Great guide, extremely informative and took some great pictures of us in places in the palace and fort that were beautiful spots.

First ime in Jaipur

The place is superb, the guide did an excellent job. The first and most important place to visit in Jaipur.

Very well coordinated tour

The guide and his team were in constant touch with us. They texted us the day before and also during the day. Reminding us of the trip and what to expect and where to meet them. The directions were very clear. We met them at the top of the fort. We were able to connect. The guide was most knowledgable. He knew where to take use and when to take a break. He volunteered to take our picture. Great fun package in jaipur.

Amber fort is One of our highlights of the Golden Triangle tour while in jaipur when you first see it from the road it is very impressive. Inside the garden courtyard with mirrored winter palace was my highlight. We had an amazing tour guide prem with us who told us great stories, took photos as well and lead us through the grounds like a pro- overall recommended. thank you Prem!

Rip off - complete con

We had booked for a 5-6 hour experience which lasted a little over 45 minutes. Our guide took a few pictures of us told us a little about the history then rushed us around from place to place. The objective became clear when he then took us to some of the expensive tourist shops inside the fort. As soon as we indicated we did not want to buy anything the tour abruptly ended. We bought the trip via the TripAdvisor app turns out we could have bought on the day for 1/4 of the price at the fort itself and hired a guide locally. The ticket included “fast track” entry and whilst the fort was “ overrun” with visitors there was NO queue. Feel very badly let down by TripAdvisor on this one. Will not use for booking tours again. I guess for many first time visitors to India they are a trusted source. I wonder what actual validity/ quality checks they do on the trips they promote ?

Tour of Amer Fort

Our tour guide was very good photo taker and got the shots! At the end of tour he was able to even guide us to the step well when we told him we were heading there.

Treated like a Maharaja!

As soon as I booked the tour, I was contacted for logistics! It helped me understand where to meet and how to get there. My tour guide was Prem and was very knowledgeable about the fort & palace. He took me to places in the fort where the other tourists did not, like the original elephant platform in the back used by the king! Had an excellent experience, thank you

Lovely fort with imposing architecture

Beautiful fort with a lot to explore. It usually gets very crowded so it's better to visit during early hours. You can hire a guide when you get there. Buying a composite ticket helps avoid buying ticket at the fort. The composite ticket is valid for two days and covers some of the important attractions in Jaipur including Amer.

A definite must

Our guide Manoj was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. Had a wonderful guided tour around the Amber fort, and it really is an exquisite place. Highly recommend.

Disappointing, waste of money.

- Paid for a 2 hour experience, we were done in under 50 mins. - The guide skipped out large parts of the fort, clearly in a rush to get rid of us. - 'Skip the queue' - there were no queues so wouldn't let that sway your decision. - Official guides available at the gate for 400 rps. I'd do that next time.

A highlight in our trip to Jaipur

Nice Experience! The combination of knowledge of the story of the fort and kindness. The best guide that we have been in our trip. Very kind person we talked a lot of things, not only the history Amber fort we talked about life. And he is the best Photograher. thanks a lot for your kindness Prem!

Excellent service (undermined by poor admin & communications).

Our guide - Mr Prem - was excellent and despite being of some vintage, knew all the spots for selfies and funky photos which went down well with the kids. Very knowledgeable and done at just the right pace. You’re probably in there for a couple of hours. The reason I’m not rating this as excellent is that the overall management & communications was poor. After booking (through TripAdvisor) I had WhatsApp exchanges with 3 different people with no one really introducing themselves and no clear instructions on where to meet, beyond ‘please have your driver call us when you’re there’. Similarly, post-tour one of these numbers was in an indecent hurry for a TripAdvisor review…so here you are. Please take note and improve how you communicate with customers; the product is good but your management is not.

Beautiful architecture. We had a private amber fort guide from india saying namaste trips who explained the history of the fort. It was well worth visiting on our tour of Jaipur. Guide Prem does great job on tour i recommend him.

Guide Prem Prasad Sharma was highly talented, experienced and informative. He explained us about the palace throughly and also helped us getting good picture by guiding us about places where we can get good photos.

DONT BOOK . Hopeless guide .

The guide was useless . He is only interested in taking photos . Rather than explaining the features about the palace . Or the fort . He just gave a vage explaining like you are reading out from a book . And what I didn't like was . The told us that he will show us another part of palace and took us to a shop . And we were forced to see things . We were not intrested in . I would suggest that you go directly . The ticket costs about 100 per pax and guide is available for 200 for couple group . Approx . This guy is charging double and is good for Nothing .

Beware of the shopping scam!

The guide was ok. He seemed more interested in taking pictures than talking about the history of the place. He led us to a shop that claimed to be a government shop. Turned out to be totally fake. Beware of the scam!

Beautiful part of Incredible India - The Amber Fort

Really enjoyable trip. Nice weather, not overcrowded. A guide was nice man with lot of stories. The Amber Fort is a amazing place.

Buy the pass, Save some time

The lines were huge an Amer fort for the physical passes. It was a peak-holiday season sunday, even during covid period, but long queues welcomed us. We were lucky to purchase this pass which helped us save a lot of time and spend it judiciously on exploring the monument rather than waiting in line for our turn. Laxman was our virtual guide. He made sure we were in safe hands and recommended the dos and don’ts at the fort. He was an example of the famous Rajasthani hospitality. Really appreciate and heartfelt gratitude!

Seemless service

The trip coordinator Mr Laxman and trip guide Mr Abbas were very diligent, particular and up to the mark. They guided us to the best in Amber fort area.

Skip the line amber fort admission

We booked the ticket online through this service late the evening before our visit. Went very smoothly. And the service via sms by the organiser was quick and nice too. As it’s low season in India now, there was no line at the ticket booth... So we could have bought our tickets on premise too. But hey, all went well. Ps. The audio guides headphones are terrible. Bring your own!!
