Very good tour with Ajay! He was friendly, and knew lots of information for each stop. We had a much better time than we thought we would, and the sights are great (especially Amer Palace). Tour is customizable to what you want to see and for how long. Driver was on time and was a safe driver.

Exceptional guide

We recently toured Amber Fort and surroundings with Sunder. This day was a highlight of our trip as the perfect guide makes all the difference. Sunder was extremely knowledgeable, kind, flexible, and fun. The day was like a conversation between old friends, not a ‘script’. He took us to some shops where there was absolutely no pressure to buy and we enjoyed meeting several business people who were carrying on very old family businesses. If you go to Amber Fort do not miss the stepwell (which we might have on our own, but Sunder showed us). Highest possible recommendation for this guide.

Amazing, breath taking, good vibes

Jaipur was the first City of Rajasthan I visited. The ambience is spectacular. I visited the amer fort which was incredible, and jantar mantar. My tour guide was Sunder from Jaipur city tours and he knew history like the back of his hands. His description of the history was great and personally a great person to tour with. Thank you Sunder.

Great introduction to Rajasthan

This was our first day in India, Jai singh was very knowledgeable and showed us around the main sights in a car which was very convenient. Got some nice photos and tasted some local food.

Jaipur Day Tour

We had an excellent day with our guide Sunder. A University graduate, his knowledge of the Amber Fort and 18th century observatory was truly amazing. Apart from that he was a lovely human being who was so sensitive to our needs, giving us masses of information and answering questions when required but also giving us time and space for quiet reflection. Highly recommended

This was my family trip and we enjoyed it. Driver pick us from my hotel on time he ask my plan but I did not pre plan my trip. We goes as per his suggestions and that was excellent. Jaipur day trip

We went to the Pink City, Amber Fort and Palace, Water Palace and the City Palace. We also met some of the local artisans and how they are preserving their art over multiple generations. We had a great time. Sunder gave us the historical background of the places we visited but didn’t overwhelm us with information. He also gave us different options to tailor our tour to what we wanted. He let us set the pace which we appreciated at our age. We would highly recommend Sunder based on his expertise, flexibility and insight into Jaipur.

Jaipur - The Pink City

Visited Jaipur a few years back. I was traveling solo. At first, I wasn’t planning to get a guide, but I was happy and thankful that I did. Because if it wasn’t for Sundar, I wouldn’t be able to truly appreciate the beautiful history and wonderful culture of Jaipur. We started off early. Sundar was very friendly and not pushy that we have to go here or there. He asks you very politely on what places you wish to visit and from there he makes suggestions on the perfect route and some other local places that you might wish to visit. As we set off, and even before we go to our first destination, he asked me if I wanted to go and visit a not so touristy viewpoint of a serene lake. Intrigued, I said yes. On our way to the viewpoint, we passed by a temple, and on that day, there’s a feast in celebration of Lord Shiva. I was very lucky to witness and be a part of a Water Ceremony. It was very spiritual; something unplanned and very soul uplifting. Arriving at the lake, it was very quiet. You’ll only see monkeys playing around what seems like an abandoned place. The view was breathtaking. I told Sundar about my failed attempt to visit Chand Baori, a famous step well once used in the olden days for drinking water, bathing, prayer and meditation. It’s really very famous for tourists. Sundar explained to me that there are plenty of stepwells across India, and he even brought me to one. Visiting the Amber Fort, City Palace of Jaipur, Hawa Mahal and Albert Hall Museum, Sundar is very knowledgeable about the rich historical background of the city of Jaipur. Why it is called the Pink City with Jaipur boasting of beautiful gardens, courtyards, museums plus its royal residences. Every corner has its story to tell and it’s very interesting to listen to it from a government-approved tour guide like Sundar. If you’re interested in hearing, learning and absorbing the vast history of the city of Jaipur, I highly recommend getting Sundar as your guide. He’s very knowledgeable and also gives an extra touch in giving tours across Jaipur.

Excellent informative tour

We had a very full day with Sunder our guide and his driver. Saw all the sights promised and were not rushed through. When we had problems later in the afternoon with an order for clothing, Sunder helped us deal with the issue and stayed with us until it was sorted. Highly recommend.

Excellent day!

Sunder was an excellent guide. We saw many of the sites without any rush, and flexible to our interests. Tours around the Amber fort and palace were fascinating. We were taken to genuine local tradesman shops that were not pushy but offered genuine local products. A highlight for us was a visit to the Hindu Temple during the ceremony.

