Fantastic Day Out

We were at the Café (attached to the Dive shop which is really good) and called into the Dive Shop. Ended up booking this trip and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend it. The snorkelling gear was good, the boat was good, the lunch was good and the guide (Angel) was fantastic. The ratio of guides to guests was 1:2 so anyone with any lack of confidence should feel safe. We had a really good day and will be booking with them again.

The best snorkelling experience

Very polite staff and experienced diving instructors. The places they took us were amazing, especially the drift snorkelling where we were in the sea world paradise, spectacular reefs, we saw turtles, dolphins and manta rays

Snorkelling Manta point

This tour was incredible and delivered what it said it would - we saw so so many Manta rays, the guides were excellent and very helpful making sure we were within their sights at all times. Drift snorkelling was amazing , saw so much coral, colourful fish and was so relaxing and peaceful. The snorkelling, and guides I would score a 5. I have only given a 4 out of 5 as were as a group underwhelmed (not disappointed , just underwhelmed ) with the lunch and location of the lunch - trivial I know but trip advisor is asking for feedback so this is our constructive feedback . We thought we would maybe eat at one of the beaches - picnic on the beach or on a pontoon etc . We all were handed a lunchbox with either rice or noodles, like a school lunch and the boat docked in a small wharf where we were told to eat on the boat (small boat for our group only ) which was not pretty and toilets on the wharf were locked. To be fair, the tour doesnt say "eat on a beach or buffet lunch etc so their wording is not misleading , we just had thought that would occur as previous snorkelling trips we had done provide that, so it was our interpretation only and not misrepresentation) . Had Neptune tours had docking rights for one of the beaches it would have been a more pleasant lunch experience. So snorkelling and amazing guides 5/5, overall experience on the whole day 4/5.

just a dream-day: i would do this trip ever & ever again!

what an amazing trip: - we snorkled at three different, wonderful spots (we saw: dolphins, mantas, turtles, clownfishes and many more fishes and beautiful corals)! - the staff was very friendly, competent & safety related - the communication before the trip was very clear and good (via whatsapp) - the food (snacks and lunch: i had the fried noodles vegetarian) was super delicious - but the hole trip takes around 11 hours… ;) even better!

We went snorkelling with Neptune diving and we can't recommend it enough. We were collected from our hotel and taken out to Manta Point, saw many massive manta rays. We then went to Crystal Bay. Hubby and I had Addy guiding only the 2 of us. He was really attentive and caring. We thoroughly enjoyed our day!

Great snorkeling trip!

Saw heaps of manta rays and sea turtles. Neptune staff are great, guides are very attentive. If can be a bit rough heading out to the island so if you get motion sickness take medication before you go.

Awesome family day out

Amazing day with the family. Both scuba and snorkelling. The dive experience was spectacular and every single one of the staff members were incredibly helpful, kind and generous. It’s was a family day that built awesome memories

Amazing

I highly recommend this snorkeling activity, it was definitely worth it. The waves were high and the island has been closed two days prior. On the day of the activity we couldn’t get to manta point, but we’re able to enjoy three other snorkeling spots. Lots of sea life, saw lots of turtles and many many different types of fish. Everything so colorful!!! I was provided a personal guide, not sure if it was because I was there with a group of Chinese speakers, or if they usually have very small groups. I would definitely do it again when and if I come back!

Too crowded with less chance to see any Mantas

Fast boat was full-loaded by passengers. No space, too many tourists side by side. Snorkeling spots too crowded by other boats and tourists. Horrible! Snorkeling time to short and stressful. Don't expect to see any mantas or dolphins. Once you realize what I mean you will understand why don't you see any Mantas.

you have to try once in your life and the snorkeling activity the centre provided are excellent. you may say the price is a bit higher than the others but you will not be worry about any extra cost at the end.

Majestic manta ray snorkeling

Went snorkeling in Nusa Penida with these guys and it was mindblowing. Maybe because we were lucky with the weather and everything else but the day was so nice and smooth. From the hotel pick-up, preparations at the dive center, the snorkeling guide in the water with us all the time... Lunch on the boat was shockingly good, we got the vegetarian green fried rice. Homemade cookies and some fresh fruit were very welcomed after the first stop at Manta Point. Highly recommended. The reservation process was very quick and easy.

