Wanted history, not shopping.

We had Harmin as our guide, he was very informative but we felt that his main goal was to take us to merchants who were trying to sell us their wares. His English wasn’t great and we could only understand 40% of the information he was giving us but from what we could understand it was interesting information. We should have asked him to speak more slowly and clearly but we didn’t want to offend. We realised very quickly into the day that we were being taken to places that we were expected to buy things he could gain commission from, we informed him we weren’t interested in this and just wanted to see the sights of Jaipur and learn its history and as soon as we did this it was very apparent he had lost interest and made us feel like we were being cheap despite paying a good price for the tour and just wanting to enjoy the history of Jaipur. After Amber fort we asked to be taken somewhere for a light meal as we had a cooking class in the evening. Of course we got dropped at a recommended restaurant where it was all main course meals at a hiked up tourist price, we walked straight back out. Overall the information was good but we didn’t appreciate the expectation to purchase souvenirs over the wanting to learn about the rich history of Jaipur. Other tour companies we have been with frown upon this type of predatory behaviour and you should too.

Highly recommended

Mr. Vinod organised 2 lovely day trips - first day was local places in a tuk-tuk and the second day was all the mountain forts in a cab and it was organised so well. The response time, the scheduling, vehicle neatness, drivers' service and the knowledge they have - everything was top notch. The price was also very reasonable. Definitely recommended!

Vinod ‐ the man, the myth, the legend

An amazing day out. Vinod was a top guy. Took us to all the main attractions like the floating palace, Amber palace and Maha Mawal whilst giving us lots of information on each place. He also took us to a selection of great local spots for food as well as opportunities to browse jewellery, spices and textiles. He kept us laughing the whole day and made our trip to Jaipur one of the best stops on our trip

Helpful guide

Vinod was extremely attentive and keen to please. Preferences where taken care of and time was made to take photos and relax as needed. Vinod's good English and knowledge was helpful. He also arranged his uncle to drive me on guided tours in an air-conditioned car to places of my choice. He also was abliging and an excellent driver. I believe everything was fairly priced.

Nice and friendly tour

We took a tour and it was really nice. The driver nicknamed "Antonio Banderas" was very helpful, he helped us find tickets for our next destination and showed us all the touristic places in the city. We asked him for local places to eat and he delivered. Overall a very nice experience

We had the most fantastic day with Vinod. He took us to all the beautiful spots in Jaipur, and showed us places to buy beautiful jewellery and textiles. Great Tour!

Vinod and his drivers supported us throughout our time in Jaipur. They not only toured us around the city but also gave us tips on how to navigate on our own, adjust to Jaipur's norms, and ideas of what to do beyond their tours. It was reassuring to have them as resources as we explored the city and area. The tour guides are very skilled with English- they were able to answer the questions we had, including those about specific historical and cultural topics. The tours themselves allow you to see much of Jaipur and the drivers are cognizant of your needs. They ensure you stay hydrated with safe water, fed at quality and local restaurants, and adjust the schedule as needed to get you out of the sun. I enjoyed my time in Jaipur, and Vinod and his drivers were essential to making that happen.

Great insider knowledge

Our tour guide Vinod was great. We spent multiple days with him during our weeklong stay in India, and he helped ensure we didn't miss important sites while here. He provided us with insider knowledge, and went above-and-beyond to create a good experience for us. He met us at the airport with traditional flower garlands, took photos for us at different spots, and even helped coordinate our trip to Aggra (4+hrs away from our hotel) with his company and connections. He gave us experiences as a local resident we could never have imagined or gotten otherwise.

Great find and wonderful guide.

Vinod grabbed us outside our hotel but we enjoyed his company so much that we let him be our guide and logistics engineer for two whole days. His English is really good and his knowledge of Jaipur is great. We wanted to buy fabrics and jewellery and he knew the best places to go to. He was very honest about getting a small commission and we didn’t mind because we felt he took us to places where we got good value. Finding a Tuk Tuk driver with good English is a rarity, so don’t let them palm you off on someone else. Go Vinod.

