We went on the boat 3 times for snorkeling, bubble maker diving and diving in Kho Kood. Everybody on the boat is super nice and friendly. We felt save and had a great time on and under the water. Highly recommended.

Well-organized and well-equipped diving outfit

Went on three fun dives with BB Divers in Koh Chang. Highly recommend a diving excursion with this company. They're very professional and know what they're doing! Great, easy-to-use equipment: fins, masks, BCDs. The office will arrange your excursion in a snap, and set you up with your equipment efficiently. Large boat with a spacious upper deck brings you to the dive sites, with buffet lunch served on deck. Staff/guides are competent and give clear instructions (Pierre, Rittichai aka Pern, Michael and Adrien to name a few). Briefings before each dive are serious, with detailed topographical maps of each dive site shown. HTMS Chang shipwreck was the highlight, and was swarming with large schools of bigeye trevally, chevron barracudas and goldband fusiliers

The dive masters are very professional, take care of students, knowledgable about sea life - especially charles. Big opportunity of improvement for the cashier girl at the shop, amability should not be optionnal.

Just Excellent

So happy to write an excellent review after our excellent day with BB Divers! Extra special thanks to instructors Adrien and Halle who were along for my dives. After a recent bad/unsafe experience at another dive shop, I was quite anxious (but determined) to get back underwater. Wow I was so impressed with the attention to detail and safety on this trip. The thorough dive briefs really improved the experience. The instructors were so patient and engaged with us. I could tell they have a passion for facilitating wonderful dives. I appreciated how they pointed out cool creatures and were always checking in and aware of the entire group. Honestly can't say enough about how these two made sure I had an excellent day of diving! In fact the entire crew was always kind and polite, so the whole boat had good vibes. It was so nice to be able to be on the same boat as my friends who were snorkeling (they also had a fantastic time). Also happy with the amenities on board-- yummy lunch, electrolyte powder, COLD fresh water, surprise fresh fruit delivery at the end, etc etc. If you're looking for a truly excellent, professional, and friendly dive shop, this is the one! Every dive shop should be like this, but the unfortunate truth is that many are not. So I suggest you choose BB.

Dive with BB Divers!!!!

I did my theory online prior to coming to the dive resort. I had Chang as my instructor and he was a great instructor, keeping everything fun and light-hearted. Everyone who worked there was super happy and friendly. Plenty of food served on the boat and the day trips were fabulous. 100% reccomend!

Great diving day!

We had one day diving trip to ko rang national park with group of four person friend group. It was totally worth of price. Views under water were amazing and we were able to see all kind of corals and fishes. Big thanks to our instructor Aaron! He was really helpfull and actually sucrafished his own lunch break to give one of us a private dive because he strugled to go under water. He also spoke great english and gave clear instructions before diving. I can recomend this for every one!

Great diving school

Great diving school! Our children 16 and 18 years old loved learning how to dive; my daughter (nicknamed Ms. Fish by the crew) is even hooked for life :-). My husband I have our Padi's but hadn't dived for >10 years. We were eased back in patiently, with all of us enough time to take in the wonderful views with color fish, moray eels, etc. Will definitely go again!

We did a lot with BB divers in Koh Chang and Koh Kood with all family : snorkelling day, bubble maker, Padi open water , daytrip with 2 days. All was great. Good equipment for all family, good boat and very nice staff. Perfect

Diving Koh Chang with BB

I did the Nitrox course with BB divers and had a splendid time. The facilities and arrangements were really top notch. My dive instructor - Michael was a gentle giant, patient and as passionate as they come. Thank you Michael for being a gem throughout the two days. The team at BB diver overall is excellent and would highly recommend to dive with .

TOP NOTCH DIVE CENTER FROM BOW TO STERN!!!