Manta Rays

Amazing!!! We booked from the UK prior to arriving in Bali. Neptunes are so professional and safe. Everything was well organised and good equipment. We saw 4 Manta Rays up close and saw turtles and millions of fish. This was the most amazing experience ever!!

Worst snorkelling trip ever

Family of 4 snorkelers (with 2 children - 11 years old) booked from this add expecting to get what advertised which clearly stated - Snorkelling in Nusa Penida to see Mantas maximum 4 travellers (listed twice in the ad) on a high powered boat. When arrived we were told we would be on boat with additional 4 SCUBA divers. Complained to owner. He denied ad, then when I produced screen shots post trip he gaslighted, bullied and belittled me. Refunded $100US but he blamed that is was a TripAdvisor mistake. We didn’t see Mantas, didn’t even go anywhere near the bay where they are.We were casually told before we got on boat that we might not go to Manta Bay because of weather even though it was the clearest, bluest calmest day. Later found out from crew that the hadn’t been able to get into the bay with Mantas for about 10 days because of the time of year, we believe they knew before we left shore. Instead we saw a dead coral reef, a reef so polluted that we couldn’t swim without being tangled in garbage. We waited around on the boat for hours doing nothing so that divers could rest (SIT) between dives. At one point we were left in the water by ourselves for about 20mins with only the guide and one life ring while the boat took the divers to another spot. We couldn’t even see the boat . Worst $600US ($942AU) every spent. Don’t book with TripAdvisor or Neptune. If you don’t get as advertised they will try to blame, bully and humiliate you and deny any responsibility or ignore you. I have asked both companies for full refund but they refuse to accept fault in the advertising. Go with a company that specialises in snorkelling not diving. Ask lots of questions directly to the company including at least 2 days days out about the Mantas. Could have been the snorkel of a lifetime - so disappointing .

Manta rays galore

We had an excellent trip with Neptune Diving and managed to see many manta rays and turtles. Our guide was warm, friendly, and very willing to accommodate our lack of experience. He was just as pleased as us to see manta rays, even though he must've seen them hundreds of times! The day was slightly longer than anticipated as we were out from 7:30 until 16:00. The dive center was really nice and tea/coffee/juice were provided free of charge both before and after the trip, along with sea sickness medication which was strongly recommended.

Great agency

We did a snorkeling trip on February 28, 2023. We where 4 people and from the start at sea we saw that it was quite rough. We still went to Manta Point hoping to see manta rays there. But the snorkeling conditions were difficult due to the rough seas and Mother Nature made sure that even the rays were not there. So we leave to do our 2 other snorkeling trips, including an exceptional one at Mengrove point where the corals were really healthy, which gave extraordinary images. On our return we discussed the first snorkeling trip to see the manta rays and the very difficult snorkeling conditions and so the agency gave us a partial refund as compensation. We can say that the agency listened to us and acted professionally towards us. Thanks to the whole team Michael

Amazing trip! Want to come back:)

This trip was amazing! I highly recommend booking with this dive shop, even for snorkeling. Out guide Gobing was awesome. He was super helpful and really friendly. The equipment was good and I felt really safe the entire time. We saw mantas, turtles, incredible reef and tons of fish. The dive shop is nice everybody is very friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely want you to have a good time. For. Look anywhere else!

Stunning reefs, great service!

Absolutely amazing experience!! The guides were extremely friendly and helpful, we saw manta rays, sea turtles, and the most beautiful and diverse reef communities I've ever seen. The company does not use any single-use plastic as they provide you with drinks, snacks, and a delicious lunch. Highly recommend!!

