It was such a great day and conclusion to my journey in India. The tour managers were so professional. It is worth the money and even more. Bonus points: we encountered an unusually big and well bred Indian elephant on the road, a water snake, and met interesting people in the group, including a nice Indian family that chose the same tour agency that I already met in the hotel the previous day and were gladly surprised we were in the same boat.. This travel website is Excelent. We had 2 boats day trips, very well organised with taxi pick up, boat trip spectacular chilled beautiful. Lunch was very enjoyable Excelent chef. Drinks on way & cold bottle of water provided Tea coffee biscuits after and toilet very clean I will use again. Taxi man gave great information for further trips in India. Vey nice and helpful 😃👌

Amazing backwater sunset trip

Our host Wilson Stanley organised for us an amazing boat ride in an eco friendly environment. The ride was in a traditional non electric wooden boat through the small channels on backwater. The whole experience was unique and relaxing lasting approximately 2.5 hours. We enjoyed the sunset, how to make rope making from coconut fibbers and coconut leaves roofing. All organised by Wilson. This is definitely something you must do when you visit Cochin.

Most amazing tour ever, would recomend it to everyone

This tour was absolutely amazing! From the beginning to the end! We nerver had such a great tour & we would defenately recommend it to everybody. It was peaceful and just wonderful and our Driver Ubaid was such a nice person, he is a really warmhearted person & we will miss him. Thank you so much for this amazing day.

Kerala Backwater

Great tour including pick up and drop off, punt, short walk, lunch and a canoe down the smaller canals. Price was incredible and excellent value for money. Well done to all concerned.

Authentic backwater small group tour.

This is an authentic backwater river boat trip. We really liked the small covered boat that was punted along the river (no motor) which made it an incredibly peaceful experience and gets you close up to the wildlife . You get to see the locals fishing , reed gathering and mussel gathering all in a beautiful environment . The authentic Indian lunch at a local home was great plus another smaller boat trip on a smaller canal and local rope making and weaving demonstrations . Really good value.

Loved the tour and highly recommend

The whole experience was superb. The guide as well as the locals who helped and the 4 other participants of the tour were lovely and created a positive vibe. My personal highlight was to see a snake in the jungle once we went with the open roof boat into the more narrow canal. Second highlight for me was the traditional lunch the locals served us on a banana leave.

Relaxing experience

It was amazing very peaceful experience. Best is if getting a boat without motor, as cruising in that case is really pure meditation. Lunch was also very tasteful. Only thing I did not like is that we were too many on one boat.

One Day in the backwaters

Very nice and good driver, polite and quiet. He speaks english. We had a very nice experience and we recommend. We also had méditation music during the trip.

Wilson tours for private transport and Backwater experience

We would highly recommend Wilson Tours for a wonderful punting backwater day trip with transfer to and from Fort Kochi. A great day out, fabulous views of the Backwaters without the crowds or engines. A wonderful lunch included. Stanley Wilson also organised Firoz, a private driver for us from Kochi to Munnar return and then on to Trivandrum. Firoz was fabulous who took great care of us and nothing was too much trouble. Great people and well organised

I have used Wilson tours for two trips, the backwaters boat trip and the trip to Munnar. Both trips were well organised and ran smoothly. I really enjoyed the relaxed pace of the boat trip and the beautiful mountain views in Munnar. I would recommend Wilson Tours to anyone. Special mention to our driver Sajahan who went that extra mile to make our trip memorable.

Eco boat trip

Fabulous trip on a nonmotorised eco boat so peaceful and the scenery was stunning. Informative guide lots of birds and butterflies only saw one other tour boat. Village family provided vegetarian meal on banana leaves but Mr Wilson had kindly organised for my daughter to have an omelette as she has many allergies. This gesture was typical of the Indian people throughout our 4 week stay in India. At the end of the meal my daughter was presented with a garland of flowers for her head and a birthday cake to share with the other guests such kindness We were shown how rope is spun from the coconut husks and how the large leaves are woven to make the coverings for the roofs. Great day out bus trip was about an hour each way and well worth it Would highly recommend Mr Wilson's tours

A great trip with amazing views

We missed out on a tour and Stanley sorted this tour out last minute for us, which we would highly recommend his service for. Regarding the tour itself it was brilliant. So relaxing on the boat. Amazing views, Lovely food in the village house. Lots of info given. Thank you for a lovely day

The full day backwaters...

The full day backwaters tour from Kochi which was somewhat disappointing. The boat rides were nice but we got zero information on the area, people, history etc. Just a joy ride in silence. The lunch was very good and we got a brief demonstration of how the locals use palms to build roofs. Overall it wasn’t worth the money.

