Great way to experience Jaipur

Our guide for the day was Archet. The bikes and helmets were in good repair. They took a moment to orient us and make sure that the bikes were adjusted well for us. We did a few fun activities in the city, including feeding some of the cows which wander the city. Archet let us decide whether we wanted to just bike around the city, or whether we wanted to make the ride up to Nahargarh Fort. We chose the fort. Be aware that this is an extremely steep ride. All three of us in our group ended up pushing our bikes a good portion of the way. However, arriving at the fort was worth the considerable effort to get there. We took a small tour of the walls of the fort, and had a great view of the city. Then, we returned to the city, visited a vegetable and flower market, stopped for some street food samples from a place that Archet assured us was hygenic (we suffered no ill effects), and visited a man constructing copper and bronze pots in his home. Then we visited the Krishna temple in downtown Jaipur, entering the throng and seeing a very interesting side of life in Jaipur. This tour was a blast, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend. Great experience with an architect

When the wells get dry, then only we understand the worth of water What a stupendous tour it was. One of my all time favorite tours

Not only was this the best tour I did in India, it was one of the best tours I've done on all of my travels. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and open to any questions. The sunrise from Nahargarh fort weren't to be seen due to cloudy sky, but WELL worth the hike up anyway. Cycling through the empty streets of Jaipur made me feel so much at home, in my own element in a foreign place. It was such an interesting and unique way to see the city!!!! Would totally recommend.

Such a great tour

Thrilling ride with amazing views! Highlight of our trip in Jaipur!

After our morning cycle with Le Tour de India seeing Jaipur Old City , we couldn’t get enough! We opted to continue on to the fort and it was the highlight of our trip! It was a challenging ride but our guide Umesh was there every step of the way encouraging. The views were absolutely incredible and breathtaking. Once you reach the climb it is then a thrilling downhill ride back and you get to see even more sights. We had two guides, Umesh who lead the way but also a legend whose name I cannot spell (sorry) who kept me safe at the back and gave me a push when I needed it. Honestly do not have second thoughts to book this tour, or any of the others (we did three!). They will accommodate all your needs and make the tours about YOU! It isn’t just an off the shelf boring tour. It is exhilarating and the guides are full of knowledge you will learn so much. I am not exaggerating, it is fab!

Exploring Jaipur by bicycle, energetic guides!

Very nice way of exploring Jaipur, getting to know the city in a different way. Nice to meet some locals as well, you'll also visit known places for local food and drinks. The guides are very energetic, they greet people on the street and get greetings in return. Can definitely recommend!

MUST DO!

This tour is an absolute can’t miss when visiting Jaipur! Of all the things I did on a trip traveling throughout Dubai and India, this was the most memorable and most fun without a doubt. Although this is advertised as a bike ride to the Nahargarh fort, it’s truly much more special than that. After visiting the fort, this tour continues on and takes you on an intimate tour through Jaipur with many memorable stops and experiences that a foreigner otherwise likely would not experience. Our guide Kush was incredible. I loved having chai with him on rooftops, eating our way through the city, performing morning rituals at the temple, and pedaling throughout the city with a pro. I’ll never forget the memories this tour provided - a truly once in a lifetime experience with a great crew.

Jaipur bike tour

We started the bike tour at 5.30am with Umesh due to the Diwali festivals in the town. I was great to ride in the city with no traffic jams and watch it wake up. We saw the sunrise at the fort, fed the local cows, stopped at local street food places (chai tea, lassi, etc), went to Hindu prayer service, biked to the the Albert Hall. We recommend this tour with Umesh to see the town waking up and get a very good inside.

Experiencing the Pink City

It was an amazing experience. It was'nt just any other cycling tour, it was altogether an amazing experience of the heritage, culture and experience of Jaipur. The team leader is very active and learned which made the trip, the best one.