Majestic manta rays - an amazing experience

I was looking for a trip to Nusa Penida, primarily to snorkel with the manta rays, but did not want to go on just any old tourist boat. I liked the fact that the trip was run by a dive company, and although it was a little more expensive than some, it was well worth the money. From my e-mails with Julian during the booking process, to the driver of the bus and the guides on the boat, the entire operation was well organized and extremely professional. The snorkeling equipment that was provided was excellent and I enjoyed the individually packed lunch and snacks. We encountered at least 6 majestic manta rays at Manta Pont, then followed this up with two drift snorkels over some stunning soft coral gardens with a variety of fish. I have snorkeled in a variety of locations in Bali and Lombok over the years, but this was by far my favorite experience. My thanks to the team at Neptunes for a fantastic day.

Most wonderful day

We had the most wonderful experience with Neptune Scuba Diving. If you go to Bali ONLY use these guys, worth every cent! They take care in their gear, their service with both our guide and owners was impeccable. So much better than anyone else we have dived with in Bali. Can't recommend them highly enough

Superb - Must Do Experience!

Awesome team, we were impeccably looked after from start to finish. Good gear, nice boat, competent crew. Saw lots of Manta close up at Manta Point, turtles and lots of fish at the 2 drift snorkels. Couldn't ask for better, one of the best snorkeling trips I have been on.

Best snorkelling trip ever

We have had the most amazing day ever. From arriving at the stunning Scuba centre (super clean and well managed) to the most beautiful day out at sea. We booked our trip in advance via WhatsApp and the service/replies have been second to none. We picked the three stop trip which included a delicious lunch, snacks and drinks provided. It was beyond special to see the majestic mantra rays and sea turtles let alone all the beautiful fish and coral reef. Would 100% recommend Neptune and would love to visit them again. The staff are more than welcoming, kind and willing to help in any way possible. Book here and you won’t regret it!

Amazing experience with Neptune

An incredibly well organised, safe and fun snorkelling experience. Neptune organised a transfer to pick us up from the hotel and to the dive centre where we were warmly greeted by friendly staff and refreshments. We were given a thorough briefing on what the day would entail and then tried on all our gear including wetsuits which was all in great shape and new. We then drove to the beach take off point where the boat was loaded and we were escorted on board. The boat was immaculate and new and the captain clearly very experienced. Our first stop was at Manta Point where we had our own snorkel guide swimming with us and pointing out the best places. He was by our side the whole time. We saw so many manta rays which was an incredible experience. Our second stop was near crystal bay, where we saw dolphins and sea turtles. We then had a great lunch onboard the boat which we had pre ordered. The food was tasty and fresh. Our last stop of the day was by the coral gardens which was amazing. The reefs here are abundant and full of life everywhere you look. Overall this was a 10/10 day. The team at Neptune were so organised and we felt incredibly safe. There were always people on the boat and in the water with us at all times. The guys were also super friendly and couldnt do enough.

Unforgettable Birthday Experience - Bucket List!

My son (10 years) and I did the 3 stop Snorkelling trip here for my birthday, and it did not disappoint! In fact it far exceeded any expectations we had, which I shouldn't have been surprised about based on all the positive reviews. Communication with Julien was so prompt and informative, which made booking the trip so easy and then Joe was so friendly and engaging. All the staff at the dive centre were so friendly, and my son loved the chance to play and dive in the dive centre pool before and after the boat trip. We saw Mantas, turtles, dolphins (lucky us!) and so many wonderful colourful fish and corals. The entire tour experience was so professional and well run. Amazing lunch on board the boat (green fried rice - YUM!!!). Couldn't recommend this company and tour more highly. We are already planning our next trip back so we can complete our Open Water dive certifications with Neptune. By far the mort informative, friendly and engaging dive / snorkelling centre we have come across in Indo. Oh, and super cute cats! (Hi Luna & Coco - from Riley).

Best Dive Centre in Bali

The only diving centre to use 10/10 I did my Padi Openwater with Neptune 5 years ago and went back to Bali for my honeymoon. Only one dive centre to use in Bali and that's Neptune, they are absolutely amazing. Julian the owners is always on hand to answer any questions we had over WhatsApp and responds within minutes. Arrival at the dive centre greeted by all they're lovely staff, followed by coffee and Julians homemade biscuits when we do our briefing. We went to Nusa to do 3 dives at Manta Point, Crystal Bay followed by a drift dive. Neptune had everything covered for the whole day, Cold drinks and Nissbles throughout the day Chicken Fried Rice for Lunch Watermelon Chunks Homemade biscuits And the nicest touch after our final dive was an ice cold Towel to wipe the sea salt from your face. They have thought of everything. Do not use any other dive centre than, promise you won't be disappointed.

