Diving in Koh Tao

I booked it as a last minute option for my open water course. The communication was great from the start, George replied super quick to my queries. Tomas was helping me to register a day before I started the course, he was super nice and helpful. My instructor was Esna, she was very helpful from the beginning to the end. If I had any questions she took her time and patience to guide me. I can say that I feel way more confident now underwater and looking forward to continuing my diving journey. Dpm is a great place to do your diving courses. I cannot recommend enough. Fantastic team! Everyone is welcoming! Thank you for everyone!

Open water 30 and the advanced course! What can I say, DPM felt like a family the second I arrived, George and Anna were so welcoming and friendly and helped me out with everything including accommodation and sorting out my courses and answering any questions I had. My open water 30 course with Colo was amazing he is a great teacher and honestly he has made me want to pursue a career in diving. He was patient and explained everything fully and ensured everyone was okay and safe at 30 m down. My advanced course was done by Sergi and he was great he helped me learn my buoyancy and how to navigate under water, he took me on 2 wreck dives and a night dive and he made sure to show everyone all of the different marine life, I was lucky enough to see an eel, octopus, hermit crab, some huge puffer fish, and a grouper that probably could have fit me inside it x2. Not only the courses were great, the social side of DPM is what makes it stand out. I had met people on the boat that were doing dive masters and ended up spending most of my time with them to even going to a meal with all of the DPM staff. 10/10 would recommend and I will be going back in a few months to complete my dive masters and maybe the instructor course with them!

So much fun!

I dove with Jony and Mind. We had an amazing time! I met other solo divers, it was super easy to socialize. I felt super safe and comfortable with the diving equipment. Luckily, I had a few extra days and got my advanced diving certification too! I would look into staying at the DPM hostel as well.

Highlight of my trip to Thailand

My experience with DPM Koh Tao as a first time diver could not have been more positive. I completed my open water and advanced in 5 days and only wish I could have done more! Joaco and Jessy were incredible, they were so supportive and reassuring throughout, and made the experience so enjoyable. The dives were all fantastic, and my whole group have now come out with a true passion for all things diving! Special mention to Ethan as well for taking us on a brilliant night dive. I already have plans to revisit DPM Koh Tao in the near future to complete my master training, and to bring others who want to start their diving career! If you’re looking to dive in Koh Tao, DPM is without a doubt your best option.

Open five course

It was a fantastic experience my instructors were really easy to talk to and super friendly, I was nervous about my ear pressure going into the course but they were very attentive and I completed my course. Really enjoyed the diced especially the last one that was where we saw the most corals and fish 🐠. Highly recommend

From novice to sdvanced in a week

Great instructors, where safety comes first. Started doing an open water certification with DPM and stayed on an extra couple of days to complete the advanced course I couldnt fault the staff especially my two instructors Pat and Jony for making me feel welcome and, above all safe when out on the water. Taken through core skills for diving at the beginning of the week and ended with a 30m dive to a submerged war ship. Very friendly atmosphere throughout the centre and affordable logdings for those who like dormitory life. If you come to Koh Tao you have to try diving and I would recommend DPM 100%, even it's just for a fun day out. You never know you may end up as an instructor in a year's time.

DPM Open Water Course

What can I say! Such an amazing experience, it’s very fairly priced if you have a couple of extra quid whilst you’re away. DPM is a perfect place to feel at place and involved from the moment arrive. All the staff are so welcoming and lovely, makes you feel apart of the team almost instantly! My instructer Jony was such a lovely, enthusiastic, and patient man who would make sure you’re as comfortable as you are whilst out in the sea. The whole DPM team and site needs superb recognition, definitely a must do if you’re wanting todo it💙

DPM .. best diving school in Thailand

Malena… super friendly and bubbly personality made it achievable with limited confidence .. the effort to train and educate me on the course whilst still being enjoyable, and relaxed. I’m 50 so it’s not just for the young but the young at heart too. The whole team were so friendly and fun we were made to feel welcome and part of the make up of DPM. The guys at reception ❤️ so helpful after the ferry was fully booked abd we were a day late !! Couldn’t have been more accommodating. I can't thank the team of dpm diving Koh Tao enough for opening this new world to me. I struggled in the beginning and lost the hope of learning to dive a bit. They were right there helping me until the end and I managed to get my certificate. If you're ever in Koh Tao, don't miss out on this opportunity. You're in good hands here. Amazing open water course experience in Koh Tao

Booked a last minute trip from Koh Samui to Koh Tao before I finished my trip and headed back to the states. I really wanted to get certified for open water while I was in Thailand and DPM did not disappoint. My instructor Harry taught me everything I needed to know to feel comfortable going to deeper dives and made our whole group (4 students) feel confident handling emergency procedures if we needed to while at depth. Can’t recommend this place enough, and ask for Harry to be your instructor 100%

Great experience with open water course!

