Private tour with the best driver, ever

We had a private tour from Agra to Jaipur with sight seeing stops on the way. We were so happy to have the best driver, Mohammed Shakir! He was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the ride with him so much that we booked him for the next day, too, for an all day Jaipur city tour. And again we had a great day. Mohammed Shakir is a very safe driver, we always felt very comfortable with him and he knows a lot of helpful tips. He showed us around his beautiful city. We would always hire him again. Thank you so much!

Great custom tour of Jaipur

We went for a day tour in Jaipur and around with Imran. After visiting the main highlights, we asked him to go try some street food. He took us to try many different things, including pani puri, sugar cane juice, fresh mango juice, lassi, samosas and other delicious snacks we could not remember the name ;) We were afraid of getting stomach issues by eating street food but Imran chose the right places for us and everything was fine! Delicious and fun local experience! We really liked that Imran was open to adapt the tour to our preferences.

Great way to see Jaipur

Great tour of Jaipur with our guide Suriya and driver Mr Jaheer. Suriya was very knowledgeable and really brought the sights to life. He respected our decision when we declined to visit a factory (my husband and I not being a fan of any stops at factories/shops) which we appreciated. The car was clean and comfortable and overall we enjoyed the day - definitely a tour to do!

Lovely time at Jaipur for 4 days

We had Mr Jaheer Khan from Janu Private Tours who was our driver for 4 days and he was wonderful in being flexible to our itinerary and to recommend some sight-seeing spots and places we should not miss out seeing. an excellent navigator on the road and with the Jaipur traffic, we felt safe in all the destinations and local shopping places we went to. Our time at Jaipur was made more wonderful with his guidance. Thank you Jaheer!

Best experience in Jaipur!

Amazing experience! We were in Jaipur from the 10th to the 13th of July. Our guide Jahir took us to different locations every day. We had a city tour of Jaipur where we visited the city palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, Albert Hall museum, Jal Mahal, Panna Meena ka Kind and many other places... Jahir is a really good experienced driver and a nice person. He was always teaching us about the places we were going to visit, giving at the same time advices and waited patiently for us to finish the visits. On our last day we had the chance to meet Janu who is also an experienced traveler. He's such a great person and is respected by his team you can tell that he takes care of everyone including the employees! I would like to thank Janu Private Tour and his team because our stay in Jaipur would not have been the same without them ! Also a special thanks to Jahir ☺️ we hope to see you all again someday.

Wonderful day listening to Jaanu's stories

We ran into Jaanu by accident - We had booked a tour with Elefantastic (highly recommended by the way). As part of that tour, Rahul (the owner of Elefantastic) sent Jaanu to pick us up from the hotel. Jaanu is a very interesting person - raised on the streets of Jaipur, he doesn't know how to read / write - Yet he is one of the most successful businessman in Jaipur tourism industry. He owns tours and travels company, a Hotel for lodging and boarding, and is now opening a high end restaurant. He has already visited 45 countries and has met quite high profile people in his life. It is his character and personality that makes anyone feel comfortable. Now, regarding the tour part - He is very knowledgeable about Jaipur and has a great network in Jaipur. On our day tour, he recommended one guide for us who was really great. Jaanu and his team takes customer service very seriously - They are very patient and did not rush us if we spent more time visiting the forts or doing shopping. I would highly recommend anyone if they want to take a tour / trip with Jaanu and his team

Best experience for happiness!

Manu is the best driver and guide I’ve ever experienced. I was with him for two days (was only supposed to be a half-day but he is so great!) and I am honored to now call him a friend. He is so kind and wants you to be happy with your experience in his city. He has great recommendations on where to go and also good tips for first-time visitors to India. Fantastic day would recommend highly!

Brilliant tour, worth every penny! Not only did I get a comfortable car (with the lovely Jaheel who was very kind and attentive) but I also paid an additional $25 for a tour guide which was worth every penny. My guide Surya was very knowledgeable which made the visits to the sights more enjoyable. He made you feel very comfortable throughout and was great fun to spend the day with. Could not ask for a better day tour, especially as I was a solo female visitor. Without question would use again in the future!!!

Experience of a lifetime

We were blessed to have found Mohammed Rasheed who gave us the experience of a lifetime. He was thoughtful with the time of day to truly capture the Pink city. The best tour company I can imagine!

