Makesh was our tour guide for this and is someone who not only cared for us during the trip, but he went above and beyond. Our driver was attentive and maneuvered through the busy streets with ease. We weren’t sure what to expect for our first trip to India and these two gentlemen took away any concerns we had. Highly recommended tour!

Taj Mahal from ship port

We are on a World Cruise and had made arrangements with Pacific Classic Tours to leave our ship for a private tour of the Taj Mahal. Our itinerary was changed at the last minute, but PCT was able to make our visit with the new ports. We left from Colombo and returned to Cochin on the 3rd day. Our driver, DK Sharma, picked us up at the airport and spent the entire trip getting us to all locations effortlessly, with great kindness and assistance. Made the trip, even though timing was short, seem very enjoyable. Our Guide, Mahesh, was very knowledgeable and made the building come to life for us. He was able to answer all questions, get us to all the special spots for view, and organized the day for maximum enjoyment. Totally a 5 star trip!

Ideal for cruise passengers

Overall great experience. My tour guide was amazing. Highly recommend this for cruise passengers who want to visit the Taj Mahal during their cruise. Every issue was quickly solved and the itinerary was perfect. My guide chose amazing hotels, great restaurants, and was indispensable in New Delhi and Agra.

Taj Mahal trip from our World Cruise

We booked the tour from our cruise ship which did not plan an expedition to the Taj. We were excited to find a tour that could take us to the Taj Mahal from our ship and return us the next port to rejoin our ship after our tour. We flew from Cochin to Delhi where we were picked up from our driver, Bittu, who took care of us for the next two days. We stayed in Agra at the beautiful Jaypee 5 star resort in Agra near the Taj. Our guide Maheesh met us there the next morning and took us on tours of the Taj, the Castle and Fort as well as the "Baby" Taj Mahal. Maheesh was incredibly knowledgeable of the history of all the sites we visited and the culture of the area. We also did some local tours and shopping while in Agra. The final day, we were driven back to Delhi for our flight to rejoin the ship. I cannot begin to tell you how easy it all was. All of our needs were anticipated and our itinerary was well planned and seamlessly executed. I would recommend PCTI, our guide service, to anyone who is traveling in India and wants to experience it and learn about the history and culture, especially first time visitors.

I was expecting the Taj...

I was expecting the Taj to be majestic (which it was) but the for surprised me on how wonderful it was. Normally we see forts in ruins and the fact that it is so in tact and has such a rich history was a very pleasant surprise. The entire trip though was fantastic and I truly recommend this trip.

Agra and New Delhi

Our visit to India will be very memorable our tour guide Majesh Kumar and our driver Bittu undoubtably made our tour to agra and New Delhi exceptional. We have booked tours many times but these two men are the best ever. Majesh speaks and understands English Guides tours all over India

Taj Mahal Tour

I would highly recommend booking this tour, it was the most amazing experience! We are so grateful to have met Mahesh our tour guide for the last two days who showed us around the wonderful and vibrant city of Agra! Mahesh, it was a pleasure to meet you and thank you for sharing so much of your knowledge and love for Agra with us. When we arrived Mahesh met us at the airport and accompanied us to the car, we were provided with refreshments for our car journey to Agra, we were taken to our hotel. The following day we set off to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise, it was breathtaking and such a wonderful experience. Mahesh shared so much knowledge and answered any of our questions, he was very helpful and offered to take some pictures for us..my partner proposed to me on this trip and Mahesh kindly captured this very special moment for us! Then we headed to see Agra Fort followed by lunch in a local restaurant, Mahesh provided some recommendations for local dishes to try and they did not disappoint!! The food was delicious...From here we made our way back to the Taj Mahal for sunset. It's a beautiful time of the day to watch the Taj shimmer in the sunset! I would highly recommend booking this tour to experience the wonderful city of Agra, we have made very special memories here that will last a lifetime! The best Taj Mahal experience

I could not fault this trip from start to finish! We met our guide, Mahesh at the airport with no trouble and headed straight for Agra. Mahesh was full of information and was pointing stuff out to us in Delhi and during the drive. Before pickup for sunrise at the Taj, Mahesh made sure that we knew what time pickup was in the morning and what we needed to bring, he then helped us check in at the hotel. Our trip to the Taj at sunrise was magical. Mahesh made sure we got all the photo opportunities while also giving us all the information, history and stories surrounding the Taj, in all we spent 3 hours here in the morning. After breakfast back at the hotel we visited Agra fort and again Mahesh provided more information than we can remember about the fort, any questions we had about culture or history he could answer and expand on, generating great conversation between us. During the tours Mahesh was making sure to take photos of us and was incorporating parts of the Taj and the fort for some of the best photos we have of our time in India! We had the best experience in Agra and the Taj and I can honestly say that is because of Mahesh and the seamless operations of his team, from booking the flights and hotel, to organising all our tours. AMAZING Taj Mahal/Agra Tour!!

We booked this tour as an overland excursion during a cruise stop in Mumbai and it has definitely over-exceeded my expectations in every way! Everything on the tour was organized seamlessly, from pick-ups to drop-offs as well as domestic flight bookings. Our hotel accommodations included in the tour were at the stunning 5-star Jaypee Palace hotel! Our tour guide, Mahesh was extremely friendly, informative, and professional. He taught us so much about Agra and the Taj and we were able to see everything in just 2 days! Amazing Taj Mahal tour

Signed up for this tour not sure what to expect, but Mr Mahesh (our tour guid) made this trip an unforgettable one. I can’t imagine what it would been like without him. Full Day Tour - Amazing!

We worked with Mahesh as our tour guide - a local of Agra who has endless knowledge of the area and India as a whole. He walked us through the history of the Taj and Red Fort step by step (he also knows the best angles from which to take picture so you don’t have to hire anyone). In addition, he brought us to a great lunch spot where we were treated extremely well and they had great Indian cuisine! Would highly recommend. Hari, our driver, picked us up from the Hotel and brought us to each of the sites. He was very timely, also had water for us (India is very humid), and even stopped at a few local stops to grab a quick snack on the road. Great guy!

Great all-day tour with Mahash and Hari

Mahash was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. All along the way provided intimate details about the history and architecture of the buildings. We learned a lot and enjoyed our time through the day. Hari was our driver and made us feel safe and comfortable during our trip. We politely declined doing the shopping stops which they graciously accepted so we could focus on the sites. I would highly recommend this tour for the avid traveler.

Day Trip to Agra from Delhi

We were met by our driver, Hari, in the morning and drove approx 3 hrs to Agra. There we met with our local guide, Mahesh for a day tour of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Mahesh’ knowledge of the historical and cultural aspect of these landmarks made this trip so informative. We had lunch at a local restaurant which was ok—it was included in the tour (excludes beverages though). We opted to skip the carpet factory because after the marble factory, we decided it wasn’t our thing (we didn’t care to buy anything). We only wanted to see the landmarks. Otherwise it was a very good, safe tour. Mahesh also warned us ahead of time of the street vendors that we would be passing by as they can get very annoying. I would recommend this tour to anyone traveling to India.
