Janu Tours are the tour company for small group/private tours. The number on the website is Janu himself, and as soon as you get talking to him you will know you're in good hands. He's enthusiastic, professional and so very helpful. I was lucky to have him personally for the tours around the city, and they went perfectly with stops at the main sites and lots of useful little detours to the local areas (on request!). Can't recommend enough.

Excellent tours off the beaten track and knowledgeable, friendly and professional guides

We just used Janu Private Tours to get the most out of a few days in Jaipur. Our guide, Naveen, was fantastic. He is so accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable and his English is excellent. He took us to a few key attractions and a number of lesser known places (including the best Lassi in town!). He also took us to great businesses when we wanted to do some shopping, e.g. a block printing factory for high quality clothes. I highly recommend Janu Private Tours. They are happy to take you wherever you want to go and will show you the best of Jaipur.

Amazing!

Choosing Janu Private tours was the best decision for our trip to Jaipur. Our driver Mr Jaheer was very reliable, helpful and knowledgeable and took us to all the places we wanted to visit. We now look forward to exploring the rest of Rajasthan with Janu's private tours.

Well organized and friendly experience

Krishnan was a wonderful guide and Rakesh was an excellent driver that made us feel very safe as we toured many historical sights all across Jaipur. Thank you for such a nice experience! I would highly recommend this tour to other travelers.

Jaipur visit with a private driver

Janu assisted us in getting a really good driver to take us to all the places we wanted over 2 days. Janu was super quick and kind. Our Driver Ayub was so calm and very helpful. He also was an amazing driver too. Janu and Ayub really took care of us and ensured all of our criteria was met. We were so lucky to stumble across Janu. Jaipur, Udaipur tour

My husband and I were so lucky to Jano plan our trip to Jaipur and Udaipur. We had a wonderful experience with a list of things to do and places to visit especially designed to our interests. Amazing tour of Jaipur with clean cars and safe drivers

We had an amazing tour of Jaipur city from historical sites like Amberd palace and fort to some of the best food and shopping. The car we were driven in was clean and comfortable and the drivers so cool. Their knowledge and connections of Jaipur is unmatched. This is a great experience for couples families and solo travels. We absolutely loved our time and are so grateful

An amazing way to discover and enjoy Jaipur

Both the tour guide [Rakesh] and the driver [Surya] were really good. Rakesh was extremely knowledgeable about all the sites, the monuments and anything related with Jaipur in particular, and India in general, but also fun and entertaining. As an example: his insight on Jaipur helped us avoid a massive traffic jam. He had a clear and well planned schedule, but was also flexible when needed, which made the day really enjoyable. And he was always happy to answer questions, no matter if they were about architecture or history or traditions. Totally recommend them.

Highly recommend!

We did a private day tour of Jaipur, including Amer Fort, City Palace, and Hawa Mahal. We loved this tour. Our guide Surya was super knowledgeable about everything we came across and answered our most esoteric questions. It was a pleasure to spend the day with him. It felt like we were hanging with a friend rather than being led by a tour guide. Our driver was Mr. Jaheer and he would join our conversations while driving between the stops. He was hilarious and was a fun addition to our group. Highly recommend this tour!

Informative, well run, fun tour by Surya

We did a full day tour of Jaipur with Surya (Tour Guide) and Jeetu (Driver) and it was a blast! Surya is incredibly knowledgeable and an excellent storyteller, at every place we visited he told the story of its history in a very compelling way and could answer any questions we had. It's clear he loves what he does. He and Jeetu were also incredibly considerate hosts and customized our tour based on our interests and needs. It felt more like exploring with a friend who knows all the cool spots rather than a typical tour guide. Big thanks to Surya and Jeetu for being so awesome P.S. Try to hit the road early as Jaipur traffic is no joke!

Jaipur sightseeing and Ranthambore dropoff

We were with 4 wonderful days for Mr Rakesh, our driver, in this tour that was arranged by India Someday (who we would also strongly recommend). Mr Rakesh is well connected. Thank you, Mr Rakesh, for all your hospitality and driving us through all the traffic. We were traveling with family of 4 adults and one child. Good to pair this tour with just a little independent research about where you want to go for sightseeing and shopping. We would recommend.

Authentic Jaipur Experience

Absolutely wonderful experience! The driver was very knowledgeable about roads to we were rarely stuck in traffic and the guide was extremely proficient in Jaipur history. Very fun and educational experience that taught us so much about the history of Jaipur. If you are looking to tour Jaipur, this is the only way to do it.

Best tour best company

Great tour

I could see much of Jaipur in one day, Vivek was the guide and gave me a lot of explanations as we were passing by the places in fort, city palace and others. The food at the restaurant was also very good. Car was comfortable, and the driver Naveen, drove very safely, despite of the heavy traffic in Jaipur. Excellent

You just jave to meet Janu I swear. He wont try to sell anything and at the same time he will provide anything you need. Many times he wont even take money or ask for bellow avetage price. Not only did he organize a great tour for us - he saved us when we messed up with trains, got us a new ticket, let us stay in his hotel for no extra charge. Most trustworthy man in Jaipur.

