Nice venues, especially...

Nice venues, especially hot springs, but quite crowded with tourists. Tiger cave temple was stunning but wish it was better maintained and cleaner. Overall tour was fine.

Amazing hot springs waterfall and emerald swimming pool. Would do again!

This tour was great! Tip: they don’t tell you what to wear/pack. Shoes: the trails are flip-flop friendly, but if you choose to the 1,280 steps at the tiger cave, they are quite steep and some flimsy shoes might not be preferable. Clothes: if you choose to climb to the mountaintop temple or want to enter the tiger cave temple, women will need to have covered shoulder and knees, like any temple, though I’m not sure how enforced it is. You will want swimwear and a towel for the pools. First of all, the tour started early and our guide made sure we beat the crowds. As we were packing up to leave, throngs of people were swarming in. I was lucky that all the amazing trips I booked here were that way. Definitely recommend picking bookings that start early. Our tour was on Jan 2nd so prime tourist season. First, we went to the Emerald pool. This very well maintained park is a pretty jungle. You see 3 different pools and can swim in the middle one. Very beautiful and warmish as it’s fed by a hot spring. It is not hot, though as the pool you swim in is downstream from the picturesque aptly named blue pool that is at the beginning of the hot stream. There are small fish and it’s about 4.5 ft deep with a clean sand bottom. We then had a buffet lunch that was 150 bhat. It was tasty. Then, the highlight was the hot spring waterfalls! Pleasantly hot, clean and clear spring water flows beautiful, smooth, jade colored rocks that make for comfortable lounging and fun climbing. If you get too warm, you can slide down the rocks into the river that is quite cool, as it is fed by the previously visited spring that is 7 km away. After that, we took another ride to the mountaintop temple and tiger cave temple. My husband and sons and the other travelers climbed the 1,280 very steep tall narrow steps to the top. My knees do not like to go down steps so I skipped and just hung out in the shade at the bottom drinking a mango smoothie. TIP: the monkeys are abundant and can be quite aggressive grabbing at things they think are food including food, cups, and water bottles, so stay away from the monkeys when you have these things on display. They did not bother me at all sitting on the benches and picnic table, oddly enough, but were crazy when we walked to the tiger cave temple. They were jumping all around trying to, and succeeding, taking cups and ice cream and food and even a toddler’s bottle. We have done many great excursions so far on our Thailand trip, and this one was definía favorite. I wish this would let me include photos.

Great Experience

Abdi our tour guy was great gave us plenty of time on both The Emerald Pool as well as the Hor Springs and Tiguer Cave. As a solo traveler I appreciate the fact that he took my pictures. He was also funny and made sure everyone was dropped off to our hotel in a safely manner.

Nice day out from Krabi! The guide was on time and took us to the main attractions as per itinerary. He also took nice pictures for us while bathing at the springs.

Very enjoyable day long trip

Was an amazing trip to see the pool and hot springs. Although the tiger cave temple was a challenge - so come prepared to climb over 1200 steps!

Beautiful national parks

Beautiful areas to visit and our tour guide was savvy enough to get us to the attractions before the crowds showed up. Otto was awesome.

This experience was AWESOME! Beautiful places, including emerald pool. It was so nice to have the break of being in the nice waters, and the hot springs were super nice (especially since it started raining). The rain didn't stop anything. If you do plan on making the climb at tiger cave, BE PREPARED! It is not for the weak. I am active/athletic and this was rough (the rain probably didn't help). Almost everyone was struggling going up 1260 steps, but it is very rewarding. Although it was cloudy for most of it, it was still worth it to make the climb so don't let the bad weather discourage you! Would highly recommend this tour!!! Also they took us somewhere for lunch that was buffet style and delicious (and cheap since lunch isn't included).

GreaT tour

Bring good walking shoes, be aware of your belongings so monkeys don't steal them. Bring good traction shoes or watch your step for hot springs waterfall. Mr. Otto is a great guide.

World-Class Tour with a Top-Notch Guide

Absolutely phenomenal experience. We loved the nature trails through the pools; the midday lunch was excellent and affordable; the hot springs were beyond my expectations—truly incredible; and Tiger Temple is breathtaking. Our guide was incredibly thoughtful, timely but also didn’t rush anyone, and found ways to make the trip even more memorable. He took photos and video for us throughout each portion as well and sent them to us immediately—they were very endearing. We enjoyed our conversation and he taught us much about the jungle and Thailand while we drove or walked between destinations. 10/10 would recommend. It was common for people to go in pairs or small groups, but I think that solo travelers would do well as well. The trip overall was about 8 hours from pickup to drop off, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The rain didn’t hinder our experience at all either, for what it’s worth. Caution: the temple has 1,260 steps and it’s very cardio-intensive; if you are not physically in great shape, you might not be able to climb it.