Mesmerising and Memorable

This is by far the best experience I have had so far in Bali and I’ve been coming to Bali for over 10 years now! I swam with so many Manta Rays, turtles, cuttlefish and so many beautiful fish, with the coral so colourful and alive which was so nice to see. I was taken care of from pick up to drop off, my gear was cleaned every dive and my guide in the water pointed out all the sea creatures and told me about them. Lunch was delicious and everything provided to us was sustainable and healthy with no plastic being used. Joe and Julian were friendly and so welcoming, such lovely genuine people and all of their staff were exactly the same. I couldn’t recommend this anymore and I can’t wait to come back to Bali to do my diving refresher through Neptune Diving ☺️

Unforgettable - Thank you to all the wonderful people at Neptune!

Julian, Muli, Agus, Noi and the rest of the guys were just absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend and I booked the 3-spot snorkling trip and it was without a doubt amazing. We were paired with a group of 3, so 5 people total (excluding the team). We started off by testing and trying out the gear to make sure everything fit us - no rush - and in good time off we went. The seas were slightly rough when we were in transit to the first snorkling point, Manta Beach. Multiple people got seasick, but the team took really nice care of them and kept the trip easy to digest and flexible wrt. food and breaks (we even all had a small nap at one point on the trip). At Manta Beach we weren't able to find any Manta Rays, so the team took us to Manta Point and boy were we in for a fantastic surprise when 6 different Mantas showed up and swam slowly around and below us - an indescribable and unforgettable experience! The sea was relatively rough, but the whole time we felt completely safe and looked after, with our guide, Muli, and his helpers frequently checking in on us. Even though we stopped by an extra spot, they still took us to the next two they had planned, ensuring plenty of astonishing sights for us to see. It's difficult to describe everything, but in short the trip offered us views of myriad colorful corals, a Napoleon fish, 3 sea turtles, the whole gang from Finding Nemo, puffer fish and more! When we returned we were offered a dip in their diving pool and a cold drink while everyone relaxed and talked about the trip and sights we had seen. Throughout the trip Muli had filmed us and taken pictures with his phone and GoPro, and offered to send it to us via WhatsApp, no charge. If you're looking for a snorkling trip in Bali and you're staying in the Den Pasar/Sanur region, I cannot recommend Neptune Diving enough. It's a must do.

Fabulous customer service, gorgeous sea life!

Julian and the team were awesome from start to finish. He was immediately responsive and helpful with all information via a personal WhatsApp chat, answering all our questions leading up to our trip. They prepared us super well for all possible conditions, making sure we felt comfortable and psyched. Although we only saw one manta this day (which is very rare- usually there are many), it was still an absolutely sublime encounter with a majestic creature. The other two snorkel/dive spots were even more rich with marine life, both drifts from point A to B, which was like watching a movie of a reef go by. Food was great, and the photos they took for us were sent over promptly! Definitely enjoy a coconut back at the dive center after the ride!

Jo and Julien were absolutely fantastic! They are so knowledgeable, patient, and kind. We saw so many Mantas and other tropic sea creatures. I would recommend this excursion to anyone!

The best service

Neptune is one of my favourite diving Centers. Did a full day fun dive w Neptune, the whole experience is really great. The service is good, Joe really took good care of each individual, try to maximise our time of diving, she is very experienced and definitely know where to bring you to see things. And the boat man is observant and helpful too. Really enjoyed the day trip, would love to come back again.

Most amazing snorkeling experience

We had the most amazing snorkeling experience with Neptune! Everything was organized extremely well and they thought it through in most detailed way possible (e.g. even got water bottles with our own names and safety measures were taken at all times). We saw beautiful Manta Rays and turtles!!! The staff was super friendly and really experienced so we felt really safe and in good hands with them. And to complete the experience the lunch at the end of the trip was super tasty! So do not doubt about booking with Neptune, just do it!!!!!