Explore Jaipur with Vinod!

Vinod is really helpful and speaks excellent English. Being in Jaipur I wanted to buy a cotton durrie and the famous blue pottery he knew exactly where to take me and also has Tuk Tuk or car for your sight seeing and exploring! We also used his services to travel from Jaipur to delhi. The car was clean and driver was excellent and is very reasonable. Would highly recommend for your stay in Jaipur!

Safe, reliable and fun

Ravi and Vinod were great. They took care of our group for 2 full days and gave us a full local experience besides touring all the popular sights. We felt safe being driven and toured around by locals. They also accommodated our requests, so we could spend time with what we wanted to do most. This was our first Tuk Tuk experience and we even had them setup an airport ride in a Tuk Tuk! I will definitely get in touch again when we get back to Jaipur. It was our favorite city in our India trip and we believe that Ravi and Vinod were a big reason why! Thank you and see you soon 🥰

Incredible India!

We had Ravi drive us around Jaipur in a Tuk Tuk. We visited the Amber Fort, Jaighur Fort, City Palace and Jantar Mantar. It was a beautiful trip with a lot of excitement. Ravi and the team know the city well and help you feel secure on your trip. They give advice on when and when not to accept tour guides at monuments (some are scams). We really felt safe with them. We had a great time and Ravi was a great guide during the trip. We also had them drop us off at the airport for a great price. We really enjoyed our trip to Jaipur and this incredible city filled with palaces and friendly faces. Incredible India!

I was so incredibly lucky to meet Vinod on a short trip in 2019. He looked after my friend and I so well on that holiday and now anytime I come to India, I contact him and do everything via Rajasthan India Tour Driver. Friendly, professional, reliable and safe

I had the most fantastic week in Jaipur and it was made even more special by Vinod and his other drivers at Rajasthan India Tour Driver. He listened to all i wanted to see and do in Jaipur and surrounds, which he listened to and i saw all of this and even more. He was even able to organise a leopard safari for me last minute which i appreciated so much (one of my highlights). I couldn't have asked for a more trustworthy, respectful guide. His vehicle is very comfortable and clean and his prices very good. I was wanting to do some shopping while in Jaipur and Vinod knew all the places to take me that would not rip me off. I have been coming to India for many years and knew that the prices i was given and the quality was very good. Enjoyed a lot

Amazing 7 days of my life..Vinod planned everything perfectly. Our driver Nizam was perfect companion for the trip. He was caring and accommodative. Eventually we felt he is one of us. All the guides exceeded our expectations. They spoke very good english and they really wanted us to know the history behind each stunning views. I got to drive the Rickshaw!

Lovely guy, great English and lots of local knowledge, much more than just reeling off facts and figures. We only needed to pop into Jaipur for some shopping but he was able to assist with everything and was a pleasure to be around. He also let me drive the TukTuk/Rickshaw which was very fun!

Tour of India all planned

We took a multi-city and day tour from Delhi to Agra and ended in Jaipur. It was a great experience having transportation completely worked out and a schedule Vinod helped us put together. I would strongly suggest anyone to sign up and take the tours to get a great experience in India. Vinod was extremely communicative and easy to reach the entire time.

Best guide and driver for Rajasthan

Vinod and his hospitality was incredible. He was with us every step of the way through Rajasthan from Jodhpur > Udaipur > Jaipur with a fantastic team of guides and drivers. He was so incredibly responsive, always making sure we were safe and happy with services and gave great recommendations. We planned everything on the fly and his flexibility was incredible. For a safe, reliable and excellent tour operator with great drivers and guides - look no further! Special mention to Ali and Sailesh in Jaipur who were excellent.

Convenience, speed, value...very worthwhile!

