Incredible tour of Jaipur (and so much more)!

We originally contacted Vinod for a one day sightseeing tour, but little did we know Vinod would help us organise our entire 6 day stay in Rajastan - starting in Jaipur and ending in Delhi. And this was the absolute best decision!! Vinod was incredibly helpful, responsive and accommodating to our wishes. Vinod personally picked us up from the airport on our first day, as well as arranged for all our transfers around Jaipur and beyond. Even though he was feeling a bit under the weather during our first planned sightseeing day he connected us with Kahn, a history student and english&german speaking guide, who not only showed us the touristy hotspots that we wanted to see but also gave us a proper local experience. From seeing the majestic Agra fort and elephant village, to walking the streets of pink (and yellow) city, delicious chai, a textile wonderland and experiencing holi at a Hindi temple. The next day we embarked on our sightseeing tour part 2 with Vinod. This day definitely made the highlights of our entire India trip! He picked us up in a Tuk Tuk and showed us so many hidden temple gems of Jaipur, while also including a stop at a local gemstone/jewellery factory, leather shoemaker and delicious food. Dear Vinod and Kahn - thank you for the most incredible tours of Jaipur - you’ll always have family in Austria & Slovenia (and NYC). PS. They definitely know their way around a camera!

An amazing experience from the moment we booked until the end of the tour.

Wow! From the moment the sightseeing tour was booked communication with Vinod was outstanding. As a result we booked an additional day so we could visit more sites. His knowledge of Jaipur was exemplary and he was happy to adjust the itinerary when we wanted to visit different places. He was very honest and gave us advice about each destination. We felt really safe in his tuk tuk. At the beginning of the tour he presented us with a lovely garland of flowers and a bottle of water each. Vinod has an amazing sense of humour and we loved his singing! If you are looking for a tour that is stress free but allows you to visit the best sites in Jaipur then I would definitely booking a tour with Vinod.

Great tour

Highly recommend this tour. Something happened and I had to reschedule the tour and Vinod and Mohsin were very understanding and kind. I'm grateful. I had a great time on the tour. Mohsin, the driver, was really nice and accommodating. We changed the itinerary according to my interests and in the end Mohsin showed me a hidden gem that I liked more than some popular places. He took me to a good restaurant, not too expensive. I like how Mohsin drive the tuk tuk, felt safe. Bottle of water was provided. I would definitely recommend Vinod and Mohsin to everyone.

Vinod made our trip to Jaipur so special. He took us on a trip to all the main sights and some local areas too. His knowledge is fantastic, very well spoken English and his personality is infectious. Always on hand to help us at any point through our short stay. Fully recommend booking.

Superb man & excellent tour

Vinod - what a guy and what a tour. He picked us up from the train station and dropped our bags at our hotel before starting the tour. Was super easy to communicate with beforehand. As for the tour itself - brilliant!!! He took us to all the key spots, gave us some fascinating insights and showed us some of the hidden gems. Particularly enjoyed the food stops. Excellent English and such a knowledgable bloke. Recommend highly 👍👍👍

Fantastic sightseeing in Jaipur by tuc tuc

We were picked up at our hotel on time by our drivrr Ali. He took us to many interesting places and told us many interesting things. He was available all day to show us what we desired. We were taken back to the hotel when we wanted.

Best tour guide in India!

Vinod is the absolute best! We arrived in Jaipur and did not know the area well. Luckily Vinod took care of us taking us to the usual tourist spots, but best of all he took us to the hidden spots where we saw amazing temples, shops where you felt so welcomed and not pressured to buy anything - as well as amazing tourist friendly restaurants. We kept in touch throughout our stay and he picked us up whenever needed in his tuc tuc, and also as they have a car they can do airport transfers too. They do it all and take care of you every step of the way - the best in India!

Vinod is a great tour guide.

Met Vinod as we were walking down the street & he offered to give us a 3 hour tour of the main sights of Jaipur. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip, Vinod is very knowledgeable, speaks good English & was kind & patient when we stopped at places, he even took photos for us. We did get taken to a couple of outlets to try & get us to purchase but we're hard nuts to crack! Would definitely recommend Vinod for a tour in Jaipur.

Very planned and organized sight seeing.

Nawab Khan was our tuk tuk driver who picked up from our hotel on time and took us across various tourists sites in Jaipur and guided us during the entire tour. Definitely recommend the services of this tour operator as they're knowledgeable, polite and punctual.

Ajay was great

Ajay was really great. He knows a lot about Jaipur and he is respectful. The day trips in particular are very cheap and you can rely on him. Furthermore, he was always punctual.

Fantastic day out

Best dressed tuk tuk driver in Jaipur. Vinod was very knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly a great sense of humour. He was very relaxed, didn’t make me feel rushed at all, we got so much done and still had time to visit an elephant sanctuary! Freeing up another day so I can do even more! Highly recommend!