Jo and Julien are so friendly and welcomes everyone in like family. They take care of everything on the day and you just enjoy yourself. We saw 3 Mantas it was fantastic. They happily accommodated a wheelchair and did everything they needed to ensure everyone had a great day.

Once in a Lifetime Experience!!

Highly recommend Neptune for a carefree and professional snorkelling experience! We were provided with wet suits and proper snorkelling equipments (able to try them out at their centre to confirm our sizes). To swim with Manta’s was truly a surreal and magical experience (but please refrain from touching wildlife!). Lunch was also provided, freshly cooked fried rice. Thumbs up to Julian, Gede and the Neptune Team for such a fun and fulfilling experience! We would be back for diving! ;)

Swim with Mantas! What Mantas?

Disappointing trip with no sign of Manatas. Apparently there were none the day before either according to some other people who went. I understand that there are no guarantees when it comes to wildlife but without the Mantas there is not much to recommend about the day. Pretty average snorkelling.

Amazing

My wife and I are short-sighted but Neptune was able to provide us prescribed snorkeling goggles. Neptune brought us to two snorkeling sites and we were able to see breathtaking coral and fish. It was a guided snorkeling tour and our guide swam with us and led us the way. He also took great videos of us. The lunch and pick up service were perfect too.

What an experience

We had a great trip with Neptune, very organised with friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. We saw lots and lots of colourful fish and we got to swim with numerous Manta rays.

Life changing!

Wow, what an experience! This was a super-easy process from booking, to confirmation of pickup and Julian was the most gracious and friendly of hosts, spending time explaining the day and expectation, and also ensuring we were well cared for upon our return. On the boat, Gracia took very good care of us and in the water, she was my one on one guide ensuring I was safe, comfortable and aware of the mantas, special sites and creatures I may have missed. Whilst the day didn't go exactly to plan (mother nature or other divers' requests are not always predictable), we felt perfectly satisfied at the end of the day and would highly recommend. Thankyou so much to everyone..

We only saw Manta’s, WOW

We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the dive centre and made to feel very welcome, we were allocated our own guide to point out sea life and keep us safe, our guide was Erwin. The boat then took us to snorkel at 2 sites, the first was Manta Point where we swam with Manta’s, we knew there may be a chance we might not see them but with the power of positivity they glided to the cleaning station and it was A-MA-ZING to swim with them in the open sea. We then went for a drift snorkel along a very active reef, so many different fish and corals, minimum effort maximum enjoyment! We then went back to the dive centre for a very delicious lunch before being taken back to our hotel. A great day!

First-class, awesome snorkeling experience and trip!

These folks are over the top awesome. From the expert booking and communication from Yoga, to the guide Gracia we had, to the boat staff like Maui, and the boats they used, everything felt like a dream experience. They had a nice van to pick us up, they briefed us on a ton of safety and specific snorkeling spot details to prepare us for everything, and they even cooked lunch when we got back. I loved the hot towel for washing the salt off our faces, and they seemed very environmentally concious both in their instructions for us and the way they handled water and supplies on the boat. I'd definitely go back and do another trip with them next time I'm in Bali -- I just wish I could dive (ear problems) -- I'd travel across the world just to learn with them!

Mantas!

My fiancee and I were able to book a last minute snorkel trip with Neptune during our time in Seminyak and were blown away by the service. Every other tour Bali was booked and our hotel helped us to find Neptune, and we are SO glad they were able to accommodate us! They picked us up fro our hotel, took us to the dive center to be briefed and get us all of our gear (all of their gear is in great shape), and took us to the port where our boat was waiting to take us to Nusa Penida to see the mantas. It was a little rough during the crossing that day, but they provided us with Dramamine for the ride over to the island! Once we arrived at Manta point, we got in the water after the divers and went to the area where they are frequently seen. Even though it was peak off season, we still managed to see `1 manta and it was incredible! They then took us to a couple other dive/snorkel sites, including one drift snorkel/dive which was amazing! Our guides were amazing and safety always came first. We were provided with all the water we needed and they also offered beer and an amazing ceviche lunch! Dikah was our boy and he made it so much fun for us. We highly recommend Neptune before any other dive/snorkel shop!