We booked a one day tour which included popular tourist spots in Jaipur and we were not disappointed. The tour was just perfect, our tour guide Jai and driver Rohit were knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting with a lot of historical and cultural trivia. The tour was for just about the right amount of time. Recommend this tour for people who are in Jaipur atleast for a couple of days.

Fun in the Pink City!!

Although it was very hot in June, our driver Ranjit and our tour guide Jai were AMAZING!!!!! Ac car which made it so comfortable for us to see all the beautiful sites Jaipur had to offer. Jai was very informative about the Amber Fort and the city itself and his photography skills were out of this world!! He asked us specifically what we wanted to see and made arrangements so we could do things on our list as well as what was included in the tour. We had so much fun and really enjoyed this experience thanks to Ranjit and Jai!

Jai is the absolute best

If you are thinking of taking a tour of Jaipur you absolUtely NEED to book with Jai. He is so knowledgeable of the city, the people, the culture and all of the history. We felt at home with Jai, and he is now a dear friend. We visited so many sites such as the Amber Fort, a beautiful stepwell, Jal Mahal, secret tombs, woodblock printing, had our very own Sarees made, dresses and home goods, and went to a jewelry factory where we say raw jewels be made into beautiful pieces of jewelry. Jai is the pataka!!!! Love him!

Best tour of my life!!

Seeing Jaipur with Jai is the ONLY way to see Jaipur! He was so informative and kind, one of the best people I’ve met in my life. I wish I could take him with me for all of my time in India. He made our firs experience in India incredible. I will never forget my time in Jaipur but most importantly I will never forget Jai, he has a huge heart and is so welcoming and wonderful. We saw the Jal Mahal, Amber fort, city palace, textile center and a jeweler. Truly the best tour of my life I feel so blessed to have met him!!

Great was my surprise when my driver picked me up at the hotel and later it turned out that there was a private guide for me alone, the rest of the day. A group of a one-man occupation. Hardly get the surprise, and after a trip through Pink city, the first stop was already planned. Hawa Majal, a beautiful building with 950 windows and niches. I do not envy the window washer. Beautiful façade where a photo shoot should not be missed. My guide, JK Singh, has, as it will turn out later, an artistic talent to make pictures. On to the next stop, the Jantar Mantar, a collection of incredible astronomical instruments, which determine the time to 2 minutes correctly. Constructions already put down in 1700. Genius.  To City Palace. His Majesty was apparently present because the national flag flew at the top. 50 euro access is not really budget friendly. Thanks to the expert explanation of the guide, The Palace itself got much more shine. On to Amber Fort which looks really impressive. What would I like to have the 11km wandered on the defensive wall.   The Last stop was the Jal Mahal a palace on an artificial lake that partly flooded during the rainy season. Again background for photos. After a final meal, I decided that guide and driver had fulfilled their duties. No Monkey Palace because I wanted to keep bite free.  Successful Day.

Jaipur in a bottle

We decided on the very night before on doing this tour and lucked out - Jai was wonderful! He is an excellent guide, informative and sensitive. He was able to cater to our specific needs and changed the itinerary accordingly. A highlight for me was to experience transcendent “ohms” in an echo chamber within the Amber Palace. Jai happens to be an avid cellphone photographer with rather creative skills. We are grateful also that Jai and the driver waited till after 8:30pm for us to partake in dinner at the 1135 AD restaurant. We all had a great time on the whole.

Jaipur Day Tour

I had a wonderful experience in Jaipur when I booked through viator for A Day Tour, I was contacted by Raju over the phone and I was pleasantly surprised that he made an effort to welcome me to Jaipur,India even though i hade yet to fly out, it so happened that my flight was cancelled from Surat to Jaipur(cut a long story short) so I contacted Raju and he was willing to do everything in his power to adjust the Day tour even though I was going to be late arriving, I cannot appraise him enough and recommend anyone to contact him through VIATOR if they are planning to visit JAIPUR anytime soon, Thank-you for a Great Experience RAJU!!.

This tour invites you to feel like you're hanging with a friend, Mr. Jai is so cool, taking professional pictures during the day, he is gentle an nice and explains very well in English, also I like the fact the tour is flexible, if you don't want to go to certain places they don't force you to do it and they can suggest something more to do, so this is a good tour because of: - the guide attention and company - flexibility on times and places - really good pictures - nice places to visit that you probably won't visit by yourself