This Trip was just amazing! The minute I got into Janus car I instantly felt comfortable. He showed me so many things in only one day and I had an unbelievable day. All the time he was friendly, helpful and so funny. He instantly realised what i like and dont like and showed me all the nice places. I only booked one day with him and ended up spending 4 days with Janu and every day was great and he showed some more to experience the city. I'm really happy about this trip and I can reccomend it to everyone to go with Janus company. I also met a few of the other drivers and everyone of them are so nice and sympathic. Pink City Synergy

What a special day touring the Pink City with Janu Tours… We had Surya as our guide and he was superb! He was not only a wealth of information but a beautiful soul which made our day that much more lovely. We also had Jeetu as our driver. His car was a spacious SUV, he was always there waiting after each site we visited, and did an excellent job navigating the traffic chaos! Overall, it was such a wonderful day and we can’t recommend Janu Tours and Surya/Jeeta enough. Highly recommend!

Highly Recommended

We booked the place on booking.com after looking for multiple places that gave us a heritage feel. what is heritage is something you need to decide for yourself, for us it was Janu and his staff being the best hosts we have had so far, it was the hospitality. The place felt super private and personal. Janu and his staff took care of us like family and gave us complete freedom to do what we want and whenever we want. we also met amazing people during our stay and made long time friendships. Janu's cooking staff made Laal Maas especially for us and parathas for breakfast and it was OH SO AMAZING! the team is genuine and will give you the best of deals, experiences and suggestions.

Amazing

It was an amazing experience to tour pink city of Jaipur by auto rickshaw (tuk-tuk); the stay at Marigold Inn which is the homestay provided by Janu tour Jaipur was amazing. The food was superb and delicious. The hospitality by their staff is elegant. Recommended for everyone looking for 2-3 day tour of Jaipur.

Excellent Private tour with Vivek and Bilal

My girlfriend and I used Janu tours during our Xmas trip last year. I spoke to Kamal before we left and despite a few last minute complications (due to another less reliable tour company) on our side he really helped us make the most of our day in Jaipur. Vivek was the tour guide and Bilal the driver. Both were smartly-dressed, punctual, friendly and good fun. Vivek fast-tracked us everywhere, without the tour feeling rushed, and had an encyclopaedic knowledge of all the sights. We also had ample time to explore on our own. Unlike almost every other driver we had during our 3-week trip of India, Bilal drove at a normal speed. We would both highly recommend Janu tours as a reliable and accommodating tour company.

All highlights without stress in just one day in Jaipur!

We generally doesn't take a driver or a guide to see a city from the inside and their highlights but for Jaipur we thought it's maybe a little bit easier to enjoy it. And yes! It was absolutely amazing with Rasheed, he confirmed our thoughts. He was a funny guy and let you decide the speed of way. So you can see the whole highlights of Jaipur in just one day without stress. If you need anything, ask him and he try to realize it. Definitely 5 points (excellent)! Knowledgeable and helpful

Had a full day with guide Kumar who was excellent and full of detailed and good humoured information. Added loads to the day. Driver Shakir was excellent and safe. Really helpful and knowledgeable; we drove to Ranthambore with him the proceeding two days. Lovely, helpful guy.

Full day visit - Jaipur

This tour was well organized, starting with the prompt arrival at the hotel by the driver. We drove to pick up the guide on the way to our first site, stopping several times for photos and explanations of good karma and a wedding elephant. The driver Nadeem and the guide Kumar were both excellent. Mr. Kumar was knowledgeable and flexible in adjusting the tour to our needs!

Incredible day tour that is a must in Jaipur

The day trips provided by Janu and his team were amazing, incredible additions to our trip to Jaipur. The cars were always on time, clean, serviced, ready to go with friendly and courteous drivers at very reasonable rates. Awesome day trip around Jaipur

A great experience. Private driver for the whole day around the sights of Jaipur. Nadeem was great at telling you all about the city as you drove around and he stopped at the main attractions and also made detours according to our specific “must sees”. We would never have seen as much in one day had we used public transport or even Uber. Would definitely recommend. Also used Janu tours for a private transfer from Jaipur to Delhi. It’s a long journey made easier using comfortable transport. Special mention to use Janu’s Marigold Homestay as your accommodation in Jaipur. You will not be disappointed as this offers way more than you would get in a hotel. It’s newly opened so not many reviews but you will LOVE it!