A great day out with Hitesh

Had an amazing time exploring the city of Jaipur with Hitesh. Hes an extremely knowledgable guide and such a great character. The trip felt like a day out with a friend and you can see how passionate ge is about what he does. Hands down made my time in jaipur and would highly recommend.

Amazing day in a tuktuk driven by Hitesh, an absolute legend!

We had an amazing day with Hitesh driving us around in his tuktuk and showing us so many beautiful places. He brought us through the pink city and to an elephant village which was so much fun and such a great experience. The best part of the tour tho was definitely Hitesh's company, his fantastic energy will make anyone smile and laugh! I couldn't recommend this trip with Hitesh enough as by the end of it we all said that the day we spent with Hitesh was our favourite day in India so far!

Best guide experience

This full day Jaipur tour with Surya and Rakesh was the best guide experience of our trip. Highly recommended!! Surya was extremely knowledgeable and made the history come alive in interesting and entertaining ways. He didn’t just recite a string of facts or ramble for ages (like some guides). Despite the blistering heat he never gave the impression (again, like other guides did) that he had somewhere better to be, or was doing us a favor.

Day tour in Jaipur

'We cannot just wandering around the city without knowing its incredible stories behind" This thought had came acrossed to me before we decided to book the tour with Janu. The company provided us itinerary perfectly for our time slots and with reasonable price. And on the tour date, we felt like we won the lottery! We had Surya as our guide and Nadeem as our driver for the full-day tour hitting many famous spots in Jaipur. They were incredibly attentive, and knowledgeable especiaiily for Surya. He patiently brought us to each place with very insight historical information and with his magnificent photography skill. Most amazing thing was he explained the functions of each astrology building in Jantar Manar in very easy-to-understand way. He never pushed us in rush, but gave us as much time as we need to see and absorb the beauty of each place. They made our first day in India so memorable. You wouldn't want to miss these men when visitting Jaipur, highly recommended!!

Amazing Day Tour in Jaipur

We had a wonderful time with our guide (Mr. Vivek) and our driver (Mr. Ayub). The tour was very informative and the guide was extremely professional. The attractions are breathtaking and it is hard not to think Jaipur is the real jewel of India.

We booked this tour from the U.S. and everything worked out perfectly with communications with the tour company, timeliness and professionalism. The city is incredible with a lot of beautiful sites to see and it was nice to have a good guide and an excellent driver.

Great experience in Jaipur

I booked this tour from the USA six months ago. Everything worked out perfectly. The guide (Mr. Surya) and the driver (Mr Ayub Khan) were very professional, friendly, and patient. We took longer than usual in each site we visited and this was never a problem. It makes planning and logistics a lot easier having a good English speaking guide.

great tour!

Great tour! Nadeem the driver was very nice and chatty and even helped me make my next appointment when the tour was over. Surya the guide was very knowledgeable, gave a nice, deep dive into the city and its main historical attractions. For me, coming to a city like Jaipur without some historical context seems a waste, so it was great to have him fill in the gaps and tell the story in a way you can piece the various bits together. Also, the restaurant for lunch was nice, with a cute kid who did some dancing for tips. Thanks everyone!

overpriced tour

This was supposed to be an 8 hour tour but it ended after 6 hours and that included lunch time and a visit to a commercial print factory/ showroom. Our guide Surya was knowledgeable and pleasant. We just felt the tour was overpriced for what was included and we could have done without the visit to the fabric store.

Enjoyable & informative full day touting Jaipur with Suriya. Great stories of the history of the city & palaces from a Jaipur native with a good sense of humour. Jaipur is a fascinating city & well worth spending a least a day to explore.

Great way to see highlights of Jaipur

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Jaipur's historical buildings and fort. Kamal is a friendly, calm and knowledgeable guide and our driver Jeetu's chilled and humorous character added to a great day. An excellent lunch recommendation too and no attempts to push shops or sales on us.

Awesome tour by Mr Surya. Detailed explanation of all the attractions and he customized our trip based in what we wanted to do. The ambassador car that he brought to pick us up and take us around the city was a great addition. I highly recommend this private tour.

Janu was an exceptional tour guide for our full day private tour of Jaipur, India. He was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the city and was able to answer all of our questions with ease. He was also very accommodating, making sure that we saw everything we wanted to see and adjusting the itinerary based on our preferences. Janu was also very friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout the tour. Overall, we had an amazing experience with Janu and would highly recommend him and his company to anyone visiting Jaipur. 12/10 would recommend.

A great tour

We had a great time with our guide Surya and driver Naveen. It seemed Surya was able to answer just about any question we had and was able to go in to detail when we wanted to know a bit more. He was also super professional and friendly. Naveen drove very well and was quite careful (which really is a rarity on indian roads). We felt super comfortable with them the entire time. I have no problem recommending them or Janu tours to my friends and family.

Went on the 8 hour tour through Jaipur with guide Surya who was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took us all around the city to various historical sights, told us about each place in great detail and went out of his way to make this memorable experience. We also stoped and drank some local chai and som food. The driver Naveen was always ready to pick us up when we wanted to see the next attraction and drove carfefully. Pink City

Janu went above and beyond to provide a memorable experience for my group and I. Really great insight about the city and it’s culture. Bonus: he helped us out the day after when we had an emergency after our flight was cancelled. So helpful and kind !!!

