Not worth the drive

For the distance it took to get to the mountains , I prefer to spend the time at the coast. I found it took too long to get from Kochi and Allepey to the Mountains, too many people and traffic.

Best Holiday Package for Kerala

Starting from an amazing driver(Lallan) to amazing staff(Kannan). The feedback is very positive. We booked a 3 night package to Munnar and Thekkady. We visited many places including the spice garden, local spice markets, tea and coffee plantation areas. The sunrise is worth a shot only if you are an early bird. We had done activities such as zipiline, elephant riding, jeep safari and visiting vaious waterfalls and a dam. We also enjoyed the traditional Kathakalli dance and Kalaripattu marshal art shows.

Very nice place to spend time with family. Enjoyed the Jeep safari and sight seeing. Food was very good.

Very good arrangements by Iris Holidays. The package include transport from Kochi and stays in Munnar. 4 days and 3 night package. Pleasant saty at Fog resort and spa.

We have booked 2 nights & 3 days trip to Munnar through Iris holidays. Overall experience was very good; entire process of booking was very smooth. Every information asked was provided in details, trip was curated as per our requirement & budget. Quality of the car provided is also very good. Cherry on the cake was “ driver” who was with us for all 3 days. Mr. Babu Antony is very friendly , professional, punctual & experienced driver. He loves to talk & we enjoyed chatting with him. He has good knowledge of places & restaurants around the places & guided us as per our need. Overall we had a great experience & enjoyed our holidays. Would highly recommend Iris holidays!!

Perfect First Visit to Kerala

The tour was brilliant. Our driver Afsal was FANTASTIC! He was so knowledgeable and kind. I don't think I'd ever want to do a Kerala tour without him in the future. Iris holidays staff were very responsive, transparent and easy to communicate with throughout the planning process. I will definitely use them again. 10/10 experience personally.

Know what you want to see in Munnar

We were looking for a way to visit Munnar from Fort Cochin so booked this trip. Communication before the trip with the travel agent was good. He was able to arrange for our driver to take us onto Alleppey, for a reasonable additional cost, at the end of the tour. Antony was our driver. We felt very safe with his driving, his English was good and he was a courteous guide. He took us to great restaurants to eat. The hotel that was provided was the Lake n Hills. A beautiful hotel in the hills. There was nothing close by but we only didn’t need to go anywhere the food was good so we ate at hotel. I would say that this trip was really a two day trip with a private driver and two days hotel. The itinerary was not clear, but what did become clear was that the driver would take you anywhere you wanted, such as elephant sanctuary, cultural show, Ayurvedic hospital. He was very accommodating. We did not make use of this we just took did what was on offer. The best part of the trip was the national park which was just stunning. We were taken to a tea factory which was ok, but I would have liked to have done a tea plantation tour. Overall I would say definitely do this tour but do some research and have some places in mind that you would like to see in and around Munnar.

We expected Munnar to be cool & pleasant but even in the end of December it was hot in the day & pleasant in the night.

Good experience

My trip to Kerala was good. I visited Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey and Kochi. 1. Hotel in Munnar was Ok (Eastend) toilets were not that clean. 2. Hotel in Thekkady was best (Merry Weather) i would recommend this hotel for all travellers. 3. Hotel in Alleppey was worst (Haveli Backwater resort) bad customer service, bad toilets, dirty towels were given to us, breakfast tables were dirty. Even the reception guys were least bothered when we gave them feedback. Overall bad experience about this hotel. 4. Hotel in Kochi was ok (Broad bean) it was decent hotel. The Driver ( BABU ANTHONY) for the trip was good, was able to take us safely. He knew his job well. He showed us all the possible places. He also showed us places which were not on our list. He was able to communicate well in Hindi and we did not have any issues in understanding him. We would like to give him 5star rating. We just felt that travelling was little more but overall a decent trip. Feedback for IRIS- please check on the hotels carefully before finalizing them.

Kerala Private Tour

Iris Holidays planned our Kerala trip perfectly. They organised everything from accommodation to transport to activities. Overall the tour had a good blend of experiences. Our driver, Monesh, was great. Highly recommend him and visiting Munnar and Kerala !