The highlight of my time in Jaipur

I was lucky to be the only person in my tour group. After some issues with transport on my end I arrived 20 minutes late - Umesh was understanding and we cracked on with the tour. Our route started with the cycle/walk up to Nahargarh Fort which features a fantastic view of the sunrise over Jaipur. Umesh adjusted our pace to suit my (average) fitness level but it was clear that he could easily go faster for more in-shape explorers. After a break at the top to take in the view and discuss the history of the city, we made our way down for a tasty street food breakfast (pakoras, jalebi, namkeen and lassi) which was included in the tour price. After this we viewed a few sites in the old city - The Albert Hall Museum, the Hawa Mahal and some of the bazaars. Cycling proved to be a great way to get between these attractions. The tour takes place before the roads get crazy, so I felt safe throughout. The last part of the tour was my favourite - we dismounted our bikes to join worship at one of Jaipur's busiest mandirs (Hindu temples), and then joined a group of gents in their park for their excellent morning "laughter yoga" session. These are experiences that wouldn't normally have been easily accessible to me as an outsider with very little Hindi. While the tour route was interesting in itself, the real highlight of the experience was spending time with Umesh as he showed off his city. As a guide he was warm, professional and very knowledgeable. We covered topics from history to spirituality to philosophy in a way that felt both conversational and structured. He ensured without being asked that I got plenty of photos to show off. Umesh seemed to have made friends with half of Jaipur, and touring the city under his guidance felt like the perfect combination of historic sightseeing and taking in life in Jaipur as it is today - all before 10am! He is a masterful guide and a great bloke. I can't recommend this tour enough, and I would have tried to go on the other tours if I had time. Thanks Umesh for a wonderful experience.

Awesome way to enjoy Jaipur city!

Early morning cycle tour allows you to enjoy Jaipur city in a unique way! The city looks completely different without the traffic. Riding/walking up the steep streets of Nahargarh fort allows you to get a great morning view of the pink city. We had several kids (ages 4-5) and they arranged for an e-rickshaw for them to travel with us. Bhagwan bhai took excellent care of our kids while we were biking through the city. Umesh is an amazing person and an excellent guide. He enlightened us with the history and culture of the city and we even had several philosophical discussions along the way! We started the morning by feeding cows and made several food stops along the way to energize us through our the trip. My favorite were the hot rajasthani kachori’s and hot jalebi’s. I highly recommend this tour! It’s worth waking up early for this tour.

Great cycling tour, would definitely recommend

A great way to see the city without the Jaipur traffic getting in the way. The early morning cycle tour was made special by the knowledgable and friendly guide Umesh. Stopping for chai, somosa’s, jalebi bai and lassai, this tour incorporates everything. Exercise, history, architecture, street food and fresh air. We walked/cycled to the top of Nahargarh Fort to get a great morning view of the city that can’t be reached by car. Would definitely recommend this tour! It’s worth the early morning start to see the sunrise in the pink city.

Great tailored tour

Umesh was a great guide for me. He communicated extremely well prior to the tour and sorted it what I wanted to do. Of course the fact that it was just me helped. I am an experienced cyclist but was not up to biking all the way up to the fort. It’s a grind! Nevertheless we walked the rest. Umesh took me round the back streets of the city with a couple of good food stops. A final highlight was a visit to morning prayer s at the temple. I highly recommend Le Tour. Hopefully tourists will begin returning to India and Jaipur.

Cycling to nahargarh fort

We cycled across the streets of jaipur all way to the top of the nahargarh fort. Umesh is a native of jaipur, understands the significance and importance of all monuments and he's an inspiring figure. His dedication for fitness and athletics is commendable.

So much more than just a cycling tour!

Umesh is one gem of a human being! I went in expecting we would get to ride bikes around Jaipur in the morning, but we did so much more! The amount of knowledge and experience Umesh has simply blew my mind. I wish I am able to gain that much clarity in life, just a class apart person. I wouldn't spoil the tour by providing all the details, but go in expecting to have an experience you would keep talking about. Best experience ever!

We started our trip in Jaipur with the cycle expedition and it was an experience of a lifetime! I would recommend this to everyone who is planning to explore Jaipur. The organisers Umesh and Kushal were great and they also helped us with amazing places to visit and stay for our other trips in Rajasthan. Umesh was very engaging and a wonderful person to talk to. This trip taught us a lot of things - about the people, culture and history of Jaipur. I would personally opt for this package again - totally worth it!!

