La Bombona Diving Koh Tao Try Dive

Truly wonderful experience

We booked two fun dives with La Bombona Diving and we were lucky enough to have Noelia as our dive master. She is caring, fun, knowledgeable and very professional. She made us feel safe and was always checking on us during our dives. She’s a wonderful human being and we feel blessed we had the chance to meet her today. Noelia, thank you for your patience and your constant smile. We will definitely come back!

Me and a friend did the one day diving experience at Koh Tao having both never done scuba diving before. We both loved it Ernest was our instructor who was brilliant and was so helpful. would recommend this to anyone who is staying on Koh Tao and would like to do scuba diving.

Worst experience ever. Simply Horrible

Unfortunately, It was a simple and horrible experience. Although previously, I dived in Gili T and Phi phi Islands, trust me was onely the best experiences. MY dive instruction was not all friendly, and He wanted us yo do everything by myself. I would like not to recommend these schools specifically for the people who are looking for the first time experience.

La Bombona = Best on Koh Tao

Had a great time doing some fun dives with La Bombona on Koh Tao. Would definitely recommend this place, super friendly and made sure I had a great time.

Racist Diving Staff

Im from Canada. Scuba diving was good. Was chilling alone at boat front smoking weed, then this oldie came out shouting from other end of the boat saying to kill my joint. Im fine if there are rules. But in the pic below another white guy was smoking weed sitting beside him. He didnt say anything. Seems this oldie had a problem with my skin color. I recommend the agency to train their staff on diversity and inclusion before unleashing them to people.

Lifetime experience

I did the one-day diving experience here, and it was simply amazing! Amazing team, friendly and great professionals! We started trying on the suits suitable for our size, we went through a theory class to learn the basics of diving and before moving on to diving in concrete, we practiced some of the diving techniques in shallow waters. The instructors were always available to help and clarify doubts. The two dives were simply incredible, the marine life on Koh Tao is abundant. I recommend La Bombona and if you have time, do the diving course!

Amazing experience!!

The Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Everything was explained thoroughly which made you feel so calm and comfortable. My friends and I had a the best time ever diving so thank you so much!!

Best place ever to experience the first dive

Best place to do your first dive. Instructors were amazing and explained the instructions really good and understandable for people with 0 experience. I highly recommend the second dive, which is optional, but it is worth it as you are more relaxed and they will bring you in a different area where there are better views than the first plqce. Rocío was really helpful as well, 10 out of 10 overall!!!

Best experience

This was one of my best experiences of my life! I can recommend it to everyone to try it out! If you don't have time for 3 days or want to try it first, then this trip is perfect! This was my first time and the lessons were explained in a very understandable way, so that you understand everything and you don't need to be afraid. At this point, many thanks again to George and Bob for this great memory!

Incredible experience and so proud of us!

My fiancé and I did the Try Dive after both always wanting to give it a go…just wow! Incredible experience, like no other. Our instructors (Katie & Camilla) were patient, experienced and informative. I really did not believe I was going to do it but so proud that I did. Don’t hesitate, just do it!

Wonderful experience - don't hesitate to book!!

What a fantastic day out! My boyfriend and I booked the Try Dive for one day whilst we were exploring Koh Tao for a long weekend. Highly recommend!! George was our instructor, followed by his assistants Ben and Issa - professionals at work. During our training, George went into good detail about scuba diving and filled us with confidence before taking the plunge. Throughout the dive, the whole team made you feel calm and allowed us to explore the coral areas of Koh Tao (Sairee Beach area). After our first dive, we got the opportunity to do a second - we jumped at the chance! All round a wonderful experience and something all should do when visiting Koh Tao. We're hoping to complete our Open Water Course somewhere along our travels, all spurred on by the team at La Bombana. Thanks guys!!

It was worth the effort because of the seabed we saw

The treatment was very good! Our teacher, Txus a 10! I didn't like that there was no suitable material for my 9-year-old daughter and they should have told me that. The bottle was huge for her, the glasses were adult ones... if they had warned me I would have taken her glasses from here. It seemed unsafe to me and we only had one instructor when we were with two girls. Luckily, Toni, the photographer, is a Dive Master and gave us a hand. In any case, I value it well because TXUS was attentive to us at all times, made us feel safe and did not force us to do the second dive. I thought we would have to leave the activity, but my daughter got used to nothing on the side. (the bottle thought more than her), she assumed that water was getting through her glasses and she enjoyed the most seeing the seabed that Kho Tao offered us.

La mejor escuela de Koh Tao

Después de mucho buscar escuela de buceo para hacer el open water 20, nos decidimos por La Bombona Diving… hoy hemos acabado nuestro open water y podemos decir bien fuerte que hacerlo con ellos ha sido la mejor decisión que hemos tomado!! Desde el primer momento con Roció y su equipo ha ido todo sobre ruedas desde el papeleo hasta el más mínimo detalle dentro y fuera del centro! Nuestro instructor Ponxi ha sido un grandísimo profesional que nos lo ha puesto todo súper fácil para que disfrutemos al máximo de este maravilloso mundo que es el buceo y además nos ha ayudado en cosas del día a día fuera de la escuela poniéndose a nuestra disposición y eso se agradece mucho! Ha sido todo un enorme placer hacer el curso con vosotros y pasar estos días juntos, muchísimas gracias y seguro repetiremos más inmersiones juntos!! Mil gracias!!
