Raj is amazing!

Raj took us on a tour of Jaipur during our week trip in India. We learned many interesting facts about the history, culture and foods of this beautiful city. He was a straight shooter and gave us recommendations and was able to adjust our tour based on our interests. We had four other tours of other cities in India, but Raj’s tour was the top and the standout. Many guides will take you places and can explain culture and religion, but Raj made the tour personable and had little touches that other guides missed. His English was easy to understand (even had a lot of funny jokes!), the pictures and videos he took were super unique and his driver was polite and professional (been working with Raj for over 10 years!!). We’ll never forget the chai and samosas – they were the best ones we have ever had! We’ll definitely ask him to be our guide again when we came back for other Rajasthan cities!

Best tour in Jaipur!!

Raj was the perfect tour guide and host! He was knowledgeable and funny, providing the perfect level between tour and enjoying the monuments. Unfortunately I had to cut the tour short due to Delhi Belly but Raj was so nice and made stops whenever I needed them. Cannot recommend enough! Will definitely be using him when we come back to Rajasthan to plan our trip.

Travelling solo? Go for it!

As a solo female traveller, I wanted someone to not just give me a tour of the places I wanted to visit but also click pictures for the keeps. Raj sir was kind enough to take plenty of good clicks while also explaining things in detail. While they also have their own set of places, I had customized it suiting my priority places. The best part was he never hastened to jump from one place to another and let me explore the places as per my convenience. If you are travelling as a solo-female, don't hesitate much and book this tour without worrying about anything!

Raj is the best!

We found Raj through Tripadvisor as we were desperate to find a reliable and knowledgeable tour guide. We were not disappointed. We had the most amazing day touring all the best parts of Jaipur and beyond. Raj and his driver picked us up from the hotel in their spotless clean car on time. Raj has a warmth and energy that radiates and created such a nice atmosphere for the day. His knowledge of the history of Jaipur and far beyond was excellent and was able to answer all the questions we had for him. Raj was very accommodative and asked us if there was any specific places we wanted to visit to do some shopping. He took us to some very cool places for rugs, textiles and diamonds that I can guarantee you will never find without him! We even got to experience some street food and kulfi ice cream along with some local chai, something we were reluctant to do on our own through fear of becoming ill. Rajesh was one of the best guides we have had in India. He took us to the main highlights and some "secret places too"as he is local from the city. Everything well explained and even with some nice jokes in the way. We enjoyed it around Jaipur and helped to take some beautiful pictures. Stoped at the end at a painting shop, but because we asked it for, not forced :) Thank you for the nice day around your city!

A memorable Jaipur tour

As a first time visitor to India and navigating Delhi solo, I decided to book a private tour with Raj for Jaipur. It was a good decision because Raj is friendly, hospitable, and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the tour at Amber Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Jantar Mantar, and City Palace. I learned a lot about the intricate history of Jaipur. Although there are only 5 sites listed, Raj is open to tailor the itinerary based on what you’re interested in. The tour ends with a treat and I got to try kachori and chai. Pro tip: if you’re looking for someone to take photos in the best spots in Jaipur, definitely choose Raj!

What an amazing city! Jaipur has so much to offer that it is impossible to try this city on your own. Raj will custom make your schedule to ensure you visit what you want and hope you want. He truly knows and loves this city and can’t wait to share with you everything! This trip/tour was the highlight of my entire two week stay in India. Amazing Jaipur Trip