Great day out

We went on this tour and everything was very well organised. The pickup was on time, otto is a very good guide and we enjoyed our day in the forest park, hot springs and went up the 1260 step tiger cave temple. The mini van was super comfortable as well !!

Otto is a very good tour guide, We really enjoyed the full day. Food was good in the restaurant and we got water as well. Otto told us everything what we needed to know.

Good experience

We had a good time on this tour. There was only 4 of us which made the experience very pleasant. The time in each stop was enough to enjoy and it didn’t feel rushed. The guide was flexible, nice and patient. Climbing the tiger cave steps can be challenging we have good fitness level and managed to climb up the stairs in around 25 minutes. Now it’s been 2 days and we still have pain in our calves haha Overall a good option if you are in Krabi and don’t feel like taking a boat trip to the islands everyday. :)

Great day experience with great guide and a great groups of people

We had a lovely day even with the rain it was a super fun day! The rain was welcomed on the hike up to the tiger cave temple - come prepared! Water, electrolytes and sturdy shoes. The views are worth it. Hot springs were beautiful and we loved the emerald pool too! The tiger cave is done after the hot springs and the pool so save some energy! We had a great guide called Otto who is super experienced, took lots of photos and was very informative. A great guide 10/10 would recommend

The best way to see hot spots around Krabi Town

I highly recommend this tour! We ended up being in a small, 3 person group and it was perfect. They were very accommodating with me arriving a bit late for departure due to transport issues. A quick WhatsApp call got everything in order. Otto was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable, talkative and overall very friendly. Even though we had a set amount of time for each attraction, he had no issues being flexible to accommodate our needs. We stayed longer at some places and less at others. On top of that, Otto was very aware of peak tourist hours and did his best to work around them so we wouldn’t have overcrowded visits. Finally, Otto took a BUNCH of pictures and videos, which he shared afterwards. Very appreciated! The tour itself gets you to all the hot spots around Krabi Town, for a cheap price. Bear in mind that you will need to bring an additional 650 baht to cover the parks and temple entrance fees, which are not included in the tour price. Even then, it is definitely worth every penny.

Great tour!

Otto was a great guide and unlike many tours in Thailand that we've been on he provided information about where we were, the history of it and answered any questions the group had well. He also loved taking photos for everyone and made sure that the energy was high despite it being a tad rainy on the day. He also told us how important it was to work together to climb the steps to the temple - and he was so right! The actual activities were really good with stunning scenery and nice pools/springs to relax in as well. The steps were hard but such a sense of achievement when we reached the top!

A great and full day!

We had a great time! It was awesome trekking through the trees and flora to see the pools and then getting to dip in one of them. Then getting to relax in the hot spring was wonderful. The climb to the Tiger Cave Temple was a FEAT and I gave up at step 520. My husband climbed to the very top and thought it was incredible. I would try it again but would advise anyone to know their limits (and don't let the monkeys steal your stuff). Throughout the day, our guide was very helpful! A great experience all around!

Super day with a super guide.

What a lovely trip. Swimming in the crystal pool was a definite highlight. Go early to beat the crowds. Make sure you have your climbing legs on before you tackle Tiger Temple, but it’s oh so worth it when you get there. Otto is super guide who made a fantastic video of the day’s trips and WhatsApp’d it to us before we even got back to our hotel. A lovely touch.

A great day out from Krabi

Picked up on time by Otto, and with some useful and friendly communication the day before via WhatsApp. Otto was enthusiastic and informative throughout the day, and he really helped make the most of the experience. Several stops throughout the day, culminating with the climb to the tiger temple. I take away some amazing memories from the day.

Fun excursion

We had a wonderful time on our experience. Our guide Otto and driver Mr. Go were great - very friendly and knowledgeable. They made us feel welcome and safe so we could have a fun time doing all of the activities.

challenging

Was a nice little tour. you see a pool, a hot springs and the last thing is a temple on top a mountain. getting up there is quite challenging. i would advice to choose the temple as the second destination so you can freshen up. if you don‘t have stamina to do that challenge you will lose a lot of the fun and maybe the tour isnt for you.