Best tour guide ever

Janu was the greatest Tour guide one could ever ask for! Him and his partner were so knowledgeable of the entire city and it’s culture, buildings, and fun facts. Not only did they teach our group so much about Jaipur, they made sure that we got to see it all too! Lunch was so delicious and it was delicious included in the tour. The jeep ride to the Amber fort was one of the best parts of the whole tour! Then when we were getting a little tired they were able to get us in and out of the shops quickly but still gave us plenty of time to shop. The bus was fantastic and they provided water, beer, soda, and it was so much fun! Our group was 14 people so it was a lot of fun having him and his partner shuffle us around! The next day after our tour we were supposed to fly out of Jaipur to Surat, but our flight got canceled out of nowhere and we were in desperate need to get clothes for a wedding we were attending in Surat. We called up Janu, he woke up for us, and came and got us from the airport and then took us to a shop that he had open just for us! He is such an incredibly nice person and I will definitely be recommending him to my sister who is coming to Jaipur next year for a trip! If you go to Jaipur, you have to see it with Janu! He rocks

Fantastic driver and tour guide

Great tour from Janu Private Tours. Mr Jeetu was our driver who picked us up from out hotel in a classic car. Mr Jeetu was so friendly and was always smiling, he was a great driver and offered excellent advice and services. He accompanied us to the Atm on a few occasions and had great communication at all times offering to take us anywhere we wanted any time. Mr Surya was out tour guide in Jaipur, he was very knowledgeable, kind and friendly with fantastic English too. Ask Mr Surya a question he will have the answer! I would recommend both for a tour of Jaipur. Great service from both. We decided to use Mr Jeetu to travel to Agra and then Delhi and was very happy with his services always felt safe and his friendliness and smiles helps you get through the hours of driving. We had a few more guides along the route from Jaipur to Delhi and they were also great with knowledge and friendliness. To get that extra star to a 5 star rating I think Janu Private Tours should reconsider (like all the tours) taking the customers to local shops where you are pushed to buy a local souvenir. Please make these optional 🙂 also tour guides should protect their clients more from people approaching like beggars and street hawkers etc overall a great service! 🙂

Well organized and thorough

Well organized tour with thorough information and history! Just the right amount of time to cover the key sights with flexibility for exploration, photos and questions. Guide very knowledgeable and driver handled transport in safe and comfortable way. Good car. Restaurant for lunch was ok (not too pricey and options seemed fine). Really appreciated the flexibility of the guide to engage at my speed and interests. I learned so much!

Perfect day

We had the most amazing tour with Janu and his team. We are two women on our own and couldn’t of felt safer. We booked the tour where all the tickets and lunch was included. We where greeting with a necklace made of pink roses and then we saw all the major sights. We had a local guide tell us about the history as well as janu himself driving us. We had a delicious lunch and where then taken to a fabric factory where we ended up buying a rand made carpet and made to measure dresses. At the end of the tour Janu took us to his restaurant we was about to open. He has built an Incredible empire and should be very proud of himself. We could not recommend Janu enough! Thank you.

Wonderful day tour of Jaipur

We had a wonderful day on this tour and would highly recommend! Saw all of the great sites in Jaipur and lunch was some of the best Indian food we had on our whole 2 week trip. Mr Jeetu was our driver for the day and was friendly, on time, and had a really nice car. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and took a ton of great photos for us. We were comfortable and taken care of all day. Definitely worth the value!

Great experience in Jaipur

I had an amazing day tour in Jaipur with Mr.Vivek (tour guide) and Mr.Nizam (Driver). Everyone are very and helpful throughout the day and taking a good care of me. The tour is very flexible (since it’s private tour) and you can adjust your itinerary as time allows. I also visited Panna Meena Ka Kund which is not on the itinerary and it was amazing! Mr.Vivek is very knowledgeable and fun guy. I really enjoyed spending a day tour with him. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who want to get the most out of Jaipur in one day!

Dedicated professionals at Janu Private Tours

I was arranging the visit to Jaipur well in advance with Mr. Khan, the founder of the company. Always prompt in responding, he gave me the right suggestions for the day - both before the trip and when I arrived in Jaipur. On the day of the tour, Mr. Surya was my guide. He must have toured the scenic city of Jaipur a thousand times before, but was very keen to show it to me at its best. He would adjust to my pace, offered options and suggestions, and he put all information on the history of the city in a good context. It was only at the very end of the all-day tour that he apologized for checking his cell phone more frequently: It was his birthday and there were many well-wishers trying to reach him. Nevertheless, he showed a 100 per cent dedication and helped me leave Jaipur with great memories.

Fantastic and fulsome view of Jaipur!

We had a very fulfilling experience. Our driver (Mr. Jaheer) and guide (Shar Singh) were very thoughtful, knowledgeable and kind. They gave us a very comprehensive tour of Jaipur from the grand history to the intricate craftmakers. We really enjoyed our experience!