Awesome tour!

My day tour with driver jaheer and guide Akram was fantastic! The car was spacious and new and the guide was very knowledgeable. I saw each place that I wanted to go to and then some! It was a full day of fun and I highly recommend. Worth the price.

Perfect 1 day tour of Jaipur!

Our tour guide Akram Khan and driver Nizam were the most patient and helpful tour guides for the entire day. I would highly recommend Akram as your tour guide as he patiently guided us to each location along with other must-see breathtaking sites along the route. He guided us to the best locations for photos and took our photos for us in each location. We could not have asked for a better experience in Jaipur. In one day, we covered ever major landmark in the city. Would highly recommend Akram and Nizam, would request them again for future tours as well!

Amazing time in Jaipur with January Private Tours

We had an amazing time exploring Jaipur with our guide, Surya. He was very knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and helpful during the entire trip. He made sure we got to visit all places we wished to go, in addition to making stops at some local shops where we could learn about the traditional crafts of Jaipur. Surya explained everything in great details and answered every questions that we had. We found every place we visited very interesting, thanks to the informative explanation from Surya. He also took great photos of us, as he knows all the good spots and right angles. Jeetu, our driver, was also very courteous and accommodating. Great driver and nice one-day adventure!

Our driver Rashid is very friendly and professional. He arrived on time and drove us to all the places as ascribed in the tour agenda. He also brought us to local flower markets where we saw the daily lives of locals, and a wine store as we requested to buy some good indian brand whisky. His english is also good that we communicate without any trouble.

The perfect day in Jaipur with Kumar & Rakesh

Going into our 2 week trip to India for a wedding, we knew we were cutting Jaipur short by only spending 1.5 days in the city. Luckily our one full day was spend with Kumar and Rakesh! Rakesh picked us up promptly from the airport and Kumar guided us through a very full day of sightseeing, which started with beautiful flower necklaces and important tips for our day out. It is clear Kumar knows just about everything as a local of his beloved city, Jaipur. He went above and beyond expectations by crafting the perfect day for our preferences. He knows where to go, the fastest way to get there, and how to get the perfect photo with the right angles and time of day. He’s also very well versed in Jaipur history and culture. For our first day in India, we could not have felt more welcomed or satisfied that we saw all we could. We also really appreciated the short stops for shopping, at our request, as Kumar puts a lot of research into where to purchase, based on customer service, price and quality with no pressure to buy. We both purchased our own carpets and gems that Jaipur is famous for. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to spend with Kumar & Rakesh! We have already passed their names on to several friends who will be visiting the area in coming weeks. Book a tour with them and you will not regret it for a moment. Great Guide

This was the second visit to Jaipur by myself and my daughter. We thought we knew the city quite well, until we booked a days tour with Janu Private Tours. Mr Rashid was a marvel! He showed us hidden aspects of the city we had no idea were there. He was a font of information and knowledge. He didnt stop showing us around for 7 hours! What a great tour with a great guide!(He even let my adult daughter drive his TucTuc!)

Great tour!

My tour guide Mandan and driver Mr Bilel were both excellent! Mandan did a wonderful job of adjusting the itinerary on the fly adding stops at the flower market and a few other places as requested. He is very knowledgeable and is a good story teller which always makes the tours more interesting. The car was immaculate and Mr Bilel was a masterful driver. Thank you both for a wonderful day!

Contacted Janu thought TripAdvisor without much expectation. However, it amazed me with his tour. Smooth picked up and great hospitality by driver MR RAM who speak good English. He wore us out

Great day with Rajesh and Kumar. There was so much to see we couldn’t finish. You’ll love the palaces, forts, elephants, as well as the Hindu, Muslim and British history lesson. It was entertaining and informative

Fantastic trustworthy driver

We utilized Janu tours car and driver service for 3 days and had one day with a privet guide. We met out driver Balal in Agra for a transfer to Jaipur. He was very accommodating we stoped at several sights along the way and he pointed out many interesting things about country life in India. He made several great recommendations for our time in Jaipur and picked out fantastic guides for us at the sites that required them. We decided to use balal’s services again out first day in Jaipur he took us to many great places including the monkey temple and tiger fort for a drink at sunset. On our last day we did a further tour of the city with balal as our diver and a privet tour guide. The privet guide spoke English very well and was easy to understand. He did an excellent job explaining the historic sites of the city and took us to a few off the beaten path locations that turned out to be some of my favorite parts of the city.