We did 5 Dives with BB DIVERS!! The dives were all great.. the HTMS CHANG dive itself had everything you would want in one dive .. massive schools of marine life and a great and historical dive site.. this applies to the National park dives as well… Lay, our staff member, sorted us out with a great bed down location at Cliff Cottage View resort to dive packages. Our dive guide was PADI MSDT Michael Capper.. Top notch guide and it’s easy to spit he is a great Dive instructor ( I can spot the good ones ) .. this applies to the whole dive team .. thumbs up to Pavel as well!!! The Dive boat is well maintained and laid out and the crew was professional and proactive .. excellent from Bow to Stern !!! The lunches were delicious and the logistical shuttling from bed down locations to the dive sites and back were smooth like butter!!! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE from snorkelers to Divers/Dive students …Koh Chang is a beautiful chain of islands …

Highly suggest. It is not important if you can swim or not. Tou will learn to dive and overcome a fear of a deep water. Learn hydrodinamics. Observe seaworld

Great first diving experience!

Everything was perfect!! I did the discover scuba dive with Julia Simsch and it was amazing, she was a great instructor, made me feel comfortable breathing for the first time under water. Also, she was super nice, calm and reassuring! I loved it so much that I completed the open water diver course with BB Koh Kood afterwards. The BB divers team was super supportive with that and made it possible for me to do it while island hopping in the koh Chang Archipel, so all in all it was a perfect experience😊 would love to come back one day!

Professional and fun

I just spend 14 dives with BB divers Ko Chang and it was nothing but fun. Everyone and everything is very professional and well organized. Staff and dive guides are all super friendly and attentive. The wreck dive at the HTMS Chang is fantastic and the adjacent spots offer amazing coral gardens in great condition with lots of marine life. (I did it three times…) The national park at Koh Rang is also lovely. The boats are in great condition, the food is excellent and all in all it is a great experience. I might have to do it again. 😄 Thanks to Kristel and her entire team! 🙏

Safe, professional and well organised. 

My wife and I have dived with over 20 dive operators and BB is one of the most professional we have used. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. BB runs 3 boats out of Koh Chang and other boats from Koh Kood. The boats are ex fishing boats fitted out for diving. The rental equipment is in good condition.  BB picks up divers from their hotels and returns them at the end of the day. We stayed at their resort, Cliff Cottage, which is close to the pier where the boats depart. We were picked up by small boat each day.  The dive masters and crew were all excellent. Boat, safety and dive briefings were comprehensive and informative - some of the best we have ever had. Even the snorklers had an in-depth briefing.  Food on board was excellent with  a Thai buffet and soft drinks included in the price. The diving was excellent. The wreck of HTMS Chang was teeming with fish and the coral at other sites was stunning.   Highly recommended.

Perfect First Dives with Our Guide and Divemaster Ady

Our divemaster Ady was the Perfect Guide. Just PADI Open Water Certified by the skilled BB Divers/Koh Kood. Now the time for my first 2 Fundives. After good communication BB Divers arranged Ady as our guide in the National Park. The perfect choise and match. All the way we experienced perfect guidance and focus. Ady secured us 2 excellent dives. With his focus based on my skills as an absolute beginner :-). Learned a lot as Ady shared his experience and excellent skills. Boat crew and diving/snorkeling collegues gave us a perfect day on the boat. BB Divers have given me the best introduction to the amazing underwater world. Look forward to keep on diving!!! A perfect day

This was only my second time diving. But I knew what to expect. What I wasn't prepared for was the beauty I witnessed, it was a phenomenal experience. In such a moment ones guide can make or break the experience. Michael my trainer was superb and great company. The boats are extremely tidy and well kept. There was plenty of coffee and cold drinks and lunch was delicious. This was a 100% experience.

Great dive school and dive sites

I dive today with divemaster Book. Had a great day! Saw whaleshark at the wreck. Beautiful dive. Great divemaster and also the other staff of the dive school is amazing! Also the really nice helping lady at the desk! Good equipment and great service!

Beautiful diving experience

I hadn't prepared or expected I would do diving during the trip it was kind of last minute decision but it was such an amazing experience. I had no idea of diving or snorkelling but BB diver was well organised and the instructor Pierre was so reliable and patient. I would definitely want to come back and do the PADI course next time.

Perfect diving day

Very pleasant and relaxed diving trip with BB Divers. I booked the trip two days in advance by phone, no fuss at all. The dive master Book was very helpful and professional. He briefed us well before the two dives. The lunch they brought on the boat was absolutely delicious.