I had the pleasure diving with Marlene and Ricky when I did the open water course at Dpm. They explained everything really well and I felt safe and taken care of throughout the whole course. I will definitely recommend them!

I did the open water course with Anna and it was amazing! She explained it to us in the easiest way so everyone could understand and enjoy. All the staff is very kind. Loved the experience and definetely i would come back.

Sub aqua legends

Learning to dive with dpm was truly an amazing experience!! The whole team were amazing from Marga helping us get settled, to Sergi teaching us in the classes and Joni and Mark watching out for us and teaching us all the necessary skills in the water. Sergi's classes were very easy to follow and contained all of the necessary information needed to dive safely and to do the test at the end. Mark and Joni in the water were a dream team! Joni as the instructor showing and guiding us through all of the skills and Mark helping us with our gear and answering any questions. Both were a great help and truly added to our experience diving!! I'd highly recommend coming here to dive, for the price and included accommodation, it's an absolute steal. Add the team to this and you'll have the best possible diving experience!

Mathilde was a great instructor and DPM is an excellent and best vaule for money to do the course

Mathilde Was a great scuba instructor i did my Padi course back in July and passed with the excellent and value for money that DPM had provided. The schedule on my side was a bit mad due to the weather and ferry not going ahead Despite that the communication and patience from DPM to fit me was beyond the usual customer serivce i would recieve. The place is very nice and cosy. The people there are very welcoming and engaging. I will be defintely going back to complete the otther course they offer

Doing my Open Water Course with DPM Diving and their great instructor Ignacio Gastaldo was the best decision during my vacation in Thailand. Couldn’t be happier about it. For anyone who wants to learn how to dive safely and in an extremely fun way, go to DPM!

Best place to dive in Koh Tao

The stuff is super friendly, attentive and caring. I enjoyed both my staying and my diving training experience, everything well pretty well. The atmosphere of the hostel is very cozy and cool.

Best experience in Thailand!

Best Scuba diving experience ever!! Amazing staff, so friendly and welcoming. They offer BBQ nights, party out together as a whole diving school, and great accomodation included. Couldn't have asked for a better instructor than Marga, although giggling underwater probably isn't recommended :/ Great social atmosphere and FOOD ++. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to dive in Koh Tao.

Best diving community in Koh Tao!

An incredible, community-based diving school and hostel. Did my open water course led by the amazing Nacho who was patient, enthusiastic, and encouraging. Had never dived before but loved it so much that I did the advanced right after! The hostel is also friendly and welcoming, you leave with many new friends and a love for diving.

Highly recommend DPM!

To stay in DPM is more than diving. I did my Open-Water and i loved and enjoyed the experience. I asked for a german instructor and DPM made it possible. And in addition to that a german dive master (Carina) too. The whole staff was experienced, organized and professional. Could not feel more comfortable. We stayed in DPM also for the nights and it felt like home. Thank you very much! I will come back to dive with you again!

Dpm review

I did my open water with Francisco and absolutely loved it. He took his time and taught me more than I thought I’d learn. We learned in groups of 4 and everyday i was excited. They took us to some really nice dive spots and the fish never disappointed me. I am now certified to go 18m deep and hope to come back to take my advanced open water with dpm.

Great Open Water course, great instructor

I did my open water course at DPM and couldn’t have been happier. My instructor Nico Di Luca was very nice and encouraging, and his communication was clear both on ground and underwater. He also made me feel safe underwater so I was able enjoy the diving fully, even as a first time diver. A relaxed and fun atmosphere!

Best Diving Centre on Koh Tao

This must be the best diving centre on Koh Tao!! I was only planning on taking the open water course, but ended up taking the deep adventure course as well. The people on dpm are very sweet and helpful, and I’ve had the best first-diving experience. A Big thanks the whole dpm-team and the best diving instructor Nico De Luca!!

Unique Experience

I get my Open Water course with Francisco, I enjoyed a lot the course, with lessons and divings!! He’s very professional and i get all the information needed for a very safe and funny diving. Ignacio is very kind and always make me and my boyfriend, who did the Advanced Course, feel comfortable in dpm place and getting everything we needed. The dpm staff is the dream team that everyone would like to have in a diving experience!!

After looking for different options to do our openwater course, we ended deciding for DPM and It was absolutely the best decision that we could’ve made. The place to go Scuba & Freediving

I loved my time at dpm! I did both freediving and scuba diving courses and my instructors were amazing. The hotel is clean and full of buena onda! Everyone is super helpful! I would highly recommend!

