Yet another fantastic experience! This is the second tour I've booked with Mr. Mukherjee, and as always, it was absolutely brilliant. This time, we explored a true hidden gem: Parshwanath Temple. It's such a breathtaking landmark, and I was genuinely surprised it wasn’t crowded with tourists! Mr. Krishnendu, as expected, was an exceptional guide, providing rich insights throughout the tour. I even managed to do a bit of shopping, making the day even more memorable.

Kolcata Trips -- the highlight of our trip to India!

Tithankar Mukherhjee and Kolkata trips were the best guides imaginable for an incredible city. After visiting the golden triangle my friend and I decided to visit Kolcata and it was the highlight of an already amazing trip. Tithankar thought of everything and showed us so much more than the city highlights. To help us dive deeper into the city we were joined by a local city guide and historian Krish who explained the history and cultural significance of what we were seeing. This added so much to an already fulfilling experience. And we saw everything! From the colorful flower market to the sombre Mother's House and so much more. Kolkata trips took care of everything and we simply sat back and soaked it all in. My trip to India was life changing and Kolkata stands out as it's pinnacle. I cannot recommend Kolcata trips more. Five stars +++!

The best of Kolkata

Kolkata Trips provided a comprehensive itinerary for seeing Kolkata up close. Our guide was very knowledgeable of local culture, history, and architecture. The KT team were quite hospitable and willing to alter the planned itinerary according to our interests. They communicated with us before and during our trip, and were always punctual. My friend and I had an amazing experience one-day tour of Kolkata. The car was safe and comfortable and the driver was well-experienced. Our tour assistant Mr. Mukherjee was very reliable, knowledgeable, respectful, responsible and kind. For planning the trip, our priorities were considered and everything went according to our prior agreement. It was a fantastic day and I would thoroughly recommend it to others.

Definitely one of the most memorable days of my life! We visited so many amazing places in Kolkata that I can't say which one was the best. Kolkata trip!

I visited Kolkata almost after 3 years due to Covid and everything looked so different. My sister had planned the tour with Mr. Mukherjee, it was his hospitality that made the tour worthwhile. He guided us and showed us around and the interesting bit was that I discovered new information and places that I had not known to date. Mr. Mukherjee was extremely polite, kind, and went the extra mile so that we could get the best out of the tour. I would recommend Mr. Mukherjee and would in the future plan more trips with him. Kolkata sightseeing with family and friends

This is our second Kolkata tour with Mr. Mukherjee. No doubt that visiting cultural sites is a great feeling and enriching but our tour is made the most enjoyable, full of ease & entertainment because of Mr. Mukherjee. Very Pleasant Trip to Santinikentan

We took a day trip to Shantiniketan from Calcutta with “Kolkata Trips.” It was a very pleasant experience, the owner/driver/tour operator Mr. Tirthanker Mukherjee was extremely helpful. He not only took care of our physical comfort, he also made sure that we feel happy throughout the journey. He was very courteous and an energetic person, trying to take us through every sight that we may like to visit. I would highly recommend this tour for all age groups. And last but not the least, the car was very nice, and so was his careful driving.

Outstanding experience with Kolkata Trips

I am a retired doctor from Kolkata, 82 yrs old, and along with my wife and my daughter who is visiting us from abroad for ten days, decided to take a trip to Santiniketan, an old abode of Rabindranath Tagore, the Nobel laureate in literature and an icon of India, a patriot, visionary and poet. His poetry has inspired generations of Indians. The Biswabharati University shows his love for education and how important it is for human progress and civilization. We decided to organize our travel through Kolkata Trips as at our age we were anxious about finding reliable transport locally if we travelled by train. We were very happy with service of Kolkata Trips and Mr. Tirthanker Mukherjee from this tour company, who accompanied us on the trip. The tour car was a very comfortable new Maruti Ertiga, fully sanitized, supplemented with hand sanitizers, water bottles, and simple packed snacks . Mr. Mukherjee was at the wheel –he is an excellent driver and drove with great concentration. He gave us an outstanding tour of Santiniketan, taking us to major and minor attractions of the area. On the way home, Mr. Mukherjee maneuvered through heavy traffic with great skill and dexterity. I would highly recommend his services for knowledge of our history and heritage, reliability, efficiency, courtesy and professional care. One word of caution- do your best to avoid traveling at night because of the heavy vehicle traffic.