Super nice diving

I highly recommend this divecenter! Beautiful divespots in the Koh Chang area, and the dive masters are really kind and helpful. The boat is nice and not too big, so you the dive sites aren't too crowded. And: the lunch is amazing. Loved my dives with BB!

Highly professional diving school, amazing friendly instructor and staff

We went diving with BB Divers on 3 days with my family at Koh Rang. Kristel was very friendly and organized pick-up from Koh Mak. Pierre our dive instructor was the perfect guide and showed us the amazing sealife. We saw lots of stingrays, muray eels, turtle, 2 red lion fish, puffer fish as well as everything else. Thank you so much. In my wifes birthday they also prepared a wonderful fruit birthday cake. The equipment was perfectly maintained. I can highly recommend diving with BB Divers

Great day, with great dive master

We did a day trip with BB divers, to the HTMS Chang wreck and two coral reefs. Our dive master was the charming Pierre, who was very experienced and calm. Also knowledgeable about the dive sites. And responded to all our questions and hick-ups (empty tank) well. Ask for him, when you book with Bb divers!

Amazing !

As a new diver freshly certified I wanted to enjoy my time in Koh Chang to dive so I went for the 10 dives package. BB Divers is a great diving school, very convenient as they offer pick up services. A big thank you to the friendly dive masters, particularly to Pierre my instructor ! I really felt safe during all my dives. He took the time to answer all of my questions, share his passion for the ocean and he’s a great photographer too! It was very interesting to discover the undersea landscape of Koh Chang specially the wreck and learn about the different fishes and coral sites. I will definitely recommend / go back to BB Divers for diving in Koh Chang.

Amazing and highly recomended!

Absolutely joyful one day experience! Everything was just perfect from the pick up to an actual dive experience. Our Instructor Pierre was very professional and attentive to details plus had a very good friendly personality. We highly recommend this experience to someone who wants to spend a day or a few exploring the amazing sea-life of Thailand!

a wonderful world

We had two marvelous dives in one day. First on the HTMS Chang Wrek where we found amazing schools of baraccudas and thousands of other fish. With a sight up to 15 Meters and a dive gide (Chris) who let us take all the time to look at the wonderful maritime life and enjoy. The second one was on Hin Lap - a lovey lokal coral divesite with huge fields of anemons. It seems that the underwater world is recovering. We appreciated very much, that this trip has been made possible, even if we where only a few Customers on board. The whole crew was very friendly and helpful in every aspect. This realy deserves 5 stars! Tha nk you!

Guide Pierre is awesome! The shipwreck is beautiful!! Everything is good and we saw a lot of fishes.

Diving with Adrien

My friend and I had a pleasure to do 5 fun dives around Koh Chang with Adrien Pain. Adrien was very attentive and caring. He made sure we had a great time both during the dives and on the boat. His expertise is second to none. He is no stranger to the sea and ocean. We learnt and relearnt a lot about diving tips and techniques from Adrien. As a result, we become much more knowledgable and had a wonderful 2 days. I would highly recommend diving with Adrien through BBDiver.

Another fantastic day out with BB divers

This is the 3rd trip in 3 years we have been on with BB divers, yet another great experience. This time we dived with Tea as our guide. Last January my partner completed her OW course and hadn't been diving since due to Covid. Tea was very helpful in giving lots of excellent advice and refreshing her diving knowledge as well as helping her to improve buoyancy whilst under the sea. As always a nice vibe on the boat with a chilled out and relaxed approach to diving. We will be back again on koh Chang in the new year for sure. hands down, this is very professionally operated diving establishment. Plain sailing from the hotel all the way to the wreck. Our French instructor made whole trip effortless and unforgettable experience for both of us. And seeing the whale shark, wow! Thank you.

Highly Recommended!

My first trip to Koh Chang with friends for scuba fun dives - I haven’t been in the sea for a while and normally get panicked easily under water, so not sure if it was actually fun for me but my friends seem so. At the end we did 6 dives with P’Tea, not to mention my anxiety attacks, quite a character friends, and murky water for 2 days as the cherry on top, he was extremely patient with us and managed to get all of us finished those 6 dives safe and sound. P’Tea gave us some good advice even under water also marine life edutainment during lunch breaks. Friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely come back to Koh Chang and do scuba diving with BB Divers more!