A great compact way of seeing Jaipur

It was foggy when we were in Jaipur (in January 2024 which apparently unusual for Jaipur and it was an early morning trip. My partner had been very unwell (totally unrelated to this activity) and Vinod and Ali (our driver) both recommended we take a car and not tuk-tuk so as not to make him more unwell (as it was so cold), this was a good idea. We made it round all the major sites aside from the stairwells (as it was too foggy to see). It was great to get so many sites into a day as we only had a short while in Jaipur. Sadly we had to end our tour a bit earlier as my partner was really feeling poorly, but Ali was understanding. Would definitely recommend if you are short on time.

Trustworthy experience

We had two lovely days with Ajay, he drove us anywhere we wanted and recommended very good spots. He was so patient and trustworthy. He really made our experience in Jaipur special! We were a group of three girls and I can really recommend Ajay as personal driver.

Highly recommend. Tour operator was easy to communicate with. Itinerary exactly as outlined with no hidden extras. Remember you are paying for the tuk-tuk driver only. Covers a lot. Driver was timely, friendly and looked after me. They will pick you up and drop you back to your hotel. I started at 08:30 and was finished around 16:30. Suggest starting early.

Awesome tour

A great day exploring Jaipur. Our driver Ikram took good care of us and advised the order of places to visit to avoid the crowds which is not easy on a holiday, but he succeeded. We had a great time, top quality service.

Excellent day

Contact with Vinod, our host, was excellent from the moment we made the booking. He was interested in what we wanted to see and do during the day and was happy to work with our wishes. He had excellent English this communication was no problem. He picked up us from our hotel on time, dressed impeccably in his tuktuk. He is very knowledgable. We first visited Sukh Mandir, a quiet and superb monument the historic royal families. We then moved onto the Amber Palace where Vinod arranged a jeep to take up up to the palace, which I’d wonderful. Get full entry to see the whole site. A superb local lunch was followed by visits to several other sites, including a local hand block-printed clothing manufacturer. All in all a superb day, we would highly recommend Vinod.

A great option to tour Jaipur!

Vinod was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and kind. He spoke English very well, making him a great choice for English-speaking travelers to Jaipur. I definitely recommend touring with him!

Fun, flexible tour with a great driver/guide

The tour covers many of the well-known attractions in Jaipur, but also a few lovely lesser-known sites that we would not have known about without having a local guide. Additionally the guide (Vinod) was very personable and funny, which made the experience even better (he even bought us a traditional Indian yoghurt drink at the start of the tour). The tuk-tuk is a nice way to travel around Jaipur as the open sides allow for great views of the surroundings. It was particularly interesting to travel through some of the narrow streets of Jaipur. The sites that we stopped at were all great, and we even had the flexibility to skip a few of the scheduled stops so we could spend a bit more time at places we found very interesting. There was also a stop at a clothing manufacturer and a jewelry manufacturer. We saw a brief presentation about how the items were traditionally made and then saw some of the products. I was impressed that no hard-sell tactics were used. We did not feel any pressure to buy anything (although I did buy a nice Indian shirt - fitted then made in a couple of hours). Definitely a good experience!

Great Day!

This was the great tour in the jaipur. Vinod was very helpful and his team works great. He sent a driver Nawab who was also very much patient and was available all the times and helpful too. Was one of the best days of my tour in Jaipur. Definitely will recommend to visit the Jaipur through Vinod.

Great Ride in Jaipur

We booked a private sightseeing tour the night before on Tripadvisor and received confirmation within half an hour. Vinod came 15 mins before the actual pick up time the next day morning. He treated us to refreshing lassi drinks to start off the day. He took us around the top attractions and a couple of Jaipur hidden gem places such as Royal Gaitor Tumbas and local wholesale fabric/ garments/ clothing shop and jewellery shop. (No problems at all if we didn't buy anything.) Vinod is a great & knowledgeable guide and safe driver too. He also helped us planning our next day itinerary. When we finished the tour, we asked him for a payment link so that we could give tips (as we ran out of cash.) He told us not to worry as he didn't want to stress us. (Of course we tipped him at the end for the excellent service he provided.) Highly recommended!

Shahrukh was an amazing guide. He is very welcoming, friendly and an all round good person. He picked us up from our hotel and took us to all the amazing sights of Jaipur, and was very accommodating to places that we wanted to see. I would recommend him to anyone looking to visit Jaipur, you will have a great time and make a very good friend while doing so.

Day tour Jaipur

Great way to see around Jaipur. Mr Shrif was fantastic- Weaving amongst the dense traffic and acting as our tour guide. Nothing was a problem and he was happy to change the suggested route, stopping for camera opportunities and shops. He is a chilled guy and there was none of the usual hassling - I’d highly recommend this way of seeing the sights

Beautiful Tuk Tuk Tour

I tried trip advisor for the first time. Tuk tuk guy was very punctual and called beforehand for pickup and was very polite. He smartly organised our tour according to our needs. We haven’t had a breakfast so he suggested a nice local place which was pretty good indeed. He had good knowledge about local places. We had a fun day more than we expected. One should definitely go with this.