Great day on Kochi’s backwater lakes

The boat trips were nice and very chill. It was a great experience to see this beautiful nature. In general, this is a very chill activity as it is 95% sitting and eating. The lunch was very delicious.

The muted backwaters tour….not a tour but a silent boat ride

The good- Overall experience of seeing the backwaters was good. Our driver Justin was just excellent. From picking us up at the cruise terminal he explained everything there was to see along the route. The backwaters was good as it is full Of nature and natural habitation. The home cooked food was very good and tasty. The Bad - the boat host could do so much more to make it an excursion. He simply sat like a king at the back of the boat and spoke to the two rowers in local dialect. He basically ignored the passengers who just became bored of the whole experience. On an excursion there need to be some sort of explanations of what you are seeing else it’s like paddling your own canoe. lol

Great day trip on a boat

Everything about this tour was amazing! Stanley is kind and helpful and he organised the pick-up and drop off so that I didn't have to worry about anything. lunch was super good and all the experience on the boat was great,especially because this boat have no engine meaning noise and pollution free. Extremely recommended.

Best tour ever

Fabulous and most affordable tour package, Mr Stanley in his office welcomed us with such a positive vibe and explained every tour possible in kochi and nearby, we booked two tour with them, the one backwater village tour, it was amazing, the tour guide was so kind in showing every beautiful place and then we had a Keralian style vegetarian banana leaf thali which was included on the backwater tour. Next day we did sight seeing with Mr Shahjahan, the driver and guide who showed us every possible beautiful places for the whole day. Mr Shahjahan was very cooperative and kind natured, it was very comfortable to ride with him. Totally recommended this tour for everyone. We enjoyed entirely and I think this was the one of the greatest tour we had ever in India. Mr Stanley and Mr Shahjahan were utmost in welcoming their guests.

Backwater Boating and Trip to Munnar

Over two days we took both a trip to Munnar and to do backwater boating. For both we were driven by Shajahan and we had an amazing time! He was very accommodating and was willing to stop wherever we wanted. Couldn’t recommend enough.

I visited the site directly. Because it was the off-season and I was alone, I couldn't go on the day I wanted, but I was able to go on the last day of the trip before catching a late-night flight. After the tour, they arranged a car for me to go from Fort Kochi to the airport for 1,700 rupees.

This tour of the backwaters of Cochin was very beautiful. Gliding silently through the water with two men who guided the boat with long poles... A break with locals who cooked mussels and then burned the shells into lime for medicine. A lunch on a banana leaf, and an explanation and demonstration of how to make ropes from coconut fibers. Last but not least, how to escape from the palm leaf mats! A successful and educational day!

VERY NICE DAY

A wonderful, busy day! The calm and zenitude of the 2-hour tour on the backwaters in an atypical eco boat... very pleasant! In small committee. The lunch was very nice and the last boat ride in the narrow backwaters was unique! Lots of birds to observe! Even a small (long) water snake!!!!! Small downside: the plastic bottles which spoil the view here and there.. Stanley is extremely kind and benevolent! We recommend the tour for those who like to enjoy tourist attractions but off the beaten track!

Unforgettable experience

A beautiful experience… super organised! The staff, the guide and all the people we met in the villages were really sweet. You learn many things about coconut processing and eat really well in Kerala Style.

Excellent day

Excellent day in the backwaters, relaxing, calm and magnificent landscapes Very convenient hotel pick-up and drop-off in Cochin. The walk is very well organized, punctuated by stops allowing you to understand life in the backwaters. The meal is good in a pleasant place. In short, we had a great day, thank you to the whole team and we recommend this visit!

Very nice and interesting

Very well organized. Very interesting to see the local activities. The very friendly guide and the boat ride, in addition to being very beautiful, also help to give you an idea of what it is like to live there. Maybe I would have made it a little shorter. After the meal, return to Kochin.

A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE IN MUNNAR

Excellent tourist program, the whole team was extraordinary, STANLEY WILSON for the organization, the choice of his team, UBAID wonderful guide, always in a very good mood, available, helpful RENJITH our guide with whom we discovered the magnificent tea fields of MUNNAR. The accommodation and meals are absolutely impeccable: delicious food and comfortable room, in addition to a superb view of the mountain and the river at the foot of the house. A very beautiful place that we absolutely recommend. A big thank you to the whole team: 5 ******!!!!! We'll be back

Backwater and Munnar

We did both the backwater and two nights in Munnar, we stayed at Green Magic, excellent and welcoming staff, in Munnar we also did trekking with an excellent guide Ramesh and last but not least, our guide accompanied us for the entire trip driver Shajan, a truly good person who is very attentive to the needs of the guests he accompanies in every way.