While working on the itinerary for our trip to Jaipur, and during our search for a local guide, we came across Rajesh Kumawat through Trip Advisor. It was the best decision we made when we contacted him for this trip. He gave us all the right advice and recommendations for our visit to Jaipur. Rajesh ensured and took us to each of the landmarks, palaces, forts and hidden gems we could have missed if we had not connected with him. And through his suggestion we even got a chance to visit Ranthambore during this trip. Also, before we went to Jaipur, we visited Agra, where Rajesh arranged a good local guide and driver via Mr. Naveen. Special thanks to our assigned driver Chand Khan and knowledgeable guide Balbir Singh who not only gave us the history of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort but also took us to a good local shop where we understood the craftsmanship behind marble carvings and were able to purchase good quality marble handicraft. Rajesh Kumawat is very experienced and quite popular (we felt as if half of Jaipur knew him), yet very humble and extremely professional. Rajesh Bairwa our assigned driver for the trip was equally kind, extremely punctual and very helpful. The tour guides assigned by Rajesh Kumawat for the monuments and landmarks came across as experts and explained every detail passionately. Special mention for PK Meena who was our guide in Jantar Mantar and explained the science behind every instrument in detail and made it easy to understand. With that being said, we certainly enjoyed the history of Amer Fort and the lovely sunset at Nahargarh Fort. Apart from the monuments, Rajesh and his team suggested some of the best restaurants where we relished the local food and took us to the finest shops & emporiums to buy local curios and antiques. The staff at all these recommended places were equally professional, polite, and not pushy at all. All in all, this was one of our best anniversary trips so far and would not have been as amazing without Rajesh. Thank you so much Rajesh and team for this amazing and memorable trip. We would certainly recommend anyone who is visiting Jaipur to connect with Rajesh Kumawat for a hassle-free and unforgettable Rajasthan tour.

Truly an amazing amazing tour. We cannot recommend our tour of Jaipur with Raj enough. Jaipur is a beautiful city and the tour covers all the main attractions, the amber palace is beautiful, along with the historic city palace and the fascinating Jantar Mantar. Having a driver, which is provided with the tour, is essential to traverse the complex and busy streets of Jaipur. The car also comes with plenty of water for the day. However, without doubt the best part of this tour is the guide Raj. He is a consummate prefessional, as well as immensely informative and unbelievably welcoming. Raj's knowledge of Jaipur goes above and beyond that of a normal tour guide, with his knowledge of wonderful restaurants and the complex history of the city, past and present. Raj took stunning photos for us, at our request, in all of the best locations. He took us to a local restaurant for lunch, eating the best meals side by side with locals. He helped us exchange currency, negotiating the best rates for us with cashier's. He even gave us change for the WC when we needed it. We had a captivating time in Jaipur, in no small part to Raj and his limitless hospitality. If you are in Jaipur I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Amazing tour of Jaipur with the absolute best tour guide, Rajesh Kumar Kumawat. Day started off with a lassi on Raj, which was amazing. We then crafted a custom itinerary based on Rajs recommendations and our own preference. Raj is extremely knowledgeable and well connected in the city of Jaipur. His tour of Jantar Mantar was astonishingly scientific and really blew us away. All of the sites were amazing and enhanced by Rajs expert explanations and answers. 100% recommend Raj and his English was absolutely fluent. Friendly expertise!

This guide totally exceeded my expectations! The site were fabulous, but the knowledge of the guide was what really made it better. I loved the observatory (it was the surpruse of the day!) and he was able to demonstrate how all of the instruments worked. We did several major sites, then he customized my day by finding out what I wanted to do, shop for, eat, etc. Highly recommend.

Wonderful day

Loved our day tour of Jaipur! We were able to see all of the sights we wanted to and learn all about them. Raj was amazing at taking our photos too and knew all the good spots. He recommended a good local restaurant for lunch and bought us some local sweets to try throughout the day. Had a relaxed comfortable and educational experience with our guide Vivek and kind driver Rajesh. Vivek customized our trip from the list of top sites as well as some of our personal requests. He was extremely knowledgeable and communicated well with us in English language. Perfect tour for one day in Jaipur

Or driver Rajesh and guide, Madan, took great care of us during this trip. We said we didn't have much time, and they still showed us everything in less time than needed. Madan told us exciting things and took us to many beautiful photo points. They also helped us a lot with the shopping that we needed. The car was immaculate and comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Brilliant guide for jaipur

We only stayed in Jaipur for 1 day, but we were lucky enough to have Rajesh as our guide. He was brilliant! He met us at our guest house, with his car and driver and took us on a fabulous tour of Jaipur including the Palace of the Winds, Jantar Mantar (the observatory - Raj really new his facts about this attraction), the Royal Cenotaph, a stepwell and finally the magnificent Amber Fort. The fort was spectacular. Rajesh also arranged our transfer to Agra that ran very smoothly. He even directed our driver to the most fantastic stepwell in India - the Chand Baori at Abhaneri. I would recommend Rajesh to anybody needing a guide in this part of India.

