Highlight of Thailand travels

This was our absolute highlight of our time in Thailand. The guides and driver were fantastic, knowledgeable and always catering. Positive vibes all the time. We saw so much in such a short amount of time. I would do this experience for a whole week if there was an option. Expertly planned from start to finish. We avoided crowds and maximised the amount of wildlife we could encounter. At the end we were genuinely sad to move on! Well worth every penny spent. All the best to the team ❤️

This lake is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in my life

I had a great time on this trip. It was more than I expected. The guide showed us many local plantations on the way to Khao Sok. He was very kind and funny. We really liked the food. These were home-cooking dishes ❤️ The group was small, just 4 people including us. The jungle hiking was good, but the highlight of our trip was the lake. It was amazing!!! Both views and sounds of the jungle. If you want to pick between jungle and lake, I would recommend choosing the lake :)

Best experience!!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The place is stunningly beautiful. Pagdet our tour guide from the Sutin Tour group made it exceptional. I can't say enough about him...his love for his beautiful country shows. You would not regret booking and requesting him as your guide.

Nice river and lake experience

Nice experience. This is a nature experience. Don’t expect luxuries. Guide was informative and willing to help us with transportation needs after the tour.

Incredible trip!

Absolutely fabulous trip. We were extremely lucky to have Padet as our guide. Extremely friendly and enthusiastic about teaching us all about the areas we were exploring. He and the other staff on our trip clearly had a genuine desire for us to have a great time. We saw some very beautiful places and some of these were the highlights of our overall trip to Thailand. We had some departures from the expected itinerary so come prepared to be flexible!

An interesting and memorable trip to Khao Sok

Our guide Pradet and driver Sompong were excellent and you really couldn’t meet nicer. We saw and did so much in such a short space of time…mangroves, temples, hiking, kayaking, plants and trees, bats, spiders, monkeys and more… and the highlight of seeing an elephant in the wild. Not to mention the delicious food and amazing scenery. As a family we highly recommend this tour, you will enjoy every minute. Thanks Pradet and Sompong.

Memorable experience

Highly recommend this experience for those who enjoy scenic beauty and adventure. The guide was efficient and each activity was enjoyable. The food at the jungle retreat was delicious. Accommodation at the floating bungalows is very basic and the washroom situation could be improved. A little minor discomfort was worth it however, as the scenery is truly spectacular.

Beautiful scenery and fun time

The places we visited were so beautiful. Our guide Pradet K was so knowledgeable and competent. And he was fun . This tour was an immersion in nature, experiencing jungle, lake and rivers. Great food too

Highlight of our trip to Thailand

We would highly recommend this tour! This will definitely go down as a highlight for our trip to Thailand. We started off with pick up in Krabi, and then on our way to the jungle retreat. We stopped at a beautiful temple. After experiencing the temples in Bangkok getting to go to this one which was pretty secluded not a lot of people. It was such a different experience and one I am so grateful we got to have. Then we stopped at a cave where we got to feed fish. My kids met one of the stray dogs whom they loved! The jungle retreat was so wonderful! The food was absolutely incredible some of the best of our trip. Our tour guide let us have rest time when we needed it, but filled our days with such fun activities like kayaking, swimming, and hiking. We really got to see a part of Thailand that it felt like we wouldn’t have seen had we not booked this trip. As we ventured out to the lake retreat, we took a beautiful drive, followed by an even more beautiful boat ride to the cabins over the lake. Our pictures did not capture the stunning beauty that surrounded us. Everything about the lake was spectacular. The cabins were so perfect sleeping on the water, our day at the lake also included a boat tour around the lake where we saw plenty of wildlife on the shorelines. We also explored an incredibly cool cave with lots of bats. 🦇 Our tour guide, and driver were so wonderful and accommodating! They were beyond friendly and so wonderful to everyone in our family!! If I would’ve done anything differently, I would recommend having bathing suit underneath clothes. Even for things that don’t seem like they’re going to be wet activities. We did have some wet clothing by the time we returned, but we came back to Krabi where we just did laundry. All in all, this was an incredible experience I would highly recommend!

Beautiful nature, quiet qnd whole lot of animals

Great experience and fun. We could have stayed in the lake huds for a weeks.. to see the oldest rainforest in the world with all these animals. This trip will never be forgotten. Thank you, Chai!! Don't miss this if you possibly can... and are in the area!!

Excellent itinerary - superb guide - go!

Our guide Pradet was magnificent, he went out of his way to give us the most unique experience, he was friendly, professional and super communicative from the initial booking organising and during the trip. His knowledge of the english language was so helpful & he taught us some Thai words too which was very nice & we appreciated his patience. He was also very fun, we laughed a lot! He was super observant and pointed out so much wildlife which we may not of spotted! There are lots more photos including a beautiful park and a stunning temple. The food on the trip was top notch too and Pradet catered for our vegetarian option. He altered the pace to suit us where he could and knew we loved swimming so we had plenty of swimming stops. He pointed out papaya and pineapple plantations, where we saw a cobra in a tree! Very exciting & memorable trip and he also kept us safe. Amazing. You should Go!!

What a fantastic trip! We saw some many beautiful things. Our guide Pradet had a lot of knowledge and was happy to share it with us. Everything was also good organized. Food was delicious. We couldn't wish beter!!!

Amazing trip! We couldn’t have been more looked after. Our tour guide spoke good English, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The jungle tree house in particular was very comfortable and the food there was the best we’ve had in Thailand so far. We enjoyed so many activities and sights, and had a great 3 days!

We booked this very last-minute and were SO pleasantly surprised by the experience!! The tours were terrific, Jasmine (our guide) was really helpful. The tour offering was really unique for this US tourist and a truly memorable experience. The river bungalows were air conditioned and clean. The raft house was a most unique experience --- allow yourself some time at the end of the day to get a glass of wine and watch the sunset. The location allows for a most-perfect viewing. There are a few suggestions I'd like to offer to make your experience really satisfying: 1. bring a copy of your itinerary --- the tour might rearrange some visits for good reasons (weather, construction, etc) and your guide may not be as fluent in your language as you might hope. So to have a copy on hand to share and review together will help you both communicate more clearly. 2. make sure you bring local currency --- many places in Thailand do not accept credit cards. So if you want any beer or wine during your trip, you will need cash. 3. plan for enough cash to have at the end of the trip to be able to tip your guide -- our guide was dropped off near her town en route to our hotel and we were glad to have planned ahead. 4. don't bring luggage --- it will be very inconvenient in the lodging areas. The bungaloes are raised one story so the stairs would be difficult to navigate with traditional luggage; and the raft house on Cheow Lan is entirely on pontoons. Recommend you leave it with your hotel and pack just your necessities in a duffle.
