Awesome tour of the Old Town of Kochi

We did the Old Town Kochi tour with Biju. He showed his home town to us and I saw it through his eyes! I learned a lot about the place and the rich culture. It was awesome and I love it! Thank you, Biju!

A wonderful comprehensive tour of a gorgeous city

We hugely enjoyed this incredibly comprehensive tour of Kochi! Our guide was incredibly lovely and knowledgable, and the tuk tuk was really fun and comfortable! The whole thing is great value, too - and includes entry to all the attractions listed. We even got to taste some chai and browse markets. Would recommend early on in your visit as it is a great introduction and helps you get your bearings!

Great way to see Kochi

Very nice trip and we have seen numerous of the sites in Kochi. The tuktuk driver Sudhi is ver knowledgable and even gave us tips for good spots to get some drinks and preferred restaurants. All in all a graet trip

A great introduction to Kochi

We had great communication from Biju before the tour began. Use whatsapp if you have it. Our flight was delayed and he updated our tour time to accommodate the delay. The 7 of us were in three tuk-tuks or "Indian Ferrari" as they like to call them. We went as a group and the tour was a great introduction to Kochi. There are some optional shopping stops (fruits, spices, handcrafts) with no pressure to buy anything. We had enough time to enjoy the museum as well. We all agreed that we would recommend all 3 of our drivers: Asad, Freddy, and Sudheer. They all added commentary and gave us good tips on Kochi.

True taste of local life

Meeting biju! Such a nice human. Friendly, loves his city and sharing information about its history and culture. I really enjoyed talking to him He is also very considerate, unfortunately I had hurt my knee so struggled walking but he accommodated that and would ask if I wanted to stop and happy to add/remove places, I.e he was happy for me to get some shopping! Highly recommended

Good fun and interesting tour

Great way to see the town

Everything was great. Is a very good way to see the town. My guide Asad was lovely and I highly recommend. Very punctual, nice and knowledgeable. Just mind the hot weather when you pick your slot

A good way to really see the local area

Our driver was wonderful! He was so accommodating to our requests. He stopped at a spa so we could make massage appointments for the next day. We even were able to see a wedding at a church. We didn't spend any time in the downtown are, but in the local area. The next day we used him again and he even picked up some items we had purchased the day before while we had our massage. Fun two days.

Old Cochin up close

We had a fantastic time seeing the authentic old parts of Cochin with our tuk-tuk driver, Azad. He did a great job - knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. We highly recommend the tour and Azad!

Superb tuktuk ride

The best part of our tour was Thouseef, our tuktuk tour guide. He guided us around Fort Kochi and tell us all about the history of the place. He's very sweet to us even when it's scorching hot out. Big thanks to Thouseef for making our trip perfect!

Great experience

Was a fun way to see the city and high lights of Kochi. Sudheer was a great guide and took us into places you could never see just walking around on your own. Worth doing and enjoyable!

Take this tuk tuk tour! Ask for Freddy 9011!

This was probably the best tour we had in our 2 weeks in India. “Freddy” in Tuk tuk number 9011 had several obstacles to deal with as it was Palm Sunday and that limited our choices of places to visit. Still he took us to many places and sights, faces advice on places to eat, get massages, and had a great informative way of delivering information. His command of the English language was super and his main concern was pleasing us rather than to just work on his itinerary. Pickup from the hotel was spot on time as well.

Excellent trip to Munnar thekkady and allepy . Good cab service provided by kochi taxi 24x7. Great trip includes elephant junction, photo point sight seeing , house boat

A great afternoon trip

Shaji and Kumar arrived early for our tour and were excellent hosts. We spent a full afternoon touring Fort Kochi, seeing all the scheduled stops, with just the right mix of informative facts and a few minutes free to wander around on our own. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and we would highly recommend.

Exploring Fort Kochi with Thouseef

Thouseef was amazing! He was hospitable, patient, was a careful driver and accommodated a personal request for tender coconut water. Great host and guide! We enjoyed our afternoon exploring Fort Kochi with him. Highly recommend! 🙂

Touring Fort Kochi with Biju

The tour was excelent. Biju and his local knowlege was great. It was an excelent way to get to know the Fort Kochi area in one compact tour.

Sudhi was excellent!!

Sudhi was very friendly and did a great job showing me around. He knew all the hidden spots without tourists, which was really nice and made me feel like a local (in addition to the main attractions). One of the stops was at a perfume shop, and I normally don’t buy things while I’m on a tour, but Sudhi took me there both for the air conditioning and also because it was the best place in Kochi for custom fragrances. The staff there was excellent and the prices were very good. I did my tour in the afternoon, but I’d recommend going in the morning as Sudhi said that the temples are more active then.

