We had an excellent morning with a very knowledgeable guide, we visited all the promised locations and the timings were adapted to meet our requirements ( it was very hot and we did not want time shopping in the Jewish quarter). All to time and the dinner was also very good. Would recommend

Walking tour of old Kochi

Morning well spent in Fort Kochi

Highly recommended Walking tour.

I’ve been to Fort Kochi over 20 times, this was the first time we did a walking tour and it was the best decision ever. Vijayan is knowledgable, pleasant, funny, patient and has great communication skills. His passion is contagious and we wound up seeing so much more in 4 hours than, I have in all my visits combined Extremely happy with the service and would recommend Vijayan without a second thought!!!

An encounter with the history of Kochi and India.

Very nice memories overall. We enjoyed the refreshing walk along the sea and watched fishermen catching fish using the chinese nets. The palace of the Maharaja on the hills was also impressive. We learned a lot about the history of the region thanks to our energetic and passionate guide. My son lost his back bag during the visit and we managed to get it back thanks to the efforts of Vijesh Sir.

Anyone looking for a tour of Fort Cochi, look no further! Vijesh's tour was incredible, he is so knowledgeable about the city and we learned a lot. He also provided great recommendations for lunch and dinner spots. Vijesh is full of fun and laughs, the tour flew by we were having so much fun. We will definitely be doing another tour with him when we return to Kerala.

Excellent tour with an enthusiastic guide!

We've spent about 3 hours with Vijesh in Cuchi, in which he took us through the Jewtown, in which the Jewish community used to be, including the old synagogue. The second part was the old fort area, and the European architectural influence. it Vijesh was full of knowledge a d very enthusiastic about his city. we learned a lot and we enjoyed every minute if the tour.

Houseboat tour + Fort Kochi Sightseeing

Vijesh showed us around Alleppy and old town of kochi. He was extremely professional and full of joy. He went above and beyond what we had opted for, and made sure that we didn’t miss anything. I would recommend him for any sightseeing activities in Kochi and nearby areas.

Great tour! We reached out to Vigesh and he arranged a walking tour for us in a very short span of time. We were impressed with his knowledge of the fort kochi area and his jubiliant personality shone while he explained to us the historical and cultural significance of the different areas in and around Fort Kochi. Apart from the tour, he helped us in providing information about other places in Kerala. All in all amazing experience. Go for it!

Wonderful Fort Kochi & Houseboat tours with Day In Cochin. Vijesh is responsive & informative.An honest warm guy.

I whatsapped Mr Vijesh & he responded warmly suggesting *Cochin Old town tour* Halfday Tour in Fortkochi and Mattancherry Jewish quarter. Duration. 4 Hours He met us with a car & driver at our hotel. It was a day òf wonders as he began explaning sights & attractions right from the pick up. He has a warm demeanour & we felt like we were meeting an old friend. He is absolutely a treasure trove of knowledge of Kerala, Fort Kochi, ancient Indian literaure. Sightseeing places. The history of Fort Kochi came alive with Vijesh's story telling. We had a nice time with little car trips interspered with walking. Vijesh ensured we saw all the gems in Fort Kochi. After 4 hours we were well informed & saw Fort Kochi in a new rich light with a wonderful multi dimensional perspective. And then we asked him to organize our Houseboat tour in Alleppey. He organized a punctual pick up ....Mr Prasad our driver was well mannered & pleasant. We were so thankful to Mr Vijesh for organizing a wonderfully relaxing houseboat tour. It was an interesting ride to see peoples' lives, flora & fauna & scenic paddy fields. We enjoyed mind soothing sounds of birds & rustling of trees & water bobbing. Managed a nap with the calming sounds of the backwaters in the one bedroom boat. The bed had clean sheets , pillows & a clean attached.. The boat captain & cook were real gentlemen, giving us insights on the people & scenes. The food was excellent....traditional home cooked food for guests! We had a wonderful time. And driver Prasad was waiting fir us at the jetty. A steady & safe driver. On the whole an extraordinary & great houseboat experience. Loved it all !🙏🙏🙏🤩🤩🤩

Walking around Fort Kochi and learning about its culture and history

Vijesh is an excellent guide. He planned a guided tour and was incredibly accommodating of the needs of our diverse group consisting of young children and elderly. He has a wealth of knowledge, anecdotes and stories and presents the same in a charming and easy way. I would recommend connecting with Vijesh for a walking tour or his vintage scooter tour - both are incredible.