Great Tour of Jaipur

Rakesh and Madan were absolutely fabulous! We covered a lot of ground during our time together. Rakesh is a great driver and Madan a great guide!

City tour on Saturday and Purshka visit on Sunday

Very good weekend with Naveen who was very friendly and welcoming ! On Saturday we made a tour of Jaipur and on Sunday we went to Purshka. Naveen was very nice and explained me a lot about what we were visiting. I recommend Naveen to every person who needs to visit Jaipur and feel safe and happy during their trip.

Great tour to get to know Jaipur!

I had a fantastic time on this tour of Jaipur. I was greeted at the airport by Nizam and from there immersed into this beautiful city. Kumar was an outstanding guide, very knowledgeable, friendly and honest. You get to overview the main sites and can avoid the shopping if you want (although I personally liked those as they don’t force you to buy). Overall, thoroughly enjoyed my tour with this group and I hope to come back with a larger group for Kumar and Nizam to show around!

Excellent, Full of Knowledge & Safe company to travel with

It was a last minute trip to Jaipur and Udaipur from Delhi. I had read great reviews of Janu and his team and immediately called him to organise the trip. The call was made the night before of our departure. Janu was friendly and very accommodating. He said that he will send a driver and a taxi to pick us at the airport, when I asked about payment her replied "don't worry about the money you can pay us later, just come to Jaipur and enjoy my city and your trip". Having not paid I was worried that the driver might not be at the airport but surely as promised driver was there and again very polite and friendly. We were picked from our airport and started off on our tour with the driver and our guide. The car was very comfortable, clean and also had wifi for those important Instagram uploads :) Our guide Sher Singh had wealth of knowledge about each and every place we visited. He had a lot of patience and knew all the great angles for pictures.We also noticed that he was well known and respected in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed his company. The following day we had 1/2 a day in hand before we flew to Udaipur and on this day we were privileged to meet Janu who I had only spoken to on the phone until now. He was generous to give us a tour around other places in Jaipur and finally dropped us off at the airport. After his service and meeting his team I asked for recommendation for Udaipur, but once again he was very kind to just organise everything for us in Udaipur. With out double checking any of the organisation we headed to Udaipur.. by this time he had won all our trust. Udaipur trip was just as amazing and once again his team / contact there at Udaipur had ample of knowledge about all the places we visited, I would highly recommend Janu and his team. They were extremely professional yet friendly to make you comfortable on your trip. Since coming back to London, I have recommend Janu and his company to many other people and upon their return they all seem to agree with me and my thoughts about "JANU PRIVATE TOURS"

Shakir is super duper! Informative, safe, custom tour.

I have been traveling solo for two weeks in India. Up to this point, I’ve been walking or taking tuk tuks for get around, thinking having a driver would be too expensive for my budget. Having Shakir as my driver was worth every penny, and in many regards cheaper and easier than going it alone. Shakir knows the roads and sites of Jaipur very well, and gave me frank and honest advice about where to go, where to shop, where to eat. He was respectful on my budget and interests. And nothing beats cold AC and bottled water when entering the car from walking around in the heat. Would 100% recommend Shakir and his team.

Great service

I had only a full day to visit Jaipur. When I realized the size of the city and how hot it was, I decided to hire a car with a driver, and I couldn't have chosen better. Comfortable car with air conditioning and cold water included. Our driver (photo) was extremely friendly, helpful, spoke good English, and gave us tips from all the places we've been to. Highly recommend it!

A fantastic time!

I had a great experience! Janu did all the preliminary planning for me based on what I wanted to do. Nizam was my driver, very respectful and went out of his way to take me where I wanted to go at anytime. My guide, Kumar was absolutely fantastic! I had both of them for two days and they catered to me completely and really gave top notch customer service and went out of their way to make sure I was enjoying every aspect of my trip. Nice tour in Jaipur with Rakesh

"To drive in India you need good horn, good brakes, and good luck!" :) My tour with Rakesh was really interesting. Well organized, he carefully drove through the Jaipur's streets to take me across the different monuments in Jaipur. Each stop he provided good explanations about the monument. I recommend this experience and his company to who decide to visit Jaipur with a private driver. If you want to have detailed information about the monuments while visiting them, than you need also to hire a guide to come together.