Excellent full day tour of Santiniketan

We recently booked a full day tour for Santiniketan with Kolkata Trips. It was a wonderful experience. Mr. Mukherjee who took us on the tour is very professional and organized. He clearly cares about giving his clients the best experience possible. He recommended a change in our initial booking keeping in mind several different considerations and it turned out to be a much better fit given our interests. I travelled with my elderly parents, and he was very attentive to their needs and went above and beyond to ensure their comfort during the trip. The tour car is clean, comfortable, COVID safe, and comes equipped with refreshments, water and umbrellas. I was visiting Santiniketan again after many years. As an admirer of Tagore’s poetry, this place has emotional meaning for me, and Mr. Mukherjee created an excellent itinerary which made the visit memorable. While sharing detailed and interesting information about sites visited, he also organized a local guide who brought history alive when showing us the Visva-Bharati University campus. Mr Mukherjee is very flexible as a host, tailoring the visit according to client preferences. He is generous with his time and knowledge, as well as gracious and kind in temperament. This is the second tour I have done with Kolkata Trips. The first one was a full day Kolkata tour in 2018 with my daughter who was very young at the time. Both times, my experience has been excellent. Everything is impeccably arranged, the travel feels safe and comfortable, and the tours are crafted in way to heighten appreciation of the rich history, culture and beauty of Kolkata and the wider region. I recommend Kolkata Trips very highly.

Fantastc 2 day tour of Kolkata

We contacted Kolkata Tours to arrange a two day tour of Kolkata Mr Mukherjee very promply replyed and arranged this for us. On each morning T Makherjee was waiting for us in the hotel reception to start the tour at 9 a.m. He went through the intinary with us for the two days, he said if we wanted to change anything there was no problem. We went out to the car it was immaculately clean with A/C and also had a welcome pack of drinks and snacks. T Mukherjee speaks very good english and is a very good driver, he is an excellant and generous host and showed us known and unknown sites of Kolkata. We particularly enjoyed Mothers House, Jain Temple, Flower Market and many other of the real Kolkata. On the first day he suggested we try some street food which was very nice, also we went to a well known coffee house that the locals go to and in the evening before going back to the hotel he suggested we go to a restaurant which specialises in Indian Biryani delicious. On the scond day we visited the Flower Market and had a walk across the Howrah Bridge and the Victoria Memoral and a number of other interesting places in the afternoon we visited a well know restaurant he recommended for lunch which was excellant. We found t Mukherjee very knowledgeable of Kolkata History, he never hurried you at any of the sites we viisited and nothing was a problem to him, we have some wonderful photos which he took and forwarded on to us a lasting memory of our tour. I would have no hesitation in recommending Kolkata Tours to anybody and we wish him every success in the future and hope we will meet up with him again. Billy & Margaret From Scotland

Great day out in Kolkata!

Mr. Mukherjee was an excellent host for our day out in Kolkata! We were limited on the amount of time we had to see the city, as we were in town for a wedding, and Mr. Mukherjee helped us prioritize which sites to visit. Kolkata is vibrant with so many hidden details that Mr. Mukherjee helped bring to light as we toured around. We particularly enjoyed the flower market and the restaurant he recommended for lunch. We also really appreciated his knowledge of Kolkata's history.

Colorful Authentic Experience

Comprehensive taste of Kolkata. Full of color and life. Flowers, ghats, pottery and the traditional highlights. Mr. Mukherjee is knowledgeable and kind and puts together an excellent day. Great lunch spot too! Book it!

An Amazing Day out in Kolkata

It’s always difficult choosing a day tour from trip advisor reviews, but within seconds of meeting T. Mukherjee at our hotel in Kolkata we knew we had made the right decision. He arrived very promptly and parked directly outside our hotel. We had previously given him and idea of the sort of things we wanted to see and do and he had already made up an itinerary for us based around how busy the roads were and the direction of travel (did you know that one way roads in Kolkata reverse their direction at 1pm every day?) He went through the itinerary with us and made a few tweaks based on what we had already seen and off we went in the car. The car was immaculately clean, had very welcome A/C, there was nice relaxing ambient Indian music playing throughout our trip which turned out to be composed by someone whose house we passed on the tour, there was a picnic breakfast on the seat and plenty of water bottles to last throughout the day. And most surprisingly of all, free unlimited Wifi if we wanted to use it. We also spotted in the back there was a large First Aid kit and an emergency loo roll – fortunately we didn’t need to resort to using either of them! Mukherjee's English is excellent and his explanations of the various sites were clear and compelling. We visited main tourist sites as well as local interesting places and food and coffee shops. I don’t know how we packed so much into the day which started at 10am and finished at nearly 7, an hour over what we had planned, but we never felt rushed, we were given just the right amount of time that we needed in each place. We parked directly outside each venue, so didn’t have to walk far at all, when he couldn’t park directly outside, he dropped us off at the door while he went to find somewhere to park. Mukherjee is a real gentleman, opening car doors for us, being extremely careful with us crossing the roads and he even carried a rucksack for us when it would have got in the way when we were taking photos in tight market spots. Mukherjee even took extra photos of us on his mobile phone, which we swapped on WhatsApp. If you have any doubt, don’t worry just book this day trip to Kolkata you wont regret it. Why can we only give him 5 stars? He deserves 6!

Great time with Mr. Mukherjee

My wife and I spent a very nice day with Mr. Mukherjee and our guide Mr. Shankar with the itinerary customized based on our needs. Mr. Mukherjee was easy to reach before the trip and provided us with lots of helpful info so we are well prepared for the day of tour. Mr. Mukherjee is friendly, outgoing and really cared about our experience, I would highly recommend him to anyone going to Kolkata for the first time like us.