One of the best diving center in Koh Tao

One of the best diving center in Koh Tao Top class staffs and instructors with enjoyment and safety. There was no plan for our trip but finally in one morning we woke up and decided to take openwater course (we do freediving for 2-3 years). We did a quick surveys and go through many reviews on most diving center in Koh Tao and pick up what we think best for us....and we were correct. DPM diving Koh Tao give us one of the best experiences and open new chapter of underwater world. Safety is their top priority for openwater lesson. We feel really safe and fun during the lesson. Instructor always remind us in all saftey rules and point us all important points. Me persionally, really recommended to everyone who want to start diving with them. We will definitly come back here again for advance course. Thanks to Bombert and Honey for teach us how to scuba with safety and fun. Ps-they can do lesson in Thai, English and Spanish ^^

Incredible experience! As a total beginner who was feeling a bit weary of diving, I couldn't have selected a better team than DPM to learn with. Nico teaches with patience and expertise, and has a way of making all of his students feel 100% safe and confident in their abilities above and below water. The DPM team is extremely friendly, flexible and knowledgable, and made the entire experience fun for our whole group (especially by hosting an Argentinian BBQ!). In three days, I went from weary to self-reliant in my diving skills and I have Nico to thank. Best diving on Koh Tao - so glad we chose DPM :)

The course is very well done. It really teaches what you need to know under water. From the preparation of the dive to the end of the dive itself. It is very practical and I do appreciate a lot.

Absolutely amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better first diving experience. My instructor was Nico and he was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, not only did he make the trips fun but also I felt 100% safe at all times. There is no question I will be going back to dive with these guys again and for the famous Argentinian bbq also! 10/10!

Amazing open water course experience

I took the open water course with Nico and it was an amazing experience. He was very kind and patient when I started panicking about breathing with the mouth piece. DPM took us to great coral reefs and we saw a great variety of fish during our dive. I would recommend this scuba diving company to anyone who wants to learn to scuba dive or wants more diving experience.

10/10 experience - will come back again

I did my open water course with DPM and I cannot recommend it enough. The instructors are very professional and they really make sure you are comfortable and ok at all times. I had a hard time equalizing and my instructor Nico (aka Bomber) really helped and was very patient and nice about it. Gerva and the other instructors were also super nice and gave us recommendations for places to eat and visit. Everyone helps you have a fun time while ensuring you are safe under water. We also had a barbecue with lots of good food and music on our last night which was really fun. The hostel itself is also nice, the room was very clean and had AC, and they gave us towels and other toiletries. I’m looking forward to coming back to DPM to dive again!!

Best in The Business - DPM Diving

DPM is the Fire while Nico is the Bomb :) For someone who is afraid of water, Nico (Bomber) poved to be a blessing in disguise. A mellow teacher who connects with his divers before, during and after the dive and makes the whole experience person al. Great! Open Water Coruse

I did my Open Water course in Koh Tao with DPM Diving and I can only recommend the experience to everyone! The Island is beautiful, the dives are great and the Instructors at DPM are super professional and nice. I will be back for my next level course, hopefully very soon :)

Awesome experience

Open Water diving in Koh Tao with the best crew!! What an awesome experience! 3 days of so much fun and learning! Totally recommend it. We ended the course doing a beach clean up, such a great experience. Hopefully I'll be back soon in December

I did my Open Water Course with Dpm and I totally recommend this experience to everyone! And of course, I recommend to choose DPM Diving. My Instructor Nico was very patient and made me feel safe every time. The course was 1 to 1, so I had him all for myself. I think this private approach made it easier for me. The Divesites were amazing, full of life and colors.

Diving with the best!

I did my Open Water course with Nico at DPM and it was an amazing experience! He's a super professional Instructor, always taking care of everything to make the students feel comfortable at every moment. The course was perfect, we learned about diving and ecology, and we ended the course with a beach clean up activity, which was something I neved did before. I wasn't sure what to expect, but we learned a lot from this experience. I totally recommend DPM Diving if you are a beginner or an experienced diver, these guys are the best!

Great diving experience with DPM Diving. It was my first time scuba diving and Im sure I choose the best team to do it! I also participated in a beach clean up they do every week, it was an incredible experience. It really makes you think about our planet and our oceans. I recommend everyone to join !

Awesome Instructor, Great Experience | Open Water & Deep Adventure

DPM was suggested to me by a friend and a trusted friend’s recommendation hardly ever goes wrong. I ended up doing 7 dives with Bomber (Nico) and the experience was phenomenal. It was my first time diving and Bomber was super patient and calm through the entire process. The pool lessons were great, the attention while diving to make sure I’m alright at all times made me feel super comfortable and confident. Highly professional. 100% recommend DPM to anyone. Can’t wait to get back for the advanced course :D