Benevolent Boss? - thanks for the discount again... Be and Become? - I have become selfish diver here, I am happy I can practice my solo beliefs here... bo BB!

Disappointed

I would not recommend this shop. When booking, I asked about the number of divers for one dive master. I was told 4, we were 6. For me this is unprofessional and I would not dive with this shop again.

Overcame my fear

I was diving with my school class, which I at first really didn’t want to do. The thought of diving really frightened me, and my mind was set on not going through with the dive. It was the instructor named Tea who made me feel safe and made me actually enjoy the dive. Would definitely recommend BB divers!

Too many people and only two places for diving.

Diving was nice but one day is wreck spot and second day is national park diving. If you would like to continue, you have to go to same spots again.

Excellent Dive center

I dived with many dive centers around Thailand and I can say BB divers are the most professional so far, I did 3 dives with BB divers local dives and I highly recommend them. - communication with Kristel was smooth, and I got all the information I needed although I asked many questions. - Tia was the dive master in my group (max 4 person), he was very professional and the best i have been with so far, the dive briefing is clear and comprehensive, I learned a lot from him as he highlighted to me and the group all mistakes we do and how to overcome them. thank you Tia. - fair price - maintained equipment - they care so much on safety, that sometimes you feel it is over but it is exactly what a dive center must do - open water student was on the boat, and from my observation I can say that their dive instructors are very good. - clean spacious boat - thai lunch is very tasty, better than all restaurants I tried around koh Chang on the dive sites, HTMS chang wreck has many fishes and was the best among the three dives, we did up to 18 meter on the wreck all the group were open water certified. other two reefs hin luk bath and hin rab south were average. all the three dives the visibility was not great.

Great Diving! Awesome Experience!

Hi @all, firstly i chose BB Divers because we felt very comfortable as we visited their diving shops around the island. We also had a look at various other shops from other companies but, as i mentioned above, we had the best feeling at BB Divers and they did not dissapoint - only the weather did once. So lets begin with the first day diving. We were picked up on time at nearly the other side of the island, drove to the pier with the BB Divers Headquarter, got our gear, did the paperwork and went on to the boat. By the way: Bang Bao Pier is nice! Heaps of little shops with a few hidden restaurants that i can recommend checking out. Back to topic: we went on to the boat. A nice Thai-Style diving boat. Nothing fancy but looks well maintained and it has all thats needed for the day trip. We loved the top-deck with awning and beanbags. That day was scheduled to go to koh rang. Sea was rough and there were thunderstorms but as soon as we jumped into the water - it was great. But before we got a briefing and our dive guide explained the area. We build up our dive gear, got into the shortys and off we go. Compared to the rough open sea, the area around koh rang was pretty sheltered and calm - you just have to survive the drive there ;-). The dives at koh rang were ok. We saw a few species but i reckon if we would have had a better visibility (remember: we dived in the rain-season and with bad weather) it would have been great. Between the two dives was a break. There was heaps of thai food (pretty tasty), snacks and drinks available on board. The second spot was a different one but, because of the visibility, pretty similiar. The weather on the way back was a bit better so we slept the whole way in the beanbags on the top deck. We got a shuttle back - no worries. At this time we werent sure if we wanted to go for another day - glad we went out for another dive! The second day was similiar to the first one. Except a few thing: the weather was better, our gear was already packed and we went to different spots: the wreck and Hin Raab South. It was great! Sea was calm, sun shining. There was a 30min drive to the wreck and we went down on a rope with little to no current. We made our way around the whole wreck and saw heaps heaps of fish. A school of curious batfish followed us the whole dive. The visibility was good even with a few days bad weather before and nearby full moon. So i reckon in dry season it must be even more awesome! Next: surface break and dinner with - again - really tasty thaifood, snacks and cold drinks. The second dive spot was kind of similiar to koh rang. Heaps of corals and we dived around a little island with a bit of current from time to time. On or way back - guess what - we slept again on the beanbags. Got a lift back and thats it. I can absolutely recommend BB Divers Koh Chang. They are a bunch of nice, funny people that really take care of you and try to do what they can to provide you a great day. The only thing they cant do is predict the weather - and thats ok because no one can ;-) Photo by @Daveys_adventures