An easy breezy Summer walk

The reasons tht I wld attribute to Mr Vijesh are that he is flexible, and understands the comfort of a tourist. We started on time and did the Forte Kochi walk, equipped wth a map and enuff info to move on.Interesting because he was articulate and I felt safe and well taken care of. Def recommendable!

What an intriguing experience!

I am a student of Cultural Studies and my final year project was based on cities and towns. That is when I booked a tour with Mr. Vijesh, Day In Cochin Tours. I must tell you that it has been an amazing experience indeed. We walked through Fort Kochi and I was quite intrigued by the architecture of the town. The myriad of cultures I found here was breathtaking. If it were upto me, I would chose to visit this place quite often. The lunch was sumptuous and we ended it with a relaxing boat ride at Kochi harbour. I would definitely recommend Mr.Vijesh when you are on a tour here.

Very informative tour with a lot of insights of Indian lifestyle

Vijesh is a very caring and cool guide. He helped us to buy souvenirs and took care of my stomache pain by getting me some good tea. In between sightseeing spots he provided us with interesting information on the Indian culture and politics. Highly recommended!

Best tour of our trip

We spent the day with our guide, Vijesh, visiting local sites as well as sampling food and masala tea (yum!) in Kochin. Vijesh, a local who seems to know half the people in town, was super informative, easy going, and speaks perfect English. I’d highly recommend!

Fabulous Day Tour in Cochin

What an end to our amazing holiday! Informative, fun and wonderful choice of restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for our guide and we managed to see and experience so much in a short time without it being exhausting and rushed. Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Walking Fort Kochi with Vijesh :)

We only had around a day in Kochi, and spent half of it walking Fort Kochi, as well as Jew town, the synagogue, and the Vallarpadam Church. Vijesh was very knowledgeable about the area and history of Kochi, and we had a really fun (but too short) time with him - he has a great sense of humor and excellent English! We also found out he restores Vespas and TukTuks (Autos in India) and does tours in them, too... if we visit again we would definitely join in. Thanks a lot!

Vigesh ’s tour was both informative as well as flexible. He was patient when we wanted to stop, look and shop and yet made sure we covered all the “must see’s” in Fort Cochin. We found him helpful but not pushy. Would definitely recommend him

Wonderful experience, highly recommended

We met Vijesh via recommendation from someone else. Wow did he deliver. Vijesh helped us arrange transportation for some other activities we had already planned, then provided transportation back, a tour of the Jewish Quarter, the Old Fort, local shopping, and a fabulous local lunch. I swear this guy knows everyone in Kochi - everywhere we went people were happy to see him. He was very knowledgeable, excellent English, great sense of humor, willing to adapt plans on the drop of a dime. He was happy to rearrange plans in whatever way worked best for us, and even gave us a few surprise activities (i.e. we helped raise the ancient Chinese fishing nets outside the fort). We had a fabulous time with him, and highly recommend to anyone!!

AMAZING TOUR!

Vijay is superb, very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour

Vijay showed us everything of note in fort Cochin. We really did feel a part of the community. His sense of fun made the tour even better. He even got us the best rate for money exchange. We saw churches, temples including a Janism one which was well worth a visit, the Chinese fishing nets which we hauled in and a great place for lunch overlooking the river. He even recommended a lovely restaurant for our evening meal. We had a fabulous day.

Great experience in Cochin

Our guide Vijesh was very knowledgable and made the walking tour very interesting. We particularly enjoyed the Chinese fishing nets, the local laundry and seeing several churches. His English is very good and was able to explain in great detail the history of the town.

We hebben Vijesh via de reisorganisatie toegewezen gekregen. Na meerdere gidsen inmiddels te hebben gehad kunnen we stellen dat Vijesh een van de betere is! Hij spreekt uitstekend Engels waardoor goed verstaanbaar ( is nog wel eens een punt in India).. verder weet hij ongelooflijk veel van zijn eigen stad af en is zeer geïnteresseerd in de mensen met wie hij op pad is. We hebben dan ook een zeer interessante ochtend in Cochin doorgebracht dankzij Vijesh!
