Great trip if you only have one day to go visit Munnar

Really enjoyed this day trip with our driver Mithun. If you only have one day, and really want to experience Munnar, I think this is a great option. We did loads of things during this day and stopped at a great location for breakfast. Mithun was happy to answer our questions and stop for photos at any point ☺️

One of the best trips I ever had, was so worth the money! the car was comfortable, my travel guide/driver Mithun was amazing, probably the best part of my trip as he went beyond extra to help me take amazing videos and photos and has patience with me even though I had a lot of requests. I got beautiful videos walking inside the tea plantation thanks to him, I got to enjoy Munnar fully! was so beautiful, like a paradise in heaven on earth, endless greenery, felt like I was in Swiss in India! Definitely a healing journey if you are into nature and peaceful trips cuz I'm a nature lover! you can tell the guide where you want to go, what you want to do, what you need to buy and he arranged everything for me and worked overtime even (thank you again), left hotel around 7am and reached aftee 10pm, there were stops along the way to Munnar so didn't feel tired! I will definitely visit Munnar again with a hotel stay! highly recommended!!

Long but amazing day in Munnar

Amazing trip - a lot of driving for one day but we had the energy and thought it was completely worth it. The Munnar scenery is stunning, especially once you’re all the way there, and our driver (shoutout Mithun!) did a wonderful job breaking up the trip and showing us a lot of great sites. Mithun really went above & beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable and comfortable trip, restocking our waters in the car, pulling over for photos, navigating some hair-raising traffic throughout the morning / afternoon / evening, etc. Also, if you have the option to do Gap Road on the way back, do it! Stunning views.

Breath taking & fantastic guide!

Wow! Munnar is absolutely stunning!!! Breathtaking views! We were so lucky to have George as our driver/guide he was amazing! He went above and beyond to show the most amazing spots in Munnar in and away from the busy tourist areas. He is truly a credit to this tour! We are so grateful to him! We watched the sun rise & set! explored waterfalls, tea fields, echo point, chocolate making, spice tours and more.

Great tour with just me and my driver. It was 3 hrs to Munnar but we saw spice plantations, tea fields, beautiful scenes. Full day of touring.

Excellent & experienced tour guide around amazing Kerala

An excellent day trip to book when yore short on time and craving for some adventure time with a experienced tour guide in Kerala!

Excellent guide

Our driver and guide was Mithun - he was absolutely brilliant. He totally went above and beyond and was great at stopping for photo opportunities or at points of interest. We were running a bit behind so it was a long day but he did an excellent job of driving super carefully on the challenging hill roads. He provided us with bottled water and there were chances to stop for breakfast and lunch. We could’ve stopped for dinner but skipped it due to time constraints. This was my favourite activity of the whole trip. Landscape and scenery is unreal.

Great experience

Suupeer helpful! Mr Eby drove us to so many different places and he was extremely willing to stop along the road for pictures. He didn’t mind waiting for us whilst visiting the different museums and places and he accommodated all of our needs. We also added a jeep safari to this trip for extra charge in order to see the wild elephants and the tribe village, such a unique experience but be prepared, Munnar is quite far from Cochin.

Trip to Munnar

We started the trip at 6:30 am with a pickup at the hotel. The guide/driver was extremely nice and friendly. Regarding the itinerary was not completely followed, no boat trip or paper making factory but overall was a good experience. We didn’t know that for just 5-6000 INR you can hire a driver for the whole day, to bring you from one place to the other. It would have been similar to what we had but less than half price.

Excellent Driver Mithun

I started my tour with low expectations, but I found the best hospitality and service attitudes in India, in particular with this tour company which is extremely responsive and my driver Mithun. Mithun goes above and beyond for guests, and was very accommodating to my requests for photo stops and even places outside of those stated in the itinerary. It felt like he genuinely cared for the welfare and satisfaction of tourists, such as ensuring they do not overpay local vendors. He also encouraged me to do zipline which was not in my itinerary, when he could have just skipped places and be totally laidback about my experience. He is knowledgeable about the history and background of Munnar tea plantations too. I believe that the perfect and hundreds of ratings for this tour company speaks for itself. Its pricing is also the best. A private tour cost the same or even lower than a group tour offered elsewhere. If you do book a tour with this tour company which is highly encouraged, do tip generously if you could.