We originally hired Vinod just for car transfer service between Jaipur and other sites including Agra but we quickly realized how indispensable his services were -- if you've never been to India, be prepared for quite a challenge getting around the city. Yes tuk-tuks and Uber are everywhere and cheap. However the traffic is chaos and even the pick-up and drop-off can be problematic because the spot may not be convenient (we had so many Uber drivers drop us off away from the spot we wanted because they simply didn't want to be bothered with the traffic). Enter the solution: Vinod and private car. We ended up calling him last minute for a day tour. The benefits of a personal car and guide/driver cannot be overstated in a mad traffic city like Jaipur. Vinod will personalize the itinerary to whatever sites you want to visit, he and the driver will take you there and most importantly: pick you up exactly at the same spot they drop you off. No hassles, no worries, communication is fast and easy via WhatsApp. We realized this only when we arrived and booked a day tour last minute and he was immediately available to accommodate. The price is so worth it that to not do so would be foolish.

Vinod's tour and driver in Rajasthan was excellent, attentive, flexible and very safe.

Vinod was very responsive and flexible with any schedule changes we requested. He supplied guides in the cities we requested to have guides, and didn't press us to get guides in places we preferred to wander without in depth explanations. At all hours both before and during the tour, Vinod was always available and responsive through WhatsApp. We had dietary restrictions (lactose intolerance) which he made sure were followed. He set us up with Ajay Singh, who was our driver for the week. Ajay was an excellent driver, we felt safe despite the truly crazy Indian roads and driving style. The car was clean and comfortable for four people in addition to the driver, with one person in the third row seat, two in the middle and one next to the driver. It wasn't comfortable when we tried to sit three people in the seat behind the driver, legroom was too tight. Bottled water was provided throughout, and Ajay assisted us with ATMs, local sim purchase, and instructed us on how to stay safe when we asked to wander the city on our own with local tuk tuks. Ajay Singh was always patient and helpful, but never hovering when we ate family meals. We had some excellent guides, especially outstanding was Maharaj Ali in Fatephur Sikri. Don't miss that site, and do ask for Maharaj. He was knowledgeable, interesting, and responsive. Some guides weren't as good, and Vinod was attentive to comments.

Exceptional Cab Service by Vinod!

We a family of 2 wanted to visit Rajasthan and did not have a clue on how to manage the logistics part. then i came across Rajasthan India Tour driver. I went through all the reviews and decided to give Vinod a chance. I called Vinod and shared my travel plan of visiting Jaipur/Jodhpur and Udaipur. He promised a good car( Innova Crysta) and a driver and decided to go with Vinod. We landed in Jaipur and the car was there to pick us. A guide was provided for Jaipur and he was very helpful and very knowledgeable. The driver(Manish) was with us for the 8 day trip which was very helpful. Manish was very patient and accommodative with our requests and took us to the authentic shopping places which helped us to cut down on time. I would definitely recommend to use Vinod's services if you need a cab in Rajasthan as he has very reliable drivers and the car condition was good.

Great local knowledge of sites, tailors and restaurants

Vinod knows Jaipur very well and brought us to some nice, quiet, beautiful sites. He also knows a great quality tailors. And he brought us to delicious local vegetarian, small restaurants.

One of a kind tour

We had an amazing experience, all we wanted to do and see was made available so smoothly. You will get genuine good advice, and get to see some hidden gems, not necessarily to be found in your classic touristic guide. Foodies will be happy to be taken to excellent small venues to get some proper Indian food. When back in India, will defenitely resort to his service again.

What an amazing adventure our Koala Lovers group experienced with Vinod and Mr Khan. They saved us from our flight being canceled to Dharamshala, Vinod to the rescue by organising a bus to take us there for the next evening safely and full of wonderful experiences of India. Then we finally met up with a beautiful greeting of smiles and marigold lays welcoming us in Jaipur with Vinod and Mr. Khan. They organised the most colorful journey catering to all the fun adventures to see and experience beautiful India. Temples, markets, handcraft shops, music, dancing, and ancient buildings discuss their history and culture. We had the pleasure to go on an amazing journey with Vinod and Mr Kahn, at any time you saw something amazing they would stop for you to take photos or share stories with the locals in the community.