Amazing experience, highly recommended from Germany!

The bike tour was really a great experience. Two guides showed us the best places in Jaipur that we would never have seen on our own tourist explorations. We drank chai and lassi from famous vendors, were guided through the colorful flower market and could enjoy the great view of the pink city from the fort. Consideration was given to all participants and all needs and wishes were met. We thank you most sincerely and would warmly recommend the tours to get to know Jaipur from another side.

Biking experience

It was an amazing experience!! From the start, till the end, I personally enjoyed each and every moment of the tour. Sometimes there were struggle too, climbing that steep road to nahargarh but as they say, the view was worth the climb. Biking through narrow roads of jaipur, exploring almost half of the city, and that kachori and lassi, loved it all!!

Independence Day

Best day in Jaipur 15th of August, going through the streets of the city and the fort was worth every sweat. Big thanks to Umesh for such a wonderful morning ride. He definitely knows the bike perfectly and will help you in every way possible. Definitely knows a lot about the city and its history. Discovering Jaipur!

It was one of the best experience. The cycle tour takes you go through the old city, making you visit some of the famous eateries along with cycling to the top of Nahargarh to get some amazing views. The tour was was well organised with a great guide and a helper :)

Highlight of our jaipur trip

We had an amazing experience Umesh(our mentor) guided us throughout and made us comfortable, as if we've been cycling forever. We were taken to The areas which can't be visited in cars and during the busy hours of the day. Nahargarh was of course mesmerising with its scenic beauty. All in all, a five star experience. A must have experience in Jaipur!

Our Jaipur trip would have been incomplete without this cycling trip to Nahargarh Fort. It was fun to start our early morning by feeding cows, then having kullad wala chai which gave a kick start to our day and we paddled through the grand Nahargarh fort. The sunrise view from the fort located on the edge of the city was nothing less than mesmerising! Of course, not to forget the luscious breakfast and the famous lassi after the tour was a highlight. Khushal and Umesh just made our trip more memorable and exciting. Thanks so much to entire team for such incredible experience!

A MUST TRY EXPERIENCE IN JAIPUR

Our Jaipur trip wouldn't have been as fulfilling without this cycle tour. It was definitely the highlight of our weekend. The fact that my always-grumpy-in-the-morning self enjoyed cycling at 6 in the morning is enough to reveal how fun this was. Our tour guide Omesh was absolutely wonderful. It did not feel like he was sermonising us, rather we had very interesting conversations about the history and politics of the Pink City. I particularly enjoyed the downhill ride from the Nahargarh Fort; it was quite thrilling.

Fantastic company - fantastic tour

I wanted a cycle tour for 18. Other companies would only provide separate tours for groups of 6 but Priya immediately helped to put together a tour where we could all stay together. On the day there were 5 casualties of a very busy lead up to Jaipur but the 13 of us who made the ride were treated to a fantastic morning. There was a wide range of fitness / confidence in our group but Khush and his team looked after everyone. The ride up to Nahargarh Fort provided great views and the cobbled path down into the old town was good fun. The stops in the old town for samosas, gulab jamun, jalebi and the best lassi were an unexpected pleasure.

The tour of my trip to India

A huge thank you to Khush and the team for an amazing morning. This was so much more than I expected. An early morning meet up and the started off through the quiet streets - on the way fed cows to give us good karma and stopped for a delicious chai. After stopping at Man Sagar Lake to see the sunrise we climbed up the 8km to Nahargarh Fort. I won't pretend it's an easy climb, you do need to be relatively fit, but the staff are so encouraging and looked after all members of the group regardless of ability. We stopped often for refreshment and photos and to marvel at the wonderful views. The 1.5km ride down is steep, but you can walk if you prefer. Once at the bottom, we weaved our way through Jaipur traffic - you need to be assertive and not stop for cows, dogs, pigs, tuktuks, cars, motorbikes or anything else thrown at you - but it's exhilarating!! We stopped for the most delicious samosas and sweets, and amazing lassi. Topped off with dancing at a temple still wearing our bike helmets and feeding monkeys in the park, this was really the tour of my trip to India!!