Best experience of my 14 day trip to Kerala

This was my best experience during my two weeks in Kerala. It was a long trip but worth every minute for all the wonderful views and activities along the way — zip lining, elephant riding, visit to spice farm and Ayurveda consultation, visit to tea plantation, and multiple waterfalls. My guide, Mithun Albin was amazing — safe and careful driver, stopped whenever I asked to allow me to take photos, selected a restaurant for a delicious lunch, and was extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area and provided so much interesting information. He was so accommodating and friendly. He even found me some wild elephants in the valley to photograph. I highly recommend if you decide to take this trip, you recommend him as your guide.

Great day trip with a good selection of sights and cuisine

Had a great day trip to the tea plantages at Munnar incl. visit of a Tea Factory and some other famous spots e.g. Munnar Rose Garden and the reservoir.

Lovely day trip

Very enjoyable short trip on Kerala back waters. Covered raft / canoe type boat made from traditional & natural materials with comfortable chair seating; manually punted, so no engine noise or pollution. Trip ends with simple home cooked and veru tasty thali style meal. One of the highlights of my trip.

Great day trip to Munnar with lots of different sites

Really easy commas and pickup. We stopped at waterfalls, Ayurvedic spice gardens, took an elephant ride, saw the sights of the tea plantation and rose garden in Munnar as well as the dam. Also good stop offs for tea breaks as well as lunch. I’d recommended if you are short on time in Kerala and want to maximise what you see. All in the day was 12 hours from pick up to drop off at my hotel.

Great guide/driver and itinerary

I had a really great day. Mithun was very open and flexible, took me to see plenty of interesting sites on the way and had great local knowledge.

Good Value for everything

The trip was fine for what it was. We really had more of a driver - not a tour guide. He didn’t join us or give us any information on activities- he just drove us. The selection of activities was fine. We made an unscheduled stop at an elephant ride shop, which was OK, but not the best. Also, our driver skipped over the Tea Museum stop.

Exceeded the limits of fun

Edwin was wonderful! He pushed me out of my comfort zone to really enjoy Munnar to its fullest. Just super glad the weather worked out and I got to see so many things! 10/10 experience.

Beautiful hill station

Lovely hill station to stay for couple of days. Beautiful scenery and fresh nature . Tea gari , hills , mounti view absolutely mesmerizing.

Good value for money.

Good value for money. Driver on time, very pleasant and very flexible. Waiting time for tour of tea factory to long, so happy to take us to tea museum instead, which was really interesting and a lot less crowded. Basically happy to do whatever you want.

Perfect and a MUST day trip

From the time I biked the tour, the communication from this company was great. Our guide/driver Midhun was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He picked us up on time from the hotel, stopped at all scenic spots and good places to eat. The visit to Spice garden was a bonus. The tea plantation area is breathtaking. Taking to the company’s office on the way and receiving goodies was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this day tour without any hesitation.

Amazing day out

Attention to detail at every stage. We booked the full package including entry tickets and breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea. The help we received from the original planning of our trip to the actual day itself was outstanding. Our driver, Anthony Rikesh, was on time and both courteous and informative all day. He was a mine of information on local fauna and flora and very attentive on all our needs throughout the day. We highly recommend this company.

Great Tour!

We had a great day with Ebby! I contacted Munnar Info following reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. I was looking for a day trip to Munnar from Cochin the following day. The team responded very quickly to my emails and messages and were very accommodating to my request of pick up from hotel and the time that suited. We had a lovely trip up to Munnar, car was spacious and clean and comfortable with air con. We went to some great spots and it was at our leisure we didn’t feel rushed at all. Ebby let us do our own thing in our own time. Great company, very efficient and would highly recommend Ebby as a driver.

Definitely worth seeing in spring

Unfortunately, I traveled at the wrong time of year and so missed out on the big highlights. For example, some of the waterfalls had no water. So the price was not even remotely justified. But since the guide and the taxi driver were very friendly and really impressed me with the nature and landscape, I am still giving it 3 stars/points.

Amazing time ! Amazing driver !

Cette expérience était exactement ce que nous attendions . Notre guide Harish était l’homme de la situation , adorable personne . Nous avons pu rajouter top station à notre trip . Nous vous conseillons de dormir sur place à munnar si cela est possible ( avec supplément ) car la route de retour est longue . Évitez l’hôtel blanket très cher et très décevant . Choisissez peut être plutôt le frangant nature . Jolie vue là bas. La visite des plantations est un must , nous nous sommes arrêtés plusieurs fois pour boire le thé avec des locaux . Les paysages sont admirables et les temps frais permet une pause kim de la chaleur des villes / Vivement conseillé ! Ps: nous avions demandé une voiture plus grosse et confortable . Avec supplément ils ont su répondre à notre demande . Jardin des épices . À faire absolument
