The best tour we’ve had

We booked this trip as a party of 10. Our tour guide was Justin and I can’t recommend him enough! He took us all around the road to Hāna, he was incredibly knowledgeable and a great vibe the entire trip. He was super flexible and helpful. We stopped at many places and had the best experience.

Beautiful

This was a very great tour. We did a private one, and Christy was well versed and knew SO MUCH about the history of Hawaii and Maui, and just shared her knowledge and sites with us for 11 hours. Thank you so much!

I want to live in Maui

Christy you were amazing. I mean the views could stand alone but you made sure we took it all in as long as we wanted. You were super informative AND personable. Great tour.

Best Tour Guide Ever!

Our tour guide, Christy, was amazing. Very knowledgeable, personable, awesome! She was great with our kids(ages 8-15). Pick up and drop off was perfect. A little pricey but definitely worth it! Disappointed that part of the Road to Hana was closed due to mudslides but nobody's fault. Overall a great experience. Thank you for a great experience Christy!

Road to Hana, and more, on Maui!

We just experienced the most amazing experience on the Road to Hana, on Maui. Marty, our terrific guide, led us on a curvy adventure to Hana! He was an excellent driver and passed on many useful facts about Maui. We stopped at beautiful waterfalls and a black beach. We continued on past Hana to the back side of Maui which has a very different terrain! We drove past Oprah's ranch on Maui and heard many more interesting stories about Maui. Thank you, Marty, for being an excellent guide:)

Amazing day trip to Hana!!

We had the most amazing time!!! Thomas could not have been more wonderful!! He was extremely knowledgeable about Hana, about Maui, about Hawaii and the aloha culture. Soooo glad we didn’t have to drive!! Appreciate his kind thoughtfulness!! Would definitely recommend!!!

What experience besides arguing with the guy for 4 hours?

Drive it yourself and use the GuideAlong app save yourself the possibility of having an emergency and not getting refunded or the date you need your tour on. The operator complained that because my wife got violently ill and we tried to reschedule that we cost his driver “a working mother of 3” her income but refused to pay her out of the $1,300 plus he kept from me for a tour he never gave. I also offered to pay her directly along with him keeping my money but he refused that as well. He also exploited the Lahaina fires along with many other lame excuses. Yes it’s clear no refunds, yes he offered to take us on a 10 hour road trip the day before we get on a plane for 10 hours but believe me emergencies happen and you will be out your money unless you bend over to his unreasonable demands. He had availability on the days we requested to replace the day we missed but refused to put us on those tours for who knows what reason. If I could give 0 stars I would. This is a rip off company who won’t work with its clients. Don’t use them for anything. Honestly you can do the Road to Hana on your own and have a better time without question.

Best tour, our guide Lepa is awesome!

Our tour goddess was Lepa! What a treat! She’s a local and had so many wonderful stories! She knew someone at every turn and was truly spreading the Muhala spirit! So knowledgeable about the island! Take this tour, you won’t be disappointed!🌺

Kristie was wonderful!!

Kristie Jo was wonderful, we had such a good time, Kristie was very informative and very knowledgeable of the island and the history of it. She took her time and showed us all the great scenery, plants, trees and flowers. On the Road to Hana, which is very narrow and curved, she was a very good driver! My Mother and I really enjoyed meeting her and enjoyed her company for the day. When we go back will definitely ask for her to be our tour guide again!

We have a great and knowledgeable tour guide Kaili. He made our experience extra special. My husband and I are thankful to Kaili (deserves a raise) who shared his knowledge about road to Hana. The highlight of our tour is Swimming in black sand beach. Great experience and would highly recommend.

Wonderful trip!

Our tour guide Malia was wonderful! She told us so many great stories about Hawaiin culture, history, and families along the way to Hana. She was wonderful pointing out so many interesting sites. We also had two of our family along that had more difficulty walking and she was so considerate about making sure to drop them off close, letting them know about walking restocked etc. she was so great!! Mahalo!!

Great day! Lots of beautiful waterfalls and scenery is breathtaking. Many stops along the way offering great opportunities to experience the culture.

Incredible tour

Incredible trip and Lei was a great guide. She was able to provide extra insight and show hidden locations being from the area. Loved the waterfalls, black sand beach, flowers, BBQ, and seeing over 50 large turtles in the beach. I can’t imagine possibly even enjoying it half as much doing it on my own.

Do this tour instead of driving yourself. You will enjoy it so much more. Our guide was a local and knew the great stops.

Best tour!

Excellent day trip with tour guide, Kaili. He is fun, knowledgable, and, as a local, gives insider tips that we would not have been able to find elsewhere! We considered renting a car and doing the drive ourselves, but are so glad we did not because the road is so windy - you can tell Kaili has driven it many times and made it nausea-free. The perfect blend of scenery, history, and foodie experiences. Highly recommend!

Hana Day Trip With Larry

I did a tour with Larry. He was a great guide and he was very knowledgeable and Maui and Hawaiian culture. I would go on another tour with him.

