Great time at Munnar!

The tour of Munnar through Biju’s Tours was incredible! With hotel pickup, we had the freedom to do whatever we liked along the way while seeing beautiful views on the way to Munnar. The tea plantations were incredible and the Tea Museum was amazing. I highly recommend this tour of Munnar if you are staying in Kochi or Kerala!

Munnar day trip

We had a nice day traveling around Munnar and experiencing the beautiful vistas. Our driver, Abhi, was on time and great at pointing out spectacular view of the mountains.

Great trip, Mibin is a great guide, noticed couple of people who spotted a group of wild elephants, which then we where able to see. Extremally nice landscape and views.

A long but enjoyable day out.

A great day. There was a lot of driving but this was expected and is clearly noted. Kerala farm was interesting and so was the tea museum. It’s possibly expensive once you are in India and know the cost of things. It would be good to go into a working farm as a part of the trip. Overall would recommend.

Tour of Munnar tea fields and surrounding area

We travelled to Munnar from Kochi with our wonderful host Shajahan. He arrived on time and was fully accommodating of us throughout the trip with great view point stops and interesting facts along the way. The content of this trip was terrific and concluded with the interesting tour of the Lockhart Tea factory. We highly recommend this excursion and Shajahan as a host for any of your plans in the area

Amazing experience!

The trip to Munnar with Abhi was fantastic! He was a great driver and guide, explained many things to us, was very attentive to where we should stop and also offered to take photos. We were able to decide how long we wanted to stay at each place. We had a great time, with wonderful views and very interesting insights about Ayurveda, spices, tea etc.

Great one day trip to Munnar

Our driver and guide Mibin picked us up very early in the morning at our hostel in Fort Kochi. On the way to Munnar he explained a lot of things we passed and offered to stop to take pictures or do some activities. Regarding the meals he was very flexible and offered to have breakfast and lunch whenever we were hungry. The area of Munnar is too big, far and beautiful for one day but if you don’t have more time I highly recommend this tour! The spice garden was very interesting and the tea plantations are just stunning. Mibin knows a lot and is happy to explain everything! He even offered to take pictures of us. We really enjoyed the tour with him.

The best of Munnar in one day!

This was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had! Munnar is absolutely gorgeous and this was the best way to see it in a private guided tour. I traveled to Kochi alone was concerned about seeing Munnar on my own so I decided to take this tour. Abhi, my tour guide, was more than just a tour guide. He was an amazing photographer as well and I have so many pictures from my solo trip to look back on and fondly remember the amazing time I had! Abhi was very prompt to pick me up in the morning and his driving was so smooth and professional. This was something I was very concerned about because of the winding roads between the mountains, but I felt completely safe the whole time. And he was super respectful and also patient as I wanted to feed all the stray dogs where we stopped. We started our journey (just me and Abhi) seeing waterfalls and breathtaking lookout points, went to a traditional Kerala spice farm where we saw how spices are grown and walked through the forest of trees with a peaceful babbling brook, after lunch we went through the awe-inspiring hills to a tea plantation and museum, saw elephants (I didn’t ride on one but you can), a cute family of monkeys, drank coconut water on the side of the road, and all along the way and back down, Abhi shared his tips and information about the area while we stopped and took a ton of photos and videos. It was absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend this expedition enough! If you’ve ever wanted to see the best of Munnar and are short on time, this one full-day tour is what you need!

Unforgettable Layover Tour in Munnar with Viator

Had an amazing one-day layover in Cochin. Despite the long journey, it was an unforgettable experience, largely due to my driver, Sijo. Even he wasn’t a tour guide but made up for it with his exceptional driving, patience, kindness, and politeness, ensuring my safety and comfort throughout. For those with limited time wanting to explore the beauty of Munnar, I highly recommend it. Sijo is a gem who will make your trip memorable!

