Hey there, American here! I had the best time seeing the Taj Mahal. Was able to book this tour 2am at night and still able to go out 4hrs to Agra on the same day! Very chill and accommodating. I went in a small Toyota sedan and it has working air conditioning, so that’s the main thing- just me so I slept in the whole back seat from Jaipur. Literally had like 100 different hotel pickups, so yours should be on there. Kamal the driver was a very sweet old man, not creepy in the car as a solo traveler. Car was kinda like a college dorm, but it’s better than a sweaty bus or train and for only $100 something. Vinny was my tour guide and he was really cool! He knew all the guards, photographers and water guys. He’s funny, and literally took THE BEST INSTAGRAM PHOTOS EVER!!!! I mean I barely go on insta but my friends would be so jealous. He knows how to do cool photo effects with the iPhone and he has an iPhone MAX model so great lens! He was able to sneak in my cute sandals and take pics in the “not allowed” places haha. Took me to a Persian rug store which was very interesting to see the lady do 4,000 individual knots by hand to create the art. They showed me more rugs I could buy, and they said they could ship internationally. Not sure normal pricing, but he would give $1,800 for 9x5 handmade pretty rug. I said no because I’m a student with a student loan in debt so no go hahahaha… I’m a 30yr, single post grad btw:) Still cool!

We were fortunate to come across Shakeel outside the airport. He made our visit safe, enjoyable, and memorable. We were able to visit all the major attractions in a timely and efficient manner. Me and my friends went to Agra. In the airport we got picked up by Shakil. He drove us safely to the hotel, and is a very kind og good man. He showed us the Taj Mahal, Agra fort, baby Taj and a lot of good quality stores, to buy souvenirs. I will recommend Shakil to everbody visiting Agra - especially if you are a group of young women like us. He made the visit very safe and fun.

Wonderful Agra

The Best Travel Guide Ever ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (esp. for solo female traveler!)

If only I could give 100 stars, I definitely would! Shakil has been a wonderful guide throughout the day. I had some difficulties in withdrawing rupees during my trip in Agra, but he was very helpful and willing to go the extra miles (re: visiting every ATM and money exchange counter around Agra). As a solo female traveler, he made me feel very safe and secure (super important for me). Excellent service, there’s no dodgy upselling whatsoever. He’s also very flexible to adjust the itinerary based on your preference. Once again, thank you for your kindness, Shakil! safe to say I gained a new friend in Agra now. If you ever plan to visit Agra, I highly recommend Shakil to be your trustworthy local guide :)

Very reliable with great customer service

This is my second trip with Samiworld. Several years ago they took us on a trip from Delhi to Agra and Jaipur. We appreciated the service, cost, and reliability so much that I only contacted samiworld on my most recent trip to India, for car/driver services in Delhi. Once again, the drivers were reliable, showing up at the airport and our hotel reliably on time, and communicating with us by phone/text when we were at sights or meals. Haroon is extremely responsive- we were able to text him at any time and get a quick response; he also stayed in contact with our drivers at all times. When we mentioned any issues with the car/driver to Haroon, he immediately resolved them in a good way. I was happy once again with the service, and recommend them when you're in Delhi or the Golden Triangle.

Best driver in Agra

Taxi driver Shakeel picked me up at the airport and took me to the hotel. After one hour, he took me to Taj Mahal and later for sightseeing and dinner. Next day, to Agra Fort, Taj Baby and other places he recommended. He was always recommending places and waiting for me while visiting/buying or eating. Tour Agra with Shakeel

We spent 3 nights, 4 days in Agra. When arriving in Agra we met a taxi driver by the name of Shakeel. What a pleasant surprise. Shakeel organised all our excursions and also organised guides to accompany us while visiting the main attractions. Shakeels car was always neat and tidy, he made sure the aircon was the perfect temperature and was very friendly, helpful and trustworthy. We had an amazing time checking off a bucket list item - visiting the Taj Mahal. Our driver Shakeel was fantastic and gave us great advice on how to avoid unwanted attention from photo seekers and scammers. We got visit the Agra Fort and Mini Taj & Shakeel made great recommendations for restaurants and shops to visit as well. The car was comfortable, we had good conversation and overall enjoyed our time in Agra and the service that was provided was great.

Excellent Friendly Driver and Knowledgable Guide

On a frenetic trip around India with 4 other friends, we booked a overnight trip to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and were not disappointed! Shakir (our driver, who is such a nice man and a great driver!) picked us up from Delhi and drove us to Agra and then back again the next day, even cheerfully agreeing to collect us from our homestay at 5am to take us to the Taj Mahal! Kahn, our guide for the trip (we visited Agra Fort, the Mehtab gardens and the Taj Mahal) was also excellent, clearly very knowledgeable about all the places we visited and again happy to wake up early to get to the Taj Mahal as soon as it opened. Highly recommended!

Amazing tour with Mukul Dev

We had a great experience during our time in Agra. Experienced the Agra Fort, local markets and the Taj Mahal. He is extremely knowledgable and made us feel safe and secure when we may have had difficulties being alone. Cannot recommend highly enough. While in Agra definately seek Devu's help. You won't be disappointed! He has great banter and loves some cricket talk too!
