good at Bunning things smoothly. Our tour guide and driver were exceptional at pointing things out as we went to it from the areas. Canal boat ride was great and we saw all the animals listed.

Great Day in Costa Rica

This was a great tour and extremely well organized. Our driver Alex was great and our tour guide Sergio “Will Smith” Salinas could not have been nicer. He was an amazing guide who truly loves his country and its ecosystems. The team s at both the canal tour and the zip line were fantastic. This whole team was top notch. Highly recommend Sergio, Alex, and this company!!!!!!

Fun Excursion

We had an incredible time zip lining! Then we went on a canal tour and saw iguanas, howler monkeys, sloths and lots of birds. Our tour guides were Christian and Enrique and they were very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this excursion!

Zipling and canal tour

Perfect day with Christian our guide and our driver,Enrico! There were only 3 of us and it was like a private tour. Ziplining was our favorite and we were well taken care of throughout the adventure. We saw Howler monkeys, sloth, hummingbirds, red frog and butterflies. Canal trip we saw monkeys, sloth and birds. Christian was very knowledgeable about Costa Rica and the culture, food, crops, money, and nature. We ended the day at a beautiful lookout point to see the port and the city.

Great Zipline Excursion

Great tour from the cruise ship. We met the tour company on the dock just outside the ship. We were the only people signed up for the tour, but rather than cancel, they sent us in a cab with our own deriver for the whole tour. Stephen was great! The zipline was fantastic, the best we've been on, with 1l lines. We saw a sloth, monkeys, red frogs, and birds. Great staff. We bought a painting by one of the zipline staff in the gift shop. The canal boat tour was good, but hit or miss with seeing the wildlife. Amazingly, once we got of the boat, we saw 5 howler monkeys in the trees right next to the dock! Great excursion.

Zip lining great

Zip lining was organized well. Guides were wel trained and safe. Only 3 in our group. Not large group of people. Canals tour was just ok, zip line was the highlight. Our driver , Alfredo was exceptional.

Amazing

Everything about this excursion was awesome. Our driver was great and very informative. The staff at the zip lining were patient and made sure we were safe. The views were amazing. Afterwords we went to the canal. The staff there made sure we all got to see the sloths, monkeys, iguanas, crocodile and snake. It was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Great Tour with an Excellent Guide!

We booked this tour last minute when the one from our cruise ship fell through. Could not have been better! We were SO happy with the tour and our amazing guide, Johnny Myrie! This was a private tour, which we did not expect. Johnny was friendly and knowledgeable from the start, and made sure we had the best time. Zip lining was also private, so no waiting in lines as others went through! Amazing! Johnny took care of us the rest of the time, taking us to local places a bigger tour would never do. He made this experience so authentic and enjoyable. He was flexible with our schedule, and made changes as the day went along for us. Canal tour was neat with a fun guide as well. Highly recommend this tour, and ask for Johnny Myrie! You will not be disappointed!

Awesome Tour with Johnny Myrie

Had an amazing half-day tour with Johnny Myrie! The ziplining was fun with incredible views. We had the opportunity to see monkeys, sloths, and so much natural beauty! Johnny did a great job driving and explaining the beautiful landscapes around Puerto Limon. He took us to a few local spots for some delicious food. We loved every minute of our tour and were so satisfied with our experience! I would definitely recommend Syl Tours and Johnny Myrie especially in the future!

Es war ein Traumausflug. Unser Guide Jonny war die ganze Zeit für uns da, hat uns alles erklärt und er war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir waren nur einer 2 er Gruppe. Unsere 2 Guides bei der Zipline haben ihren Job hervorragend gemacht und zeigten uns auch die Tiere wie Frösche und Maultiere. Bei der Bootstour gab es noch 2 Krokodile zu sehen, Sehr empfehlenswertes Gesamtpaket.