Day Trip to Munnar from Kochi

Biju tours assigned Abhi as my driver. For a 4-5 hour each way drive from Kochi to Munnar, Abhi is a very nice, considerate and flexible driver. He plays music to elevate the mood. He knows what to point out. If there's something you don't like, he will give you other nearby options. For example the tea museum didn't interest me at all, but the tea garden/plantation did. The rose garden, elephant park, and zip line are other options if there's time for it. The spice farm people were nice and knowledgeable, but it was a little underwhelming if you're someone who is familiar with herbs, spices and holistic alternative treatments and supplements. Not much to see visually. It is informative and you can buy aromatherapy oils and supplements. I had terrible motion sickness from the bad traffic, and Abhi let me lie in the back with small pillows. He also took another route back so that I wouldn't have to deal with it longer than necessary. He really tries to make sure you're comfortable. Breakfast/Lunch and Entrance fees are NOT included.

Fantastic tour

Abhi was a fantastic driver and guide. He was very sweet, looked after my cousin and I, and taught us a lot about the Munnar region.

Great Guide (Abie) and nice car, enjoyed the sight seeing, There was no pressure to finish the tour early. The driver (who wants to be a Malayalam film star BTW) clicked some great photos and videos too! Thoroughly professional and enjoyable!

The tour takes you to amazing places. Munnar is really beautiful! If you're short on time, this is a great way to experience this beautiful place in one day! Abhi was a great driver and guide - stopped at places with great views, also not so known once, adapted to my wishes and even took photos! I'd definitely recommend this :)

A Wonderful Day

My family and I had a wonderful time on this tour. We had an excellent driver and we were very comfortable the whole drive. Because there were frequent stops to places such as the tea museum, waterfalls and the Ayurvedic spice garden, it made the drive there and back feel very short. The scenic views are out of this world. Highly recommend!

Wonderful day trip

We had a wonderful trip to munnar. Our guide was knowledgeable and was wonderful to spend the day with. The views are amazing and there are even some monkeys on the way up the mountain!

It was very exciting to be brought to so many sights en route to our stay in Munnar. The driver was very responsive to our needs.

Unique cultural and natural experience

We had an amazing trip from Kochi to Munnar. It was a long trip with many different stops like a really good breakfast place with delicious dosa, kerala farm with many local trees and herbs, chocolate factory, tea factory and museum, waterfalls, plantations… Our driver, Abbie was so friendly and calm person. He is a great driver as well. On the way back, it was raining heavily and dark. The roads were tricky but he drove so smoothly. We felt safe all the time and had an unforgettable experience.

Best choice, and met me tell you why

My wife and I came to India a few days ago and really wanted to explore and experience new things. Although I was suspicious at first at the low price, compared to other nearly identical tours, I was quickly proven that my suspicion was unfounded. Abbis was the best guide we could ever hope for, and I will tell you why. Not only did he take us through the itinerary, but he was also offering us whatever was along the way, and never made it felt forced or because he wanted tip or anything. He was like "Ah, looks like there are wild elephants here. Want to see?" and even encouraged me to try and ride one (not a wild one, of course, but a trained one at an attraction). Another thing I loved about Abbis, was that he was very perceptive about us being tired as we have had trouble sleeping last night. He kept things calm and knew when we just needed some quiet time and rest, as well as when we had regained energy and was once again ready for socializing. Last but not least, I want to both commend Abbis for being such a great driver (and I'll tell you why this is important), but also offer some relief to nervous visitors who are not used to how people drive in India. It's chaotic and at night it can even be terrifying at times. For us, it was pitch black on the way back, rain and thunder. Meeting cars with blasting lights made it close to impossible to see where you're going. Despite this Abbis has no issue navigation these otherwise dangerous conditions (especially on a mountain road), he was careful and precise. Slowed down when visibility was bad and only made decisions when it was safe. Not all drivers are this skilled and it can be dangerous to pick the wrong driver in mountain areas like these. Abbis, however, was the right driver and I hope I get the chance to be a guest in his car sometime again. If I could give 6 stars. I would.

Excellent day trip to Munnar

Everything was excellent! Munnar was a welcome change after staying in Kochi for a few days. The mountains and waterfalls were beautiful. Abhi was an excellent guide. I wouldn't have been able to see everything we saw in a single day on my own. Lunch was also excellent.