Fantastic day, AMAZING guide Rajesh!

This was an absolutely fantastic tour with Rajesh. He was soooooo knowledgeable and took us to the main sires in Jaipur. Our time was limited but it never felt rushed! Visiting the Worlds oldest sundials and astronomy was amazing as was the pink palace and fort. The whole day was amazing! If you want the BEST guide in Jaipur, go with Rajesh. I would unreservedly recommend him to you!

Wonderful experience

Very wonderful tour. We stopped at many different places but one thing that was super cool is that we could customize the trip. I had mentioned that I wanted to see the blue room at the City Palace, so we made time to see it. One thing I will add but I’m not going to take points off because it’s a bit of a thing I’ve noticed with tour guides in India is that they take you to different shopping places to help their shop friends make money off tourists. The vendors he goes to weren’t that pushy and tended to have better quality items then other places I’ve been too and he was super honest about getting commission for the items. Overall, wonderful experience and great photographer.

Very informative and well planned tour !

The full day tour of Jaipur was extremely fun and educative. The pick up from our hotel in Jaipur was on time and then we made our way from one spot to the other starting from Hawa Mahal, followed by Jantar Mantar and the City palace, after which we stopped for lunch and got to feast on delicious Rajasthani cuisine at TVG. After lunch we proceeded to Amer Fort and Sheesh Mahal, and finally ended with a drive-by past Jal Mahal. Apart from the beauty of the place and the breathtaking sights from Amer Fort, the guide Mr Ramesh Chauhan was very professional and well-informed of trivia and all the interesting facts one should know about these beautiful places. There is a science and history behind these architectural wonders and he made us see the city through the eyes of the kings who ruled over it. We stopped by places where we could shop for some Rajashthani jewelry and clothes. All in all, it was a pleasurable experience by an extremely customer-friendly guide and driver,

I visited Jaipur for a 2 day tour with Rajesh ( 9828057722 ) as my guide. And i must say he is a great tour guide. He had knowledge about each and every location and also about what time of the day to visit them. He showed us around the city quite skillfully, saving us time and maximizing enjoyment. He had connections all over city and even arranged for us a place to stay at the last minute in Sikar city. The food joints he took us to were amazing. He even asked for our well being during next part of our journey, when his service with us were over. I highly recommend him as a tour guide.

I was travelling with 2 under 10 kids, and I am sure everyone here understands how difficult it is to match their energy and keep them entertained. Their questions come out of nowhere and they wanna head everywhere….OMG. Thanks to Mr.Rajesh, our tour guide for a day’s outing/sightseeing in Jaipur. He kept the children engaged and on their toes for entire 10-11 hours he was with us. His intellect, patience, knowledge, kids and adults handling skill is simply superb. He was ready to answer all the questions coming either from the kids or from me, his answers were precise and bang on. And all the ocean of knowledge that he shared with our kids was age specific. All through the day, there wasn’t a single moment where he kind of ignored us or was irritated by the kids questions. I would personally recommend him to everyone who would like to see Jaipur with Mr.Rajesh undoubtedly. He deserves 5 stars for his top notch service and expertise with tourists.

Best experience - trip to Jaipur

Our trip to Jaipur was very pleasant because of our guide Mr. Raj. He welcomed us at the airport with pink rose flowers as we entered the pink city. It was a big surprise for us. He not only guided us in the entire trip, but also entertained us throughout the trip. Further he also recommended us the best restaurants for lunch and dinner.