Very memorable experience

It truely was the best day I had in Chochin. My guide Freddy picked me up at the hotel and showed me so many nice places. He answered all of my questions about culture, religion etc and gave lots of information about history of Fort Kochi. (But it was never boring.) We did laugh a lot. He also did give me some time on my own to stroll around some shops. I highly recommend this tour! It was a memorable experience to get things shown by a local, very authentic. Thanks to Freddy🤗🙏👋

We had a very good tour of Kochi by tuk tuk. Freddy took us around all the main sites and was very knowledgeable in explaining each site and the history. Would definitely recommend!

Great tour of Fort Kochi

We had a short time to see Fort Kochi and this tour was a perfect way to do it. Shaji was an excellent tour guide - extremely knowledgeable about the area, he fit so much into a short time but at no point did we feel rushed…! He listened to what we were most interested in and tailored accordingly. Fully recommend.

A must for new visitors to Kochi!

My wife and I had an amazing morning exploring Kochi with Biju as our guide. Biju was kind, extremely knowledgeable, and accommodating. He adapted the tour to our exact wishes and showed us many sites that only a local would know about. We came away from the tour with a deeper understanding and appreciation of Kochi's rich history.

Didn’t really get to see much. Most Religious sites were closed. Giude spoke little English. Was a not time well spent

There was nothing memorable. Most religions placed were closed. The spice market was just an indoor store with some masala spices ( not worth it). Tour guide spoke very little English but did the best he could. We had a better time with just getting a tuk tuk locally and have him take us places as we did the night before. Not worth booking a tour like this

Fabulous tour with a packed itinerary and delightful guide.

Fabulous afternoon with Shaji from Biju’s Tours, seeing the sights of Cochin in open air comfort. Visited the Fort Cochin area, Mattancherry, Santa Cruz Basilica, the Chinese Fishing Nets, Spice Markets and the list goes on. Shaji was delightful, very knowledgeable and friendly and the whole afternoon was great fun. Highly recommended for an afternoon to really understand the history and culture this beautiful region has on offer.

Memory making

We have just finished the perfect morning tour of old Cochin with our guide and driver Thouseef, he was excellent. We visited Cochin for a week 20 years ago and wanted to see new places, as well as making one or two revisits. He achieved all of that for us and much more. We even had the pleasure of meeting his delightful family and seeing a glimpse of non tourist Cochin. What a lovely guy, perfect trip, old memories refreshed and new memories made. Excellent way to see Kochi

Great trip to interesting places with Azad today, very knowledgeable on everything we saw. Also very patient as we looked at things we passed and waited while we shopped. Always considerate and checked whether we wanted to go to places - we didn't want to go into the meat market. Recommended.

Sightseeing around Kochi

Went on a 3 hour tour around the city and visited place tourist don't usually see on holidays. His knowledge about his city was outstanding. Ajeesh was our guide for the day he was very friendly, professional and polite. Thanks for the experience Ajeesh

Great way to get around!

Sudhi was a great guide. He took us all around Fort Cochi and explained what we were seeing. He’s showed up on time and was kind. In fact he was so good we hired him the folllowing day!

Shahji was my driver. He arrived promptly on time and was very helpful and knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and I have some leg issue due to which I couldn’t walk much but he was very supportive and took the tuk tuk closest to the point of interest.

Fun and Informative Tour

Asad was a great guide and did an excellent job showing us the city in a friendly and informative manner! He even showed us some interesting spots like the ironing at the dhoby khana and got us involved.

We had a great tour with...

We had a great tour with our tour guide Azad, who is courteous and joy to be with. This day there was a festival and Azad took us to the spots to see rituals with elephants, which was definitely a highlight of the day. All in all this was quite an educational tour for us and we were happy to see some hidden places we wouldn't be able to on our own

Kochi tour

We had a great time with our driver Asad and my mother and aunty rode with Sudhi. They arrived early to our hotel and navigated Kochi roads like experts. We felt very safe with them and they were friendly and knowledgeable. Asad was very patient with us and let us stop by a perfume shop and do some extra shopping that was not included on the itinerary. There is not a lot to see in Kochi but I think this tour gives you a good idea of what there is and how the people of Kerala still live.

Enjoyable and required tour for all visitors to the area.

This tour was one of the best I have had in India and far exceeded my expectations. Asad is an amazing and very intuitive guide. He took me to many culturally enriching places that I would not have known about visit on my own. He also took me to the top sites but with an added touch that made the trip memorable. This is a vibrant and vivid tour of the area that should not be missed. If you have a chance book this tour with Asad you will not be disappointed.

Great tour with Asad

Very good tour, our guide Asad took great care and time to show us local experiences, the highlight was watching the fishermen bring in their morning catch on a small beach.

Best way to experience Cochin…..

The streets of Cochin appear crazy from the backseat of the TukTuk and many people said they wouldn’t do it because they felt unsafe…we never did with Azad. He spoke very good English and was such a kind patient man. One stop on the road to be aware of is the Indian Heritage shop. May be a good place to shop, maybe not. We will let you know if the rug we purchased shows up but it was fun to negotiate. Watch your receipt before you sign for “mistakes” but short of that it was a great day!