Fantastic time in beautiful Kerala

We had a fantastic time seeing Kerala with the guidance of our wonderful driver Mr. Jomon! Our first night was spent in the beautiful Forte Kochi Hotel, very highly recommended. We then drove to Munnar on the next day, visiting picturesque waterfalls and hills of tea plantations. We spent two nights in the Tall Trees resort, opting to spend a day to just stay at the resort and take advantage of all of its amenities (including an on-premises hiking trail!). We then drove down to Thekkady for some wildlife sightseeing, where we saw an elephant and a local martial arts show, and spent the night at in a lovely private cottage at Forest Canopy. Finally we returned to Kochi on the last day, stopping along several great vantage points for pictures, thanks to Mr. Jomon’s expertise about the area. Arun was a pleasure to work with during the trip planning, and he helped us to quickly plan a custom itinerary around our schedule. Would highly recommend Iris to anyone looking to see the highlights of Kerala!

In one word marvellous. I availed 8 night 9days Kerala tour. Starting from planning of programme to ultimate end of journey it was mesmerizing. Hotel accomodation, sightseeing places,temples were hassle free. About our driver Mr Lalon has an vast experience about the road map and a very good guide and taking care whether we are satisfied or not. Munnar stay in Aaranyaka resort

Hi, We had a visit to munnar for 2N/3D. The Iris holidays package covers everything. Thanks to Niranjana and vijeesh. The Aaranyaka resort is a fabulous place to stay in munnar with the waterfall view from the balcony. The service and food is amazing. Then the allocated driver come guide Mr.Saju chetta is having an unbelievable knowledge of locality. He helped in all manners to have us a great time in munnar. Must Go Trip to Munnar

Munnar is very beautiful place in Kerala. It is known as Kashmir of South. Iris team and our driver aby kattikattu has done a fantastic job by taking care of us in the whole journey. He was timely available during pickup time and took us beautiful shops and restaurants which was providing good products and food respectively.

Memorable 3N 4D escape to Munnar and Kumarakom!

Had a great time with family (3 Adults and 2 kids) for two nights Munnar and one night Kumarakom houseboat stay. This trip started from Kochi airport and was highly custom planned to suit my interests. It met most of our expectations. Hats off to our driver cum local guide Mr. Shijo Kurian for being courteous and accommodating our requirements. He took all efforts for us to make our trip memorable from upgrading car to being flexible with itinerary. Also, thanks to Mr. George Joseph for designing such a wonderful experience for us. We'd cherish our trip memories for years to come.

First Time in Kerala !

30th April, 2023 : Today is the last day of our 3N/4D trip. This is the first time for me & my family in Kerala & it's actually pretty good. Thanks to Iris Holidays for such great arrangements. I've experienced so many things in Kerala. We got a pickup arrangement from Aluva station in exact time they promised. The Driver ( Babu Antony ) He's a great guy, car was pretty good & cleen, nice behaviour, smooth driving. After riding 110km from Aluva we reached our resort Lake N Hills. The service we got from them was totally outstanding, they treated us so well. The room was good. They need to improve their extra bed system , although it's another issue but it's okay. After 2N we came Palmgrove Lake Resort (Alleppey) & the same review goes for palmgrove too. So the overall journey was s pretty good, got a good ride , good hotel service & this is all matters for new comers in Kerala. P.S. : It's my personal opinion that you guys should add lunch & dinner in the package. Make a buffet system for all vegans & non - vegans. It would be better for us.

Perfect customised holiday

Just finished our 11 days Kerala trip through iris Holidays and the trip was full of Happy moments and memories. Munnar Tour

Our tour was customised by Saranya @ Iris Holidays to suit our requirement. Our guide cum driver, Mr Shijo, is not only a very good driver but also took care to show us around. We didn't face any language problem as Shijo speaks english & would always go out of the way to cater to our requirements. I would say that our tour to Kochi & Munnar was a delight .

We went for a 3 nights and 4 days trip to Munnar-Allepey-Cochin facilitated by Iris holidays. We were well received by the reps and driver right after reaching Kochi. Mr Vijeesh who was with us throughout the trip was very polite and responsive. Would prefer the same driver even if we plan to visit again. We had a good trip with Iris Holidays. Our driver Lalan looked after us really well and the hotels booked were excellent. We visited Munnar, Allepy (house boat) and Sight seeing around Kochi area. No issues in entire trip and all the things that were planned went very well. Only negative was that IRIS should mention the options if available for Hotel stay (or) House boat.

Best experience in Kerala

Every place is undoubtedly beautiful. And what we enjoyed the most was Alleypey house boat stay , Poovar boat ride, Munnar and Varkala. The services provided by Iris Holiday’s was extremely satisfactory. And our driver uncle Mr Babu Antony is such a humble person. He treated us like a guardian.We are glad we got him as our driver.