Brilliant again!

I had such a ball with these guys last year ... couldn't resist coming back! Walking into the centre after being collected from the hotel, it was like visiting old friends, and I was greeted warmly by name. These guys also remembered my details from 12 months ago and had my gear ready to go. Bit of pressure trying on the wetsuit ... I mean what if I'd put on weight and it didn't fit, haha, but thankfully it did! Great same information and instruction session about what to expect during the day was given by Julian over a relaxed iced tea and cookies, and cat patting. We (3 of us today) were assigned snorkeling guide Pany, who was very competent and kind, and made sure we were prepared and safe at all times. He was also our camera man for the day. I was pretty hopeless at diving below the surface, but Pany kept encouraging me, and to his credit, was patient and persistent and got some great footage. Manta Point, as expected was choppy, but we saw a constant display of Giant Mantas which was just incredible. For some reason, my mask was not sealing properly and kept filling with water, which Pany quickly noticed. He insisted on swapping masks, and the result was much better, allowing me to try diving under the surface a few times to get a little closer to the amazing Mantas. Conditions being a little choppy at the second dive site, and also because we had a seasick diver on board, it was decided to head further around the island of Nusa Penida to calmer waters. This meant missing out on Crystal Bay, but the alternative site was stunning and probably my favorite of the day. Great visibility and plenty of colorful fish, corals and sea creatures including 5 turtles! Yummy lunch (vegan rice provided for me) fresh fruit, cookies and fresh water supplied again in reusable containers. Pany also encouraged us to grab any plastic and rubbish that we encountered while in the water. We didn't come across much, but it felt good to remove what we did see. Third dive saw us snorkeling in the pouring rain (not stormy, just calm, but heavy) which added another different, but enjoyable dimension to the day. As we headed back to Sanur, the rain stopped and it was a pleasant ride back with most people happily relaxed and napping. The 2 boat crew and 3 dive guides assigned to the 4 divers on board were also very helpful and friendly during the whole day. Back at Neptune, Julian and Jo were waiting for us and eager to hear how our day went, and so we chatted about the day, and all sorts of other things with refreshments and yummy chocolate brownies. These 2 beautiful people are not only professional, they are super warm and friendly, and they genuinely care about providing the best experience for their visitors, and also provide a great working environment for their staff. When you walk out, it's like saying good bye to old friends. Not sure when, but I will be back for a third snorkel, and might even do a refresher and get the tanks on next time. Not Impressed

slow Boat to China took us too the snorkeling area and left 2 females on a boat of all men, who I might add were playing cards and gambling. They were not really interested in us but it was quite uncomfortable. One man said ‘ here you snorkel’ and pointed at the water. The water was quite dirty and had plenty of rubbish in it and you could see rock and nets and ropes in the water. We chose to leave without going in the water as it really looked awful.

Snorkelling

We had a fantastic day out snorkeling and watching the mantra feed and clean. Julian runs a very good operation from pick up, safty briefing, boat ride and snorkeling. Once back at base we had a delicious lunch and a beer or two! The staff love their jobs and it shows. Can't fault the day

Manta ray snorkelling

This was a truly a great day. From beginning to end. Very well run and organised. Julian likes his clients to feel as if everything is done for them and that is exactly what happened. The staff and guides were top notch. An added bonus was an hour swimming with the manta rays and then awesome inshore coral at our second spot. Totally recommend this trip to anyone but beware it can be a bit rough. I think we had a relatively calm day and the sea was quite big. However we were supplied with sea sick tablets which did the trick well Rounded up with a fantastic lunch back on shore.

Great snorkeling trip

We had a lovely day with Neptune Diving crew and I would recommend this tour if you want to get on a boat and see sights but can’t dive (like me!). As mentioned the crew were great, the boat was driven well and felt very safe. All equipment was in excellent working order and they really thought of everything to make the trip comfortable and enjoyable. It was a lovely day swing coral, mantas and beautiful tropical fish. I plan on doing another trip with this company!!! 5-stars!!!