Best city tour in India with great recommendations

Vinod is the best driver and tour guide I’ve had in India. I’ve been to India twice and my experience with him was amazing, perfect English and great conversations while driving. He brought me to many local spots for food etc. all his recommendations are 10/10. If I had more time I would go around the city with him again!

The best tuk tuk tour

I did a city tour with Vinod in his tuk tuk on my trip to India this year and it was fabulous!! Vinod is a great guy, friendly and safe. I love that as a solo traveller that I can have fun with the company im with. I loved all the sights Vinod took me to and was so impressed I booked him the next day to explore the city further (making him stop for the best lassi a second time haha). I highly recommended Vinod to anyone who wants to explore Jaipur.

Once again I used this company while in India. I have travelled many times and had some awful experiences (as a solo woman traveller) prior to using Rajasthan India Tour Driver but on a more recent trip I met Vinod and WOW I am blown away at how professional and helpful he and his team is. Experience Jaipur the best and budget-friendly way

Amazing day tour of Jaipur in TukTuk. Ali was the perfect TukTuk driver. He went above and beyond, was extremely attentive, drove safe and even made extra stops whenever we wished. The guide Sunil spoke perfect English, had deep knowledge of the historical, architectural and cultural backgrounds. All our questions were answered in depth and we were stunned by the beauty of the city. Good timing of the tour from morning to early afternoon. All in all an unforgettable experience!

A punctual, respectful tuktuk tour with Ravi

The best way to see Jaipur

I truly recommend Ravi for your Jaipur adventure. You can completely trust that he will always be punctual and with a wonderful smile and energy. We spent 3 days in Jaipur and he made our stay simply wonderful. Not only did he take us around the city to eat, shop and sightsee, he even gave us tips for off the beaten track experiences and all in his trusty rickshaw (tuktuk). Look no further next time you are in Jaipur!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN INDIA!

It was for sure our worst experience in India! Shakir our Tuk Tuk driver at the beginning was a nice person he said to us he is a history student. We wanted to go to visit the Amber Fort and he said to us we had a lot of time, recommend us to visit an elephant sanctuary before going there. It came out, that his friends worked at the sanctuary and they wanted money for them. After the elephants he went to make gas without explaining us, so we did not really know where we where leading to and at the end he dropped us off in the middle of the village of Amber and not where we must to go so we had to walk for 15 minutes probably only because we didn’t give money to his friends at the elephant place. But the worst part came after the visit of the Amber Fort! He repeatedly asked us if we wanted to go to buy some clothes at a shop. We denied all the time, we only wanted to go to the hostel. He insisted and said that it was an the way. It was not like this!!! We looked on google maps and said him that he was not driving the right direction to the hostel but he was still going to his friends shop. He stopped in front of the shop pretending to go inside for see and buy something but we didn’t want and repeated him to take us only back to our hostel. He got upset and after a little driving he stopped in the middle of a small street and asked us why we don’t trust him, cause we had Google maps open! He said us that he is not kidnapping us! We tried to be calm, but we where afraid of this creepy guy! Than he said us we should go out of the Tuk Tuk, but it was almost 1 km and a half away from our hostel and his excuse was that with him we would wait in the traffic for more than 30 min. So we went off the Tuk Tuk! He also told us a lot of times to make a review writing us on our phone all the day after to make this review and asked us why we didn’t already make the review, so of course we did and really bad! Really a bad experience! Absolutely not recommended!

Avoid at any cost, he will scam you while pretending he is your friend

We were extremely dissapointed to trust Vinod as our guide only for him to scam us. He took us through the city with his tuc tuc, only at unrealistic expensive places where he was getting commissions from, like a fabric ´producer’ who was selling dresses for 80 euros and carpets for 100 eur or more, jewely stores where they employed minors and to meet and feed some poor elephants for 4500 Rs per person. When we got to our hotel our host told us any price 40 eur or more is not normal for a dress, when it actually costs 15 - 30eur or from 1500- to 3500 rs in a store, also we found out that the most important landmarks in the city - the 2 forts, he hadn’t even mentioned to us. He also gave us a price for a ride we planned to make - double than what it really cost. He had very poor to no explanations about any of our questions, he didn’t even know why they call it the Pink city. So sad you put your trust in someone especially to take care of u in an unknown city and they simply take advantage.

Trusted driver in Jaipur

Vinod is a great tour guide and driver. He picked me and my family up from the airport and brought us to our hotel. He was very friendly and speaks great english. After the good experience we booked him again for sightseeing today and got a great tour for a fair price. He showed us lovely local stores, where we went shopping and had to pay way less than they asked for in the stores we visited with an other guide earlier. Overall it was a great experience and I wish I would have known about Vinod before I booked activities for my stay in Jaipur on the internet. Best tour guide ever and my trusted driver within Jaipur!

We liked the tour very much! We went to amber fort, to an elephant park, the water palace, the stepwells, an arts&crafts show and the cenotaphs of the jaipur maharanis.