Must to do if you are in Jaipur

Me and my friend thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Umesh. It was a great experience. The steep uphill was taxing for us but the down hill and the city rush was thrilling and adrenaline filled. Thanks to Umesh and Kushal for such a wonderful memories.

Highlight of Jaipur

I was lucky as I was the only person booked on my tour, so got a private one! Umesh is one of the best guides I've met, and given it was just the two of us he pushed the pace and jammed in more activities. He is a pretty remarkable chap and has done some interesting things, he brings his experience and understanding to the tour and gives a really insightful perspective. We did so much more than I expected, from feeding cows, drinking chai, a little bit of meditation, some excellent park activities, joined worship at the temple, ate street food, the list goes on... Brilliant tour, would highly recommend!

Dont miss this ride!!!

Me and my daughter (10year old) managed to complete this amazing tour only because of our expert tour guide Mr. Umesh! Everything was perfectly organized right from the start. The bicycles were in great condition and they even had an appropriate bicycle for my daughter. The ride is full of upslopes while going up nahargarh fort so make sure u r in good physical condition. They do have a vehicle which follows us all the time just in case anybodys not able to complete the ride with bicycles. The views u will get to see while riding are just breath taking. Umesh was kind enough to take our pics at all the pretty locations. He also has great knowledge of healthy food and fitness and gave some amazing tips to my daughter who is a junior tennis player. All in all we had super fun on the tour and i highly recommend it. Thanks guys.. keep up the great work :)

NIce , fun ,trip with proper professional

It was a very nice experience and fun that tells you how much fit you can go and our guide was an extreme professional still so humble and I like the overall time schedule covering entire in 4 hours . I kind of liked the gift that pretty much symbolic of our trip.

A must-do experience

This was one of my favourite experiences in India. Our guide (Umesh) was fantastic. There were amazing pitstops along the way and the view on the top was well worth it! Me and my friends are not experienced cyclers but Umesh took us at our own pace which made us feel safe (even when weaving through the crazy Indian traffic). Definitely highly recommended!

Incredible and exhilarating ride to Nahargarh Fort

The ride up to Nahargarh Fort was definitely a workout but ultimately well worth it for the spectacular views overlooking the city. Our guide was personable and very helpful throughout the entire ride. We highly recommend this trip for a thrilling experience through Jaipur.

Morning tour to Nahargarh Fort

Getting up early in the morning was all worth it! We started our tour with Umesh from the Water Temple in Jaipur. The bikes were very good and helmets were there for safety. We started the tour uphill with some stops on the way to enjoy the view of Jaipur by sunrise. On the top at Nahargarh fort we had a small breakfast while chatting about the Indian way of life and that cycling should be part of that :) On the way down we had a nice ready-made chai tea and our tour ended at the Amer Fort.

Imperdible!

De los mejores tour que hicimos en India. Una experiencia inolvidable Gracias a los guías Khush y Trilok. Fueron muy amables y predispuestos a contestar todas nuestras preguntas y a darnos consejos de los próximos destinos. La vista es impresionante y Perfecta para salir del lío de la ciudad y tomar un poco de aire, además nos llevaron a tomar el un riquísimo té y el famoso lassi de Jaipur. Sin duda 100% recomendado! Un effort qui en vaut la peine !

Nous avons retrouvé umesh en face du jal Mahal pour s’attaquer au tour après avoir lus tous ces excellents retours d’expérience. En voici un de plus : Après un petit briefing rassurant pour des cyclistes amateurs qui s’apprêtent à aborder une montée de + de 7 km en vélo, nous sommes montés en selle. L’Ascension arrive vite et malgré les quelques passages un peu plus plats on sens notre cœur qui s’emballe. Tout cela au lever du soleil sur les montagnes vertes surplombant les villes d’amer et Jaipur. Quelques petites pauses nous permettent d’apprécier de beaux paysages. Arrivés en haut la vue est saisissante vous ne serez pas déçus d’avoir sué un peu. Umesh est adorable, souriant, et vous renseignera concernant l’histoire de Jaipur et Amber. Pour résumer : une vue qui se mérite avec un guide très amical. N’hésitez pas !
