No. Just No.

Skip this tour! The guide started out saying that that the first priority was authenticity and that everything else was less important, including hygiene. Yuck. This was much less fun, informative and safe than a similar tour I took in Delhi. In Delhi the guide brought his own plates and cutlery. She constantly offer hand sanitizer and wet wipes. She made sure nothing was garnished with raw veggies. She never touched our food with her hands. That was professional, this tour is amateurish. The guide, Abdul, basically just walked us to various stalls and ordered food. Plus, meeting him at the beginning was awkward. It was unclear if he was the guide or someone trying to scam us (he was "playing a prank" which he thought was very funny).

A delicious way to eat the best Jaipur has to offer with the locals.

Great selection of street food and places to eat with care taken by the company for quality and hygeine. Our guide was keen to ensure our safety with road crossings and we had the best fun exploring the streets of Jaipur. I think this tour is a fantastic way to eat the best of Jaipur's food as its thoughtfully selected by locals.

I loved waking around Jaipur with Abdul. There were so many amazing, magical tasting experience in the tour. My guide really opened my eyes to thr wonder of Indian spices and the variety of flavors onr can experience. I appreciate you s knowledge of food/ spices and his commentary on the history of Jaipur. Amazing food tour - a must in Jaipur

Absolutely amazing food tour with Abdul in Jaipur :) couldn’t recommend it more - was a huge highlight of our trip. The food is amazing; carefully selected stores to ensure quality, hygiene and trying the absolute best of the local food. Abdul was so accommodating in ensuring that we were happy and we even ventured slightly off as we needed some things (contact lenses and hats etc) and he was so happy to help. Our top dishes were aloo tikki, pani puri, almond lassi and the homemade chocolate we tried… so delicious!! Thank you so much for our experience and ease with booking and meeting Abdul!

Amazing experience in Jaipur

We took the food tour in Jaipur market and it was absolute fun! First, Abdul, our tour guide, was so professional and nice that he made our time incredible. The food was great and we got to places that we could never find on our own. The experience and the service was so good, that we actually booked another tour that they offer, for a village outside of Jaipur. Abdul came with us for this tour as well and yet again he managed to make our experience special and amazing. The village tour is a great option for tourists who want to experience the quieter side of Jaipur. We visited some farms and local homes and we also went to visit in a public school which was an amazing and emotional experience. If you are looking for guided tours in Jaipur area, these guys are the absolute best!

It is such a memorable day. Khan is such a nice person he know a lot of things about Jaipur, He came to our hotel to pick us. We saw many things in Jaipur and Khan is a amazing guide. We tried many kind of sweets and food with him. We will highly recommend him to everyone.

Dizzying night time tour of Jaipur

We enjoyed our evening food tour of Jaipur with Tour For Taste. Our guide Khan, and driver Mosin, picked up up from our hotel and we got to see a LOT of night time Jaipur, as well as sample a wide variety of delicious foods and drinks. The tour was more than just food however, and some of the most memorable moments were just being in the midst of the hectic, almost surreal evening traffic and life of the city. At one point the tour stopped at a block print textile factory, which wasn't something that we were interested in, even if the items were quite nice, but we just said we weren't into that, and we moved on. We also hired the tuk tuk driver from the tour for a couple of days of sightseeing afterwards, and he was absolutely the best. So if you do the tour, and need a driver for later, we would highly recommend him.

Best Evening in Jaipur with khan.

That was a very nice tour. Khan had come to the hotel to pick us up. Then we went to a very famous Kachori shop, the taste of that Kachori is very delicious ! Then we went to a tea shop whose name was Gulab Ji Chai Wala. The best tea of ​​Jaipur is available here, we have tried many types of food, Chicken Tikka, Chur Chur Naan, Kulfi, Lassi etc. It was our very nice trip to Jaipur. Such a amazing Food and walking tour.

We did this tour when I was staying in Jaipur and I LOVED IT! It was such an informative and educational tour that explored the history of the Pink City and Jaipur. I learned so many incredible facts and saw some amazing things that I wouldn’t have experienced without going on the tour. Manish (the tour guide) had such a wealth of knowledge of the city and could answer every question I had on the tour. The guides were friendly and helpful and really made the experience incredible. I highly recommend doing this tour if you want to see the city from a local and historic point of view!!

Wish I'd booked elsewhere

The high ratings are baffling. Aftab met us at our hotel in a tuk tuk, which was cool. But then he picked up a guide he wanted to train and put him in the back with us. The tuk tuk is very uncomfortable with three people in a single seat. If he wanted to train a guide, he should have booked a bigger tuk tuk. Now, to the tour. The food was ok, but it felt disorganized. He took us for kulcha at a chain restaurant with like 10 locations. It was very good, but stopping at a chain restaurant for a food tour felt inauthentic. The tour was supposed to include a vegetable market, which didn't happen. The last thing we ate was samosa--after we had our kulfi dessert. So the order was strange, and the route seemed unplanned and on-the-fly. The worst part was that he suggested we try the shaved ice from a street vendor. I told him on several occasions that we are Americans and needed to be very careful about bacteria. Everything we read said not to drink tap water and not have ice from street vendors because it will likely get you sick. It seemed irresponsible for him to suggest our trying it, and only when we voiced our concerns, he said "oh, it's probably best for you not to have it." I wish I would have skipped this tour and booked elsewhere.

Great food tour

We stumbled upon this company and saw the great reviews. So we thought we would give it and certainly lived up to it. Mohsin is an awesome guide. He took us through many of the back streets of the jaipur where we got to visit the food markets, we got to see how they make mustard oil and we got to venture into the kitchen of a local restaurant. We went to a couple of beautiful place's and learnt much about the history of jaipur. We went through the vegetable market, the marble market (where we got to see how the marble sculptures are made) it was interesting! We sampled some local foods. I would highly recommend this tour and his company to anyone visiting jaipur.

We booked this food tour in morning. Khan pick us from our hotel he took us to food market where we eat some street food, like samosa, kachori, and try chicken biriyani, he took us very famous tea shop chai was very tasty. I am in love with Indian food. Highly recommended! Thank you all team!

Fantastic food tour

This was an excellent tour. We land and meet Khan for the tour. We were tried and kinda regretting booking the tour. So glad we didn't cancel. Was so good. Khan was so knowledgable about the food and history of the city. Was a fantastic evening. We enjoyed ourselves so much and learned so much on the first evening we were there. DELICIOUS FOOD

We booked this tour for our first day in Delhi. We had a little trouble finding the starting point, but were only a few minutes late and our guides were waiting patiently. We waited for another couple to arrive and then set out into the busy market. We had no idea what to expect as this was our first visit to India, and our first day! The guide took us to several established food stalls in the market, explained the various dishes and how to eat them, and the way 'heat' or spiciness worked in the foods and how to enhance or tone it down, just by the combination of foods you eat. There was lots of delicious food to experience and we learned a lot. Our guide also gave us some recommendations of where to eat in other places in India we were visiting. We loved our tour and thank you highly recommend

The Jaipur Street Food tour was more than I expected it to be and would really recommend to anyone that would like a taste of authentic street dood and experience. My tour guide, Hero, was and amazing guide and host. I was late for start of the tour (don’t under estimate Jaipur traffic), but he assured me that he’ll wait for me and he did so. Hero also helped me get an Uber after the tour, even having a chat with Uber driver to ensure he drops me at the right hotel. Hero thank you, you made it a memorable experience.