I love Kaili

If I’m being honest, I had no idea what we were doing today because my dad booked this tour for our family and I just tagged along. I was really happy to have Kaili as our guide and he made the environment a lot more comfortable. He was easily approachable for any questions, suggestions and the like or to just talk about whatever — which is what I like because I enjoy 1 on 1 convos more as opposed to in a group. He stopped by many places like the black sand beach, chocolate factory, and coconut ice cream truck. I enjoyed the views and scenery and he was apt at explaining the history behind the area, which I appreciated. All in all, he was the goat fr 🫡. With that said, he needs a raise — he deserves it 🥹 #teamkaili #needsaraise

Memories in the making

Spectator scenery. I’m not sure how, Kaili, our tour guide could fit so much into our 10-hour tour, and yet, he was so knowledgeable, informative and entertaining, the day flew by very fast. We stopped for a complimentary breakfast and lunch. We also stopped for “Aunt Sandy’s banana bread (delicious), Hana Golds Chocolates, and a coconut-milk ice cream shop. We were taken to beautiful waterfalls, a black-sand beach to swim, breathtaking views of the ocean, dozens of sea turtles sunning, surfers, and lush forests. Kaili provided more than we could’ve expected. He had a great sense of humor, a wealth of island history to share, and he’s a great storyteller. I’m not sure he’s being paid enough. If you book this tour, I recommend you request Kaili.

Fantastic private tour for two.

4 person keep for just the two of us made it completely on our schedule. No waiting on anyone else to get back on the bus or embarrassed when you were holding up everyone. The driver told local stories and was intimately knowledgeable about the area. The sights were beautiful as expected. Did a detour for a real lunch instead of just sandwiches at Huli Huli chicken with a perfect water view to eat.

Lisa made our day incredible

We took a private Road to Hana trip with Lisa and my extended family had an incredible time. She was so friendly and helped us have an amazing day. We did the full road, and stopped at places we would never would have known about. We traveled with two kids age 10 and 7 and I was bit worried about the long day, but Lisa made it special for them, answering questions, sharing information, and singing in the van together after a long day. It made for such special memories for us all, thank you so much for all of your kindness and generosity Lisa.

Lepa is the best driver on Maui!

Lepa was very friendly and informative. She went out of her way to share aloha. I would definitely recommend asking for her as your driver.

Horrible tour company

Your company is the worst! Running other tourists off the road. I called to explain my experience and you disregarded me. Your tour driver clapped when we pulled over after you honked at us while trying to drive with other cars directly in front of us. Terrible tour company!

Road to Hana

Decided to take the tour rather than drive ourselves.Best decision ever, had the best tour Guide Justin,he was very informative & a lot of fun.It is a long day but worth it.

A perfect way to see all the island has to offer!

Our guide Justin was amazing! We enjoyed all his local/state knowledge and awesome personality! We saw so many amazing views and all the different sides of the island. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Highlight of our trip

The tour to Hana was the highlight of our trip. Lepa was the best tour guide we could have asked for. She’s friendly, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable about Maui and Hawaiian culture. We saw and did and ate SO MUCH! Every stop was amazing and swimming in the waterfalls was incredible. Don’t pass up this trip if you have the opportunity and ask for Lepa as your driver and guide, you won’t be disappointed!

Reverse loop to Hana

Mother and daughter trip to Hawaii must include a trip to Hana. We decided on a private tour so we could decide what to see and how long to stay. We were flexible and our tour guide, Lepa, was helpful and fun. We all decided to to the reverse route and do the complete loop. So worth the time! We enjoyed everything. The breakfast and lunch were provided. Simple and tasty. We stopped at fruit stands to try papaya and fruit drinks, Banana breads and macadamia nuts. We swam in waterfalls and at the black sands beach. We saw bamboo and rainbow eucalyptus trees. Lepa was full of fascinating stories, myth and real people.

Great veiws and excellent guide.

Great tour with Lisa. This was our second trip to Hana but we were able to catch some new sites and new info from Lisa. She was kind to our group and kept everyone engaged. Lisa was also so good to the roadside merchants, you could tell from their interactions that she is a great person that cares about Maui.

Amazing trip!

This was an amazing trip. If you are a nature lover, you will love this. Kristi was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and easy going. Black sand beach was amazing. We went back and forth on doing a self guided tour or this and we are really glad we did the private tour. Would highly recommend going.

Lepa, Road to Hana excursion. It was awesome. She made it great.She had great historical information about the city of Hana and the entire island.

Our favorite driver!

We went on a tour with Lepa, she was AMAZING! Her story’s were interesting and educational, and over the top funny! She is local to the area and told us stories of the people who live there and took us on a Hawaiian rollercoaster 😝. 10/10 recommend, her driving was smooth and trusting. Nobody in our group got carsick luckily, we seen so much. Thanks again!!

Oh my gosh I had such an amazing time!!!! The views were beautiful everywhere we stopped was such an amazing experience but most of all our tour guide LEPA was the best! She made it so much fun! She’s a local and was knowledgeable and we learned so much from her she even swam with us in the waterfall! She made this tour so so fun I highly recommend her! She made us feel like family I literally cannot imagine doing this tour with anyone else!! 🌺🌺🌺