What a wonderful day. Otto was a fantastic host and Joy a great driver, sharing their love for the area. The locations were fantastic, and we saw them at great times of the day which helped it from getting too busy. All in all a 10/10 experience.

Lovely day out, especially the hot springs!

Overall: We had a nice day out on this trip, the hot springs were the highlight for us. Natural rock pools of hot springs which you can walk down and gradually make your way to the cold pool at the bottom! Really cool experience and felt like a spa. Changing rooms:There are changing rooms at the hot springs so you can dry off and get changed before the temple. Lunch: We had lunch near the emerald pool all together at a buffet place recommended by the guide, which was only 150bt per person including water. Advice: Do yourself a favour and don't walk the 1000+ steps up the cave unless you really love a challenge or you really love a view. There are amazing views all around Krabi, so for us it was not worth it in the end to climb up. Guide: Otto was a friendly guide, he was great at taking pics and videos throughout the day and he sent them all to us afterwards which was super helpful when you're swimming etc and can't use your phone. Thanks Otto! One recommendation is that it says bottled water is included but we only were offered this half way through the day, so please do bring your own water too. Would recommend making what will happen in terms of water, lunch and changing rooms clearer in the description so more people book on :)

A Natural Spa Day

Great fun, felt like a natural spa day. So many natural wonders and AB our tourguide was great, funny and informative, we were in good hands with him. This trip is definitely worth experiencing, so much fun

Beautiful scenery must see

Great Tour, Otto was fun and friendly! We got picked up from our hotels and headed off to the stops. The sites were BEAUTIFUL and worth it. Blue pool and emerald pool were beautiful. Swimming was so refreshing. We also went to the hot springs and enjoyed some time there. Went to tiger cave temple and climbed all the steps to the top, super hard. You can go at your own pace but definitely a challenge. About 30 minutes of going straight up & very steep stairs. There were monkeys at the top!! You do not have to go up and can just wait at the top. Super fun and cool, 10/10 recommend

Great experience for all, check the weather

Great experience for everyone whether it’s solo or with a group. Had a lovely time with the group and our guide, Otto, even thought it was it raining when I went. The tiger cave temple is not the easiest to get up with steep stairs and many people resting on the stairs on the way up.

Would 100% recommend this tour! We had Otto as our tour guide who obviously cared a lot about our enjoyment of the trip and the trip itself was planned really well. For example, Otto's tour started earlier than most tours (we were picked up at 7:45am) so we were able to visit the Emerald Pool when it was still quiet. Had the option of buffet lunch at a restaurant for 150baht or ordering a la carte and food was good. We got lucky and only had the 2 of us so it felt like a private tour. Good value for money as well- the price is cheaper than other options we found.

Excellent day out from Krabi

I was the only person on this trip which made it a personal experience! Excellent guide Mr Otto who looked after me and took mant pictures videos which he sent me at the end. Wevgot to Emerald pool early which meant less visitors. Climb to viewpoint wad very tiring but worth the pain!!

Best experience while in Krabi

Favorite trip of all Viator trips while on our visit to Krabi. The Emerald pools was amazing and love the jungle area around it. Decent size crowds, but not overcrowded, like all the rest of the tours.

Fun time in Krabi

Otto was a pleasure. Loved the trip overall. A touch more driving than I expected, but our time at the Emerald pool was spectacular and really loved the first stop. The Hot Springs was pretty spectacular as well. We absolutely got poured on on our trip to the tiger Temple and caves, but that made it kind of cool actually.

Really great tour with Otto. Got to go and experience very private tour with history, and knowledge of the jungle and wildlife. Great time with the emerald pool and blue pool! Also got to see many animals like monkey, baby leopard, birds. Hike to top was tiring, but worth the view!

Amazing Day

This was such a great day and tour! My tour guide, Ball, was really knowledgeable, and timed our stops perfectly, so we missed most of the crowds. The swims and viewpoints are amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour. I would suggest packing some good shoes for the optional climb at the tiger temple, it’s a lot of steep stairs, but it is worth doing, the views from the top are amazing!

Beautiful locations with wonderful guide

Gorgeous views, beautiful locations, and our tour guide Otto was amazing and super friendly! We walked through the national park, soaked in the hot spring, swam in the natural pool, saw a viper, and so much more!! The climb up to Tiger Cave Temple was too steep for me and I gave up halfway, but those who managed to complete it said it was worth the effort.
